"Are you stalling?" Liam asks.

"NO." He says.

"Ok, because I have been waiting for you for over an hour and all your doing is cleaning your room. AGAIN." Liam smiles.

He is not stalling. He was ambushed last night by Little Wolf's idea to go see his father. He was told he is going and now he might new a few minutes to leave the house. He has to make sure it is clean and neat. He is not even sure why they are going anyway. Theo thought he was clear on not wanting to go see his father right now, but as always Liam had other plans. He cannot argue with Liam about it because he almost died yesterday. He would probably let Liam do whatever he wanted today. He really has gone soft. Soft for a blue-eyed werewolf. He looks at Liam who smiles back softly at him. His smile forming slightly in the way he likes to tease him.

"I am coming. I do not like things untidy." Theo argues.

"It is going to be okay." Liam says.

"I didn't say it wasn't." He says.

"Ok, good. Let's go." Liam says, pulling him out the door.

Liam decided he was driving. He decided over breakfast. He seems to believe that Theo will cause a scene again like before. He calmly said he would drive and stole Theo's keys. Theo did not argue because he doesn't feel like he can argue anymore with Liam. He sinks down into the passenger seat and listens to his own heartbeat. It is so loud to his ears; he cannot focus on anything but the noise around him. Everything feels amplified. He hears the sound of the tires, Liam's breathing, but none of it compares to his heart. It sounds to him like it is going to come out of his chest. The soft thud hitting hits his eardrums and he swallows. A dry lump forms in his throat.

"Do you want me to sing to you to calm your nerves?" Liam teases.

"Please don't." He shakes his head, giving his best look of horror to Liam.

"I can and I am an amazing singer. I don't know what that face was." Liam says.

"I don't want you to sing." Theo says.

Liam takes his hand and looks over at him. His scent reeks of concern and Theo hates that. He is not afraid to go see his father. He just is not sure what he is going to say. They were never close and up until recently he assumed that he did not even want to find him. Now Theo is going to show up. He should have called first. Why didn't he call? He should have but he chickened out. He tries to slowly breath through his nose.

"Do you want me to wait in the truck again?" Liam asks.

"No, but you're lucky that you're even driving." He says.

"I will keep that in mind." Liam says.

The ride takes entirely too long. He watches trees and houses pass by. His dad is in Beacon Hills right now, but the drive feels too long. He feels like he is at the end of something. Something Theo is not sure he wants to let go of. Liam turns on the radio and starts to sing softly. He smiles at Theo and does his best to distract him.

"You know I had to keep everyone from coming. Corey and Mason tried to say they would hide in the truck." Liam says.

"Why is everyone so interested in my family?" He complains.

"We want to support you. That is what friends do. You're such a moron." Liam smiles.

"I am not the one who doesn't know how to use the laundry machine." He smiles back.

"Look, it is not as easy as you would think. My mother has the high-tech machines." Liam argues.

"Is your mom getting sad you are leaving?" He asks.

"Yes, but she claims she will be okay because one of her sons will still be nearby. UCLA is not that far." Liam explains.

"Sons?" He asks.

"Yes, why is it so hard to understand that my family considers you apart of our household? You are family to them." Liam points out.

"I don't know. I have never been apart of anything. Other than the dread doctors plan, but I was more of a science project for them." He admits.

Liam's eyes soften. He runs his fingers over Theo's knuckles and parks the truck. Theo looks around. He did not realize they made it already. Liam has a habit of distracting him. He looks over at the apartment building and swallows. His mouth is dry and he feels lightheaded. He has never fainted before, but there is a first time for everything. He slowly gets out of the truck. He looks over to his right and Liam is at his side immediately. Liam's energy never fails. His eyes are wide and filled with excitement. At least one of them is excited. Theo wants to go crawl under a blanket somewhere. A hand finds his and pulls him up to the door.

Liam looks over at him and waits. Theo was hoping he would knock for him, but he probably should do this himself. He stares at the door. Memories flash through his mind of being in his childhood home. His father working and not paying him much attention. He does not even remember being grounded ever. His family never really bothered with him. Why is he bothering now? He looks back at Liam. He is waiting for him still.

"If you want to leave, we can." Liam says.

"I thought you wanted me to do this?" He asks slightly surprised.

"I do, but not if you're going to be upset. I felt really bad about pushing you to see your mother." Liam says, his blue eyes resembling a sad puppy.

"Ok." Theo says, and knocks on the door before he can think about it.

The doorknob turns and his heart speeds up. The door opens slightly, and a man stands there eyeing them wearily. He looks nervous and his eyes are sunken in. Life looks like it hit him hard, but he did lose both of his kids. The man looks back and forth between them. His eyes fall on Liam, and he frowns. Liam looks at Theo. The man looks back at Theo and raises his eyebrows slightly.

"Can I help you?" The man asks.

"I am…Theo?" Theo says unsure of himself.

"I thought you were dead. That is what they told me." The man says, eyes starting to widen.

"It is a really long story." He admits.

"I have been waiting a really long to time to hear it." The man says, opening the door wide.

Theo stands there staring at him. He did not think he would get this far. Liam pushes him inside. Theo finds himself explaining what happened with only minor interruptions from Liam. His dad listens and nods a lot. He does not know if that is a good sign or if that means he is being polite. He asks about the supernatural and handles it well, but Scott had previously mentioned he was already aware of the supernatural in Beacon Hills. Theo feels like he has been talking for hours, and mentally he is drained from explaining everything. He did not think his life would take this much explanation. He finally sighs in relief once he finishes his story.

"Is your friend a supernatural creature?" His dad asks.

"Yes." Liam says.

"Sorry, what is your name?" His dad asks.

"Oh, this is my…uh…Liam." Theo says slowly.

"Hello, Liam." His dad smiles.

"Hi. I am really glad I didn't have to wolf out on you." Liam says.

"Liam." Theo frowns.

"No, I don't mean I would do anything, but Theo means a lot to me. I just wanted to make sure that he means a lot to you too." Liam says.

His dad and Liam stare at each other, both not looking away and studying each other. Liam sits up straighter and lifts his chin higher.

Theo sinks down in his chair. There goes Little Alpha again. He feels his cheeks heat up and his dad smiles. Liam seems to relax and smiles back. They seem to come to some silent understanding. Liam reaches towards Theo and takes his hand. This is getting too intense for Theo. He stands up and places his chair back at the kitchen table.

"We have to head back." Theo says.

His dad stands up and follows them to the door. Theo does not know what to say. It went surprisingly well, but he is not ready to go on family vacations or anything. He holds out his hand, and his father shakes it. He shakes Liam's hand and quickly writes down something on a notepad.

"This is my cell. We should go to lunch or dinner sometime. You can bring him too." His dad nods towards Liam.

He takes the paper and puts it in his pocket. He stands their trying to find the words to say, but his mind is blank. He feels Liam's hand touch his shoulder and Liam steps forward.

"Thanks for having us." Liam says.

"Of course. Anytime." His dad says.

Theo nods and walks out the door, with Liam following after him. He gets in the passenger seat and tries to determine what he is feeling. He is not sad, but he is not happy. He feels satisfied almost. Maybe he does not really need his past anymore and it feels like a weight has been lifted. He stares thoughtfully out the window. Maybe he will call him. Someday. Right now, he is okay with seeing him once and not having him react the same way his mother did. He feels Liam's eyes on him. He turns and looks at him.

"He isn't anything like you." Liam says.

"Is that an insult?" He frowns.

"No. I just mean he seems kinder than you and he seems to be a lot more relaxed." Liam points out.

"What…" Theo growls and glares at him.

Liam is smiling and his eyes are shining. His blue eyes laughing at him. Theo shakes his head. He puts on his seatbelt and Liam pulls out of the apartment complex.

"Are you happy you did this?" Liam asks.

"I think so. I do not feel like I need to call him necessarily, but I might call him. I do not know if I am the same person that I was before the dread doctors, but I do not think he is the same person either. My dad and I were never very close. I did not think he would even look for me. I think telling my past to him helped me to process it more. I do not know. I kind of feel like I have what I need already." He explains.

"I think that is the first time you shared more than two words out loud with me about your family and your past." Liam says.

"That is all your pack does. Shares their feelings." He sneers.

Liam chuckles.

"My mother said to call her when we are done here. She wanted to make sure it went okay." Liam explains.

"Your mother is very involved." Theo says.

"I know." Liam says.

"I never had that." He admits.

Liam's eyes soften again, and he reaches into his pocket. He pulls out a little wooden wolf and hands it to him. He turns it over in his hand and studies the etching in the wood. The wolf is howling, and his eyes are raised towards the sky. Theo never really liked full moons before. Not until he became a chimera. He used to be afraid of the dark when he was younger, but he became used to it when he had to sleep in his truck. He was able to block the memories of being left alone in the dark when the dread doctors went on their missions to find more experiments.

"Isn't this yours?" Theo asks.

"It was, but I think you get to have it now. I think you are not in the same place as you were when you moved in. You graduated into a full wolf. Figuratively speaking." Liam smiles.

"Do you think Boston has any nice places?" He asks.

"You are not dropping out of college. I will visit and you can visit me. Plus, I have to visit Mason anyway. Every week per his guidelines." Liam rolls his eyes.

"Every week? You are going to fly down every weekend from Boston? " Theo asks, doubtfully.

"Of course. You are there. That is the only reason I need." Liam says.

"I am telling Mason you said that." He says.

"I will deny it." Liam says.

Theo knows Liam is not going to come down every weekend. The money and time would be too much, but he knows it is important that Liam thinks he will. He will see him on Holidays and during breaks. Liam wants to see him and that is all that matters, but people lose touch sometimes. That is not what Theo wants but he will take anything he can get. Even if he sees Liam once a year, that would be okay if he gets to see Little Wolf. He does not expect him to be there forever, but he enjoys having him around.

They get back to the Geyer's quickly and Theo decides he will talk to Jenna after she gets home from work. She will have thousands of questions because Liam is a lot like her, minus the supernatural. He sends her a quick text to let her know.

"I want to nap. Can we nap?" Liam asks.

"Ok, but do you need me to nap?" He asks.

"No, but I sleep better with you near me." Liam frowns.

"Okay, Little Alpha. We can nap." Theo says.

He follows Liam up the stairs and gets into bed beside him. Liam looks wide awake for someone who wants to nap. He watches while Liam looks up at the ceiling and frowns. His forehead crinkling and his body shifting around under the covers. He sighs a few times and turns over.

"Are you okay?" Theo asks.

"Yes. I wish I was not going to Boston." Liam says.

"Oh." He says.

Liam turns around and glares at him. His eyes flashing from blue to yellow.

"Oh? That is all you can say?" Liam growls.

"I don't know what you want me to say. You picked Boston. It is a good place to go to school and a good lacrosse program. I am sure Mason will report everything I am doing back to you. It isn't like you will never see me again." He points out.

"I am afraid once you go away to school that you will not come back." Liam says.

"Why?" He asks.

"You don't stick around a lot. What if you make new friends or find that you want something different? I think I love you more than you like me." Liam says.

Theo's chest aches at Liam's words. He never meant to make Liam feel insecure about him going away to college. He barely knows his own feelings. Liam's eyes start to look hurt, and he turns away. Theo reaches out and touches his shoulder. Liam turns back towards him.

"It isn't that you love me more than I like you. I assumed that you would not be able to come to UCLA all the time. No matter what you say about coming back and forth every week, that is not feasible. I am preparing myself for not being around you." He explains, a knot forming in his throat.

"I can drop out?" Liam offers.

"You are not dropping out. Besides what if you…" He stops himself before he says too much.

"What?" Liam asks.

"Nothing." Theo says.

"THEO." Liam frowns.

"What if you find someone else? Like, you decide you like someone else. Like a girl." He says.

Liam sits up and pulls Theo up in bed to sit next to him. He feels like an idiot, and he sounds really insecure. He knows Liam means what he says, but he cannot help but wonder if Liam will find someone else to distract him while he is away. Things happen all the time with people moving away from each other. Theo is no stranger to people walking out of his life. He is not friends with Stiles and Scott anymore. His mother left and it is only matter of time before others decide to move on.

"Um, I think me biting you kind of cements me being around." Liam says.

Theo sighs.

Liam touches his cheek and tilts his head at him.

"Is this why you have been so weary of everything? You think I am going to move on to something new?" Liam asks.

"Not on purpose." Theo admits.

"Theo, I would never do that. I am not your mother obviously, and I cannot stand any minute that I am not around you. A girl won't change that." Liam says softly.

"I think your wrong." He says.

"About?" Liam asks.

"I think I feel the same about you, as you do for me." He says.

"Well, we can talk about how we are going to see each other later." Liam says.

"You are not coming up every week." He says.

Liam smiles and leans in, kissing him softly. He runs his tongue along his bottom lip, and Theo opens his mouth slightly. He shivers as Liam kisses him, trailing his tongue along his. Liam slides his hand up Theo's shirt and pushes him back on the bed. Fingertips run over him gently and he sighs. He trembles slightly in anticipation and nervousness. Soft kisses make their way along Theo's neck and chest.

Liam whispers his name softly, hands moving up his waist. He sighs softly, as Liam kisses down his chest. Theo half dazed from Liam and his touches, feels his fangs descend. Liam stops and waits for permission. Theo stares at him and silently signals for him to continue. Liam slides everything off and Theo squeezes the mattress. He arches into Liam's touch and sighs as Liam gently takes him over the edge with him. This is the most vulnerable he has been with Liam, and Theo does not even notice his fangs bite down into Liam. His mind is at peace.
