Author's Note: So here is another chapter. One more after this. Read and leave me some love at the end)

When I got home that night after dealing with Marnie, I had a feeling I was going to be in big trouble. Eric was waiting for me on the front porch. He was pacing like a caged lion and I could feel his anxiety wash over me. It waned a bit when he saw me pull up in front of the house, but I could still feel his concern.

I was quick to get out of my car and run up the steps to greet him. "Hi Honey, I'm home."

"Lover, where have you been?"

I had hoped that he wouldn't ask me that. I didn't want to lie to him, but I couldn't be completely honest either. "I had some errands that I need to run."

"Oh really?" He pulled me into his arms and inhaled my scent. Uh oh. "Why do you reek of magic?"

"There was something magical that I needed to take care of."

"Sookie, you can't bullshit a bullshiter. What did you do?"

Well, there was no denying it now. "I went to the Moongoddess Emporium and dealt with Marnie."

"Sookie, that was very dangerous of you to go there by yourself."

"It wasn't. It was my power that was needed to take care of hers."

"But what happens when she starts telling other people what you can do?"

"She''l never remember me. I might have siphoned your glamouring ability the other day to help me out."

"You cunning little sneak. It's a good thing that I love you so much."

"I love you too. Are you mad at me?" I couldn't help pulling out the puppy dog eyes that he couldn't resist.

"Put those away Lover. I can never stay mad at you. I just don't want anything to happen to you."

"It won't. Now, what are you doing here? I didn't think you were coming over until tomorrow night."

"I got a call from the contractor telling me that they finished earlier than expected. I wanted to come over and check the work."

"That was fast."

"I didn't want you to live in that destruction any longer than necessary."

"You are so good to me."

"I do have an ulterior motive though."

"And what would that be?"

"Well, the house is finished, Russell Edgington is dead and now Marnie has been dealt with. I think that deserves a celebration."

"What did you have in mind?" I had a good idea what he had in mind and I could get on board with that.

"I thought that we could christen our new bedroom tonight."

"I like the way you think Mr. Northman." I pulled him down for a quick kiss. "Let me get cleaned up and I'll meet you in the bedroom."

"Take your time. I've got a surprise I need to set up for you."

"You are so sweet." I kissed him once more. "I love you."

"I love you too my Sookie."

I forced myself to pull away from him and raced up stairs. I took the fastest shower ever, dried and curled my hair and put on just a little mascara and lip gloss. Then I pulled out the outfit I'd picked out for this night.

I'd been in Shreveport running some errands when I saw this gown in a store window. It wasn't something I would have normally picked out for myself, but I had a feeling that it would definitely get my Viking's attention.

It was blood red satin that fell down to my ankles. There were spaghetti straps and lace at the bodice that accentuated my chest. And there were two cut outs of lace in the front that went up to my thighs. I loved the feel of the satin on my skin and I couldn't wait for Eric to see me in it.

I was stalling in the bathroom after I was finished getting ready . I was actually nervous about tonight. I knew that a part of me had already done this with Eric, but another part was like this is your first time with him and it should be special. No matter what, tonight would be special and something that I would remember forever so I really had no reason to be nervous.

"Lover, are you planning on spending the entire night in the bathroom or will you be joining me at some point?"

I couldn't help but laugh at his impatience. "Hold your horses Viking." I stepped out of the bathroom and stopped short as I looked around the bedroom. Every flat surface was covered in lit candles, the floor and the bed were covered in rose petals and Eric was kneeling on the ground in just a pair of black sleep pants. He had a smile on his face and a ring box in his hand. "Eric..."

"Sookie Stackhouse, I know that in this time I have only known you for a short while, but I feel like I have known you forever. I have been waiting for you for a thousand years and even another thousand years wouldn't be enough time for me to be with you. Will you do me the extreme honor of marrying me?"

I couldn't stop the tears from streaming down my face as I walked over to him and knelt down in front of him. There was really only one thing that I could say to him. "Yes! I love you Eric Northman and I would be proud to be your wife."

His smile grew even bigger as he pulled the emerald cut solitare ring out of the box and slid it on my finger. "Is this how you felt when the knob proposed?"

"Not even close. I ran into the bathroom because I knew deep down he wasn't the one, but I figured that he was my one and only chance to get married."

"You will never have to settle again." He gently took my face in his hands. "We are going to have an amazing life together. I will make sure that you have anything and everything that you could possibly dream of." He pulled me in for a kiss and my mind was filled with flashes of the future. There were so many things that I couldn't wait for and some things that seemed unbelievable, but that I knew were true. I wanted to share everything with Eric, but I decided to wait. It's hard to surprise a thousand year old Viking and some of what I saw was definitely going to surprise him.

He pulled away when he could tell that I needed to breath. We both had huge smiles on our faces. "I love you Eric Northman."

"I love you Sookie soon to be Northman."

"I like the sound of that."

He stood up and lifted me up bridal style. "Soon my love, soon." I wanted to ask him what he meant, but before I could he tossed me gently on the bed. He knelt down next to me and was looking at me like a lion would his prey. "Lover, how attached are you to this gown?"

He had his naughty face on and I had a feeling I knew what he was about to do. "That depends on what you're planning on doing."

"Fuck it, I'll buy you another one." He grabbed the bottom of the gown and ripped it completely off of me. I can't say I was heartbroken as my love started trailing his cool hands over my heated skin. His touch has always inflamed me and this time was no different.

Eric leaned down and gently brushed his lips against mine. "This is all so strange."

"What is?" I reached up and cupped his face in my hands.

"I have all of these memories of us together, yet this is technically our first time together. It's a bit disconcerting."

"It will be alright. I don't want you to think too much about that other life. It didn't turn out so great. We are making new memories and we are going to have the life that we should of had if I had been just a little bit smarter and less naive."

He ran his fingers gently over my face before he spoke words that broke my heart. "I remember what it felt like being on that mountain, how it felt to burn."

"No Eric, don't talk about that."

"I want to. Seeing you there at the end of my long life was like being welcomed to Valhalla by Freya. I wouldn't want to have it any other way."

The tears rolling down my cheeks felt like they would never end. "Please don't talk about that anymore. That life doesn't exist anymore and we just need to focus on this life, this incredible life that we are going to have together."

"I wish..." He trailed off, but I needed to know what he wanted.

"What Eric, what do you wish?"

"I wish that we could have a child. A beautiful girl that looks just like you. I feel like that would make our family complete, but that is never going to happen."

"Never say never Viking." Before he could ask what I meant, I pulled him down and kissed him. I wrapped my legs around his waist and pushed his pants down as far as I could with my feet. "Enough talking. I want, no I need you to make love to me."

"Anything for you my love."

I could feel his lust intensifying, but I knew that this time didn't need to be a rushed frenzy. "Easy Viking. We have a lifetime of lust and passion to look forward to. Tonight we need to show each other how much we love one another."

"Oh Sookie, I think that I've loved you since the night you walked into my bar. The sweet, innocent girl willing toe stand up to vampires to protect her brother. How could I not love you."

"It should have been you. I never should have been with Bill. I should have gone to you first."

"Hey, none of that matters now. We are together and that is all that matters." He slid his hands down my legs and pulled them up around his waist. "No more thinking about the past, all we need to focus on is the future and the amazing life we are going to have." He slowly slid inside of me and for the first time in my life I felt complete, I felt whole. This was where I belonged. I let that feeling wash over me and into Eric until we both started to glow brighter than ever before. "Sookie?"

"It's okay Sweetie, this is what is suppose to happen. This is going to change our lives." I knew that he wanted to know more, but I pulled him down and poured all of my love, desire and passion into him. We spent the rest to the night basking in our love.
