Theo feels the covers pulled off him. He tries to ignore it. Although, ignoring Liam has never been easy. Maybe if he pretends to be asleep, he will go away.

"Theo, I know your awake. We got to get going. It is like 3 hours away. Remember? Today is the day." Liam says.

"Maybe we can try again tomorrow?" Theo offers.

"No. You said that the last 3 days. We have to go today." Liam argues.

Theo growls.

Liam normally is pushy, but he has decided to push this issue more than other things. He should probably feel appreciative over Liam's need to help him, but he does not. At least not today. He feels like a little kid meeting someone for the first time. It feels strange and confusing. Maybe he can back out? He does not want to assume he is going to be rejected, but let's be honest, it has been years. That does not seem to signal that the person wants to see him.

He smells coffee and pushes the covers off himself. He sees Liam holding a cup and a bag. Bribery. He grumbles but gets out of bed. He quickly gets dressed and finishes his coffee. He ignores the watchful look of Liam. He follows him around like Theo is going to leave the house without him. After the 8th time of running into Liam, he loses it.

"WILL YOU PLEASE REALAX. YOU'RE MAKING ME NERVOUS." Theo yells.

Liam's eyes display confusion.

He knows Liam is always trying to help, but sometimes he goes way too overboard. Like today. Liam looks sad and sighs. He would normally be unfeeling towards that, but when Liam is sad, his wolf feels off too. It is really annoying.

"I just need a few minutes." Theo says.

Liam nods and goes into the kitchen. He feels his phone go off.

Corey: Do you want me to come? Not to say Liam should not be there but come on. :D

Theo: It if fine. I already yelled at him once. I think we are okay.

Corey: OK. LOOK AT YOU. ALL GROWN UP.

Theo: I hate you.

Theo tries to remember why he is even doing this. Why is he doing this? Oh, right something about healing and acceptance . He cannot remember because Liam has mentioned it 86,000 times and he loses track of what it is their doing.

"Be careful." Jenna says.

Liam heads outside to the truck with him. He wants to tell her that he has murdered people and almost killed the entire pack, so really being careful is not an issue. He is surprised Liam is even allowed to come out with him, but Jenna seems to think that he is a normal person. He is not a normal person and never was. However, she is hard to explain that to. She just voices her opinion of people changing and then goes off into Liam and his changes with his IED.

He sits in the truck and contemplates going back inside. He looks over at Liam. Liam looks hopeful. He isn't sure why this is so important to him, but it is. He ignores the vibration in his pocket and reverses down the driveway. Maybe no one will be home.

They drive in silence and Liam keeps glancing over at him every three seconds. Liam likes to talk when he is nervous so this must be killing him inside. He does not like to talk. He actually prefers the silence. Maybe he should go back to silence and forget this whole thing. He is tempted but Liam keeps looking at him with that face.

He sighs.

"Do you need a pep talk?" Liam asks.

"No." Theo grumbles.

"OK, well if you did then I would say just take things slow. Everything is going to be fine. I am here and will wait in the truck if you need me. Also, we do not want to assume people's intentions or feelings before we talk to them." Liam says.

"What are you a fucken life coach?" Theo sneers.

Liam smiles and looks out the window.

They get there faster than expected because he travels faster than normal. He has to get this over with and soon. The sooner the better. Then Liam can leave him alone and maybe then he can have peace. Or maybe not. Maybe he will have to leave town. He tries to control his heartbeat. This was a mistake. Why wouldn't they call her first?

"Do you need hug again?" Liam asks.

"No. Just go away." Theo snarls.

He tries to decide if he can start the truck and pull away without Liam reacting, but he sees someone walk outside. He is parked out front, so he assumes he may look like some stalker. He can do this. He killed people, right? This is easier. He gets out of the truck and walks over to the house.

He sees the person out front is a little kid. He looks only about 5 or 6 years of age and he observes him.

"Hi." The little boy says.

He turns around and looks at the truck. Liam is looking back at him.

"Hi. Um, are your parents here?" He asks.

The little boy nods and runs up to the front door. He runs inside. He walks up to the porch and waits. He is not sure what he is waiting for. Maybe he has the wrong house. Maybe or maybe not. He did not think there were kids. He sees the door openly slowly. Standing in front of him is a woman who he vaguely remembers. She looks at him, waiting for him to say something.

"Uh..I am here about your son." He says slowly.

She looks at the little boy.

"Not him. Your other son." He says.

The woman ushers her son inside and walks out onto the porch. She looks around and looks like she is contemplating what to say. He decides to wait for her to respond.

"Look, I don't know what brought you here, but my son and my other family I do not discuss anymore. My family does not know about them. I assume you're here because you found him and have some duty to tell me?" She asks.

He tries to consider his options. He is not sure what he is feeling right now. He actually feels nothing for once. Maybe that is the adrenaline or maybe that is the relief of being proven right.

"Um, yes. He is dead though. I was his friend. He died in some weird incident in Beacon Hills." He lies.

"That is unfortunate, however they do say that those who are evil get what is coming to them? You know?" She asks.

He hears something break inside his truck.

"True, but for what it is worth, he did regret everything in the end. He meant to find you, but he did not find you in time. I just wanted you to know. " He says.

"Thank you for telling me. I hope you understand that I cannot let you inside. I appreciate you coming here though." His mother says.

He nods and goes down the stairs.

He feels okay. This is fine. It is what he thought but not terrible. At least she did not throw him out or anything. She has a kid. This looks like a nice house. Maybe she ended up getting what she wanted.

He gets inside the truck.

"Does she know you were taken by dread doctors?" Liam asks.

"Liam." He says.

"No, really. Does she know that? I feel like that will make a huge difference if she knows that. I mean it is not you killed your sister and ran off living a life of crime. You were molded by mad scientists. You were a child. You did not even say who you were. How do you know how she would have responded?" Liam asks.

"I.." He tries to say.

"I think this really is not okay. I feel we should tell her who you are and what happened. She does not know about the supernatural right? That would make an enormous difference Theo. I think we need to go back up there and…."

"SHUT UP DUNBAR!" He yells.

He throws his phone at the dashboard and it shatters. Not that it matters really. Who is he going to call?

He drives off quickly to avoid anyone noticing his outburst in the neighborhood. He continues driving down the highway. He has to drop Liam off first. He tries to ignore what is happening. He isn't sure what is happening though. He feels nothing. He was mad but only because Liam kept talking as he always does. He never gives anything a rest. Ever.

Liam looks sad and confused again. He normally is like this. He cannot believe he actually thought that Liam would get that he didn't want to come here in the first place. He knew this would not go well and he did not listen. He never listens. No one listens.

"Do you want me to drive?" Liam asks.

"I want you to shut up." Theo growls.

They do not say anything for a long time. He debates on not saying anything at all but knowing Liam, he would just pry it out of him anyway.

"I told you I didn't want to do this. I told you that. You never listen. This is my life. You cannot just make decisions for me." Theo says.

"I didn't. I told you it would be a good idea, but you agreed. I am sorry." Liam says, sounding like a scolded puppy.

"I told you why I didn't want to be here. This is fucken why. I told you it would go this way, or some version of this way." He snarls.

"You didn't even explain the story. How can she make informed decisions when she doesn't know what even happened?" Liam argues.

"I want you out of my life. This was a huge mistake. I am not surprised really. You and Scott have a habit of helping people that do not want your help. Stiles stalks people until he gets what he wants. That is where you learned it from." Theo seethes.

"I understand your upset, so I am going to ignore those insults." Liam says.

Theo picks up the coyote and throws it out the window. Liam glares at him and takes his wolf that he has conveniently put on Theo's dashboard, and throws it out his window.

"I can throw things too." Liam says.

Theo drives Liam back to his house in silence after that. He stops in the driveway. He waits for Liam to get out. He looks over at Theo and frowns.

"Your phone is dead. How am I supposed to contact you?" Liam asks.

"I don't want you to contact me. Have you not figured this out yet? Just go away." Theo sneers.

"Ok, but please be careful. I just want you to know that…" Liam tries to say.

He knows what is coming and he does not want to hear it. He does not need to hear it. He shoves Liam out of the passenger side door and takes off.

He is not sure where he is driving too. He still feels nothing still, but he is angry that Liam has the audacity to actually assume that he could still contact him. The nerve of him. He parks his truck in a little park.

He knows if he goes to the preserve someone may find him. He sits there. He feels like he is falling and cannot get out. He thinks he may be sinking into a blackhole. This is Liam's fault. He told him this would happen. Now he has to sit here determining how to go back to how he was before. He is not even sure he can do that. He is not someone who cries. He is not. So, he is not crying now.

He roars and hits the dashboard. His wolf feels like it is about to lose its mind. He feels like he may lose his mind. Maybe he is better off alone and not alive. His mother seemed to think so. He could make that happen. If he tries. He really could. He looks around. Maybe he can go back to the river. He is not crying.

He hears a tapping.

"Hey, dumbass open the door." He hears a familiar voice say.

He growls. He sees them hold up a bag with ice cream. Are they serious? He locks the doors.

"I am not going away." They say.

"How did you find me?" He asks.

"I put a tracking device on your truck. I did with everyone's cars. So do not assume you are special." He smiles.

He opens the door to see Corey standing there with Stiles.

"I am not staying. This is in the friendship territory and that is not me. However, someone believes you are a friend. Surprise." Stiles grumbles and stalks off.

Corey goes around to the passenger side and gets in.

"Are we 12?" Theo seethes holding up the bag.

"Well, some argue that I am still a child at heart. It helped me with my parents. When I first moved out." Corey explains.

"You really had to call him to find the truck?" He asks.

"I was really worried, and Liam called me in a panic." Corey says.

"It is stupid. It is all stupid." He sneers.

"Yes. I know." Corey says.

The nice thing about Corey is that he does not talk like Liam all the time. He can sit in silence. Mason is the chatty one. It makes sense that Liam and Mason get along so well. However, he wonders how either one of them can stand the other one talking over each other.

"I don't want a hug." Theo says.

"Duh." Corey says.

They sit there for a while. He wonders if Jenna is going to be mad, he left his stuff at the house and did not say goodbye. He can see Liam pacing the floor wondering where he is. He wonders why he cares anyway.

"Is there something wrong with me?" He finally asks.

"Clearly. You let Liam go today instead of me." Corey says.

He is not crying. He is not. He feels Corey pat his shoulder.

He still feels nothing but maybe he also feels sad. Sad about what was and what will never be. Sad that he messed things up so much that he cannot even have a normal conversation with his mother. He could have said it was him, but why? What does it matter? He still killed Tara and he still is Theo. He cannot change that.

"I think that you should stay with me for a while. I think you just need some space." Corey says.

"I was actually going to head out." Theo says.

"Nope. Sorry cannot do that. Who the hell would I hang with then? Liam is around only when Mason is. Nolan is okay but I mean come on. His nervousness can only be dealt with in small increments." Corey says.

He glares at him. He never told Corey he was his friend. Quite the opposite actually.

"I told Liam to lay low for a while. Mason will talk to him." Corey says.

"I didn't mean to throw his gift." He says.

"Yeah. Do not worry about that. Liam made Mason go back to find it. I am not sure if they did though. Cold man, but there is nothing wrong with you. I would know. I am a genetically modified supernatural being." Corey says.

"You're really annoying when you talk." Theo says.

"You are a real ray of sunshine and dreams." Corey smiles.

Theo sighs.

He looks at Corey. He puts the key in the ignition and drives back to the Hewitt's. He does not see Liam waiting there. He wonders if the hollow feeling he feels is because he is sad about his mother, or sad that Liam is not waiting there.

He hears Corey on the phone arguing.

"You are not coming over...What are you even saying...Yes... that was my plan all along to steal Theo...Dude, please." Corey says.

Theo hears a sad roar in the distance.
