A/N: Sorry, this is late again I'm rapping up third quarter also tomorrow I know it will be late because tomorrow I'm cleaning the house with my family spring break starts the day after so I hope I can focus on this during that time on to the chapter.
Aro's Point of View
I ran though the doorway to see Rebecca, Bella, the Cullen's, and the small group of my coven in the family room. She got up and apparated over to me the second she saw me. "Oh good! You're finally here! It's time for you to learn how to play charades!"
She was excited I could tell if her face was any indication. She walked back to the center of the room "okay! so for those that don't know what charades is, it's a game where you make movements without speaking that describe a word or phrase. Then someone from your team has to guess what it is that you're describing. For obvious reasons Alice and Edward can't be on the same team, just like me and Felix can't be."
She took a breath, I was surprised she had gotten all that out without breaths but somehow, she did. "Now, find your teammates and let the game begin!" I was unsure what to do, that was the full explanation? I was on a team with Bella, Edward, Emmett and Esme Cullen, Rebecca was there as well.
Currently Esme was making a gesture I couldn't be quite sure how to describe, her hands were up and making a semicircle in the air. "Rainbow?" Rebecca guessed a "yes" was heard and the other team said their guess, "writing?" Carlisle was making squiggly lines in the air. "Yes, but it was more of a writer."
"Aro?" hmm, "yes?" "it's you're turn." Oh, my turn, I picked up the piece of paper of what I was supposed to act out. *Kumquat* how-? How was I supposed to do a kumquat? um…, a kumquat looks like an orange lemon right? I went to the kitchen and found one, I pointed at it then something orange repeatedly Rebecca looked like she was thinking, and I felt like an idiot.
Rebeca's Point of View
I had easily guessed many of the cards, but this was tuff, what was he hinting at? An orange lemon would be too easy, what's orange and looks like a lemon then? "kumquat?" he seemed relived "yes mia cara (my dear)"
Aro's Point of View
I was fairly relieved that my mate had gotten the reference, when I stood next to her, she whispered to me. "You know a kumquat would be very difficult to act out, you did very well." My inner beast purred; I definitely had to ask my brothers if this was what it really felt like, of course, I had felt their emotions through the years but seeing it through someone else's eyes wasn't as real as experiencing something for yourself.
Time skip (sorry I want her in Volterra)
The week passed by at an abnormally slow pace it was lunchtime now, "cara (dear) have you told Charlie yet?" she winced, "I just never could, I know that when I leave Bella will be there but after that I don't even know how much time he'll be alone. Bella and I will be vampires and unable to talk to him.
I want to tell him I'm going but I don't want him worrying about me leaving, and then, the thought of my death. I don't want him to go through that pain." Hmm "you know you can always send a letter or call him; you don't have to fake your death."
She perked up a bit, "you would do that for me?" "of course," we shared a kiss and when she pulled away breathless "thank you." I ran a hand through her hair and whispered to low for her to hear "always for you"
Rebeca's Point of View
He had allowed me to keep in contact with Charlie as one of the last parts of my family I couldn't thank him enough for it. I kissed him and breathlessly I said, "thank you."
At this point I was heading to Charlie's so I could tell him about my plans. Alec and Jane had become good enough friends with me that they finally stopped calling me 'my queen.' "So, what's the rest of the coven like?" I strike up for conversation. "Well," Jane said "for the most part were pretty friendly and welcoming between ourselves-" Alec stepped in "-but with other covens we put up a mask-" "-to keep them in line "Jane finished.
The two of them did this sometimes, so much like forge and Gred I mused. I got to my house by then and they disappeared, how to explain to your uncle that you met twins through your teacher boyfriend that are actually vampires? Exactly you can't
Technically he was no longer my teacher so we could finally be together in front of others "hey Charlie can I talk to you for a second?" I heard a shout of "of course I'm in the living room" I walked over and sure enough he was in a recliner a beer on the tabletop. "um Charlie? I had an opportunity to study abroad, and I took it I'm leaving on Monday for Italy." His features weren't sure how to arrange themselves, "I know that you want to travel the world but are you sure? Do you have the funds to live a stable lifestyle? -" "Charlie!" I cut him off "yes, I have everything taken care of don't worry." I added "oh, and before you ask yes, I'm sure that I'm going."
He sighed "I'm sorry it's just, Italy it's a bit sudden." "I know and I have to thank you for the last few months they were wonderful" he, looked like he thought of something "is this because of the Cullen's? because if it is I can ask them to stay away-" I had to cut him off mid-sentence. "No! of course not, I'm going because I want to go learn abroad." He took a deep breath "okay." He put his hands up in a way that said he wasn't going to argue anymore "fine, but you'd better write to me"
