Note(s): This is going to be long, so breaking into two, possibly three parts. And will cover The Eternals and the Grecian deities. So going to try to stick more to how their way of life is on Olympia. So, there will be one part that maybe considered inappropriate (if one doesn't have an open mind; and keep how things were in a specific period. It will definitely touch upon a sensitive matter). And since they have long lives, despite an age given and referenced that time has gone by since Kat broke away from her Earth's association, the children are still young many years later. However, a specific time gap isn't given (duration wise, ten or twenty years, etc). And the rating will go up because of what is going to happen.
The sword slams into the wall. Avoiding it their target, the person turns and kicks them in the center; sending them flying through the air. Never relinquishing their hold on their sword. Quickly getting up, "that was very good. You have definitely improved." Placing their weapon back in its sheath, "thank you, Master Ares. Do you think Athena is almost done with her session with Apollo?" "Probably, but you know ever since The Deviants attacked Olympia when you were children; she was the one who has stuck closest to him.
It is good that your parents wanted you to branch out and not just get an education geared under your people's tutelage." "It is indeed fortuitous; being able to learn from different perspectives. Uncle Zuras, Thena, Phastos, Ajax, Gilgamesh, our parents and Sersi first. Our mom might have let Sprite but we don't seem have to any magical aptitudes despite The Phoenix being our matriarch. And know our dad was beyond ecstatic about this. One wouldn't think he could stand Sprite enough. At least, they have paid attention to our strengths and put us under the proper guidance."
"Good. Now to your literary, my sister (Athena) is waiting for you. You can't have the physical side without the strategic as well. And I know Margo isn't into everything my love has been demonstrating." "Well, it is true that my elder sister is more feminine than Athena and I. But she is not into using her feminine wiles for being deceptive." "While that is an admirable thing, sometimes doing so is the only way to get information."
Azura looks at him surprised. "What?! Fighting isn't always violence and physical strength. Being The God of War I get that. And just because it is my specialty doesn't mean I am a mindless brute. Otherwise, I would fail at having this title. My sister (Athena) actually reminded me of this enough. But yes, when it comes to the practicality, I do tend to leave that to her. So maybe, when it comes to this part of gathering information, you and your sister, Athena would be more suited where Margo fails.
And while it does disappoint my love. We also commend her for sticking to her conviction. Besides, she has become very good friends with Psyche, Eros Cupid and Hedone. Aphrodite is grateful. My "dear child" hasn't had enough friends; given how hated his title makes him almost all the time. And if she didn't know your sister and parents so well already, she would have punished her like she had Psyche.
When your parents were getting married, Venus knew that how much they loved and were committed to each other didn't need any help from her. But still she made sure they were rewarded for how much they were valuing the sanctity of love. It has been extremely rare for her to see two people so devoted to each other. She had an epitaph more or less that at least one of you would rival her in beauty. And unlike Psyche and Helen, this is the only thing that has saved her from my love's wrath. None of you were raised to be arrogant and haughty to the point of foolishness. And Margo has kept her humility despite her grace, innocence and beauty. The rest of you are freer when it comes to these attributes. Not even sleeping with Hephaestus could rouse Aphrodite's jealously. But Margo has too much integrity to do such a thing."
"Consider these your final tests." Continuing to apply rouge on her pupil's face. "I have taught almost every trick in the book. Stopping short of the physical aspects. But you know how to manipulate and conquer men with simple touches and looks." "But what if I don't wish to?! I have learned enough, that you could just be trapping me; especially when she finds out. I really don't wish to incur her wrath." "Don't worry, Margo Rachel Pryce. Even if she wanted to get revenge, Hera wouldn't dare; she knows what your parents are capable and would do is she tried."
"Still, I…" "Very well, if you don't wish to. Then I will see how well your sisters will fare. And since they have been taken my knowledge sporadically; there is no need to try to sacrifice yourself for them. But I will be disappointed. I know so my tutelage doesn't go completely to waste I will find another alternative." Hermes stands in the doorway, "ladies, I apologize. But our father wishes to see you, sister."
"It is coming. And so, I have decided to send him away when the time comes. I know you will be happy about that. I do need our blacksmith to be kept safe. However, Ares, Artemis and Athena will be sent there as well. If you talk to The Pryce's parents, they might let them go, for the experience. And I know that isn't your scene, but if you are kept faraway from it. You can also teach Azura and Athena Pryce like you are hoping. Your family can join you is you wish, my daughter."
Walking down the hallway, the female on the cusp of womanhood like her sisters. She happens upon an open door. The movement attracts her attention. She walks in. Before she can speak, he hits the ground in front of her. Unable to get up due to his lameness, the others there begin laughing. Running the remaining distance, she stands by his side; facing the others. "STOP IT! WHY ARE YOU LAGUHING AT HIM?!"
Grabbing the edge of her dress, she bends down. Kneeling next to him, she holds her hand out for him to see. A smile on her face. "Hephaestus, are you okay?" The arrival of her family has the Grecian deities pulling back on their current sport. Her parents remain watching in the background; as their other children rush forward to help her. Each knowing given their statures they aren't strong or old enough yet to help him alone. Doing their best, he is able to stand up right, using most of his body for support as he pushes up.
Looking down at her, he sees the woman she will become. "Thank you, Margo Pryce. Father, now if you could tell me what you wished." "Yes,…" Holding her arms out for them, "Constantine, Margo, Jaycen, Zuras, Athena and Azura come; this clearly doesn't involve us."
"Oh, but Kathleen Pryce and Ikaris of The Eternals this is where you were wrong. If you would, we are hoping to continue their training more practically. We are even hoping to have Athena Robin and Azura Olympia to accompany Venus, Eros Cupid, Psyche and Hedone, for tutelage; since they are close to being Margo's age. They of course will be kept away from where the battlefield will be. And Constantine Ajax, Jaycen Icarus and Zuras Adam can learn from Ares, Athena and Artemis as well?!"
"Zeus, we appreciate this. But Jaycen is barely six and ten. While we have trained them to be fighters, to defend themselves already. An actual battlefield is another thing altogether." "Aikaterine, what if you go with them?" "But you know I swore to not to get involved ever since. And you promised as much as well?!"
"But we wouldn't be going so much for them; but our children. Besides, those heroes have long been gone and forgotten. We didn't have them taught to this point, to simply deny them for our own selfhishness." "If it helps, Kathleen Pryce, it won't be for months yet. I going to have Hephaestus prepare first."
She walks in just as sparks fly from the sword as it is in the process of being molded. As he hits it again, before placing it in water. The steam rising up slightly. "This is no place for a child such as you, Margo Rachel Pryce. I know that you are being trained by my wife. This is the only courtesy I will give after how you helped me; but I will not be patronized or mocked." "I am not here to do any of those things, Hephaestus Blacksmith."
She sits on the stool closest to him. "I know growing up, our paths haven't exactly crossed. But I wish they had. It must have been sad and lonely with no one being there for you. I would very much like to be your friend if you will?! I understand that your trust is maligned. But unlike your wife's instruction, my parents have taught me that there is beauty in everything. One just has to look hard enough." Grabbing another sword to meld, he ponders this unusual and unexpected kindness.
