Author's Notes:
Heya guys! If this story looks familiar, it's because I'm reposting some fics for a friend that used to have an account on here. He decided to stop because his mental health was in a bad state, and he felt like his writing was only helping him fuel it. He shared them with me a long time ago, so I decided I would continue the ones he left unfinished (If I find them interesting). This one will be one of them! I hope you guys enjoy! (The first two chapters are written by the previous author. My continuation will start on the third chapter.)

"Leni! Leni!" A young Lincoln shouted.
"Hmm?" Leni was sitting on the steps of the front porch as she heard her brother shout her name from the distance. The other siblings all went to school earlier today minus Lucy and herself. Reasons being Lucy is just a baby, and Leni's stomach was hurting a lot when she woke up that morning.
She saw Lincoln brushing past his other siblings on the sidewalk as he rushed towards her as fast as his little legs would let him.
"Hi Lincy!" Leni greeted with a heavenly smile.
Lincoln jumped into her arms and hugged her.
"Awwww!" Luan, Luna, and Lori said in unison. The little tyke could never keep away from his big sister, but it was still cute every time he chased after her.
"What a baby." Lynn muttered under her breath.
Lincoln clung tight to Leni. He was so excited to see her after being separated for what seemed like days.(Even though it was just a couple hours.)
"How was school today, Lincy?" Leni asked.
"I had so much fun! I got to draw, I got to play, and I got to sleep!" Lincoln babbled.
"Oh! You got to draw?" Leni said in an overly-ecstatic tone as she picked him up and cradled him.
"Yeah! Do you want to see what I drew?" Lincoln asked as he grabbed Leni's cheeks.
"Of course! But you gotta let go of my face first!" Leni gushed with squished cheeks.
"No! You're a CHIPMUNK!" Lincoln argued.
"Aw, I'm a chipmunk you say?" Leni asked. "Well if I'm a chipmunk, then I have to...NIBBLE!"
Leni proceeded to give the toddler soft lip bites in rapid succession.
"Hahahahaha! Stop! It tickles!" Lincoln giggled.
"O-M-G!" Lori squealed. "That is literally too precious!"
"That's one for the scrapbook!" Luan took a camera out of her backpack, and quickly snapped a picture of the adorable moment.
"I gotta admit, he's the most adorable little bro a sis can have!" Luna commented.
Lynn simply rolled her eyes away from the situation.
After a while, Lincoln softly put his little hand on her nose. That was his way of saying "hold up for just a moment." No one knew this except for Leni since she's the only one Lincoln seems to interact with most of the time. Lincoln then reached into his Ace Savvy backpack, and pulled out a piece of paper that had a crayon drawing on it.
"I made this in class! It's me and you!" Lincoln explained.
The drawing had two stick figures. Lincoln, who was drawn with an orange crayon, was holding Leni's, drawn in light green crayon, hand with a sun drawn in the corner.
"*gasp* This is so good, Lincy! I'm so proud of you!" Leni cradles him closer into a warm embrace. "Let's hang this on the fridge so mommy and daddy can see!"
"Okay!" Lincoln responded with a bright smile.
Leni carried Lincoln inside the house to put up his drawing on the fridge. The other siblings soon followed, each going to their respective rooms except for Lori who sat down next to her parents on the couch. Rita was cradling Lucy in her arms while Lynn Sr. was playing peekaboo with her.
"Hey mom! Hey dad!" Lori greeted.
"Hi sweetie! Did you have a good day at school?" Rita asked.
"Yeah, it was alright. I have to talk to you later in private, mom." Lori said.
"What for?" Rita asked worriedly.
Before Lori replied, her cheeks turned a faint shade of red. "It's about a boy."
"Oooooooh!" Everyone said in unison. Leni popped her head out from the kitchen, and the other sisters were lined on the staircase.
"Now now everyone! She wants it to be private!" Rita declared.
"Ahhhhh." Everyone sighed. They all went back to what they were previously doing.
"Of course, sweetie. We can talk about it later." Rita said, patting Lori's head.
"Thanks mom." Lori said with a bright smile. She then hugged her mother and played with Lucy along with Lynn Sr.
Leni, while still cradling Lincoln, walked back into the living room after she was done hanging up Lincoln's drawing.
"Hey, can someone, like, hold Lincy for a while? I have to work on an art project for school." Leni asked politely.
"I can!" Lori jumped up. It was rare that anyone got a chance to hold Lincoln since he was so attached to Leni, so when the chance arrived almost everybody would be delighted to.
"Thanks, Lori!" Leni began to hand Lincoln over to her big sister.
"Come on, Lincy! It's my turn!" Lori gushed.
"No!" Lincoln gripped onto Leni.
Lori began to frown at what her little brother just said.
"Lincy?" Leni questioned.
"I'm staying with Leni!" Lincoln pouted.
"Now, Lincy. We already had playtime. You can play with Lori though!" Leni said in an attempt to cheer him up.
"No!" Lincoln turned away from everyone else and hid his face in Leni's bosom.
"Lincoln." Leni said with slight sternness.
"It's fine, Leni." Lori assured. "Just have him walk around our room while you're working."
A football flew down the steps with Lynn Jr. in hot pursuit.
"I think he's had enough baby time. Let him come play some football with me!" Lynn Jr. demanded.
"Lynn Jr.! Now you know your baby brother is too young for that!" Rita scorned.
"Tch, fine." Lynn Jr. walked out into the backyard alone with her football.
Leni walked upstairs to her room, and put Lincoln down on the floor while she worked on her project.
Lincoln walked around the girl's room picking up random things and examining them. While he was playing with Leni's hair brush, he began to notice what Leni was actually working on.
"Leni." Lincoln asked as he tugged on her dress.
"Yes, Lincy?" Leni asked while she was gluing what appeared to be a small flower onto the tux of a doll.
"What are you making?" Lincoln asked with genuine wonder.
"Oh, I'm making a groom and his bride on their wedding day." Leni replied.
"What's a wedding?" Lincoln asked, tilting his head.
"A wedding? Why, it's only the best day of everyone's lives!" Leni answered.
"Really?" Lincoln asked with a big smile.
"Of course!" Leni said as she patted his head. "When a man and a woman love each other a lot, they get married. And the wedding day is the official start of the marriage. From then on, they spend the rest of their lives with each other raising a beautiful family." As Leni was saying this she was daydreaming of one day getting hitched to a cute boy.
Lincoln was amazed by how great marriage sounded. And, with a face of pure innocence he looked up to his sister and said, "Leni, when I grow up, I will marry you!"
Leni tensed up at Lincoln's words at first, but remembered that he is just 5 and doesn't know much about true love.
"Haha! Silly! You can't marry your siblings! It has to be someone that you meet outside!" Leni explained.
Lincoln frowned at Leni's words, but didn't further argue the point.
Later That Night…
"Alright, Lincy. Time to go beddy-bye." Leni cooed
"No! I'll sleep with you!" Lincoln gripped onto Leni tightly.
Leni sighed and sat down on her bed cradling Lincoln in her arms. She began to worry about the toddler. Ever since he was born, he always seemed to be overly-attached to her. She thought about it as she was cradling him to sleep.
"He'll grow out of it."
To be continued...
