The Northern Water Nation was a nice thing to look at if you were into ice and cold, the light that seemed to shine from the windows made the city look adorable; as every stubborn whore looked. Good thing he wasn't there for the scenery, because really anything without fire and smoke was a drab thing; any place without heat was a special kind of hell.

"Welcome to the Northern Water Nation boys, we go in and out as swift as possible. We are not here for war, we are here for an abduction." Zhao said as he looked at his mask with disgust, when he took the princess, he wanted the world to know it was he who took her, not some masked dude. However as his Emperor had clearly told him, it was a secret mission whose success lied on its secrecy.

Once he had his three men ready, he looked at the unforgiving looking ocean before taking a breath and a leap into it. Once in, they all used their fire bending to their advantage to warm themselves while they swam for about thirty minutes before they could get to the largest iceberg, that held the capital city.

Together, they swam below the gates and further into the capital till they got into the sewage pipes and then out into the bathing room. Feeling disgusted, Zhao looked around the empty cold room before he began the tedious job of sneaking through the hallway to get to the Princess' room. With any luck it would be the fanciest looking room in the entire castle.

Princess Yue was feeling a bit uneasy. She had no idea why, however she felt a very pressing need to visit the ones who gave her life when she had none. After a fast dinner and a goodbye kiss to her father, she sluggishly went to the Spirit Oasis to see the Moon and Ocean Spirit do the Eternal Dance.

"Why am I here?" Yue asked the Spirits as they danced, expecting no answer as usual. "Why do I feel the urge to be here when I should be in my room writing a letter to Sokka?" Yue asked as she dipped her hand into the pool to feel its warmth, at the same time taking a seat on the soft grass.

Yue usually had the feeling that the spirits in their physical form could mayhap communicate with her if she gave herself fully into the effort to listen. She had the inkling that she was resisting their voice because of the fear that if she did listen, she wouldn't be able to stop listening. That meant being an Oracle to the Spirits, a virgin with no life of her own. She wanted to experience sex and love with a man before such mantle could be given to her.

She could still remember the last Oracle of the Spirits, her father's aunt, who had lived so long constantly mediating for the spirits that the woman sometimes couldn't differentiate between reality and Spirit World. A mantle she lost only after putting Yue into the pool as a babe. It would've been nice to visit the Spirit World now and then, constantly bringing words from them that could protect her people, but not now. Not when she was about to start a full life with the man she'd fallen in love with in such a short time.

With a sigh she stood up and left the pool, guards one step behind her until she arrived at the hallway to her room, only to be met with a group of men in masks.

Needing no order, her guards sprung into action, sensing ice cuffs at their throats and feet, only for them to send a ball of flame at her. One of the guards instantly picked her up like a doll and began to flee towards her room to lock her in. Once in the room, the door was locked, leaving her to the mercy of the sounds of fighting between two polar opposite elements, soon the sounds fell and silence reigned for a while.

Running to grip the sword that Sokka had given her before leaving, she turned to face whomever entered her room. Slowly the door was unlocked and slowly it opened. Holding her breath she awaited until her killers walked into the room with their masks.

"Sorry for the intrusion my lady. We were just around and thought we could come visit."

Yue waited, gripping her sword firmly, for the first idiot to attack her.

"Bring her to me."

The first to move towards her instantly lost his hand and found a sword buried deep into his throat. Without pausing, she launched herself at the second fool, ducked below a ball of flame before slashing his legs and burying the sword in his stomach. Turning to the third, she narrowly dodged a scarring by leaning backwards as fast as possible, with a flip and a spin, the man lost his head.

"You're a feisty one, I love my women feisty."

Yue ignored his words an attacked him, ducking and dodging two balls of fire, she moved to stab him only for him to trip her and punch her face as she fell, knocking her unconscious.

Captain Jet was by himself. He had no words to understand the situation or even to comfort himself, all he had was a blanket a bowl of food and a fire to keep staring at with the rage and self hatred he could produce.

One would wonder why he was feeling this way when he and his fellow leaders had already liberated six villages and four large towns from the Fire Nation's hold, the answer was pretty simple, General Iroh had shown his card and it was a deadly one. Three thousand men were dead, two thousand five hundred soldiers and five hundred villagers, while the five hundred women and two hundred children were gone, taken by the Dai Li.

The letter from Long Shot had stated how they had been ambushed and defeated in seconds by the Dai Li. How the men fought back and hard but were still cut down as if untrained, the water benders in their midst gave all they could but were still killed in the denizens until finally they were defeated. The women and children had been taken before the eyes of the remaining 500 soldiers who had remained bound to the ground and mountains. Smellerbee had been among those taken as well as many of his friends.

How did one even eat or sleep knowing that their friends were in the hands of a monster?

"I have to give chase Hakoda." Jet said

"Why, because you fancy yourself dead?" Hakoda asked.

"I have to save my friends!" Jet insisted as he turned to look at the man.

"True, question is how. As a martyr or as a warrior. Either way could save your friends, but one of those ways would hurt your friends immensely." Hakoda said.

"But..."

"Do you know why I left my home with only fifteen thousand men to join you?"

Jet swallowed and looked back at the fire. "Because I was fighting for my people?"

"No." Hakoda said. "Because you had refused to bow down to the fire benders even when you had no bending yourself. You are a smart man Jet, ask yourself; going to Iroh's stronghold without an army behind you, is it really wise?"

Jet stared at the fire and even glared at it. Why couldn't he just match into Ba Sing Sae and rescue everyone taken?

"I have to do something."

"That's true." Hakoda said before standing up. "King Bumi had sent his daughter to Ba Sing Sae to begin a rebellion, you'll go there as well. Your job is to help her raise an army on the inside while I and Bato cover charging at Ba Sing Sae. We'll attack Iroh on the day of the Black Sun which is a moon from now. By dusk, the Earth Nation wild one more be a powerful Kingdom from where we will strike the Empire and end it's works domination once and for all."

Mai was...wary. Her best friend was doing things she would've never thought she would, sure she always knew she could, but to actually be a traitor to her own father was... unimaginable. Azula was just acting as if secretly fucking the Avatar was like breathing air, nothing strange about it! Many nights through their sennight long journey she'd simply thought and thought and kept thinking of what to do.

She wasn't naive enough to think Azula had any favourable plan for her beloved, according to her, Zuko would be handled by the Avatar. Meaning Zuko wasn't in on the plan to usurp Ozai and enthrone Azula. Nor was Iroh. Azula was the only brain of this operation, probably with the always happy Avatar simply going along because of all the sex he was getting. So if anything were to happen to Azula, the operation would end, Zuko would be the next Emperor or Firelord, whichever name he preferred and ask would be well. Only problem was that she would lose her best friends, one to death or incarceration, the other because of feelings of betrayal.

Why the fuck did Azula have to tell her of all her plans and secret nights with the Avatar, why not remain mysterious? The answer was pretty simple, she needed a friend.

Now what kind of friend thinks of killing or exposing her friend?

One in love with her friend's enemy, Zuko had to know everything she knew.

Azula stared at the letter and then out at the sea with a look that screamed indifference. Looking back at the letter, she could practically feel the joy that was still in the naïve Avatar when he wrote the letter, looking back at sea she allowed her sadness slowly seep out without breaking her mask. Aang had broken her heart without even knowing it.

Her best friend since she was thirteen, her lover since she was twenty, her confidant and partner in crime since she was fourteen, the almighty Aang had taken her heart and shattered it.

The tears wanted to fall so badly, but it took every strength in her body and mind to keep them in check. She couldn't look weak before her men, nor before her friends, not when she was their leader in her plot to save the world.

Did he not know that girls don't just fuck their friends unless they have feelings for said person?I told him I loved him and he me, every time we fucked, why did he not hear what I was trying to saying? Those were the thoughts that ran amok in her mind as she slowly folded the letter and burnt it in her palm. She gave her virginity to him and even went on a limb to bare her heart before him, however subtle, believing he would notice her as a possible girlfriend not just fuck buddy. But no, he had to keep his eyes on Katara, the damned Water Bitch!

"Boy trouble?" Try Lee asked as she stood beside her to stare at the starry night.

"What makes you ask that?"

"Only a boy can make you this... tense." Try Lee said. "Has Aang been a typical boy?"

Azula bit her tongue as the urge to defend him came up. With a sigh to force down her snappy comment, she replied Ty Lee. "He slept with Katara and told me how great our lessons were to him."

Ty Lee looked at her and sighed softly before placing a comforting hand on her. "I'm here for you."

"Why, do you have any advice for me to get him to dump the Bitch and be with me?" Azula asked her a bit hopefully.

"Uh... no. What I do have is a shoulder."

"I also have a shoulder Ty Lee, what makes yours so special?"

"Well, you can cry on mine."

"Hell no. I'm not gonna become one of those girls that cry when the boy they love is in love with another." Azula replied forcefully and released her hand for the ashes to fly away.

She'd waited 5 years before she slept with her crush, she was willing to wait another until she had him as her husband. After all, she knew the loveable air bender first.

Zuko was pissed. His first fight against the Avatar had ended with him losing. He, the Fire Prince, losing to water and air elements when his element was the superior one. Azula was right, he should never underestimate his enemy, not even when he had the upper hand. The only good news about the defeat was that the Avatar had dropped something, his staff.

"How are we on the chase after the Avatar?" Zuko asked his captain.

"Our belief is that we are heading towards Yayatu Island, one of the place not invaded by your father, despite its closeness to Ba Sing Sae, due to its unpleasant topography."

Zuko frowned and glared at the distance. The island was the perfect for a hideout. It was swampy and misty and an invasion to such a place was not advisable, unless if they had someone on the inside. Also they were crazy besotted with the Avatar since one of the Avatars had protected their ancestors from annihilation during the War Against Earth, led by the Kings of the Water Nation and the Firelord.

It would be a tad bit difficult to find the air bender, but thankfully they had a special hound that found things after taking a whiff of whatever it had touched.

Two hours later, they arrived at the Island that was dark as usual, with the island swallowing every light that fell upon it. Zuko and three men had to enter the land using stealth in order to find where the Avatar was, desisting from using the rather loud hound to lead them.

Minutes later, they arrived at a party. the guests were all merrily dancing and singing, eating and laughing as if the outside wasn't in war. The men all had a sword and the ladies with slender looking blades, even in a party they were all ready for battle.

Sticking to the shadows while constantly watching the people, eyes focused on finding the Avatar and his gang, he was rewarded. There with his girlfriend, he was. Dancing and grinning like a boy that had won the lottery, he'd probably already fucked the princess if her grin was anything to go by.

"Lee, I want you to put this in that girl's jug." Zuko said to the man behind him while watching a girl refill her jug in order to serve those on the high table.

Without looking at Lee work, he turned back to the gaang. Prince Sokka was dancing with a girl while a Kyoshi Warrior kept constant vigilance, too bad she wasn't good enough to spot him, although he doubted she'd be that bad at a fight.

Three hours later, all the guests had turned in for a night sleep, which was the signal for the intruders to leave the hall and head towards where he'd seen the Avatar leave about an hour ago. Keeping to the shadows he moved with his men, hiding in alcoves an behind tapestries, once he'd hidden in a room of snoring couples who'd slept naked.

After a tedious walk, he finally entered the Avatar's room and looked at him and the black skinned girl with a narrowed glance.

Looking at them, so vulnerable before him, he could easily snuff the life out of them, however he had a better plan. One that was fun for him, bit would probably hurt the Avatar immensely.

Game on Avatar.

Aang sighed in pleasure as he awoke. Life had become so great the moment he gave into the love he felt for Katara. The closeness had increased to the extent he was even ready to tell her about his plan with Azula to usurp Ozai and crown her Fire Lady.

Speaking of Azula, he had no idea what she planned to do next since Momo hadn't returned from his trip to wherever his best friend was. If she had been in the Fire Empire, then Momo would've returned by now. The other options where that she was no longer in Crimson Island, or she'd been exposed and was presently standing trial for treason.

The latter was his worst fear, how would he live with himself if she was killed for helping him against her father? Aang had to remove the thought from his head and dump it in fire in order to feel less nervous. She was Azula, he was sure she was okay. Maybe she was just too happy for him and was trying to arrange her thoughts before she sent a reply.

With a yawn, he sat up to get ready for the day which promises another journey towards Omashu in order to learn earth bending and also recruit more people in his fight against Ozai. The air benders and the select water benders, about five thousand water benders in total, were not enough allies for Azula.

"Hey Katara, we need to get up." He said as he rubbed his eye and turned to look at Katara. "Katara?"

On the spot his girlfriend was supposed to be, he saw a piece of paper with a sentence written on it.

'If you want her, come get her at the Si Wong Desert.

Zuko

Crown Prince of the Fire Empire.'

Fuck!

At last.

Toph stared blindly at the newly recovered Lower Ring, while using her fee to feel the entire place, as the train slowly came to a stop. The journey had been far from easy, the stray firebenders she'd killed and stripped of their supplies had given her useful information before they had died.

First, Iroh had the entire city in his tight fist, with the Dai Li been led by the backstabbing Leo Feng who had killed his twin to take his place in command.

Second, the Freedom Fighters were making waves in freeing villages amd towns as they crept closer to Ba Sing Sae, although she doubted men less that fifty thousand would defeat Iroh, seeing as the old man was rumoured to have a hundred thousand men in his command, exluding the ten thousand Dai Li.

Third, Zuko was hunting the Avatar.

Last, Zhao had Princess Yue.

Things seemed pretty fucked up for the good guys, that was why she was in Ba Sing Sae, to level the playing grounds.

Getting off the train, she walked into a tea shop to take a cup of something hot while she got the feel of the area, heard a couple of talk and heartbeats, anything to know the foreign land she was in before ahe made a move.

"What can I get you?" An old man whose heartbeat was quite strong, the kind of strength that only veterans had, veterans like her father Bumi.

"Jasmine Tea." Toph replied as she kept feeling the suspicious man.

"A cup of Jasmine Tea coming right up." The man said and left. He walked with confidence and strength, he moved like someone that could easily crush the throats of his opponent and also hold a crying baby gently.

He was someone to be wary of. People like him were supposed to lead armies, not serve tea. Whoever he was, she most definitely didn't want to have his nose in her business.
