Shoving him, the others remaining quiet save Mage. "What, what happened?!" "What were you thinking?! Well, tell them. AH, why must men be so pigheaded?!" C'rf'l th're my belle. O'e w'ld th'nk y'u w're je'l'us." The group quickly is ushered out of the room by Slym and Grey at this. "Uh oh, you've done it now." Raschell, Slym's and Grey's daughter says. Holding her Uncle Django's hand, "come child."
"Jealous, am I?" She asks, arching her eyebrow. Stepping in her proximity before looking down at her. The distance not giving her much room to move. "Non, t'l me I am w'rg t'n?!" His face, lowering slightly, never breaking eye contact with her. A flash of desire in his eyes. "Well okay, then?!"
Stepping back half a step, "quoi?" "You heard me. You don't have a hearing problem, thief." "B't D'j'o?!" "Oh, you know how much you matter to me, by now, Remy?!" Encouraged by her words, he continues his previous intention. Once more lowering his head, just as he is about to touch her lips; he doubling over, on the floor, in pain. "He really wishes, doesn't he?! You really thought I would stray from Django. I must say I am really disappointed, my friend. A flirt, you may be but lacking intelligence is something I never expected from you." Her back quickly becoming a memory to him.
Punching the man in front of her. "Seriously, why must you be uncouth?! All for a woman. You are going to be the death of us at this rate, Robin!" "Come now, my love. Surely, you haven't forgotten the lengths I took to get your attention. Especially after Amber's death, you had been so adamant that I wasn't over her." "Well, it hadn't even been a year. What was I really have supposed to have thought?!" "Though, she is right, Beau. While we don't begrudge you trying to find happiness; we really wouldn't appreciate having to pay the price by dying."
Just as more sentries begin to surround them, "this is great. Just what we need now, more sentinels! Beau, seriously, we are going to have to start rethinking your leadership skills, if you are going to continue letting your head be turned by this woman. At this rate, we will never make it back home." Side swiping one of them, before turning and hitting another in the solar plexus.
Rolling before doing a handspring, her legs hitting another right under the chin. Before she lets herself turn over, landing back on her feet. Grabbing another's forearm, pulling using their momentum against them; putting all her strength behind her flattened palm, smacking them in their face. Releasing their arm as they go down like a ton of bricks.
Pulling daggers out of her pocket, letting them twirl in the air, before catching the handles. Facing Henryk and The Sheriff the only opponents that are still standing. "Well, this is quite a surprise. Here we were thinking The Hood was our problem. It seems you are the real danger here, girl." The blue smoke encompasses them; quickly taking the opportunity, the group lets the foliage secure their presence once more. "I am ready any time." She says from her vantage point.
"That was amazing! Can you teach us to fight like that?! All we have done until now is rely on our abilities. And against, Henryk of Gisborne, The Sheriff and their army only gets us so far." "You wish to learn, do you?! Well, here is the first lesson. Beau, I challenge you for leadership." Not allowing him an answer, she reaches for his center, trying to use his momentum against him. Having already anticipated her move, he counters it. Immediately, putting her back to his chest, about to bring them to the ground. And wrap his legs around hers.
She wiggles just enough, before stepping on his foot. Ramming her elbow into stomach, before facing him and socking him in the face. Sideswiping her, he towers over her. Putting just enough pressure on her airpipe, "he is going to kill her!" Lex puts his hand out, blocking Mage's path. "But?!" Gabe shakes his head. As Slym and Grey remain quiet.
She starts gagging and wheezing for air as Beau tightens his grip slightly. Just as Django is about to intervene, "don't!" her hoarse voice manages. It quickly becomes nonexistent as he reduces her air completely. Beginning to see, the world swimming before her. He pins her legs and arms. With her last conscious thought, she manages to flip them.
Hitting the ground just hard enough, she breaks from the loosened grip. Both get up. Each having a fighter's stance. Their feet apart and hands out in front of them, clenched in fists. "YOU SON OF A BITCH! YOU WERE TRYING TO KILL ME!" Knowing he is in for it now; he tries to retreat. But it isn't fast enough, as she charges him. His misstep causing him to go down, just as she lunges at him. Her knees distributed evenly on his chest; she begins whaling on him.
Doing his best to retaliate at this point, she places her knees between his legs, pushing them apart. As his head continues to hit the ground underneath him. "My belle, you know I really wouldn't have done such a thing!" Grabbing the sides of his face, she smirks. "And see that it never happens again. And that was your only opportunity of getting the drop on me."
Head butting him, she releases him. As his head once more hits the earth, groaning. Getting up, she almost falls over at which Django catches her. Bennet steps forward, beginning to inspect the purpling fingerprints. Sitting patiently as he does what he can to help her. "What now?!" "We stop messing around. And begin working on how to get back home. That means no more trips, in order to lolly gagging and attempting to romance a certain lady. But for now, we will focus on teaching them more."
"My lady, come away from the window. Sighing, she gets up. "Hadari, do you think he will ever be free?!" "My lady, he is an outlaw." "Yes, but?!" "You do not have to worry about that. A man like that can see well enough. And people like him are the freest, you will ever encounter. They wouldn't let titles or power restrict them." "Perhaps, but do you think he has forgotten me already?" Not bothering to answer, her maiden continues tidying up.
"Do you really have to?! We have accomplished so much." Mage says. "It is time. We couldn't stay here forever. You have finally managed to fix the path for us getting home." The portal in the background continuing to regenerate, exposing machinery in the distance. "What is it like?" "People are able to not hide who they are as much as it is necessary here." "That must be nice, we wish we could see that. We can't go with you?!" The hope reflecting in his team at his (Mage's) words. Shaking her head, "your place is here. We are expecting you to carry where we are leaving off. Henryk of Gisborne and Nottingham are beginning to weaken; giving up now?!"
The tears swimming in his eyes, beginning to slip down. The others sharing his disappointment at this, disheartened. He grips her sleeves, putting his head above her chest. Moving his head slightly, "I will miss you." He gets out, despite it being muffled. "I will miss all of you. We all will." Placing her hands on his back, she pushes him gently away from her.
Not releasing her hands from his forearms, the two stare at each other. "We would stay if we could. But there are people who are still counting on us there. We may never know why we were sent here. But we are glad, we got to meet all of you." Mage nods slowly, looking down; the tears still evident. Changeling and Speedster on either side of him.
Anya, Djano, Lex, Slym, Grey, Sally, Gabe and Raschell around her. The rest of their team in the background. Cupping his face, she puts her thumbs under his eyes; beginning to wipe the tears away. She brings him and his twin to her, hugging them. Anya looking at them wistfully. Before, Anie kisses both of their foreheads.
Her family and team begin moving through the portal. Anya follows them. As she remains, finally stepping back; but before she can turn around to follow. "ANIE! DON'T GO!" Clutching the twins to her, "it will be alright. And don't worry about his reaction; I assure you it is mutual. Just be careful, you don't get caught here."
Facing them as the portal begins to slowly shrink. She smiles as tears begin forming in her eyes. "We have taught you all you need to know. You will be fine. Never give up. Give Henryk of Gisborne and Sheriff Nottingham hell for us. We know you will make us proud." She is gone the next moment as the gateway vanishes.
