Brett helps him sit up and leans him against the locker. Liam's muscles feel frozen, and he tries desperately to move them, but it is no use. He looks towards the stairs and hears snarling. He feels useless laying here and doing nothing. A Kanima's venom normally lasts up to thirty minutes for a werewolf. On a good day that is. He sighs in frustration.

"Well…" Brett starts to say.

"Shut the hell up Brett." Liam growls.

He already knows what he is going to say, and he does not want to hear it. Not yet. There are many reasons Tracy could have done this. Them trying to betray everyone is only one of them. It does not mean that is what their doing right now. He tries to convince himself of that and the power finally shuts off. About damn time Stiles. He tries to move but remains frozen on the ground. His wolf starts to panic at not being able to help the people he cares about. His growling starts to become louder and he feels his wolf growing angrier by the second.

"Do you want us to leave you here while we go help?" Lori offers.

Her face shows pity towards him. He hates that look. Why is she pitying him right now? Liam is not helpless, and he is not going to lay here while the people he cares about go on fighting without him.

"I can help. I only need a few minutes." He argues.

"No offense, but we are wasting time. I think it is better if you wait here. If you magically become better, we will find you." Brett says.

Liam can only nod. There is not much to say. Lori and Brett quickly get up and head towards the snarling. He tries to focus on moving his body. Inch by inch he can slowly start to move. His brain starts to panic at the time he is losing. Finally, he can move. He leans on the locker for support and starts to head up the stairs. The snarling has ceased. He becomes nervous and makes his way slowly up the stairs. He has no idea how long it has been and how long he was laying on the ground.

He stops and considers his next move. His wolf is agitated and angry at the choices that lay before him. Does he go find Scott, his Alpha, or at least former his Alpha that is? There is Mason and Corey too. He could go find them and get them out of here if everyone is distracted, but then what the hell is Theo up to? His wolf whimpers in distress at the choice he has to make.

He can do this. He thinks he can at least. He looks down the hall and tries to rationalize everything. Scott and Stiles never have a plan A without a plan B as a backup. This whole thing seems rushed and sloppy. It does not scream Stiles at all. He did not have a lot of time, but still. They have been in worse scenario's and had less time to figure things out, so why would Stiles have such a rushed plan? He tries not to become too paranoid. Unless this was never the plan at all.

Why were Lori and Brett here suddenly? He does not even remember inviting them. Maybe he did and he forgot, but that is a huge thing to not remember. He cannot make sense of what is going on right now, but he knows that no matter what is going on, Mason and Corey have never lied to him. His wolf pulls on him to turn around and go the other way, but for once he wants to go towards the people that he knows would tell him the whole plan. Assuming anyone actually knows the plan. He turns to his right and makes his way down the hall. There is a loud banging sound coming out of one of the rooms. He rushes towards it trying to find Mason. He throws the door open and sees…..Josh? He stares there dumbfounded for a moment. His brain tries to make sense of what he is seeing. Josh is standing there with an electric current running through him and looking completely fine. However, he was dead. Wasn't he? He never confirmed that himself, but he thought he was.

"JOSH WHAT THE HELL?" Liam growls.

"Yeah, you weren't really supposed to show up." Josh says.

Josh lunges towards him, and Liam has to force his brain to ignore the confusion overwhelming him and dodge him quickly. The current running through Josh stops for a moment, and Liam growls throwing his body towards him. They both hit the ground. He claws at Josh and whatever he is holding. He has a one-track mind and sees nothing but the threat in front of him. He grabs onto Josh's shirt collar and throws him against the window of the classroom.

A roar escapes him, and his hands tighten around the chimera. The wolf inside Liam is breaking to the surface and taking over whatever part of him was still aware of what is going on. Thoughts rush through his head of talking to the other chimeras and unanswered questions. His hand tightens again, and he growls at the thought. Everyone must be laughing at him. Was everyone just lying this whole time?

"LIAM." He hears Stiles yell.

Hearing Stiles voice startles him, and he looks behind him. Stiles and Lydia are standing there with fearful expressions on their faces. He turns back and sees his claws around Josh's neck. The chimera's eyes are wide and his hands are grasping at Liam's hands around his throat. Josh is starting to turn a blue color and he wonders how long it would take for Josh to suffocate right now.

"Liam." Mason calls to him.

The sound of Mason's voice triggers something in him. Liam lets go and Josh sinks to the floor. Josh gasps for breath and he holds his hands up, signaling a willingness to surrender. Liam narrows his eyes at him. A hand touches his shoulder, and he spins around. He feels his eyes fade back to blue when he sees Lydia standing before him. Then he feels it. It is like something being ripped away from him. His breath leaves him, and a throbbing pain consumes him. He drops and grabs his chest. His body trembles violently and his wolf starts to break free again.

"What is going on? What is wrong?" Mason drops to his side in a panic.

He must be dying. That has to be it. He struggles to breath and gain control over his limbs. His vision fades and he lets out a snarl. Something latches on to him and he feels a hot pain in his chest. A girl is looking at him, but only for a moment. Something pierces him and the rest goes black.

He hears hushed voices talking and his eyes open slowly. He is back at the McCall's house. He sits up and looks around. The old familiar room is still there. Just as he left it. He gets off the bed and looks out towards the hallway. He hears one voice that belongs to Mason. He puts his hand to his chest and finds nothing wrong with it. The ache is still there but no visible damage can be found. He walks down the steps and sees everyone sitting in the living room, minus Tracy and Theo.

"Hey." Scott says softly.

"So, are we going to pretend that everything is fine, or is someone going to tell me what the fuck is going on?" He seethes at them.

Stiles and Scott look at each other. He wonders where Josh is. Did they let him go? He waits for someone to explain what is happening.

"So, we think you passed out." Stiles volunteers.

"No really? Whatever gave you that idea?" He sneers.

He is not trying to be aggressive, but everyone is still not telling him what happened or anything that he wants to know.

"So, Tracy and Theo did save Mason and Corey." Scott explains.

His eyes fall on Mason and Corey sitting in the corner. Mason is quiet and unmoving. Corey looks up at him and smiles sadly. He has never seen Corey sad. Concerned yes, but never sad. It gives him an uneasy feeling. His chest tightens and he looks back at Scott, waiting for him to continue.

"We then found Josh of course. Apparently, the chimeras have been working with Mr. Douglas." Scott says.

"Corey was not working with Mr. Douglas." He scowls.

"Yes, but most of them were." Scott points out.

"Who is most of them?" He asks.

Josh, Donovan, Lucas, you know the ones that were supposed to be dead." Stiles says.

"OK, so where is Mr. Douglas?" He asks.

"I don't know. Josh and Lucas were there, and everything happened really quickly. He got away." Scott admits.

"I thought there were bodies?" He asks, confusion filling him.

"There were bodies, but apparently not their bodies." Stiles says.

"So other chimeras?" He asks.

"Yes, most of them were mauled so we could not distinguish faces anyway, and Deaton lost Josh's body if you remember. However, I had a feeling when you came across Donovan at Eichen who was vague and aggressive, that something was not right." Stiles explains.

"OK." He waits for them to continue.

"When we got there all the chimeras were there and Mr. Douglas. We did get Corey and Mason, but Theo and Tracy deviated from the plan." Scott says.

"What kind of deviation?" He asks.

"Some would call it murder." Stiles narrows his eyes.

"They tried to murder you?" Liam asks, slightly surprised.

"No. They murdered the chimeras." Scott says, his eyes search Liam's, looking to see his reaction.

Okay, so not great, but that means that Tracy and Theo were not with Mr. Douglas. That is good. Or it IS SOMETHING. He looks over at Corey and Mason, who are not looking at him. He turns back towards Scott and waits for him to continue.

"So, obviously Theo does not take kindly to those who betray him and leave his pack or whatever." Stiles says.

"I mean neither do you." Liam says, looking directly at Scott.

Scott frowns at him.

"Liam, I have never killed anyone that leaves the pack, or attempts to leave the pack." Scott says.

It sounds like he is scolding a small child. As if Liam is needing a scolding. Yes, he is fully aware that Scott would not kill anyone who did that, but Scott is not like everyone else. He already knew that and honestly, Liam is not like Scott either. He remembers almost strangling Josh. That is not something he can imagine Scott almost doing. He should feel bad about it, but he left the chimera pack and attacked Liam, what was he supposed to do?

"Okay, well where is Theo and Tracy now? Is Josh dead too?" He asks, trying to keep the hopefulness out of his voice.

If Josh ended up being murdered, he would not feel bad about it. At least, not right now. Maybe later, but right now he feels angry at the chimera for betraying them. Who joins a psycho like Mr. Douglas, especially when that chimera was saved by the dread doctors by Theo himself. What kind of loyalty is that? Although, he might not be one to talk about loyalty. He did leave Scott, but Scott left him first when he traded him off.

"I don't know where Tracy is. She left and we could not find her. Josh is here, but he is at the Sherriff's station in the cell. We are figuring out what to do with him. So far, he has not given anyone up." Scott says.

"Ok, where is Theo? He could probably talk to Josh and find Tracy." He points out to them.

No one says anything. He looks around at all of them. His eyes fall back on Corey and Mason. Corey meets his gaze and lets out a loud sigh.

"So, we already knew that Theo might do something crazy. We also were not sure if he was with Mr. Douglas, so we needed a plan B in case things went south." Stiles admits.

"What kind of plan B?" Liam's fangs start to descend.

"Kira has the sword, right? So, we thought we could use it if we found that he was with Mr. Douglas. He was dangerous Liam. He was an Alpha and he also had some of his chimera's abilities too. We called Brett and Lori to help in case things become hard to manage." Stiles admits.

"Okay, but when you found that he was not with Mr. Douglas?" His fang slices through his tongue.

"He still was killing people Liam. He killed the chimeras and would have killed Josh if he found him." Scott protests.

"What do you mean was? Why is everyone talking in past tense?" He asks, his nervousness starting to grow.

"I sent him away. He is gone now." Kira says, holding up her sword.

Liam's heart aches as the words fall off her lips. He knew something was wrong when he thought he was dying earlier. He felt it. They just killed Theo. Sent him away like nothing. How is that any different than what Theo did? It still is a murder. His wolf whimpers in despair and he looks at Corey, his eyes look sadly back at Liam.

"What about Tracy? Where the hell is she going to go? She does not have any family left." Liam says, his wolf feeling a sense of loss, but also a sense of duty to the other chimera.

"She ran off Liam." Scott points out.

"YES, BECAUSE YOU TOOK OUT THEO. Obviously, she might have wondered what you were going to do to her." Liam growls.

"DIDN'T TRACY PARALYZE YOU LIAM." Brett almost roars at him.

He looks over at Brett, noticing him for the first time. He glares at him. What an asshole. He cannot stand him right now. He looks away and fights the urge to tackle him to the floor.

"Yes, and I am upset, but you should have had us talk about this. You always say talking and trying to save people is what we do. What the hell happened to that Scott?" He sneers at the Alpha.

"He was too dangerous Liam. He couldn't be saved." Scott says gently.

"I am so glad to know you are the deciding factor on who is to be saved or not. Got it. Am I going to go away too? I did almost strangle Josh." He says.

"I think you might be confused. I…we know you have been through a lot." Scott explains to him.

"I am not confused. I was never confused. Maybe we just aren't all perfect like you." He sneers.

"I think we should take a break. Maybe talk about it tomorrow." Lydia pipes up from the couch.

For the sake of Lydia, who is probably the only one he can still stand right now in this pack, he nods. He walks towards the door and starts putting on his shoes. He almost rips the laces trying to put them on. Everything has gone to hell. He cannot even focus on anything, but what they have done. Is he mad at Tracy and Theo? Of course, but he was not going to kill them off. How can Scott say they are different if he is doing the same exact thing when it benefits him?

"Hey." Mason says, walking over to him.

"Hi." Liam swallows the lump in his throat.

"I didn't know about the chimeras and Mr. Douglas. For what it is worth, I think Theo and Tracy found out that day. I do not think it was some masked conspiracy to not tell everyone. Not defending them, but just wanted you to know that." Mason explains.

"I know. I mean I get why they did what they did. I don't condone it, but the chimeras were probably looking to kill all of us." He points out.

"Ah, you are okay with them doing that?" Mason asks, surprise in his voice.

"I don't know. I do not think so, but I am not saying I do not understand it. I did almost kill Josh. I do not know if I am one to really make that judgement call. You are the one that brought me back." He admits.

"Do you want us to go with you? Where are you going?" Mason asks.

"I don't know. I just want to be alone for a while. I am okay. I think I am going to go back home." Liam says sighing.

"Home? You mean to Theo's house?" Mason asks.

"Yes. For now. I will call you later." He offers.

"Okay but call me if you need anything." Mason says.

"Okay." He nods.

He makes his way out of the house and heads towards the road. The house is not far, and he does not mind walking. His mind replays over everything he has just heard. Why did Tracy paralyze him? Was it so they could kill the chimeras? Did they assume that Liam was so pure and would not help? He stops walking. Would he have killed them? No. Of course he would not have killed them. He probably would have stopped Theo or tried to. It does not really matter anymore. The lump in his throat continues to form.

He sees the house in the distance and there sitting on the steps is an incredibly angry Tracy. Tracy never liked him but the relief his wolf feels upon seeing her alive sparks something in him. A feeling of belonging, of trust, and of home.

"I think that you should have talked to Liam first before you did something like this. How the hell is he going to trust any of us." Malia argues.

"I did what we had to do in order to protect everyone. Theo was a loose cannon. You know that." Scott protests.

"Did you ensure he cannot get out?" Deaton asks.

"What do you mean? He is dead. Why would he get out of death?" Stiles asks confused.

"I am only asking because I would assume he might remember being sent away. He seems to not take people going behind his back well. I wouldn't want to have a whole other issue come up." Deaton says.

"An issue of what?" Scott asks.

"Of an angry chimera Alpha coming back from something like that. You had a deal with him and an alliance that you broke." Deaton points out.

"I…well the deal did not entail him killing off the chimeras." Scott protests again.

"I know that, but I am sure he wouldn't view it the same." Deaton says.

"It doesn't matter. He cannot get out anyway. I do not know why we are talking about it. He died remember?" Stiles asks, almost sounding unsure of himself.

"Yes." Malia nods

Liam sighs in frustration as he turns over in his bed. It has been a week since he has gotten any sleep at all, and it is starting to get to him. He shifts back and forth uncomfortably in his bed. His phone starts to vibrate. He presses the phone to his ear.

"Hey Liam." Mason says.

"Hi, Mason." He says.

"Just checking in on you." Mason says.

"I am fine. I am glad I found Tracy." He admits.

"Yeah. Me too. Are you going to tell Scott?" Mason asks.

"Eventually. I would rather wait. I do not really feel like talking to him. He doesn't tell me anything." He growls.

"Okay. We can come over soon. I just have to wait for Corey." Mason explains.

"Okay. That is fine. Where is Corey?"" He asks.

"He said he had to take care of something." Mason says.

"Ok. Hey, Mason?" Liam asks.

"Yes?" Mason asks.

"I have been having a lot of nightmares recently. Always in Beacon Hills hospital and I am running from something. I….might be losing my mind." He says.

"Maybe your just impacted by everything that happened." Mason points out.

Something warm spreads throughout his chest and it causes him to sit up quickly. He looks around the room and grabs at his chest. Nothing is out of place. He looks back at the phone and puts it to his ear. His heartbeat slows down to a steady rhythm, and he takes a few deep breaths. These nightmares are really messing with him.

Notes:

Ok, so this was only to be one part, but the story took on a new life. Any feed back appreciated. Also, let me know if you think it should end here because I am fine with that too.
