A/N: Real time news in baseball sucks again. But this chapter is about twenty percent baseball and behind the scenes. It's the deep brotherhood of the team.

And oh sh*t. The OK Teach is right. Again. This one is going to be three chapters. *throws story outline out the window*

Chapter 2

Caleigh and the twins, along with Aaron and Beth, watched the live YouTube feed of the church service from their southern home church Sunday morning that started at nine. Hannah and John enjoyed the service while eating the breakfast Hannah prepared. They were the only ones up.

The service was finishing when Dave walked into the home. John, sipping his coffee, looked at Dave. "Long night with some scotch?" he smiled.

"No John," Dave smiled back. "It was my night on AL to sleep in. It felt good."

"Good for you," Hannah smiled rubbing his arm, handing Dave a cup of coffee.

The service finished, the five Hotchners moved to the kitchen. "Mama," Trev said. "I'z hungry."

"My doughnuts have worn off too buddy," Aaron smiled at his grandson.

Caleigh looked at Trev. "Then you and Taylor get the boys up while grandma and I get some bacon frying for sliders." The twins took off running down the hall to Jack's room. Lexie and Molly, already up, fed and napped, chased after them.

"Sliders?" Hannah asked.

"Grandma," Dave smiled. "You're about to see a well-oiled machine." Aaron cracked his knuckles as he, Caleigh and Beth moved into the kitchen.

An hour later, two pounds of bacon, two dozen each of eggs, cheese slices and dinner rolls had met their demise. Hannah smiled as Jack washed all the cooking dishes and utensils. Miguel rinsed and Rashad dried. Caleigh put them away as Beth, using another dishcloth, cleaned up the stove. "I'm totally impressed," Hannah said.

John looked at Dave. "When do I get sliders?"

"Friday morning grandpa," Caleigh smiled. The boys looked at her. "Sorry guys. Thursday is family only until after dinner. Then you can come and stay with Jack again."

"I get it," Rashad smiled.

"Me too," Miguel added.

"Thank you guys," Caleigh smiled. "Go play video games," she added, shooing the boys out of the kitchen. At noon, the boys were in the pool, watching the start of the Braves game.

Beth looked at Caleigh. "I noticed you yawned while we were getting sunscreen on the boys."

Caleigh softly smiled. "I didn't sleep the best last night. This is the new part for me having only one baby. I'm not lying around most of the day." She looked at Beth. "I love being more active. But getting this close, it wears me out," Caleigh confessed.

"You two go nap," Beth smiled, rubbing her back. "Aaron and I will get the twins down."

"Thanks Beth," Caleigh smiled back. She walked into the porch where Hannah and John were once again enjoying the AC while watching the game and the boys in the pool. Part of the new pool TV system had speakers wired into the sunroom.

Hannah smiled at Caleigh. "Enjoy your nap."

"Thanks grandma," Caleigh grinned, rubbing her shoulder.

An hour later, Aaron and Beth walked into the sunroom. "Kids down?" John asked.

"It was easy," Beth smiled.

"What's the score John?" Aaron asked.

"Freddie just hit a two-run homer. They're up five to two."

Just then, the Marlins' Jazz Chisholm lined a hanging break ball from Max Fried towards right field. Ronald Acuña raced towards the fence to track the ball down. He leapt to try to catch it and landed awkwardly, falling to the ground.

Zach yelled for someone to get the loose ball in the outfield as Chisholm raced around the bases. He easily scored an inside the park homerun. However, all attention was on Acuña, still down on the warning path. The Braves outfield players along with Freddie and Ozzie went out to check on him. The Braves trainers rushed out of the dugout. Zach went out to the mound to watch with Max.

Watching the replay on the TV, Jack shook his head and swam to the side of the pool towards Dave. He put his forearms on the pool apron and then laid his head on his arms, crying. Dave got out of his chair and squatted down by Jack, rubbing his head. "Hang in there Champino."

"We can't lose Ronnie Uncle Dave," Jack responded, looking at him in tears. Miguel and Rashad swam up to Jack, each of them putting their arm around Jack's shoulder. Aaron came up to Dave and the boys, shaking his head at Dave.

Zach pulled his truck into the garage of the Lawrenceville home. With the usual July heat and humidity, he let the truck run. He put his head against the headrest of his seat and shook it, taking some time for himself. After a few minutes, he shut the truck off and pushed the button on the electronic system to shut the door down. Getting out of the truck, he pulled out his luggage bag and backpack and smiled at Lexie barking at the door. He walked into the home and rubbed down Lex and Molly. Caleigh met him in the entryway. "It's not good, is it?" she asked.

Zach pulled her into a hug, shaking his head. "No, it's not. They think it's a torn right ACL. Ronnie has an MRI tomorrow."

"I'm sorry," Caleigh said as the twins sped towards their dad.

Zach kissed her. "Thanks babe." Zach scooped up his children, smiling, giving them hugs, kisses and tickles as he came into the home. Aaron and Beth looked at Caleigh. She sadly shook her head at them. Dave pulled Jack to his side.

"Zach?" Jack asked.

"Bro, one thing at time," putting his children down on their feet. "I need a beer and dinner."

"I'll get the beer," Jack said, heading to the garage.

"I've got the dinner," Beth smiled, pulling out the plate of the leftovers of the BBQ rib dinner from the fridge and putting it into the microwave.

Zach deeply hugged his grandparents. "Welcome to my life," he smiled at them. He looked at his grandfather. "You ready for your taste of it?"

"I can't wait Zach," John smiled.

"We leave at seven tomorrow morning," Zach said, taking a large swig of the beer bottle Jack gave him. "The charter flight leaves at nine."

"We're packed up and ready," Aaron said.

"Except for my shaving kit and meds," John added.

"Everything else is ready as well," Caleigh smiled. "Enjoy tonight."

"I will," Zach said, sitting down at the nook counter as Beth put the plate of warmed-up leftovers in front of him.

"And Ronnie?" Jack asked.

"They think it's his ACL. He's not going to Denver with us. He's having an MRI done tomorrow here in Atlanta."

"Zach, you've lost so many. Travis. Marcel. And now Ronnie?" Jack complained.

"Jack, it's part of pro sports. People have to step up. And if you haven't noticed Jack, we're still three games ahead in first place," Zach said between bites. He pulled Taylor up into his lap as he finished his beer.

"Another one?" Aaron nodded.

"No thanks dad. I will take a glass of milk please." Beth opened the fridge as Caleigh pulled a glass out of the cupboard.

"Jack, it was tough to lose Travis. He was part of last year's fantastic team, taking over catching for me. Marcel getting hurt was a big hole as well." He looked at Jack. "But with him getting arrested for beating his wife, he's persona non grata. You're right. Ronnie is a huge loss. People are going to have to step up. And we have to trust that Alex will make some moves to help us."

John looked at Zach. "I watch enough baseball to know that Jonathan Lucroy was a big pick up."

"He is grandpa," Zach smiled. "And I'm glad Alex finally brought him up to back me. A-Jack was OK. But he's too young and still has a lot to learn. Luc is a veteran player. It takes a lot of pressure off me with him being my back-up."

"And Jack, look what Alex and the front office did with Orlando Arcia. He's always had pop in his bat. But he got gobbled up on some hard hit balls and lost his confidence playing shortstop. They moved him to left field at Gwinnett, which he excelled at, brought him up and he's contributing. He had two huge hits for us yesterday. Everyone thinks we're a bunch of guys that get to play a game we love. And get paid for it."

"No kidding," Dave snarked.

Zach shook his head at Dave with a smile. "Yeah, Uncle Dave. I know." Dave rubbed his shoulder with a smile. "But bottom line. This game is still tough with the competition we have. And injuries are part of the game. If guys like Dansby, Austin and others step up, which they have the ability to do, I think this is going to our finest hour."

"You've got the skipper to lead that," Jack smiled.

Zach shook his head. "I saw Snit come out of the dugout when Ronnie got hurt. His body language said it all. 'What more can happen?' I'm really proud of how the team handled the rest of the game today."

Zach finished his dinner and looked at Taylor. "You OK with us guys doing our thing the next couple of days?"

"Yup daddy," she smiled. "I go shopping with Grandma and Gram-Gram."

Zach winked at Dave. "I smell plastic burning."

"Big time," Dave smiled back.

Zach helped Caleigh give the kids a bath. They came downstairs for bedtime snacks. John, Jack and Dave were already enjoying theirs. "Look you two," Zach smiled. "Gram-Gram made strawberry shortcake." Jack and Dave were standing in the kitchen. John, Aaron and Beth were sitting at the nook counter.

"Daddy?" Trev asked as Zach put him in Aaron's lap.

"It's the bomb Trev," Zach smiled.

"Word," Jack and Dave said together.

Beth took Taylor from Zach. "You'll love it," she smiled at her. Grandma's shortcake with fresh strawberries was a hit.

"Thanks grandma," Zach smiled, pulling her into a hug. "Just what I needed tonight."

"Gram-Gram," Trev said. "It was bomb," he cheekily smiled.

Hannah smiled. "You sound like your daddy about twenty-five years ago." Zach kissed her cheek as the rest all smiled.

By nine that night, John and Hannah were in the guesthouse, already in bed. The twins were in bed as well. Jack was enjoying "me time" on his iPad in his bedroom. It was just Zach and Caleigh, standing in the kitchen. Aaron, Beth and Dave were sitting at the nook counter.

Zach pulled four glasses out of the cupboard, put ice cubes in them from the fridge door and set them down in front of the three at counter. He pulled out the scotch bottle from another cupboard as Caleigh pulled out the bottle of Bailey's from the fridge. "Yes, please," Beth smiled. Caleigh poured her a Bailey's.

"Just scotch for me," Dave said.

"Gee Uncle Dave; that's a newsflash," Zach smiled, pouring his drink. "Dad?"

"I'll take the Bailey's as well," Aaron smiled. Zach poured for his dad with Caleigh adding the Bailey's. Zach poured himself some scotch and Caleigh added the wonderful cream cordial.

Dave looked at Zach. "You two did a helluva job on the guesthouse," he proudly smiled.

"Thanks Uncle Dave," Zach beamed. "I had some time last year to design it," he winked. "Mike, our general contractor from the first re-build, gave me some hints to make it work. I'm the civil engineer, so doing a home design was fun. But I needed help. He got me in contact with his preferred home designer to get pointers." Aaron and Dave looked at Zach. "Doing the design right for the plumbing, HVAC and electricity. I learned a lot," Zach said. He looked at Caleigh. "And I had some help," he smiled, kissing Caleigh's cheek.

Caleigh took Zach's glass and had a sip. She looked at the three at the counter. "The baby is fully developed. Trust me," she smiled, rubbing her side. "One sip won't hurt."

"Maybe that might make someone sleep tonight," Beth smiled.

"Let's hope," Caleigh smiled. "And I've got my back support tonight," she added, putting her arm around Zach.

The lights were out on Delta Queen Avenue by ten.

-00CM00-

Everyone was up and rolling by six the next morning. Except the twins. Everyone from the guesthouse was in the main home by six-thirty, including Dave. But only John and Aaron were dressed for the day. Zach smiled at them, coming down the steps with his bag and backpack. Jack joined them coming out of his room with the same.

Caleigh, Beth and Hannah still in their bathrobes, gave cups of coffee to John and Aaron. Dave shook his head at the cup they offered with him wearing the usual morning Hotchner before shower attire. "No thanks. I'm on AL. After they get out the door, I'm going back to bed." Zach rubbed his shoulder.

Hannah looked at Zach. "What about Trevor?"

Zach smiled. "He's a last minute wake-up to get him on the pot and his clothes changed. I hope, fervently, he conks back out on the plane."

"What about breakfast?" Jack asked.

"McD's bro on the way to the airport," Zach smiled at him.

"That works," Jack yawned back.

The car service vehicle hired by the Braves pulled into the driveway at ten minutes to seven. Dave helped Aaron carry out the luggage and Trev's car seat to the vehicle. "It's not a limo?" Dave snarked at Aaron. That got him the Hotchner glare.

They went back inside to Caleigh kissing Trevor with Zach holding him. "Be good for daddy and grandpa." She kissed him again. "And have a wonderful time."

"Kay momma," he yawned, putting his head back down on Zach's shoulder.

Hannah hugged John as Beth kissed Aaron. "Enjoy this Hotchner," Beth whispered in his ear.

Aaron kissed her again. "I'm going to," he smiled, nodding at John. Beth brightly smiled at him.

Dave smiled, rubbing Aaron's shoulder. "You too Champino," Dave grinned, giving Jack a big hug.

"I will Uncle Dave. Promise," Jack smiled.

Beth hugged him. "You got the Uncle Dave sermon." She kissed his cheek. "That's all I'll add."

"Thanks Beth," Jack smiled at her, hugging her again. "Love you."

"Love you too," Beth smiled back at Jack.

Zach kissed Beth as well, pulling her into a one-armed hug while holding Trev. "Loves you. Take care of my bride."

Beth smiled. "She will be spoiled and pampered and we'll have a wonderful time. Love you too. And Zach." Moving to the door, he stopped to look at her. "You enjoy this as well."

"Given," he smiled. "Love you." Beth rubbed his arm with her brightest smile.

"Have fun grandma," Zach said, kissing Hannah, giving her a hug.

"You too," she smiled back at him, rubbing Trev's back.

"Bye Gram-Gram," Trev mumbled, giving her a kiss.

"What about my smoochie?" Beth smiled at him.

Trev gave her a kiss. "Bye grandma. Love you too." Beth kissed his cheek.

They all went out the door as the guys started getting into the SUV. Zach kissed Caleigh again. "Zach," she started.

Zach smiled. "I got the message. Thanks for backing this."

Caleigh pulled him and Trev into a hug the best she could. "This is for you," she said, nodding at Trevor. "And him. Plus someone else," she nodded at John getting into the SUV. "Make memories."

"Got it babe," Zach smiled, kissing her again. He handed Trev to his dad, already in the SUV and waved Jack in to get seated. He looked at Dave. "Thank you Uncle Dave," he smiled.

"For what? I'm on my AL," Dave smiled. "Have an amazing time Zach."

"Thanks Uncle Dave," Zach smiled, climbing into the SUV.

By nine-thirty that morning, Trevor was curled up in Zach's lap on the Braves' chartered Delta airline 737 jet. They were in the first row of "economy seats" of the jet, if you could call it that. The seating area of the specialized 737 jet was maximum room for everyone. They were both sleeping with Jack leaning against Zach, sleeping as well. Aaron, sitting with John, nodded at the three of them across the aisle. "I think I'm going to join them."

"Me too," John smiled.

They all woke an hour later as the plane started to hit the usual turbulence approaching the Rocky Mountains. Trev looked at Zach. "Daddy, I need poop."

"I hear that," Zach said, setting Trev on his feet in the aisle. "Head towards the pilots."

Jack followed them out. "I'm heading the other way."

John looked at Aaron. "I need to follow him." Aaron got out of his seat and smiled at John. "You sure?"

"Damn the torpedoes son. My new hips are working fine," John winked at Aaron, getting into the aisle.

All the Braves' front office execs, sitting in first class, smiled at Zach and Trevor heading to the bathroom. Zach put his hand on Trev's shoulder. "Trevor, say hi to John and Karen."

John and Karen Schuerholz smiled at Trev. "Hey you," John smiled at Trev.

"Hi," Trev shyly smiled back.

"Sorry you two," Zach smiled. "We're on a mission."

"Go," Karen grinned. "We understand."

Five minutes later, Zach opened the bathroom door. They saw Andy and AJ waiting in the aisle. AJ, in all of her princess glory, put her hands on her hips. "Uncle Zach, did you poop too?" John and Karen were sitting in the front row of first class, with Alex and Christina Anthropolous across the aisle that was by the bathroom. They all softly laughed.

"Nope AJ," Trev said. "Just me." Schuerholz smiled at him and gave Trev a high-five.

Zach rubbed AJ's shoulder as Trev took off down the aisle. "I leave that big job to getting into the hotel room with your dad."

"Thank you for that," Andy snarked, getting AJ into the bathroom. The execs laughed more.

Aaron, still standing in the seating area, scooped up Trev as Freddie and Charlie Freeman got out of their seats. Zach joined the group. Freddie looked at Zach. "How's the line?"

Zach smiled. "It's just the Princess Minton."

"My daughter resembles that remark," Victoria snarked with Gabe waking up in her lap. Chelsea Freeman yawned a bit, smiling at the conversation.

Ozzie Albies got out of his seat and stepped into the aisle, stretching out a bit. "Yes she does," he snarked. Zach pointed at him with a smile.

"I heard that Oz," Victoria snarked back. The group all laughed.

Jack came back up the aisle. "Zach?"

"What bro?" Jack nodded a few rows back at Jose and Kelly still conked out. Zach smiled. "Jack, they got on the jet this morning at Reagan around four to get on this plane." Zach grinned more. "And you know how much they really love dealing with all the munchkins," he said, nodding around.

Jack giggled his now high schooler laugh. "Yup. They're DINKs."

"Jack?" John, joining the group, asked with an edge.

"Grandpa, I'm being respectfully of their life choices," Jack defended.

John looked at Zach. "Grandpa, DINKs is Double Income No Kids," he smiled.

"Got it," John said. He looked at Jack. You're off the hook," he smiled. Jack grinned back at him. "And Jose is off my leach list." he winked.

Zach laughed. "Uncle Dave talked you down."

"Yup, he did," Grandpa Brooks smiled. "Again." Zach and Aaron shared a smile.

By one that afternoon, the group was in Zach's suite at the Oxford Hotel in downtown Denver. It featured a king sized bedroom with its own bathroom, along with a dining and living room space and a kitchenette. There was another room with two double beds at the other end of the suite with its own bathroom as well. Jack looked around. "It's a lot like a Marriott suite." Trev wandered off to explore.

Aaron looked at Zach. "What's your plan?"

Zach smiled. "That's up to you and grandpa." They looked at him. "Can you two put up with each of your snoring."

Aaron looked at John. "I sleep on my right side."

John smiled. "I sleep on my left. We're roommates." Aaron nodded his acceptance with his own smile. John looked at Zach. "What about you, Jack and Trev?"

Zach smiled. "The couch pulls out for Jack. Otherwise, I have a king-sized bed." He looked at Jack. "I think it can fit us all. And I don't have to worry about Trev falling out of bed with you on the other side."

"Just don't fart and snore," Jack zinged at his brother with his broad smile.

"Promise on one," Zach smiled back.

Jack shook his head. "Yeah. I'm used to that. So I'll be the other backstop for Trev."

Zach looked at his watch. "Bro, we've got to go."

Aaron rubbed Zach's shoulder. "Grandpa and I got this," he smiled. "You two enjoy the media afternoon and the home run derby. Zach, we'll be fine," Aaron added.

"Thanks dad," Zach smiled. He pulled Trev into a big hug. "You be good for grandpa and gramp-gramp."

"Promise daddy," Trev said. Aaron and John smiled. Zach and Jack headed out the door.

Getting to the lobby, they met up with Freddie, Andy and Ozzie along with Jenny Porter, the Braves' front office player assistant. They were soon joined by Alex. Jenny nodded at the coach van that pulled up to the entrance of the hotel. "That's ours," she smiled. They headed out the door and got on.

"Where's Charlie?" Zach asked Freddie.

Freddie shook his head. "He's not into media time. He just wants to meet Fernando," Freddie smiled. "Chelsea is bringing him over later for the homerun derby."

Zach nudged Jack, who was wearing his latest replica of Zach's Braves jersey that fit his growing body. "What gives with you doing the media time? I know it's not your favorite."

Jack shrugged. "Maybe I can meet some of the other guys while you're doing your thing."

Ozzie smiled. "Who Jack?"

"I'm with Charlie on meeting Fernando," Jack smiled back. "But…" he added, letting the sentence hang.

Andy smiled. "Mike Trout is the big one."

Jack grinned. "Yup."

Zach nudged his shoulder again. "Make it happen JP," he grinned. Andy, Freddie and Ozzie smiled at the brothers. Jenny winked at Alex, sending a text.

After they arrived at the stadium, the players made their way to the locker room. Jenny rubbed Jack's shoulder. "You might need this," she smiled, handing Jack a Sharpie.

Coming out the dugout, the NL players milled around, waiting for their time with the media. Each session would be four players at individual interview stations. The American League players had the same on the third base side by their dugout. Jack scored his wanted autographs on his jersey, meeting the rest of the NL team.

He walked up to Zach. "When are you doing the media thing?"

"In five minutes," Zach responded. "What are you going to do?"

Jack looked at him. "No security speech?"

"Answer my question," Zach zinged back.

"Honestly Zach?" Jack asked. Zach smiled at him. "Make grandma and Aunt Kim, backing grandpa and Uncle Sean an easy Christmas present." He smiled. "Aunt Jess does the buy on a big shadow box for this jersey that they'll pitch in on." Jack looked at Zach. "With autographs from everyone," he smiled. "Both these teams are the future of baseball or Hall of Famers."

"Like Trout," Zach smiled.

"Yup," Jack smiled back.

"Rock it," Zach grinned.

Jack looked at him. "I'll ask again. No big security speech from you?"

Zach beaded a look into his brother's eyes. "Jack, you'll be sixteen in two and a half months. You have your driver's permit and getting to practice driving with Beth. Get on your knees every night thanking God for that."

"I'm in," Jack smiled, sharing a fist bump with him. "How was mom with you?"

Zach smiled. "A nervous wreck, which made me nervous wreck."

Jack laughed. "I still miss her Zach. But I'm lucky to have Beth."

"We both are Jack," Zach smiled, rubbing his shoulder. "And let me guess: you two only go out driving when the team is out."

Jack beamed. "Rock solid profile bro." He looked at Zach with his still impish smile. "I'm not ready to do dad."

Zach rubbed his shoulder. "Bro, that's the only good thing I got from witness protection."

Jack laughed, looking at his brother. "I so get that," he grinned. Freddie, Andy and Ozzie, hanging out near the brothers, smiled at the exchange.

Zach rubbed Jack's shoulder more. "But you know what you can do more?" Jack looked at him. Zach smiled. "Get Uncle Dave to take you down to the FBI driving course at Quantico," he winked. "I feel the need; the need for speed," Zach smiled, quoting the line from Top Gun.

"Really?" Jack asked.

"Really," Zach smiled. "You need that experience."

Jack grinned at Zach. "You're the best."

Zach smiled at him. "I'm about to get better," he winked as the AL players filtered out of their dugout. "Yo! Brookie!"

"Damn you Cob," Mike Trout smiled back.

"Brookie?" Jack asked.

"Trout," Zach said. "As in brook trout?"

"That sucks bro," Jack snarked.

"Yeah, it does Jack," Mike smiled, walking up to the brothers. Zach and Mike shared a handshake and a hug. "How ya doing Cob?"

Zach smiled. "Glad to have you in the big show. We've missed you the past couple of years."

Mike shook his head. "You know injuries." He looked at Zach, and the rest of the Braves players standing around. "You guys have been snake struck. I'm sorry about Ronnie," he added.

"Thanks Mike," Freddie said, shaking his hand.

Mike Trout smiled at Andy. "You gonna throw me that new nasty slider of yours?"

"I throw what the Cobra tells me so I don't get my ass kicked into oblivion," Andy grinned back.

"Geez Cob," Mike smiled at Zach.

"Someone has to kick his ass," Zach snarked back.

Mike smiled at Jack, curling a finger at him. "Come on," he grinned. "You're with me."

Jack looked at Zach. "So much for letting me trust security protocols," he growled.

"So much for me making what you want happen," Zach growled back.

Mike looked at the brothers. "Cob, you didn't tell me I had to referee a family fight."

Freddie smiled. "You're not Mike. Just don't tell Jack his big brother is right," he winked.

Jack looked at Freddie. "Sometimes, I don't like you." Mike, Andy, and Ozzie joined Zach in laughing at Jack. Freddie smiled back at Jack.

Mike rubbed Jack's shoulder. "Busted dude. Let's go."

"I know," Jack dejectedly said.

Mike rubbed Jack's shoulder again. "Enter the dark side," he smiled at Jack, pulling his shoulder to the AL side of the field.

The Homerun Derby at Coors Field in Denver was early in that time zone. ESPN wanted it in prime time. Zach and Jack, along with Andy and Ozzie, were sitting with Freddie and Charlie, enjoying the show. But because of the time change, they walked back into the suite a little after eight.

John smiled at boys. "Have a good day guys?"

Jack held up his jersey. "This will need some major shadow box ideas from Aunt Jess," he grinned.

John smiled. "Christmas made more easy for Jessica," he winked. "And a bunch of others," he smiled.

Zach shook his head. "Now show grandpa the big time one." Jack held up an Angels traveling gray uniform of Mike Trout's that was autographed with a huge grin on this face.

John smiled. "Who's gonna cover that shadow box?"

Zach grinned back at him. "Cal, me and the kids with a birthday looming." Zach looked around.

John smiled at him. "Grandpa is giving him a bath," he nodded towards the bedroom that he and Aaron were sharing. Zach headed towards it.

Aaron was just pulling Trev out of the tub as Zach walked into the bathroom. He smiled at the scene. "How ya doin' buddy?"

"Grandpa wash my hair," Trev grinned as Aaron dried him.

Zach looked at his dad with his mischievous grin. "How'd that go grandpa?"

"It's like riding a bike. You don't forget how to do it," Aaron grinned back.

Just then, Zach's cell pinged in his pocket. He pulled it out and smiled at the picture Victoria had sent to him and Caleigh. It was John holding Trev's hand as Aaron was holding Gabe's as they were walking back to the hotel earlier after the group of Hotchners and Mintons had dinner together.

Taking care of yellow highlights for my international readers. Dinner rolls are a little smaller, a bit more "square like" and "fluffier" than hamburger buns. Yes, I'm sticking with the fluffier comment.

NL is the National League. Once again, there are two pro baseball leagues in the US. The NL and the AL aka the American League.
