Author's Notes:

Alrighty, this is officially where I start writing now! I hope you guys like this chapter! It's the first one actually written entirely by me! Please let me know what ya think!

Lori and Leni's room…

To say Leni was ecstatic about today would be a massive understatement. She always dreamed about the day she would finally meet her true love. Even when she was ten, she was dressing herself up in the most elegant fashion to get all the gentlemen to notice her. Heck, one of the main reasons she loves fashion so much is because of all the attention it brings her. Although some of it might be creepy and perverted, she couldn't exactly deny that she still liked being seen as attractive in another's eyes. She would actively flaunt her beauty in many cases. Even if a boy was already taken, she would still try to flirt with him and tell him how handsome he looked. She didn't do this to actively upset anyone or destroy people's relationships. She really genuinely just liked how boys would get nervous and excited when she was near because it made her feel loved.

Despite all the flattery and teasing, Leni was never actually ready to be romantically involved with someone. She received many invitations to a date before today. The amount of love letters, gifts, roses, and compliments she acquired through the years were much more than your average girl should get. Alas, with a heavy heart, she would politely reject all advances. She would always admit to every boy that asked her that she still liked them and would love to go out with them, but she also felt that it was too early. You can't rush love and no one understood that more than Leni. From the multiple rom-coms she's seen throughout her life, Leni knew that love had to be developed and nurtured.

There was one exception of course…Chaz.

Chaz was the perfect man in Leni's eyes. He's always so attentive to her, he always compliments the way she looks, and he's got an amazing fashion sense! He's always making her laugh, and sending her cute cat videos which he knows she can't resist! Sure he was a little on the chubby side, but Leni was never one to judge someone by their physical appearance. If they weren't pretty on the inside, it didn't matter if they were built like Hercules, she wouldn't be interested. "Oh Chaz…"

While Leni was still stuck in a daydream about Chaz, the scent of pancakes wafted from the kitchen and into her room.

"Oh!" Leni exclaimed while being broken out of her trance. "I'm gonna be late for breakfast!"

Leni got dressed in her usual seafoam, green outfit, and headed out of her room. As she closed her door, she heard strange moans coming from the bathroom.

"Oh Leni!~" Strange…that sounded like Lincoln.

Not knowing why he was calling her name, Leni shrugged and walked up to the bathroom door to knock on it.

In the bathroom…

"Oh Leni! I'm so close!" Lincoln began to hasten his stroking motions as he was nearing the point of satisfaction.

"Close to what, Lincy?" Lincoln froze solid as he heard those words.

He pulled back the shower curtains with haste. Luckily, the bathroom door was still closed. Almost all the tension drained out of Lincoln as he sighed with relief. It was just Leni knocking on the door. She must've overheard him, and gotten worried.

"Close to finishing this shower! Haha! Sorry about that!" Lincoln said, nervously.

"Oh okay! You don't have to tell me though, Lincy! Remember you're a big boy now!" Leni remarked, sweetly.

Lincoln blushed heavily at his sister's words before replying, "Right, right! Sorry, I forget sometimes, hahaha!"

"Awww, it's okay! Whenever you're done, make sure to come get dinner! You don't want anyone stealing it, right?" As Leni reminded him, she headed down to join the other Louds in the kitchen to eat breakfast.

(*phew* That's a crisis averted. Better finish up quickly, so nobody gets suspicious.)

In Lynn's Room

"Stupid Leni! Stupid Lincoln!" Lynn was internally venting while abusing her punching bag like it had just insulted her entire sports career.

(What's so great about that bimbo that Lincoln doesn't want to spend even a millisecond with me?!) Lynn thought to herself.

Among the Loud siblings, the only two girls that could be described as having masculine interests would be Lynn, and Lana. Lynn didn't really consider sports to be something specifically masculine or feminine, but her sisters did. None of them ever wanted to play football, baseball, or even just catch! You would think Lana would be interested in something of that vein, but she's mainly just into engineering and animals. Lynn truly felt like an alien inside a house of wildly unique people.

Then there's Lincoln. Surely a boy would be interested in sports, right? NOPE! All he does all day is read Ace Savvy and watch stupid shows like ARGGH! Lynn would constantly attempt to interest him in playing any kind of outside sport or activity. However, Lincoln was never interested.

Normally, Lynn would be a bit sad about it, but would eventually cut her losses and move on. BUT, Lynn would notice something else about Lincoln. Whenever Leni would ask him to hang out, or help her with fashion modeling, it's "Oh! Why of course, Leni! Would you like me to shine your sunglasses as well? Maybe massage your back?" Of course that's exaggerating a little bit, but it still felt all the same to Lynn.

"GAHHHH! Stupid, stupid, STUPID!" Lynn shouted as she started pummeling her sandbag.

"Everything okay in here, Lynn?" Lincoln was peeking in from the side of the door with a towel draped around his neck.

Lynn looked at him from the side and sighed, "What do you care? Just go and eat your stupid breakfast with stupid Leni."

Lincoln furrowed his brows, "Don't talk that way about Leni! She's our sister!"

Lynn eagle gripped her sandbag to the point that some grains started pouring out, "Ohhhhhh, right! Like you'd even bat an eye if someone talked that way about me! Even though I'm your sister too!" Uncharacteristically, Lynn's eyes were leaking with tears as they hit the ground one by one.

"What are you talking about?!" Lincoln asked bewildered. "I would never take it lying down if someone badmouthed you!" Lincoln walked over to Lynn and put his hand on her shoulder.

Sniffling, Lynn looked back at Lincoln with red and puffy eyes, "Yea you would. You only care about Leni."

As he heard this, Lincoln looked to the side with guilt. "No matter what I do or say, you won't even look my way. But Leni could just wave her hand and you'd come running over to her like her knight in shining armor!" Lynn continued, "I just wish you'd pay attention to me every once in a while. Is that so much to ask for?!"

Without wasting another second Lincoln pulled his sister into his embrace, and hugged her tightly, "Lynn, I love all my sisters. Leni's just… a different case. Just because I spend a little more time with her, doesn't mean I don't care about you just as much."

"*sniff* You're lying through your teeth, Stinkoln." Lynn tries to gently push her brother away. "I'm not." Lincoln tightens his embrace, "I really do love you, Lynn. I'm sorry I haven't been there for you."

Lynn's lip begins to quiver as she starts to return his embrace, "Then *sniff* you better show up to my game tonight."

"Of course." Lincoln assured as he patted her back. "Now, let's go get some grub before it's too late!"

Lynn wipes some stray tears out of her eyes before looking back at Lincoln with a weak smile. "Okay…"

To be continued…
