Thank so much for reading. I don't normally write from Theo's perspective because I relate to him very well and it's too close to home, but this has been really fun to write. It was different and made me explore more ideas with writing. Hope you like the conclusion.

I did add some mature themes towards the end.

Chapter Text

"Who is this?" Liam growls.

"Hi, I am Nick." Nick holds out his hand to Liam.

Liam stares at Nick's hand and looks back at Theo. He is silent and keeps looking at him, waiting for a response. Nick puts his hand down after a few moments and puts his hands in his pockets. Nick looks back at Theo waiting for his answer.

"This is Nick. Nick this is Liam." He introduces them.

"Oh Liam. I heard a lot about you." Nick smiles.

"I heard nothing about you." Liam scowls.

"LIAM." He warns.

This is not the way he thought Liam meeting Nick would go. He can feel the tension in the room, and it causes him to feel as if he is suffocating. He vaguely remembers telling Liam about Nick, but he never gave a name. Now it looks like he is hiding things and that is not what his intentions were at all. He looks at Nick who shifts back and forth uneasily on his feet. His hands are still in his pocket, and he looks nervous. Liam is still glaring at him.

"Nick, can I have a moment with Liam?" He asks.

"Of course. I will check on our food." Nick says.

Nick slides by Liam and walks out the door. Liam slowly makes his way up the stairs and stops when he reaches the top. His blue eyes widen, and he looks like a dejected puppy. Theo's phone vibrates in his pocket, but he can only focus on Liam. Neither one of them say a word. They only stare at each other waiting for the other one to say something.

"Are you going to come in?" He finally asks.

Liam nods and Theo leads him into the apartment. Liam looks around the apartment and at the boxes laid out on the floor. He walks around staring at the pictures on the wall. Theo has started allowing people to take pictures with him in it. Mason claims that he had blank walls and it made him sad. When he finally agreed to allow pictures on the wall, Corey and Mason went crazy. There are multiple pictures of Corey, Mason, Nolan, and him throughout the apartment. A few of Nick and one of Liam. He does not have any pictures of him and Liam, but Corey hung up a senior picture of Little Wolf in the living room.

"Are all of these from college?" Liam asks quietly.

"Yes, other than the one of you." He explains.

"I missed a lot, didn't I?" Liam asks.

Liam's voice sounds broken and quiet. He is used to having Liam being very bold and confident with his words. Pretty much in everything that he does. It sounds and feels wrong. He almost feels as if he did something wrong, but he only was living his life. Liam was living his life too, but now that Liam is standing there before him, his eyes sad, and his voice small, Theo realizes how much time has passed.

"Almost four months, but It is okay. I know you had the games and school." Theo says.

He means it. He has never been angry at Liam for not being around much during his first semester. Things happen and things change. He already knew that Liam would not be able to come up much due to the distance and school schedule. He prepared for it, and he mentally got himself ready. He has grown used to it, but now that he sees Liam standing there, he does not want to be use to it anymore.

"It was really odd being out of Beacon Hills. No one knew that I was supernatural, and everyone liked me because of lacrosse. Also because of me. Kind of weird, but I felt like I could not miss any games, or I would let people down. I made a few friends. Their nice but it was not the same. I felt like people were moving on without me." Liam sighs.
"We weren't moving on without you. We should have made more of an effort to come see you. Surprised you even when you said you were busy." He says.

"Maybe but there were days when I didn't have games, but I said I did anyway." Liam admits.

"Oh." Theo says.

That is not entirely surprising to him. There were a few times that he noticed Liam's heart speed up and skipped a few beats when he was on the phone with him, but he did not want to investigate it too much. He let it be. Hearing that Liam lied about it, hurts like a knife. His chest aches and his stomach feels like someone cut into him. He is used to being hurt. He has been most of his life, but not with Liam. He never felt hurt by Liam.

Liam turns around. His eyes are filled with concern. He steps forward and Theo steps backward.

"What are you doing here?" He asks.

"I came because I wanted to see you and everyone else." Liam explains.

"No games or pretend games?" Theo sneers.

He knows that is not fair. Liam is already hurting, and he can see it, but he is hurting too. He did not even want to go to college, but everyone encouraged it. Liam wanted him to go but he wanted them to go to the same college. He never wanted to take away Liam's plans and now he feels as if this entire thing was a mistake. Maybe he should have stayed in Beacon Hills. Maybe he should have let Liam come. The whole thing is making his head start to throb.

"No. I…." Liam's voice trails off.

"You should probably call Mason. He will be happy to see you. He pretends he is angry, but he is more sad than anything else. He talks about you all the time. " He points out.

"I know. I missed him a lot. I should let you get back to Nick." Liam says, voice breaking slightly.

"I think Nick left already." He points out.

"Oh." Liam says.

Liam looks relieved but his eyes still show a sadness that Theo aches to see. Liam starts to move towards the door. He starts to panic. His wolf becomes restless, and he is not ready to see Liam leave.

"Liam, why did you pretend you had games when you didn't?" Theo asks.

"So, I could practice." Liam explains.

"Practice?" He questions.

"Yes. Everyone is good in college. There are thousands of me and thousands of better players than me. When I got there, I thought I was behind. There were so many people that could do things I could not do. They were not supernatural either. I felt mediocre for the first time. All I did was play, practice, sleep, go to school, and eat. The friends I made were practicing with me. I was not out living some great college life. I went to two parties. I didn't want to disappoint anyone." Liam explains.

"Are you kidding? You would not disappoint anyone. Your parents were thrilled that you were going to college, but your mom said that you could be anything that you wanted to be. She even said that you could live with her forever, but your dad wasn't so thrilled." He smiles.

Liam smiles back. His shoulders relax and he sits down on the couch. Theo sits down next to him, a little closer than necessary.

"I also have a scholarship for lacrosse. My dad told me he would help pay for it, but I really wanted to do this on my own. I do not always want someone to help me with things I do. I did not want to lose it. I thought about you guys all the time though. Like most of the time. Everyday." Liam admits.

"Why didn't you tell us?" He asks.

"I don't know. I wanted to do everything by myself. To prove I could, but now Nick is here." Liam's eyes flash back to yellow.

"He is only a friend. He is also straight." He cannot help but smile at Liam.

Liam's scent reeks of jealousy and possessiveness. He is trying to cover it up, but Theo can always tell what Liam is feeling when he is around him. He reaches out and touches Liam on the shoulder. Liam's eyes turn back to blue.

"OK, but I thought that for a while too. Then I met you. How do you know your not the guy that is having him question everything?" Liam frowns.

"Thanks for the compliment, but I think your being paranoid. Plus, he knows about you." He explains.

"Ok, but to be safe maybe you shouldn't see him anymore." Liam says.

"Liam." He shakes his head.

"What? He isn't in the group." Liam growls.

"The group? We have a group?" He asks.

"We have the pack. He is not in it, and I do not like him." Liam frowns again.

Theo's phone goes off again and he sighs.

"Hello?" Theo asks, trying not to sound annoyed.

"Um, Nick has some questions, and I don't know what I should say. He said Liam had yellow eyes and fangs. He attributes it to a vampire but clearly he doesn't know his supernatural world." Corey says.

"WHO CARES. LIAM IS HERE. Liam? Where are you? Theo's? I can be there in five minutes. Three if I ignore speed limit signs." Mason exclaims through the phone.

"Hi Mason." Liam smiles.

"Wait. No one is speeding anywhere." Corey says.

"I know I have a lot of explaining but I wanted to….." Liam starts to say.

"HOLD ON. I am sorry to interrupt but we really should be controlling when we shift around regular people." Corey points out.

"So….I am normal, but incredibly smart and incredibly good looking." Mason teases.

"Did you know Nick's family are hunters when you befriended him?" Corey asks.

"I don't do massive research on everyone I meet." Mason says.

"Obviously, this proves that I am always right." Liam says.

"No, it doesn't. Let me talk to him." Theo says.

"That's a terrible plan. What if he kills you? Then I have to kill him and then we all go to jail." Liam explains.

"Why is anyone killing at all? Liam that is not the way." Corey sighs.

"I…won't. I can talk to him?" Liam offers.

"NO." All three of them say.

"Wow guys." Liam mutters.

"Let me talk to him." He says.

"Fine, but can I be there?" Liam offers.

"No. I am not a five-year-old. I do not need you to be there." He frowns.

"I agree with Theo on this one. They are good friends now and he would probably be more receptive of Theo talking to him. Plus, he has a crush on Theo, so that is going to help." Mason points out.

Theo looks at Liam.

"I THOUGHT YOU SAID HE WAS STRAIGHT?" Liam growls through a mouthful of fangs.

"Nick? No. Why would you think that?" Mason asks.

"THEO." Liam growls.

"I assumed he was." He says.

"Oh, no. Sorry, I assumed you knew when he asked if you were single." Mason points out.

"MASON." Corey says.

"I am going to go now. I will meet up with Nick later. I will send Liam to your apartment." Theo says, quickly disconnecting the call.

He turns and looks at Liam. Liam's eyes are yellow, and his chest is heaving. In his own defense, he did think Nick was straight. He is not used to people asking invasive questions and what they actually mean.

"I….sorry." Theo admits.

"It is fine. I mean, it is not like we were anything official anyway." Liam says.

His eyes turn back to blue. He looks at Theo with his sad puppy eyes and leans back on the couch with a long sigh. Liam studies his hands and looks back at the pictures on the wall. Theo's chest starts to ache again. He never wants to be the one who causes Liam to be sad. He can feel his emotions and they are causing him to feel sad with him.

"I mean….I guess not." He admits.

"I just assumed the whole bite thing meant something." Liam growls.

"It does." He says.

"Then what am I supposed to do? I already am coming here and now I feel silly." Liam says.

"Coming here?" He questions.

"Yes, I am transferring. My wolf almost killed someone on the field because I could not control my anger when a person ran into me. You are my anchor. Even if I am not yours." Liam sighs.

Emotions flood him all at once and he feels uneasy. He has never been great with emotions or people. Or really anything at all, but he became better when he started living with Liam. He is not used to people sticking around and he was always waiting for Liam to leave eventually. Now he is here, and he will be close again. He feels a warm sensation spread throughout his chest and all the way down to his toes.

Liam looks at him with sad eyes and starts picking at the thread on the couch. He remembers some crazy spastic kid once told him that family was sometimes found and not always blood related. He never got it until now. He always thought family was related by blood and that is all you get in life. He thinks about Mason and Corey and how they are always around. Mason even picked him up a few times when his truck broke down. Nolan always demanding advice and saying he feels more comfortable talking to him than his own family. Liam's parents who still send him care packages every other week and ask when he is coming to visit. Then he looks at Liam.

Liam looks back at him with hopeful eyes, waiting for him to speak. Liam has never been at a loss for words, but right now he seems unable to speak. His eyes show hope, distress, and a want that Theo remembers well.

"You're my anchor too Little Alpha. Obviously. Something was missing this whole time I was here. I kept thinking it was because I was missing a close friend, but it is more than that. It is a piece of me that was missing. I feel more complete when you are here. Part of me was gone when you were away." He admits.

The words feel foreign to him, but the feelings do not. He has always known how close he felt to Liam but did not get the whole picture until now. Until he was gone and until he thought he might lose him.

"I felt that something was missing too. It was always missing and then I met you." Liam explains.

"Your so soft." Theo teases.

"Yes, I know." Liam smiles.

"I am sorry that I assumed you didn't want to see us." He says.

"I am sorry I didn't talk to you guys about it, and I am sorry that it caused Nick to come into your life." Liam seethes.

"LIAM. Will you let this whole thing with Nick go?" He sighs.

"Yes, when he goes away." Liam growls.

"What if he doesn't go away? What if he is like Allison? He becomes an ally. She was, right? Or that is what I heard." He points out.

"Don't compare him to Allison. Allison and Scott were in love. Are you in love with Nick?" Liam's fangs come out again and he slurs his words.

"No." He says.

"Ok, are you in love with anyone?" Liam asks.

"Maybe." He says.

"I am not one to need reassurance, but I need reassurance right now. Please." Liam pleads with him.

Telling others about your emotions was always seen as a weakness to the dread doctors. Always. No matter what the situation. They taught him to be cold and to lie. Never let anyone in and to always have the upper hand. Theo does not want to live that way anymore.

"I…love you." He says.

A huge weight feels like it has been lifted off his shoulders. The years of only caring about himself and only caring about power fade into the background. All he can see is Liam. His anchor, his first friend, the one who brought him back from Hell, the one he would die for, the one his werewolf chose, and the one he loves.

"I love you too." Liam smiles.

Liam slides closer to him and pulls him towards him. His lips meet Liam's, and he sighs. His wolf finally feeling content. Liam runs his tongue over his lip and Theo parts his mouth for him. He runs his tongue along his and a shiver makes its way down his spine. Liam lays him back on the couch and slides his hand up his shirt slowly.

Liam stops for a moment and pulls away. He tilts his head at Theo.

"What?" He asks.

"Nothing. I am happy." Liam smiles.

Theo's heart flutters as he feels Liam kiss his way down his neck, and bite softly at his skin. Tingles make their way across his skin, and he groans.

Theo groans as he feels Liam move. Slowly they both find what they need. Theo moans and his fingers fist into the couch.

"I love you Theo." Liam whispers again into his neck.

Liam creates bitemarks down his chest and neck. His eyes flash back at Liam in response. He arches into Liam's touch as he runs his hands over him slowly. Liam gets him ready slowly and carefully. He waits until he is withering underneath him.

Liam kisses along his lips again. Theo sighs and allows the feeling of pleasure and Liam to overtake him. '

When Liam makes love to him it is soft and slow. It feels different than the last time. He feels like he is giving a part of his soul to Liam. A part that he has held back for so long, but it feels right.

"This is ridiculous." Nolan complains.

"It is not. What if he reacts badly?" Liam points out.

"Did we all really need to hide out in the car while Theo talks to this guy? I think he can handle himself. He did grow up with the dread doctors." Corey points out.

"I think we are only here in case Liam can find an excuse to beat up Nick." Mason says.

"NO IT IS NOT." Liam protests.

"Can I go now?" Theo asks.

"Yup. Be careful and remember we have Stiles and Scott on standby." Liam says.

"Okay, because Stiles is really the one who can save me." Theo sneers.

"I love you." Liam smiles.

"Yes, I know. I love you too." Theo says.

They smile at each other. Liam's blue eyes twinkling at him in amusement. Theo feels his heart skip a beat. It might always happen with Liam.

"Okay. We get it. Can we do this? I want to eat." Nolan complains.

"Oh my God. Your just mad your girlfriend could not make it." Mason teases.

"I am not but I didn't expect to come back to seeing Liam and Theo give each other googly eyes every five seconds. Get a room." Nolan says.

"We have. A few times but we needed to do this." Liam says.

"EW." Nolan rolls his eyes.

"You guys are cute." Mason says.

"Are we going to do this or not? I have Lydia waiting for me!" Stiles yells through Theo's earpiece.

"Okay." Theo shuts the door.

He walks over to Nick seated at a park bench. He feels awkward that he has ignored him the past couple days, but he was waiting for Liam to call everyone just in case. He doubts this was necessary. He sits down.

"Hi." He says.

"Hi." Nick says.

"So, I get you have a lot of questions, but I want to make sure you know that we are not trying to hurt anyone. We actually help people." Theo explains.

"So weird to hear him say that." Stiles whispers in his ear to Scott. He tries to ignore the earpiece.

He knew he did not need Stiles FBI equipment to do this. Scott and Stiles are having a conversation while he is trying to focus.

"I am more concerned that Liam is going to track me down." Nick says.

"He won't. He is protective over people he cares about." Theo explains.

"AWWW." Scott says.

Theo sighs. Nick studies him for a moment and nods.

"My dad said something about an Argent contacting him. He said he can explain why he is an ally now. I would be interested in hearing it." Nick says.

"Oh God. Now we must add another person in. We already added in Theo. When does it stop?" Stiles complains.

Theo rips the earpiece out and puts it on the ground. Nick looks at it and back up at him.

"Okay, but I think you should meet everyone first." Theo says.

"How many are there?" Nick asks.

"Um…not too many, but we have ally's too." He points out.

"Have you known them a long time?" Nick asks.

"Some of them, but some I haven't known as long." He says.

"Okay. I am listening, as long as that one doesn't kill me." Nick points towards behind him.

Theo turns around and sees Liam watching them. He sighs and nods. Liam is really overbearing sometimes, but he likes it. Sometimes.

He catches Liam's eye for a moment, and they flash yellow. Theo eyes flash back and Liam smiles at him. He finally feels part of something.
