| 1. Midnight Aches |
A lone moon hung low against the backdrop of a starless night, its ethereal glow spilling down onto the four stoic faces of Hokage Rock to illuminate them with an otherworldly light. The people of the village of Konohagakure quietly sleeping beneath the unchanging gaze of their silent protectors.
Yet not all of those within the village had fallen into their dreams. Far in a tucked-away corner of the village, a single candle burned deep within the walls of the Hyuga compound, the singular flame dancing almost as if to rebel against the silent song of the night that poured in from the open window. It was here, within this small room, that the marble-skinned heiress Hinata Hyuga lay restlessly awake upon her bed, her silvery eyes watching the shadows birthed by the flame dance along the walls.
She was unsure how long she had been awake for, unsure of how much time had passed. The memory of bidding her father and younger sister goodnight seemed fresh, but she knew instinctively that quite some time had passed since their footfalls ceased to echo through the compound. Yet it was not her family's presence that truly held her thoughts. Instead, her mind was drawn to something far from the comforts of that candlelit room. Rather, a someone. A someone with blonde hair, a knack for trouble, and an undeniable spirit that awoke the heiress inside in ways she could never begin to truly explain.
"Naruto kun" She whispered into the room, almost as if she feared the very walls would reveal her secret. Her ache. It was an ache whose secrets only her fingers can come to know, for they had an understanding of her even more than she did. And as they slid along the lavender silk of her nightgown, baring down across her stomach and further, the anticipation only grew within her. For in her mind, they were not her fingers, but his. And the more she entertained that thought, the more she wanted it. To feel a heat not her own, an ache not her own, and a firm hand that craved her as much as she craved it.
"I need you" Another whisper followed, desperation slipping past her lips as her index pressed down onto the very mark of her womanhood. Her digits wormed their way beyond the thin layer of protectiveness, dipping down low against her heat once more to glide over its entrance, slipping beyond the folds of her flower and into its depths. The tingling sensation she'd come to know rushed over her and soon her free hand's fingers graced her lips, biting down on her knuckle while she began to slide the finger within her flower to its sensitive parts, letting out a gentle coo as she hit the sweetest of spots.
"Don't stop Naruto Kun.."
It was then, without warning, while she found herself drowning in the pleasures of the moment, that a sharp and rather loud bang shook her window. So sudden was the moment that the heiress simply froze in place, her eyes flicking over to the source of the commotion. A moment later two familiar hands had gripped the side of the window, followed what sounded like a groan followed by a certain blonde-haired young man pulling himself through the window-nearly knocking the candle over in the process- and stood within her room.
"Sorry about that Hinata," said a familiar voice as he rubbed the back of his head, "I kinda fell over that bush back there and I then ended just smacking right into the wall. I heard you calling my name so I thought I might check up on yo-….uhhh….Hinata?"
A deafening silence filled the room as their eyes locked for the first time that night.
Author's Notes
Those of you that have read the original version of this story may have already spotted a few changes, one of the big ones being Naruto's entrance. When reading back through the original story, I noticed that how Naruto's arrival is never actually explained, nor is the source of the loud noise that disturbs Hinata's "alone time". He sort of just "appeared" in the darkness. And for someone as knuckleheaded as Naruto, stealth is, to me, not something he would be very good at. So I made his entrance more...Naruto and less confusing.
I also removed the "Hinata's changing shirt color" that was pointed out by replacing her outfit with a nightgown, something that seemed more sensible for her to be wearing.
I'd also like to point out something I found pretty neat! The original story was posted on 8/21/2012 while the remaster was posted today 8/12/2021. If you just flip the two 12's you have today's date! I thought that was pretty crazy! Seriously, what are the chances?!
Anyways, Thanks for checking out my remastered story! Till next time!
