Chapter 5
A little Education
I do not own PAW Patrol
Xochitl lay in her pup house in nervous anticipation. She hadn't gotten in trouble since she and Tracker had both been caught lying to their owners not too long before. Remembering the incident, she felt a pang of guilt. "How could you do something to make her have to punish you that way?" she thought to herself.
Just as she was thinking this, Maria came over and beckoned her to follow. As they continued toward her room, Xochitl felt even more guilty. "After last time, you promised you would never make her put herself through that again, now look what you've done!" thought Xochitl. As soon as they arrived, Maria sat on the bed, and Xochitl hopped up to join her. The nervous pup had a repentant look on her face.
"Xochitl," said Maria as she noticed her dog's expression, "I just want to talk about what happened today."
"You mean… I'm not in trouble?" asked Xochitl cautiously.
Maria shook her head and kissed her. "No, the only thing you did wrong was let your curiosity get the better of you," she reassured.
Xochitl sighed in relief.
"Xochitl, you know that warm, close, exciting feeling you get when flirting/bonding with Tracker?"
Xochitl nodded.
"Well, you can get overwhelmed by that feeling, and in a lot of boys, usually older than him though, that's what their body does when that happens.
"You mean his… um," mumbled Xochitl as she briefly tried to remember what tracker had called it during that awkward interview, "Penis," she blushed, "gets all big like that?"
Maria nodded " "Anyway," began Maria, "I think you really embarrassed him today."
The Xoloitzcuintli nodded in agreement. "So…" she began, suspecting her owner was getting to something.
"So tomorrow, we're going down to see Tracker and Carlos so you can apologize to him."
"All right," she agreed.
"One more thing," began her owner, "after you apologized to him, I want you to tell him that secret."
Xochitl began nodding cautiously, she tried to figure out what her owner was referring to. Then it suddenly hit her. "You don't mean that one, do you?"
"Exactly," confirmed her owner.
"But why?" she asked
"You'll understand tomorrow. Now, time for both of us to get some sleep."
Notes:
Xochitl's nervousness: Similar to Skye in "I Just Don't Want to See you Get Hurt", the situation resembles the time she was punished so she is nervous that's what's happening.
How could you do that to her: if you want to learn more about this, I can write the story of the two of them getting punished for that incident, but only if at least three people ask for it.
You don't mean that one: Xochitl is referring to a particularly embarrassing memory. You will have to keep following the story to find out what it is.
Xochitl not remembering: When they said all said what they called theirs during the interview, they weren't paying attention to each other, but rather on embarrassing Ryder.
Reviews
Cfruge444: Trust Issues ch 3: Alsatians and German Shepherds are the same breed. The only reason for the alternative name was that Brits in World War I were uncomfortable with the German in German Shepherd.
Cfruge444: New leaf ch 5: My decision to give him that diagnosis was due to him exhibiting behaviors I personally relate to in the episodes "Pups Save a Pteradactyl" and "Pups Save a Hum-Dino" . p.s. Sorry if I have been rude to you in the past.
Marshall v2018: Thank You.
Regarding other stories, I do plan on getting to the alcoholic dog story sooner or later. Two other ideas I've had would be a Rocky and Zuma bonding story involving Rocky taking a bath, or another Rocky depression story, not a dream this time. Another idea that is been going through my head for a while now is this idea that before Jura and his previous love departed, knowing they'd never see each other again, deliberately took things further than either of them was ready for. Do you like this idea? How far do you think they went? In any case, don't forget to leave a review if you have any questions, comments or concerns.
