AN: Massive Edit here with this story. As promised I will be working on one edit story along with my current story. So please enjoy this summary and a new chapter.
Summary: Uchiha Sasuke is from the legendary Uchiha tribe known throughout Tamriel. They are known as merchants, assassins, once even aid to the great Dragonborn when they were alive. However since the disappearance of dragons and Dragonborns, they seem to have almost no purpose but as mere assassins and merchants, getting by with the money they make off those contracts. Some of his people, like his brother Itachi, have joined the dark brotherhood. Most are nowadays leaving the old Dragonborn Following traction behind, but Uchiha Sasuke chose to be seen more than what his tribe is now. He wants the name Uchiha to have the glory it once did when they aided those born with dragon souls. Though that's harder to do without a Dragonborn. Until, lo and behold, one magically shows up in Riverwood just after the surprising dragon attack in Helgen. Not only is he a Nord, stubborn and brooding, but Sasuke also has to prove to this guy who he is before the next attack and prove his worth to be with Naruto along the way.

A Cold Day in Hel…
Damn cold, always making him freeze half to death in its white beauty. Winter had its freezing beauty or the Kiss of Death as some would put it, but Naruto hated the cold so much that he purposely lived in Falkreath just to avoid it. A lake view manor in the dense forest was his lifestyle. What wasn't helping his situation against the icy winds and freezing grounds is that he is wearing next to nothing, just an itchy cut-off sleeve tunic, cloth pants that were ripped in areas he didn't want showing mind you, and foot wraps. Now, why would he be traveling in sheer potato sack clothing one may ask? Oh because he had been ambushed, tied up, and placed in the back of a murder wagon that would drive him to his death. Is he a criminal? No, not a chance but did those damn red Imperial assholes listen to him as they dragged him off the cart with other Nords into line to watch as they had their heads chopped off? No not a damn chance. Honestly, he would've run or started some form of a riot to get free, but with the archers standing ready at the bow for the slightest twitch of nerve, he would've done it. Naruto hated Imperials more than he hated the cold. They were greedy, insufferable, heartless people who had nothing but blood on their minds. They could all die in Hel and he would gladly put them there.
So how did he escape Helgen? Well, a damn dragon appeared out of fucking nowhere. Naruto thought he had died as he was coming up to the chopping block. Seeing the first Nord being shot down as he tried to run had his stomach-turning. Seeing another Nord being dragged to his knees, forced to lay there as the Executioner raised the ax and sliced through his neck mercilessly had his mind reeling. Naruto cursed the Gods, cursed the Imperials, and more as they called for him to be the next blood on the ground. He struggled as they dragged him to his death. This was it, he would die pointlessly. As he was kneeling, head turned to face the stone building, the last thing he would ever see, a high pitch shrill soared across the cloudy skies. Silence to see if the noise would come back, nothing. Axe raised high above his head when black wings dipped out of the clouds and the ground shook underneath him. Naruto's mind raced as everyone screamed and looked at the massive black dragon on top of the building. The legends were true as the beast opened its mouth and out came this thundering shout. The skies became gray and swirled above the dragon's head before Naruto could even get his bearings. He forced himself up to his feet, hands still bound as his disoriented mind attempted to gather the fact that his life was saved by a dragon no less and about to be eaten by it at the same time. The fire was the next thing he felt, the flames white-hot as it seared past him and wrapped a few victims that weren't so lucky to get passed. He ran to the first building available, followed by another Nord that had been talking to him in the wagon when he first woke up, Ralof. They hid inside the building, watched as one man succumbed to his wounds and another grieved. Naruto didn't waste time as the shaking and screams filled the air. He just had to see what was happening, to see the legendary monster return to only destroy lives, maybe even help if he could get the binds off. Running up the stairs was a mistake because he sure as Hel got close enough to the lizard when it knocked a hole inside the building they were in, staring right at him with such intent Naruto thought the beast was thinking before it sent another wave of white flames at him.
Let's just say trying to avoid that damn thing was like trying to avoid allergies. It came for many lives and Naruto still couldn't get the smell of burning bodies or the heart-wrenching screams out as he ran to safety. Again, why did he have nothing on basically to help resist against the cold? Well, he could have grabbed the armor when he was trying to get the hell out of Helgen, but he chose to take the sword instead. The heavy armor would have dragged him down and he was running from a dragon of all things! Naruto of course now had the chance to think and the first thought he had was 'A mother fucking DRAGON appeared.' Why? Why now of all places? Why in Helgen? Where had the thing come from? Some many unanswered questions came when they were free from that death place. Naruto of course had some even more burning hatred for the Imperials since he was ambushed. Why was he ambushed you may be wondering? First, he wakes up bound in a wagon with other Nords before him-oh and Ulfric freaking Stormcloak. The most feared man in all of Skyrim because of the supposed rumor that he used the power of the Voice to kill the King. The power of the Voice is old magic, one that disappeared with the Dragons, a lot disappeared with them. Now that he thought about it, if the rumor was true and Ulfric did use the Voice to kill the king, then maybe he somehow summoned the dragon to cause the distraction so he could be free? But so many died... even many of his people that were in the ambush with him. Then again, if he wanted to be free he would've done anything. Even summon a damn dragon. Honestly, when he saw Ulfric it dawned on him very quickly as the Ralof spoke to him and the horse thief that was killed by the archers. They weren't going to prison but a public execution. He wasn't trying to cross the border as Ralof believed, he was trying to visit someone who lived close by when he was suddenly attacked and taken down by the Imperial ambush. They didn't care about who was in the mix, so long as they got their precious Ulfric captured then damn all those caught up in it right? At least one of the Imperials tried to spare him, but it was a dead-end. The damn dragon did more than anyone else, but what the fuck? A fucking dragon when there hasn't been one for nearly a hundred years! They were all dead… but it looks like someone missed a giant black one!
Heading out from the dungeon they had to escape through with Ralof wasn't an easy task. They had to fight through the Imperials coming through as well and had to navigate through the tunnel system while the dragon destroyed more and more of Helgen. Naruto had picked up some loose coin from skeletons as they came across the torture dungeon and a Mage. Naruto hated today while he was being shot full of lightning. Lock picks, coins and swords only did a little to lessen the mood. Ralof constantly spoke as he said nothing to get through. Ralof was a means to an end while he acted as his guide through the caves. If they made it out alive, he would thank him and move on. He had nothing against the Stormcloaks, honestly avoided those who were any type of soldiers, to begin with, but he wouldn't be so brash against the man for saving his life during this insane time. Naruto and Ralof had made it out of the cave and into the dense forest covered in snow after successfully avoiding a hibernating bear. How it slept through all that chaos above was remarkable. Naruto didn't feel the urge to kill a sleeping animal, a grizzly bear at that and they move out of the mouth of the cave. However, said dragon that attacked Helgen made a loud shrilling sound again as his wings cut through the wind. The distant roar was right over their heads and Naruto didn't think twice when Ralof advised him to get down. They hid behind a large rock as the dragon made another roar and was flying off. Where was the overgrown lizard going? Ralof stood up as the coast was clear and commented on the dragon before looking to Naruto. He said nothing as his grey eyes locked with Naruto's steely blue ones. The Nord turned and continued on the path as if Naruto had nothing else to do or he had done his good deed for the year.
Well, Naruto did have nothing better to do. He would ditch this guy and run through the woods towards his home but a closer inspection of where he was showed he was three days away from his home. No clothes to protect from the winter, no food, and very little money on him- he would die out there long before he reached the place. So what choice did he have but to run down and follow the man, jogging down the small slope of the mountain they stood on to catch up to him.
Ralof seemed pleased with the man's choice, looking back to the blonde. He was maybe an inch taller than Naruto was, but the man-made up for it in bulk muscle. Honestly, he was a little surprised he didn't just break the bonds in half by sheer strength. As amazing as it would have seemed, he saw Naruto as more of a potential ally than an enemy. Strong, seemed ready to defend should the need call for it. Male didn't speak much but Ralof didn't mind. It gave him the chance to look over and talk to the man as he walked, seeing his hands up and locked behind his short blonde hair. He must be a young lad, no more than twenty judging from the youthful look he had and less wear from life around his blue eyes. Striking as he seemed in muscle and age, Ralof wondered why such a man like him had been so close to the border. He had assumed he was trying to cross at the wrong time but Naruto said nothing against his assumptions. Naruto said very little and when he did, it was direct and he only wanted a direct answer.
"Going to Riverwood?" Naruto spoke and glanced at Ralof.
The male cleared his throat as his thoughts summarized Naruto up, and looked to the path they were on. "Yes, I have a younger sister there with her husband. If we get there in time, we then could…"
Naruto turned him out, only getting the answer to his question, and looked ahead. Naruto didn't care where they went so long as he could get some warmer clothes, and food in his stomach. Other than that, he didn't care about the place or someone's sister.
Home, all he wanted after this shit show was to be snuggled in his bed in his own home while the hearth warmed it nicely. He had a homestead to attend to and a friend to tell all about his little kidnapping, nearly head chopped off, dragon adventure he had. Naruto had his fill of adventures and wanted nothing else to do with them.
Onto Riverwood, they went in silence after Ralof realized Naruto wasn't paying attention to his tales of family. They had come across some standing stone in a small circular pattern further down their path. Ralof tried to explain what they were but Naruto just kept walking down the path without a second glance behind him. He couldn't care less for the affinity stones or whatever they were, he had a single quest in mind and that was to get better clothes and warm food before heading back to his manor. Fuck the affinity stones for the gods mocked and cursed him, proof of their mockery was today. A simple life is all he wanted, and what does he get? Shit eating Imperials and a fucking dragon.
They were trailing the river next to them, snow building around the bank as the freshwater ran downstream happily. Seeing the ice and snow only reminded Naruto just how cold he was, chilled right to the bone, but he kept up a good front and kept walking. He would soon be in town and maybe Ralof's sister would be so kind as to give him some clothing. Normally Naruto wouldn't hope for such things or even ask but he was desperate. Even if he sold the dagger he had found in the dungeon and the sword, it wouldn't be enough to buy leather foot wrappings. Riverwood wasn't much for blacksmithing, only had one blacksmith if he recalled and the prices were too high for too little.
Eventually, they came across livestock roaming the stone path, entering through the wooden gates under the wooden bridge. Riverwood, how original is that. River...and wood, so much effort. Riverwood is a medium-sized town south of Whiterun, and north of Helgen. It is located at the foot of the Throat of the World, on the banks of the White River. It is the town closest to for basic facilities available, including a sawmill where one can work for money, a blacksmith, Riverwood Trader, and a small tavern named the Sleeping Giant Inn. Riverwood is a good town with the work available, Naruto can earn a decent amount of coin in a short amount of time. if he had the time, but he didn't. As much as he didn't want to hope on his guide's sister lending him the basics, he would have too. He couldn't spend any more time than necessary because of his livestock back home and his homestead. Not to mention giving the Imperials time to regroup and come after those who escaped. With that in mind, he looked at the basic wood buildings looking for signs to tell him what was what as they walked along the path. Naruto noticed a good amount of people were out and about and looking up for some reason. However, that reason became clear as a thought came to him as to which direction the dragon had been going when they got out of Helgen. Fuck this wasn't good, that could mean the dragon was flying above them and could land for an attack yet again.
"Which direction did you see it heading?" a voice caught Naruto's voice as Ralof went to check on his sister. Naruto went to follow but a sight caught his attention to his right.
Looking to his right he saw nothing but ebony black hair hanging straight down to the male's slender shoulders. He wore a fine black and grey long sleeve tunic and black pants to make the outfit complete. His black boots were covered in mud and snow judging from the wet stains in the leather. A sheathed sword attached to his hip, slender, and even blended in with the black. This person enjoyed black or they were in one of those guilds he's heard of. It couldn't be the Brotherhood after hearing the question the male had asked. They only care if something stops them from getting their contracts finished. Perhaps Nightingale? Okay, he's seen different people before and never really cared but his hair was fine as silk and as dark as ebony ore. His character was different from what he has seen in his young years, none that would blend well here. Honestly, just the sheer intensity of black had Naruto rooted to the frozen ground as if he had been frozen.
"That way!" an old woman croaked as her boney finger pointed towards Whiterun. "I saw the dragon! I swear I did!" she yelled at the black-haired male trying to calm her down. She wasn't having it and felt the need to drag others in...more importantly Naruto. Spotting him watching, her finger moved from the sky and to Naruto's face. "He'll tell you! He saw it too! Didn't you?"
Naruto wanted to strangle the old hag for drawing attention to him. He tried to speak, but suddenly that black hair moved and he was face to face with the palest yet smoothest face he had ever seen. Soft and pure, just like Honey milk and Naruto was at a loss for words. Who could look so good and yet so threatening at the same time? Naruto looked at the onyx eyes, fully covering all of his eyes that there was no white distinction. They moved up and then down, Naruto watching as the Dark Elf sized Naruto up before narrowing even more. Dark Elf maybe if only he could see his ears, then he would know for sure. He had to be with the eyes and the structure, but he didn't have the deep-colored skin as most do. Usually in deep greys or even purples but this one lacked any color pigmentation. Hell, his skin looked beautiful as the snow-covered the roofs and banked around the wooden pillars. Naruto had tensed when he turned to look at him, ready for anything but something caught his attention even more so than the potential elf before him A small white and red half-moon fan stitched to the lapel of his black tunic. It was small enough to be hidden at a far distance but Naruto was no more than five feet from him and could make it out by squinting. The design and the sudden realization hit him like being dumped in the icy river. Just who is this guy exactly? An Uchiha that's who.
