Thank you to my lovely beta 3Enjoy!

Remus always loved drawing. He loved the effort he put into his sketches of ordinary things like vases, bookshelves, flowers. Basically, anything in his boring, old and small flat. Sometimes, when he was really bored, Remus would walk to the small park near his home. He would sit on one of the benches hidden by the big trees and bushes and draw whatever caught his eye.

But lately, the main theme of his sketches was the beautiful Nymphadora Tonks.

Remus was certain that by now, he was completely and fully in love with the bright Auror. Bright would be the perfect way to describe Nymphadora's, or Dora's (because she despised her full name and Remus couldn't bring himself to call her something basic like Tonks when she was the polar opposite) hair was a kaleidoscope of colours. Dark red, bright orange, pastel blue, neon green (a colour Remus still couldn't figure out how bright she managed to make) and most often, bubblegum pink was one of the main reasons Remus decided to strain his savings for a box of coloured pencils. It'd be a pity to depict Dora in dull tones of grey when she was anything but. Her clothes were another reason for the purchase. Remus was sure Dora owned every singleWeird Sistersshirt; from the thin straps to the long sleeves. From white to lavender to blue to the ugly mustard yellow he hated, (although no matter how ugly that colour was to him, he decided nothing will ever be ugly if she wore it).

He carried his sketchbook everywhere with him. Remus feared he would suddenly get inspiration for another drawing and have nowhere to draw it. One time it did happen while he was on the tube. He was so desperate to draw Dora that he ended up doing the drawing on his wrist. It was an impulsive decision, but it's not like Remus regretted it – he had a sketch of Dora with him for the next few days.

So, as the world was beginning to get darker and darker, Remus was glad he had this one thing – this one person- that keeps reminding him of all the colours and the beauty that is still left in that world. His already dark and grey world. You could say Dora is the colour in his grey world. He knew that as long as he keeps her close to him, everything will be alright in the end. Because, after all, the rainbow comes after the storm.
