For living beings who were not Valkyrie, only one night's refuge was allowed at a time in Valhalla. Mabel set each of them up in a room.

When Kid came back, he seemed lighter, unburdened, and yet, there was a mood that Mabel didn't want to push. She led him to a room and closed the curtains so he could have time to process alone. Zabu and Alligator had settled on his floor on some cushions. She patted both their heads and removed Alligator's horns then conjured them a snack.

"Watch over him tonight," she said, and both animals nodded.

For the older Loki she found a grand room filled with ornate gold and cream plaster, a four poster bed swathed in curtains. He tried to act nonchalant, but she could see the appreciation in his eyes. When he'd come back, he'd asked to see Frigga and Odin. Mabel opened each portal one by one. Then she'd sat with the animals in the great hall until all were done.

She had left her Loki after a few minutes to talk alone with his mother. This was their moment.

"Thank you for everything Sigyn," said Classic before she left. "You've no idea… You've no idea how much…"

She took his hand. "You did the heavy lifting," she said.

He nodded and kissed her knuckles, then closed the doors.

She breathed a deep sigh and entered their room finding Loki sitting on the bed, jacket gone, leaning forward and eyes far away. He awoke from his reverie and turned his head. She watched as he took a deep breath, standing to his full height, his intense blue eyes never leaving hers.

She didn't know how she reached him, but then she was in his arms, and he was pulling her tight to him, kissing her so that the breath left her lungs. He was comfort and warmth itself.

When he finally pulled away, he let her eyes adjust back from cloudiness as his forehead rested against hers.

"You don't know what today has meant to me…"

"Sh," she said, placing a finger over his lips. "I'd do it again and again." She took his horns off and placed them on the nightstand.

"How can I repay?"

"I didn't bring you here to get anything from you. I did it because I love you. Besides, you woke me up. You pulled me from my slavery. I'll never be able to thank you enough." She took fistfuls of his shirt, pulling him closer. His scent enveloped her.

"I want to show you everything," he said, his hands running through her hair.

Her eyes closed at the tingles settling low. His deft hands, working at her neck. "Show me…"

He captured her lips again, tasting her. He lifted her into his arms, laid her down on the bed. She reached an arm out for him as he began unbuttoning his shirt.

…..

"I don't want to leave," he said, his hands twined with hers, pressing them into the mattress above her head as he looked into her eyes.

She sighed deeply. "I don't either. Let's stay like this forever." She rolled him over and kissed his throat.

"It feels like it's been Eons," he said. He flipped her underneath him, pulled her thighs up around him. "I want to give you the stars my love. I want to bring them down to shower you with light, so I can see every curve, highlighting the marble that's your skin. Kiss your soft lips forever. I want everyone to know the goddess you are. That you belong to me and only me."

"I do," she gasped, gripping his back, thrusting into him. "Only you."

"I'd call down the Nine realms for you."

"I don't want the Nine Realms. Offer me gold, offer me riches, I'd turn it all down for you."

He growled and sped his hips. "You reflect me. The opposite of my mischief, the opposite of my darkness."

"I didn't see myself until I met you," she breathed, her nails scratching at his back.

"My love for you is boundless. It takes up all of time. Ord kan ikke beskrive min kjaerlighet til deg," he whispered in Asgardian.

"Jeg elsker dig," she said back, crying out.

He drove her over the brink again, their open mouths together as they stared into each other's eyes.

The scent of her hair was intoxicating. Asgard seemed to live inside her. Wild roses and fresh dew on a Spring morning. She was soft and pliable in his arms. He nuzzled into the warmth of her neck.

"Have we heard from Scarlet yet?" he asked, his arms around her from behind, nibbling on her ear.

"I haven't checked," she said with a laugh. "I've been a little preoccupied."

He rolled her toward him, staring down, memorizing her features. He tilted her chin and bent down to kiss her softly. "Sorry about that," he said, his grin wide.

"No you're not," she said pulling him down to her lips again.

"Mm-mm."

"But I should check," she said muffled against his mouth. "It's been over an hour."

He groaned and rolled off reaching for the TemPad on the nightstand. He handed it to her as she sat up and punched in her code.

"What is it?" he asked, his hand on her shoulder. Her face had turned to stone. The TemPad fell to the bed.

"It's… It's all… They've failed. Look."

Loki took the TemPad and scrolled through the messages. "Oh my god. Mobius."

"Mabes, the timeline is branching like crazy. I don't know what Sylvie did. What's going on on your end?"

"Mabel answer me! There's something happening. The TVA is in chaos."

"Mabel, we need you to implement the plan!"

Mabel put her hand over her chest. "She sent these at the same time."

Loki ran his hand through his hair. "Something must have happened quickly."

"No, look. All of them were sent at the same time but they came an hour apart each. But an hour ago there was nothing when I checked. The TemPad's are supposed to be synced in real time on the TVA's clock."

"What does that mean?"

"We need to implement the plan."

"Which is?"

"How are you feeling about another apology?"

He knit his eyebrows together.

"We're going to find the other person you've been longing to see." She leaned over and kissed his forehead.

"You mean… You can't mean…" His eyes lit with excitement.

"We're going to find Thor. We need Heimdall."

His face split in a grin. He took her cheeks in his hands. "Oh, Darling, I love you."

"For all time?" she asked, snaking her arms around his neck.

"Always."

This is the end for now... at least until season two comes out ;)
