Chapter 12: Big News
Niko closed up the bar, Roman had already left for the night. He had cleaned up and stacked chairs on the tables, afterwards he locked up and left. Niko drove uptown towards Holland, where he lived. The radio was playing "Tush" by ZZ Top on Liberty Rock Radio, he turned it down as his phone rang. "Hello?" Niko asked into the phone. "Niko, it's Kiki. I'm here at your apartment, are you on your way back?" Kiki asked into the phone. "Yes, I'm almost there." Niko replied. "Good, I got something to tell you." Kiki told Niko. "I'll see you when I get there, you're not in danger are you?" Niko asked Kiki. "No, nothing like that. It's a surprise." Kiki replied. "Okay, I'm almost there. I'll talk to you when I get there, baby." Niko told Kiki before hanging up the phone. Niko continued to drive, he reached his parking space and parked his Infernus.
Niko walked off the elevator into his penthouse, Kiki stood there in a purple dress that was very short with spaghetti straps. She walked up to Niko and kissed him, he returned the favor and hugged her while they kissed. "Welcome home." She told him. "Thanks." Niko replied in a confused tone. "So, what's the surprise you had to tell me?" Niko asked Kiki. Kiki walked over to her purse, she reached in and pulled out the pregnancy test. She showed it to Niko, who was confused. "What does this mean?" He asked her. "You're going to be a daddy!" Kiki replied excitingly. "What!?" Niko replied in a surprised, but happy tone. "Yes! We're going to have a baby!" Kiki replied. Niko grabbed Kiki and picked her up, he kissed her while he swung her around one time. Kiki squealed in excitement. "Kiki, in light of this. Do you want to move in with me?" Niko asked her. "Yes, I'll start packing tomorrow." Kiki replied. She and Niko made love to celebrate their conception.
The next morning, Kiki got dressed in her pantsuit and white blouse and left the penthouse. She drove to Downtown Algonquin, where her office was. She walked in the building and saw Johnny sitting on a sofa that furnished the room. "Mr. Klebitz, follow me." Kiki told Johnny. The biker stood up and followed Kiki into her office, it wasn't anything fancy. The desk was a basic office desk made of cheap plywood, she had her wall decorated with portraits and her certificates hung on the wall behind her desk. "So, how am I going to get out of this?" Johnny asked her. "I don't know, the evidence against you is very strong." Kiki replied. "That's what that fucking public defender told me!" Johnny yelled while standing up. "I'm fucked." Johnny told Kiki. "Now, hold on. The van incident they can't prove was you. What they really got you on was storming that prison and massacring everyone in your path. I'd say the best I can do is plea guilty for a lesser sentence." Kiki explained. "There isn't a death penalty in Liberty City, or Alderney. Okay, just keep me out of holding long enough to get my gang together. I'll take the plea deal, but I ain't rolling over on anyone." Johnny told Kiki before walking out.
Afterwards
Johnny rolled up to the site where the old clubhouse was, the MC were rebuilding the structure. "Hey, Johnny. They let you out?" Terry asked. "Damn right, they can't keep down The Lost." Johnny replied. Angus rolled up to Johnny, he handed him a piece of paper. Johnny unfolded the paper and looked at it. It was a list of bikes, Johnny looked at the list then at Angus. "I got a guy overseas who will pay a shit ton for these bikes. It should help you with your lawyer fees." Angus told Johnny. "Okay brother. I'll go get started, where do I find them?" Johnny asked Angus. "The Hellfury is parked in front of a penthouse in Northwood, should be easy enough to find." Angus replied. "Okay, I'll go get it." Johnny told Angus before mounting his bike and riding off.
