CHAPTER 11! FINALLY AFTER A LONG WHILE, WE'RE BACK. ONCE AGAIN THANK YOU FOR READING THE STORY TILL THIS STAGE AND I HOPE YOU'VE LIKED WHAT YOU'VE READ SO FAR. THIS ONE'S AN IMPORTANT EPISODE, BUT BEFORE WE GO INTO IT, TIME TO REPLY TO THE REVIEWERS:

lordgemini: Thanks for the consistent reviewing, it really helps me improve :D Yes, Sierra's plotline was kinda clear that it would end soon. I'm happy you like the interactions as well. I try to give emphasis on development, though I don't always succeed, I do try my best.

Aleheather4ever: The only reason that's happening is because of a point Dakota mentioned in one of previous chaps regarding Alejandro. Thanks for reviewing and we'll see what more I can do :D

Owashimoto: Thanks for reading the story and I'm glad you like it. Yes, it will be explained at the right time mate :D

HUGE THANKS TO savageboss and Owashimoto FOR MARKING THIS FIC AS A FAV AND savageboss AND .129173 FOR GIVING A FOLLOW.

ALRIGHT, WITH THAT LET'S DIVE IN.

I DO NOT OWN TOTAL DRAMA OR ANY OF ITS CHARACTERS.

"Last time on Total Drama Mayhem…

We had our second night challenge. The campers were made to find an effigy in the forest, the effigy of the one who denied me a second All Star season, Don, and run to the opposite end of the island and burn it before sunrise. Some did it successfully, others were splashed by water. Earlier that day Eva and Duncan went in search of the 'Night Owl' and bagged some clues of them. Will they find out who that is? Gwen and Duncan patched up their friendship, Courtney and Heather planned their way forward and along with Justin played some mind games on Sierra making her go insane during the challenge. Does he have both beauty and brains? Former, yes. Latter, debatable. We also saw some heartwarming moments between Dawn and DJ. When are they gonna confess man? The Bulls were leading 3-0 and looked like runaway winners when suddenly, the Tigers made a swift comeback and snatched victory away from them. In a tight campfire ceremony with just a difference of one vote, it was Sierra's turn to take a ride on the Boat of Losers. She might've lost out on a million big ones but was happy as she won the heart of the one she was yearning for. And as a tenth episode special, we had our first team transfer with Harold joining the Raging Bulls. Twenty two campers remain, as we move into episode eleven and the tenth challenge episode. What is Lightning and Jo doing back on the island? How will Heather manage her doubts on Dakota? What will happen to Tyler's alliance after losing its primary purpose? All this and more in today's episode of TOTAL… DRAMA... MAYHEM!"

It was midnight in Wawanakwa. The scene showed the inside of the male cabins of both teams. Most of them were sound asleep. Bunny lay sleeping on DJ's chest breathing softly, Harold and Cody had their consoles still lying on the bed, Duncan had his headphones on though he was asleep. From there the female cabins were shown, Courtney and Dakota had their pink sleep masks on, Dawn shuffled in the bed while the other slept peacefully. The camera cut to three empty beds, one each in the Tigers' male and female cabin and the third in the Bulls' female cabin.

Quickly, the camera cut into the dark forest where someone walked into a cave. It was revealed to be Mal who entered the cave. He slowly walked up to a medium-sized rock inside. He scanned the cavern to see if anyone was there, once he confirmed himself, he pushed the said rock aside. A reasonably big square shaped trapdoor was revealed on moving the boulder. He pulled up the latch as the door opened up and climbed down the ladder to the bottom. Once there, he switched on the lights illuminating the room.

It was a huge room which had a lot of items stacked in the corners and on shelves. Most of them were used in the previous challenges like the explosives, spare parts of the ATVs and other vehicles, etc. Hanging on one of the walls was a huge portrait of Chris McLean. In the middle of the room, kept on a pedestal, protected by a cuboidal glass case, was The Briefcase-the silver case which contained the big bucks. It even had a few notes sticking out of it.

Mal smirked as he looked to the centre of the room. The reason why he had come down was right in front of his eyes. He walked to it casually and slowly lifted the glass case. The grin he had was wider than ever. He took the briefcase and carefully kept the glass case back into its position.

As he prepared to get out of the room, he heard rattling behind one of the shelves. He already knew what was making the sound so he walked to it and looked behind the shelf.

There was a bunny cage and lying inside it was a rabbid, one of the mutated rabbits from the first night challenge. It was hitting the cage vigorously making the rattling noise, it's expression was fierce. Once the small being took notice of Mal, it's fierceness nullified almost instantly and was quickly replaced by fear. Mal smirked, looking evilly at it.

"I brought you a nice, comfy cage little guy. So stay quiet there. I don't think you would've liked the other things I could've done to you" he said softly but at the same time, sinister.

Once he got back up into the cave with the briefcase and the cage along with the rabbid, he pushed the boulder back onto the trapdoor and clapped the dust off his hands. He took the briefcase and exited the cave.

Confessional: Mike/Mal

Still grinning, "Ever thought why I was roaming around at this hour? Well, I found this cave on the first day and what can I say, I love the darkness. Then a couple of days later I noticed there was some kinda wiring sticking out from the walls. I followed it and saw the trapdoor under the boulder. First time I went in that room, there were lasers protecting that case. So if there are lasers, then that wiring leads to the source of it. Going deeper into the cave, I found another room with controls to the security system and destroyed it. The rabbid?" he chuckled, "Chris used that little brat as some kind of secondary security. I didn't wanna hurt him too much but I had to fling him a few times to show him who I am. And the cage... well, thanks DJ." he smirked.

End Confessional: Mike/Mal

He took the rabbid out of the cage and put it in a green toque which he took out from his pocket, similar to the one Ezekiel owned, and threw it deeper into the cave. He left the cage behind and took the briefcase and exited the cave.

During all this, Eva was running around the forest. Now she had not one, but two purposes in her midnight endeavors- one, catching the night prowler and two, finding the idols.

She searched through many bushes and trees. But found nothing and only earned some splinters which she removed easily. She went to some thickets and rocky areas but still nothing to be found.

Suddenly she heard a running noise. She turned around and the next thing she knew, she was on the ground with someone on top of her. That someone was Izzy.

"What are you doing Izzy?"

"Aha! What are you doing here?" she countered.

"That wasn't the answer I wanted." the athlete replied.

"And that also wasn't the answer I wanted" she cackled.

"Get off me" Eva ordered, rolling her eyes. Izzy obeyed.

"Anyway, why are you up at this time?" the psycho hose beast asked.

"Nothing. Couldn't sleep so just walking around-"

Izzy cut in, "Looking for idols aren't you."

Eva gave in quickly, "Yeah fine, I am. Are you looking for them too?"

"Nah" Izzy replied, "I went to referee a boxing match between Sasquatchanakwa and Big Bear Brownie."

Eva raised an eyebrow in confusion but decided not to for further details, "Right."

Confessional: Izzy

"No seriously I did. The Sasquatchanakwa, let's call him Steve, tried to punch Brownie Bear but then Brownie took Steve by the arm and flung him. Then he charged at Steve but this time he punched Brownie on his cheek. Like Boom!" she cackled imitating the punch, "Steve didn't hold back and then he tried to go for the KO but at the same moment Brownie dodged and Ste-"

*Confessional goes on for 20 minutes with every little aspect of the match elaborated*

*Fast forward to the end*

"-Then I punched both of them and won the game with the most points. See here's my medal and some weird looking award" she laughed showing her gold medal and award to the camera. The award looked like one of the idols but she didn't take notice.

End Confessional: Izzy

"You want the award I got?" she asked Eva, showing it to her.

Eva saw it and instantly recognized it, not sure if Izzy was playing her, "Um, sure?"

"Ok here you go" Izzy gave it to her.

They suddenly heard the sound of a twig snapping, it sounded like it had come from the mouth of the cave. Izzy and Eva glanced at each other then hid behind a rock at the side of the cave so that they could see the entrance to the cave.

They saw a figure come out from the cave carrying something. The person's back faced them and adding to that it was very dark so they couldn't recognize who it was or what they were carrying.

Eva adjusted herself to take a better look, but on doing so, ruffled a few leaves of the bush beside her. The sound made the person stop and look behind them. Luckily Izzy and Eva ducked behind the rock quick enough, avoiding the searching eyes.

The person scanned around once more before shrugging and walked into the forest.

On making sure they were gone, Eva got up and took out some leaves which got stuck in her hair.

"For god's sake I couldn't see the bastard's face" she muttered, annoyed at herself. "Please tell me at least you noticed."

Izzy wasn't responding, she kept looking at the forest where the person went into. Eva raised an eyebrow and called her name multiple times but it went in vain. The athlete looked at the psycho hose beast's face. She was breathing heavily as if she was scared. Her face showed a mix of shock and….. fear?

"Hey, Izzy. Izzy, Izz" Eva called a few more times before shaking her back into her senses.

"Wha-er-huh?" she looked around frantically after coming out of her trance.

Eva looked a little concerned, "You good Izzy? What's wrong?"

Izzy was still breathing heavily, "N-nothing, y'know just the usual, going into my own world."

"No, if you were in your own world you won't be scared and you'll have that weird, creepy smile" Eva debated.

"This one?" Izzy asked, making the said expression.

"You didn't have to show me that" the athlete said, cringing.

"Haha!"

Eva shook her head, "Anyway, what's bothering you?"

Izzy's smile immediately changed to fear. She sighed and sat down.

"Well, I saw who the cave guy was. I can't believe he's here."

Eva became curious, "You did? Who was it?"

"Mal."

Eva didn't look as surprised as she would've been, "How sure are you it's him"

"A hundred percent" Izzy said confidently, "I know Mal when I see him."

Eva punched her palm with her fist, "Outta my way I'm gonna whoop his ass."

But before she could chase down Mal, Izzy pulled her back.

"NO! You can't!"

"WHY NOT!" Eva shouted, she really wanted to beat up Mal.

"He's not as weak as you think. His build might suggest otherwise, but he's really strong" Izzy remarked.

"How do you know?" Eva questioned as she calmed herself down. "You know Mal outside the show?"

Izzy nodded, "Do I know him? He's the one who turned my brother's life upside down."

"What?!" Eva was shocked, "Damn, you serious?"

"Yeah, he even got him into juvie" Izzy added.

Eva couldn't believe what she was saying. Izzy narrated everything she had told Duncan a few episodes back to the athlete. She listened attentively. Eva could hear the pain in Izzy's voice as she narrated the incident.

After she had finished, Eva let out a heavy breath, "Well, that was different," she paused, "So where is Jason now?"

"He and my parents are somewhere in England right now" she replied, "Ever since he came outta juvie, Mom and Dad wanted to spend more time with him and enjoy so he could eventually try and turn a new leaf."

"That's good" Eva said, "But why didn't you go?"

"He needs it more than I do. If there's anyone who can change him back, it's mom and dad" she gave out a small smile, "I don't wanna get in the way and ruin that. Besides, I could patch things up with my Big O again which makes me happy."

Eva was seeing a different side of Izzy, a side that not a lot of people have seen. She was showing her true emotions, which she had kept hidden from the outside world, using her craziness as a facade.

"Don't worry we'll get him outta here soon" Eva assured confidently as she had the idol with her. Izzy smiled. "Now c'mon, let's get back to the cabins."

Confessional: Eva

"Izzy might be crazy but she's believable. Weirdly enough, she's among the few I tolerate. Seeing her like that was just… wow. The girl does have emotions." she looked at the idol and then at the camera, "So Duncan was right. It really is Mal. Well then, get ready twerp. I'll get him outta here for Izzy."

End Confessional: Eva

"You go ahead, I'll join back later" Izzy said. Eva shrugged as she jogged back to the cabin.

Izzy looked at the cave and went in.

It was 10 am and Wawanakwa was up and running- well most of them were. Some of the guys were still asleep. Trent and Noah were getting in some extra hours of shut eye.

Dawn was inside the cabin performing her routine morning meditation. Zoey was looking in her bag, looking at a figurine she had got from the last challenge.

"Zoey, are you ok?" the moonchild asked.

The redhead quickly hid the wooden statuette, back in her bag, "Y-yeah. Just looking through my stuff."

Eva was busy with her regular exercises and was joined by Tyler.

After finishing his drills, the jock went back into the cabin. He saw Ezekiel rummaging through the drawers.

The rest of the sleeping Tigers were woken up by the same shuffling noise by Ezekiel.

"I'll never get some sleep in this place" Noah remarked, annoyed, as he woke up from his bunk and rubbed his eyes.

"Dude what are you doing?" Trent asked groggily.

"I can't find my toque eh" the homeschooler replied, "You fellas seen it?"

"Oh yes, I found it under the drawers when I was searching for it in the dream I would've had, if you had let me sleep" Noah said sarcastically.

"Ok, normally I like your sarcasm, but that one didn't make a whole lotta sense" Trent said.

Noah looked at the musician, "That's the level of sarcasm you'll get for three hours of sleep."

"Three hours?" Trent looked confused.

"I'm not exaggerating. Gamer-jock here was playing in his console for two whole hours" Noah elaborated. He glared at Tyler, "Couldn't you kill that Boss level any quicker?!"

"HEY! If everybody else could sleep, why can't you." Tyler retorted, "And by the way, I didn't kill the Boss. So who's the real wrong one now."

Noah got more annoyed, "You wasted two hours of my precious sleep, and you didn't kill the one level you played?" he facepalmed, "None of us gained anything in those two hours!"

Tyler understood the statement after a considerable amount of time. "Ohhh, you're right. That level was so hard."

"There's an arrow blatantly pointing to the weapon you had to use to kill the Boss. That was the easiest Boss level you'll ever get in Golden Warriors" Noah explained, annoyance evident in his tone.

"Ohhh that's what the arrow was for" Tyler realized, "I thought it was telling me to break the weapon."

Noah couldn't understand his thinking, "Wha- Why, HOW?!"

"How do you know Golden Warriors?" the jock asked.

"Obviously cuz I play it" Noah replied.

Confessional: Noah

"What? You think I don't play video games? I'm a gamer who also likes to read books" he said, crossing his arms, "Weird combo, I know."

End Confessional: Noah

"Yo Noah, you could've told him to keep it down" Trent said.

"You think I didn't try that" Noah said, "When I told him, he thought his character was talking to him. And, he replied back."

Trent facepalmed, "Really Tyler?"
The jock was gonna reply but was hit on the face by his headband, which Zeke accidentally threw while rummaging through the drawers.

"Hey I was looking for my headband" Tyler said happily, "Thanks Zeke bro."

Right then, Duncan entered the cabin. The prairie boy threw more clothes behind his back, determined to find his toque. His next throw hit Duncan on the face. It was a teal shirt. The punk took the shirt from his face and he was clearly annoyed.

"Whichever one of you did that, you're toast" he saw that it was Ezekiel who was the guilty party. With his free hand, he turned Ezekiel around and held him up by the collar, "Do that one more time homeschool and you'll get a taste of the wedgies I gave back in school."

"You went to school?" Noah asked sarcastically.

Duncan smirked, "Those wedgies apply to you too." he warned

Noah raised his arms up in defeat.

"Aight, why did you throw this at me" the punk asked, raising the teal shirt. He looked at the garment closely.

"It wasn't on purpose man, I swear" Ezekiel pleaded but Duncan was more focused on the shirt.

"Who's drawer did you get this from?" he asked.

"The second from bottom" Ezekiel replied.

Duncan went in his thoughts for a few seconds. "I'll let you off for this time. You did me a favor." he said as he let him down.

Everyone present was confused.

Noah looked at Duncan, "Huh? How's that?"

"None of your business nerd" Duncan said as he exited the cabin with the shirt.

Confessional: Duncan

Showing the shirt to the camera, "Well what do we have here, a nice tear at the bottom. Guess who's is the second last drawer- Mal. And the torn part, it's with Eva." He crossed his arms and smirked, "Game over Mal."

End Confessional: Duncan

"Anyway, I'm heading to the mess hall. Maybe a cup of Chef's coffee-equivalent will kickstart my system" Noah said as he exited the cabin leaving Trent, Tyler and Ezekiel.

Tyler looked around the cabin making sure no one else was around.

"Trent, Zeke listen up."

Ezekiel turned to face the jock while Trent sat up on his bed.

"What's up?"

"I don't wanna get eliminated early again. This time Tyler will make the merge and hopefully win this whole thing" he announced, pumping his fists, "But to not get kicked out we need to work together."

"So an alliance?" Ezekiel asked.

"Yep."

"YES! I'M IN!" he shouted excitedly, "My first ever alliance! Thanks eh!"

"You're welcome" the jock smiled and turned to the musician, "Trent, you in?"

"I'll take any alliance if it's gonna take me to the merge" he replied.

"Hell yeah! We're strong" he declared, "We got Mike also with us."

"So what's our first move?" the homeschooler asked, excited.

"Mike and I discussed in the last challenge about how strong Eva is. She can single handedly crush all of us" Tyler explained, "So we have to take her down quickly."

Trent nodded, "Agreed. She's already doing really well. If we let her stay, our chances of the million are going down the drain."

"What do you think Zeke?" the jock asked, "You still in on the "they're girls" thing" he airquoted.

Ezekiel's eyes went wide open, his mind went back to the scenes when he said the sexist comment.

"No way eh! I've learnt that girls are really good in many things just like the guys. We're all equal."

Trent and Tyler smiled. "That's good bro. So we vote off Eva?"

"Sure eh."

Confessional: Tyler

He was smiling proudly, "Look at me, making alliances and leading with a plan. Hell yeah! This is the new winner Tyler" he flexed his biceps. "OWW CRAMP!" he shouted in pain as he fell to the floor.

End Confessional: Tyler

Breakfast was ready in the mess hall. Strangely, the hall didn't have the usual funny, questionable smell that came from the kitchen. Instead the hall was filled with a wonderful aroma. It seems that Chef had finally cooked up some real food. And it was indeed real food; bacon, eggs and meatballs.

Even then, only two campers were inside. The two being Cody and Harold. Their mouths watered as they scanned through the food laid out.

Harold was on the verge of drooling, "The early bird indeed gets the worm."

Cody took his serving from Chef, "For sure. Thanks Chef."

Chef nodded, "Enjoy it boy."

Confessional: Chef Hatchet

"I didn't make any of the food and you better not think that I can't make any of these, cuz I can" he shouted, pointing at the camera before crossing his arms, "This is Chris' food for the week. He ain't giving me my paycheck, so I ain't giving him his food. He's gonna get what these maggots get" he smirked.

End Confessional: Chef Hatchet

The two guys took their trays and seated next to each other.

"So what do you think about Dakota?" Cody asked. He had explained about Dakota's strange behavior and her E-pad to Harold on their way to the mess hall and in the cabin.

Harold shrugged, "You told me it had more than 70% free space the first time you found it and now it's 85%; That is weird. But to be fair, backing up your data is important, so couldn't she have done that."

Cody ate a spoon of mashed potatoes, "Maybe but it's unlikely. Who backs up their data when they have almost three-fourth space left."

"Valid point. I usually do it when it's around 65-75% full" Harold said, as he munched on bacon.

"Exactly, even I backup only when my device is about 80% full. So it's obvious that she hid those files knowing that me or Bridgette would search for it" the geek elaborated.

Harold nodded, "That means she's got an informer or a helper or something."

"My thoughts exactly" Cody acknowledged. "We gotta find out what's with her either through herself or find out who her informer is and use them."

"But how are we gonna find either of them?"

Cody sighed, not exactly knowing what to answer. "Not sure, that's something which we need a plan for."

Before Harold could reply, he was interrupted by the noise of the mess hall door being barged open. The responsible party being Scott. The dirt farmer scanned around and saw his teammates who he was searching for.

"Ah there you two losers are. I was lookin' for you."

Cody rolled his eyes. He wasn't a fan of Scott. If anything he found him annoying and if given the chance he could sway anyone to his direction.

"What do you want Scott?"

"Me? Well I wanted to talk to yo-" he started, but stopped on seeing the bacon and meatballs on their plates. "Where did you get all these food?"

Harold gestured to the kitchen, "Chef's in a good mood today. So go get some."

"What! NO!" Scott protested, looking at the kitchen, "I don't want all these things. Chef! Where's the slop you gave us all these days?"

Chef, who was standing behind the kitchen counter, looked confused, "What you mean boy? You want those stinky slop?"

"Of course I do. Those are delicious" he replied.

"Boy, you're sick" Chef commented, still confused.

"I second that."

"I third that."

Scott rolled his eyes, "I'll just have the mashed potatoes." he paused, "But before that, we need to talk. It might be helpful for you."

Cody immediately countered, "We don't want you in an alliance. You'll just backstab us."

Scott smirked, "You'll want me to join you."

"Let's give him a chance Cody" Harold said. The brunette reluctantly nodded.

"Alright so, I heard you two were discussing about Dakota. Find her suspicious this season?"

"How do you know we were talking about her?" Cody questioned.

"I eavesdropped. Acted like I was asleep" he shrugged.

"Told you he wasn't asleep" Harold said.

"Anyway, so you wanna take her down in the next elimination. I can help you there. In the last elimination, she only needed one more and she was outta here. I can be that one vote you need" Scott elaborated.

Cody was intrigued. "Okay, keep talking"

Scott continued, "But, let's keep her in the game and we target someone else."

"And you lost me" Cody said, "If anything, you're trying to save her by diverting our attention to someone else. Nice try" he smirked.

"I think Scott's the informer" Harold pointed out.

"What informer?" he asked.

"Oh you know damn well what I'm talking about" Harold countered.

"I don't. And hear me out, I'm not done" the devious one continued, "We try to boot someone else cuz we have this." he took out the recorder from his pocket and slid it to them, "Play it."

"Hey, I way looking for this everywhere" Cody complained, "You stole it from me."

"And you stole it from McLean, so shut up and play it" Scott demanded, annoyed.

He did as directed. After a few seconds of silence, Dakota's voice was heard, questioning about the challenge and immediately Zack the intern's reply.

"Isn't that the intern's voice?" Harold asked. Scott nodded.

Once the entire recording was over, Cody looked at Harold and then at Scott.

"When was this?"

"During the Kart racing challenge I saw her going away from the stands. I followed her and this happened" the dirt farmer replied, gesturing to the recorder.

"I thought you won't be of any help. Looks like I'm wrong."

Scott smirked, "Of course you are. Anyway, she's in an illegal alliance so we can take her down any time. So, I was thinking we take down Burromuerto instead. I don't have to tell you what he can do. We all know. And I doubt he's in some kind of alliance with Dakota. So make their alliance weaker."

"I like it," Harold said, "Strategic and evil. I fancy being the villain, I even have the villain laugh. Watch, Muhaha-cough!"

Scott shook his head and rolled his eyes, "Real villainous nerd." he paused, "So, you two in?"

Cody and Harold looked at each other first before turning to Scott and nodding in agreement.

Confessional: Scott

"Alejandro's been sniffing around me lately. Last day after lunch he questioned me about throwing challenges. Knowing him, it won't be long before he finds out. So kicking him out is key. These two geeks are a good bunch. Work with them now, kick 'em out later" he smirked.

End Confessional: Scott

Suddenly, Chris' voice boomed through the speakers around camp

"Campers! Chow down on brekky and meet me at the beach in an hour. We got an awesome little challenge today. You're gonna love it."

All present in the mess hall groaned.

"Meaning of 'awesome' in the Chris McLean dictionary?" Harold asked, looking at Scott.

"We're fucked."

The campers assembled at the beach, where there were 2 rows of 11 seats facing each other with a little more than a two metre gap between them. Chris and Chef stood at the left end of the seats. Beside them, there was something huge covered with a dark red veil. The host walked towards the campers and stood in front of them.

"Hello campers, welcome to today's challenge. How are you all on this fine morning"

"Was fine until I heard your voice" Duncan replied, earning him nods from the other contestants.

"I'm glad I made your day" Chris smirked before continuing, "So who's ready for another electrifying and disgusting challenge."

*cricket noises*

The campers looked blankly at the host, making him annoyed.

"Man I miss Owen's enthusiasm right now" his stomach grumbled, "Man the food I got today was terrible. They told me I had bacon and all on the menu today."

"We got those actually" Katie said.

"Huh?" the host looked confused. Then shot a glare at Chef, "Wait a second. Did I get the food you cooked for the campers?"

"Mhm. Serves you right for not giving my paycheck yet" Chef replied, crossing his arms.

"I was gonna give it to you- well sometime of the other" the host debated, "Anywho we'll deal with this later."

"What's under the veil" Gwen asked.

He changed back to his signature smile, "That is part of your challenge today. But before heading onto that, we have an announcement. One idol has been found."

"Already?"

"Yep. An intern idol has been found. So be careful because one of you now has more power than the others" Chris elaborated, "Now onto the challenge. Chef, reveal it!"

Chef did as directed and pulled off the big red fabric, unveiling the wheel under it. It was huge with a red pointer at the top.

Chris gestured towards it, "I present to you, the W.I.M.P.!"

"I know you're a wimp, what's the wheel about?" Scott mocked. All present giggled.

The host narrowed his eyes at Scott, "Moving on" he said sternly, "W.I.M.P. stands for the Wheel of Immediate Mad Punishments."

"Doesn't that spell WoIMP?" Katie asked.

The host rolled his eyes, "All the 'of's' are always ignored. Anyway, onto the challenge." he paused, "It's a little game I like to call, 'Truth or Punishment'. Each of you will be asked a question by moi from the cue cards we've prepared. Answer it truthfully, the team gets 11 points. If you lie, Chef will spin the wheel which will land on a random punishment and the entire team will have to do it."

"WHAT?!" everyone shouted.

"How's that even fair? Why do the others have to suffer because of one person" Heather argued.

"It just makes it more fun. For me, haha!" he cleared his throat, "Oh and don't worry, you can earn points through the punishments as well. How many ever teammates complete it successfully, you'll earn that many points- Like if four complete it, you get four points, simple as that. You'll also be wearing these shock collars which will detect if you're lying. If you do, it'll send a shock through your body."

Everyone present gasped.

"Brilliant" Noah commented sarcastically.

"But don't worry, it'll shock only the camper in question, not the whole team" Chris assured.

"Good" Heather replied.

The host tossed two dog collars to Courtney and Trent, "So wear your collars and take your seats. Tigers you can take the seats to my left and Bulls, the right."

Once the campers were seated and worn their dog collars, Chris stood on a podium wearing his blue formal suit, the same which he had worn during Total Drama Action's Gilded Chris Ceremony. Game show music played from a stereo kept on a table on the podium.

"Welcome to Truth or Punishment!" he announced, "Will the contestants tell the truth or be punished for lying? Let's find out. Chef, bring in the cue cards."

Chef, wearing the sleek fuchsia dress from TDA, carried a box to Chris. On opening it, he narrowed his eyes.

Chris had his arm out waiting for the cue card, "Uh Chef, kinda waiting here."

"We got a problem man" Chef said as he poured the contents in the box onto the table. Instead of solid cue cards, shredded remains of it came out.

"What the heck?!" Chris shouted, "Who did this?"

Chef picked up a note from among the shreds and read it.

"Guess who"

"It's him isn't it."

"Yup"

"He's ruining my show! Just wait until we catch him" Chris clenched his fist.

"Uh, so no challenge?" Cody asked in hope.

"Oh no no no. The challenge will continue. Gimme a few minutes to find another way to host it." Chris replied as he, Chef and the interns moved away from the campers to discuss. About 15 minutes later, the host came back to the podium.

"Alright, so since the cue cards are shredded, we're gonna let one of you ask a True or False question to anyone from the other team. You can't ask the same person twice though. The rest of the rules remain the same. Any questions?" Some did raise their hands but Chris continued anyway, "Good."

The contestants took this chance to go use the bathrooms or just talk to the other.

Scott walked to Duncan who was twirling his knife, "Hey Dud-can"

The ex-criminal rolled his eyes and pointed his knife at him, "What do you want dirtbag"

The dirt farmer did show a hint of fear at first, but quickly composed himself, "Listen, Alejandro is dangerous and keeping him in the game is gonna be a problem for all of us."

"Yeah so? He's on your team. So your problem, not mine."

"When we get to the merge and he's still around, it'll be easy for him to kick us out. I don't want that problem" Scott explained.

"Talking about the merge already? And you come to ask help from the one who did it everytime" Duncan smirked.

"Oh shut up. Season 3 and All Stars you were lucky. Anyway, you gonna listen to me or what"

"I prefer not to but hey what the heck. Go on"

Scott rolled his eyes, "So I'm tryna frame him here. I heard that Dakota was crushing on him and Heather knows about it. She's kinda pissed at him. So if you get a chance to ask him a question now, I want you to ask this."

He cupped his hand and whispered into Duncan's ear, we were not able to catch the audio.

"Sounds good" Duncan said, impressed.

"Alright campers, back to your seats" Chris announced, "So this is how it's gonna work, I'll be taking a card at random from each of these boxes which contains your teammates' names. Whoever's name I pick, can ask any question to an opponent whom they may choose." he explained, "Without any further ado, we move on to the first question. We'll start with a question from the Bulls" the host dug up a card from the Bulls' box and read aloud, "Gwen. Pick anyone from the Tigers you want to question."

The goth girl scanned the Tigers' row left to right. She was unsure about whom to choose. Heather, sitting beside her, nudged her elbow.

"Pick Eva and ask her about the idol"

Confessional: Heather

Sitting with her legs crossed, "We gotta use this challenge strategically. One idol's gone and the only person who had a solid chance of getting it is Eva, cuz of her morning jogs. If it's true then I don't have to worry about anyone from my team and it'll stir up some tension among the Tigers."

End Confessional: Heather

"You sure?"

"You have any other option? I don't think so" Heather debated.

"True. I pick Eva" Gwen said.

Eva looked at Gwen with eyes narrowed, "Bring it on." she smiled confidently.

"You do regular jogs in the forest every morning. So, there is a pretty good chance that you found the idol. Did you find the idol?"

Eva's eyes widened, she was caught off guard. She didn't expect them to question her about the idol. She looked around and saw that all eyes were on her. If she told the truth, then chances of the others targeting her will increase but if she lied and the team lost, then that can make her a candidate for elimination. She made up her mind and let out a small sigh.

"No, I didn't find the idol" she answered and instantly closed her eyes, expecting to be zapped. But strangely enough, Nothing happened.

"Eva tells the truth and bags 11 points for the Tigers. Well done" the host announced.

Confessional: Eva

She scratched her chin in confusion, "That's weird. I lied. It didn't zap me. Either those shock collars are McLean quality or they're just scared of zapping me" she smirked, "Yeah, they're afraid of me. No surprise there."

End Confessional: Eva

"We move on to the next question this time from the Tigers." Chris picked up a card from the Tigers' box, "It's Dawn." Some groans were heard from the Tigers' side. Eva glared at them.

"I don't know what to ask" she told Katie, who was sitting beside her.

"It's ok, just ask anything you like" the sweet girl replied.

"Um ok" she replied nervously, before looking at CIT, "I choose Courtney."

"Go ahead Dawn" Courtney said smiling at the moonchild.

"I couldn't help but notice that you want to mend your ties with a certain someone present here. I do not know who it is nor will I ask who it is. But is it true that you have an intention?"

Courtney was taken aback. It was indeed true that she wanted to fix things up with someone but she didn't expect someone else to bring it up rather than her revealing it.

"It's true. I do have the intention."

They waited a couple of seconds and there were no zaps.

"Courtney also scores 11 points. It's all square after round one" Chris announced.

"Thank you for being honest." Dawn smiled. Courtney nodded.

"Onto round two," he picked up a card, "Izzy."

"Izzy's gonna drop some bombs! Boom Boom!" she cackled.

Alejandro nudged her, "Listen, let's ask-"

"Izzy knows whom to ask" she interrupted, "I pick Mike."

"Mike?" the Spaniard asked, confused.

"Yep Mike." she looked at him. She saw the little smirk he had challenging her to ask, "So Mike, how's Mal doing?"

This caught everyone's attention. Duncan and Eva glanced at each other, confident that they got him.

Mike initially was surprised but didn't show it out.

"Mal and all my personalities are gone since All Stars. So I don't know how he is now" he answered.

Unfortunately for him, the collar zapped him and the entire team for a full 2 seconds. The Tigers gasped, breathing heavily while the Bulls looked at Mike with their eyes widened in shock.

"Chris! You said the team won't get zapped" Trent complained, rubbing his neck.

Chris shrugged, "Yeah, I lied. Haha!"

"Bastard" the ex-criminal muttered under his breath.

Zoey looked worriedly at Mike. "Who are you really?"

"What do you mean, I'm Mike. The shock collar isn't working properly, that's all" he explained.

Confessional: Zoey

She had a worried look, "What is happening? Why is this happening? Every piece is falling into place. I don't want this puzzle to get completed." she was on the verge of sobbing.

End Confessional: Zoey

"Time to spin the wheel for your punishment" Chris said as Chef spun the W.I.M.P.

The red pointer landed on 'Hakarl'. The Tigers' were confused about what it was.

"Oooh it's Hakarl" Chris announced.

"And what is that?" Noah asked.

Harold started explaining, "Hakarl is an Icelandic national dish. They behead and gut sharks, bury them in a grave for 3-4 months and then cut them in strips, leave that to dry for some more months and then served. Basically it's nasty."

Just with the explanation, Katie and Tyler threw up.

"Alright that's two down already" Chris laughed.

"I will not eat a beautiful creature created by Mother Nature. Adding to it I'm also vegetarian" Dawn asserted, "How could you Chris!"

"Hey we didn't kill it, we just bought it. Anyway, three down. Each of you will get two strips of it. Eat both and you get a point."

Ezekiel, Eva and Duncan quickly ate it, pinching their nose.
"Yuck! That is one of the worst things I've eaten" Duncan had a vomiting sensation but he was able to keep it in.

Mike, Trent and Zoey were also able to eat it without barfing but DJ couldn't hold it in. Noah ate one strip but refused to eat the second.

"Ok so the Tigers gather 6 points taking their total to 17. Well done" Chris said, "Now a question for the Bulls will be asked by," he picked up a card from the Tigers' box, "Duncan."

Duncan shot a quick glance at Scott, who slowly nodded.

"I'll pick 'Dead Donkey'" he smirked at the Spaniard who was annoyed with the name.

"Bromigo, do not ever call me that" he warned.

"Can't make me" Duncan replied.

"Just get on with the question"

"Fine" he paused, "Simple question. Have you been cheating?"

Alejandro waited for a while before raising an eyebrow, "Is your question complete?"

"Yep"

"But you haven't specifi-"

"Just answer the damn question" Scott said, rolling his eyes.

The Spaniard looked at Heather who was staring at him curious to know his answer.

"No. I haven't been cheating" he answered. And for a second time, the shock collar was triggered and zapped him and the entire team.

The Bulls' were panting heavily. Heather glared daggers at Alejandro.

"YOU! YOU JERK! HOW COULD YOU?!" she turned to Dakota, who gave a flying kiss to Alejandro just to stir the pot, "I WILL DESTROY YOU!"

Alejandro tried to explain, "Mi amor, I wasn't-"

"DON'T EVEN TRY!" she warned sternly.

Confessional: Scott

"Worked like a charm" he smirked, "Gotta give credit to Duncan, didn't give him any exit route."
End Confessional: Scott

Confessional: Alejandro

"I would like to clarify that the 'No' I answered was for the question 'Have I been cheating on Heather.' I've cheated in the challenges, I got shocked because of that. Smart piece of wordplay. But there is no way Duncan would know I cheated in the challenges. I had only mentioned it to Justin and-" he paused realizing the hole in the ship, "Of course, Scott." he facepalmed, "he even forced me to tell the answer. Bastardo! I'm in a bad situation here."

End Confessional: Alejandro

Confessional: Heather

Rubbing her misty eyes, "HE WILL PAY!" She broke the toilet seat cover in the confessional and hit it multiple times against the wall, thus creating a hole.
Chef quickly got in and pulled her out from the confessional, before she caused more damage.

End Confessional: Heather

"Spicy" Chris commented, "It's punishment time."

Chef spun the wheel as the pointer landed on Leech Barrel.

"Ah a season one throwback" Chris said as the interns brought 11 big barrels and kept them in front of each of the Bulls. "Each of you needs to sustain 20 seconds in the barrel filled with leeches. You can shout 'Barrel' to get you out before time, but you will lose a point. Each full 20 second sustenance equals one point for the team. So hop in!"

The eleven Bulls' hopped into the barrels as Chef started the clock.

"BARREL! BARREL! BARREL!" Justin shouted as the interns pulled him out, his body full of hanging leeches.

"My beautiful body" he gave out a cry.

Following him out was Gwen and Cody. When there was about 3 seconds left, Scott jumped out in pain.

"And time!" Chris announced, "Well done Bulls, you got 7 still standing. That takes your total to 18, leading by a point. Now you can go get those leeches off your skin."

After a quarter of an hour, the Bulls' got seated back in their respective places.

"Alright, next up, from the Bulls, it's" he picked up the card, "Heather. Love the timing."

"I'm not gonna let one setback affect my way to the win" she said confidently as she glanced at Alejandro, "Anyway, I pick Duncan."

"Let's go Queenie"

She rolled her eyes, "This season I noticed that you've been pretty close with one of your teammates. So, do you like Zoey?"

"She's Mike's girlfriend. No, I don't like her like that" Duncan answered. Yet again, the shock collar came into play and shocked the entire team.

"Well, well, well. What do we have here? Don't like her like that huh" Heather said, smiling evilly.

Duncan glared at her, still breathing heavily, recovering from the shock.

Zoey, who was sitting beside him, looked at the ex-prisoner. He could feel her gaze on him so he didn't face her.

Confessional: Mike/Mal

"Duncan likes Zoey huh? Perfect. More people to deviate the votes to" he laughed evilly, rubbing his palms.

End Confessional: Mike/Mal

"More spice! I love it" Chris exclaimed excitedly, "Time to spin the wheel for your punishment."

Chef tried to spin it but the wheel didn't budge. "Chris, the wheel ain't spinnin'"

Suddenly they saw smoke coming from behind it.

"Oh shit, the motor's on fire!" Chef exclaimed.

"CHRIS HE'S BEHIND THE WHEEL" shouted a voice from distance.

Everyone turned to see Jo and Lightning.

"Jo and Lightning?!" The campers exclaimed in unison.

Suddenly a figure popped to the left from behind the wheel. They were wearing a black mask and had dirty blonde hair. They ran quickly trying to escape from Jo and Lightning.

"Sha-stop there you fool!" Lightning shouted as he and Jo zoomed past the wheel. The interns also followed them.

Confessional: Mysterious Masked Guy

They pointed to the camera, "I will not let this show run smoothly, when it should've been me hosting instead of Chris!"

End Confessional: Mysterious Masked Guy

"Hey isn't that the guy who made that video threat in the Go Kart race?" Courtney asked.

"Oh that's him alright" Chris muttered, "And I brought those two here to catch him. Get him quickly!" he shouted.

"So, now what?" Tyler asked.

"We're gonna have to shift to another challenge. We have one ready for tomorrow. Looks like we're gonna shift tomorrow's main challenge to today's second challenge" Chris announced. "Follow me campers."

The competitors walked behind the host as he led the way. As they were walking, Tyler caught up to Mike, walking beside him.

"Hey bro, that thing zapped you hard. You alright?"

"Yeah, I am" he replied.

"But bro why did it zap you?"

"It's Chris quality, even if we tell the truth it zaps you anyway. But still some of the guys won't believe me now." he paused before looking at the jock wearing a sad expression, "You believe me, right?"

"Of course I believe you. I'm not like the other guys who just believe something blindly" Tyler assured.

"Thanks Tyler." he grinned.

"Also I wanted to tell you that I got Zeke and Trent to join our alliance" the jock informed, "Now we can boot Eva off easily."

Mike was surprised, "Really? That's great."

Confessional: Mike/Mal

"Never thought Tyler would be this helpful. But damn, he's just given me a lot of cover with the alliance." he shrugged, "I don't really need to be in an alliance cuz I already got the money, but hey booting off these dumb asses and then realizing that they endured all this for nothing will be a good laugh."

End Confessional: Mike/Mal

Tyler then ran forward catching up with Trent. At the same time, Zoey ran up to Mike.

"Mike, could I ask you something?"

"If it's about the last challenge, those shock collars are broken" he explained, "You believe me right?"

"Y-yes I do" she stammered, not sounding very sure, "Just that I heard a few things about you from the others and it just kinda, y'know-"

"They're all just trying to throw you off your game" he said trying to brush past the conversation, "You know anything about what Duncan said?"

She shook her head in denial, "No, nothing. I never knew he felt like that."

He smirked without her noticing, "What do you think of him?"

Zoey looked into his eyes, "He's a nice guy, sure he won't admit it but yeah. He's a great friend."

Mike nodded as he looked away and smirked again, getting a plan.

Alejandro tried to talk to Heather walking behind her, almost begging her to speak to him.

"Mi amor, listen first. The shock collar misunderstood what the question and my answer meant. It was a broad question."

Heather paid no heed to his explanations and continued walking forward with her arms crossed. He grabbed her arm from behind, twisting her to face him.

"Listen to me, please."

Courtney who was watching this came in between them and forcefully took off the Spaniard's grip from Heather's arm.

"What are you even trying to do Ale-jerko? You were caught red-handed and now you're trying to justify yourself. So back off from Heather!"

"Courtney, I'm not trying to justify myself, as I haven't done anything wrong. I'm explaining as to how all this is a misunderstanding."

She glared at him, "You're just gonna cook up more lies. Why don't you go stick with Dakota. I'm sure she's the one you cheated on Heather with."

Alejandro groaned, looking annoyed, "Who's even giving you that idea of Dakota and me?"

"You know; and you know well" Courtney said, pointing at his chest, "C'mon Heather, let's go." she pulled the Queen Bee holding her hand.

"Mi amor-"

Heather turned her head, "Ex amor [1]"

Alejandro looked in a mix of disbelief and annoyance as he shook his head.

"Thanks Court" Heather said, her tone was gentle and sincere.

"No problem."

Confessional: Courtney

"I know how much Heather's hurting inside. She won't show it out. That's just how she is. Strong and determined. Won't let this get to her."

End Confessional: Courtney

Chris led the campers into a soccer field. There were two goalposts on either side, a scoreboard and big stands on all four sides. All the pitch markings and corner flags were perfectly made, the grass height was perfect and overall had a semi professional stadium feeling.

"Whoa this is awesome" Duncan marvelled, looking around.

"I agree, this looks rather good" Alejandro commented.

Chris smiled, "It's stunning. Welcome t0 Estadio Wawanakwa.[2] Another addition to the new and improved island," he gestured towards the pitch, "We have a simple challenge, and as you can predict, it's a soccer match."

"You mean football match" Alejandro said.

"No, I mean soccer. Do not correct me!" he rolled his eyes "I will continue to use the word whether you like it or not" Chris asserted.

Confessional: Alejandro

"I despise anyone who calls football as 'soccer'. Ugh! That word tastes bitter on a Spaniard's tongue" he gagged, "The word doesn't even make sense."

End Confessional: Alejandro

The host cleared his throat before continuing, "As I was saying, the challenge is simple. Each team will play an 8v8 soccer game with two halves of 22 and half minutes each. The other 3 will be the substitutes. The team you wanna field is your choice. Whoever scores the most goals, wins. Easy as that. Oh and also remember, only two substitutions are allowed."

"A normal challenge? Surely there's some kinda hard obstacle" Bridgette said.

"You guys know me well" Chris smiled, "Yes, there are obstacles. The interns, who will be helping Chef as linesmen checking for offsides[3] will have some interesting equipment with them. The likes of the Spicy Pasta Blaster, the Painful Dodgeball launcher and the Explosive Water Gun."

"Ooh scary adjectives" Noah said sarcastically.

"Well that's cuz it is scary and painful" the host laughed, "Anyway, for winning the last challenge, the Bulls will have an advantage. You're gonna start the game with a 1-0 lead."

They pumped their fists, "Sweet!"

Eva shook her head in annoyance, "Brilliant."

"If you go to your dressing rooms, you'll find your soccer jerseys and boots. Tigers will be in orange and black and Bulls will be in black and purple. But before that, go select your starting lineups. The game will start in 15 minutes" Chris said before heading to the commentary box which was in the stands at the North end.

The teams huddled together, discussing their starting lineups and substitutes.

Eva spoke up, "Alright, so I'll be the captain. Any objections?" she scanned around the team, but most of them nodded, "Alright good. So, me and Duncan are fixed in the lineup. We only need the other 6."

"Put Tyler and DJ in as well" Duncan said.

"Hell yeah! Finally I'm recognized" he pumped his fists.

Duncan deadpanned, "Yeah congrats, so don't fuck up."

Tyler saluted as the punk smirked.

"I'll be the goalkeeper" DJ said.

"What? Why?" Duncan asked confused, "I meant you as a centre mid."

"Nah we got people for that. Besides you can push me up when you need me and keep someone else as the keeper" the Jamaican explained.

"Fine" Duncan said, not entirely happy with the decision.

"So 4 more. Noah-"

"I'm on the bench" the bookworm said immediately.

"Yeah, we weren't taking you anyway."

Noah nodded, "Good choice."

"Why do you not wanna help the team?" Tyler asked.

"I am helping the team by not playing because if I do, we're gonna lose" he explained as he sat on the substitute bench.

"Exactly." Eva said, "So Dawn, also a substitute. Sorry."

"No problem," the moonchild smiled, as she took a seat next to Noah.

"Who else for substitutes" Eva told herself as she looked at her team.

Trent raised his hand, "I'll be a substitute. Sports is not exactly my strong point."

"Fine, that's our third" Eva said. "Alright, we have our lineup. Now positions. Duncan and Tyler are going forward, I'll take midfield with Mike and Zoey, Defen-"

Duncan cut in, "We gotta stack up our defence. They got Alejandro. He's a tough one to defend. And I'm sure Bridgette, Izzy and Scott know their way around the pitch."

"Good point" Eva acknowledged, "We'll keep two midfielders then- Me and Zoey. Mike, Katie and Ezekiel take defence. DJ, keeper."

Everyone nodded in agreement.

Eva extended her arm to the middle of the huddle, "C'mon Tigers let's show those Bulls what we're made of."

The others also did the same. "1,2,3… Up the Tigers!" they cheered and walked into the dressing room.

Confessional: Eva

She had her arms crossed, "That cheer is just one of the things that can motivate any group to do well. Yeah that's right. I'm a true captain."

End Confessional: Eva

Over at the Bulls' huddle.

"I volunteer to be our team's captain" the Spaniard said.

Courtney glared at him, "Let me tell you what a captain needs to have. Integrity and support. And clearly you have neither of them. So I'll be the captain."

"Hold up there" Heather cut in, "I'm the only one who won a season among us. So I'm clearly cut out for this."

"I supported you earlier and you don't support me now" Courtney debated.

"This is a competition. We support each other for a while and then we'll have to compete. That's just how it is" Heather elaborated.

"I think Alejandro should be the captain" Scott said.

This caused Alejandro to look at him suspiciously. He knew that Scott didn't really want him to be the captain. Especially after he tried to frame him earlier.

"Scott?!" Courtney complained, "What the hell?"

"Sorry babe. He's the one who knows the sport the best" Scott said.

"I second that" Cody said.

"I agree" Harold added.

"They do have a point Court" Gwen said.

The CIT sighed, "Fine, you be the captain."

Alejandro smiled before looking at the queen bee, "Heather? Are you fine with it?"

"Why are you asking me? It's not like you care" she rebuked.

"Heather please, the situation is not what you think it is" he debated, a hint of annoyance was there in his tone.

"That's what they all say" Heather argued.

Cody cut in, "Guys please, let's not do this now. We have a challenge to win."

Alejandro sighed, "Thanks Cody. Anyway, the Tigers' will probably field Duncan, Eva, Tyler and maybe DJ forward. So that makes their defence weak. That's the area we'll have to exploit. So I say we go all out attack. A 2-4-1 formation."

"How the fuck is that attacking" Scott asked.

Alejandro rolled his eyes, "Listen to me fully, friend." he looked at Scott, The dirt farmer caught the tone and smirked, while the Spaniard continued, "As I was saying, the two wide midfielders will be attacking along with a central one. The last midfielder will be with defence. The 2 man defence should be good enough."

"So what are our positions?" Izzy asked.

"I'll play forward. Bridgette and Izzy, you'll take the left and right wing respectively-"

Justin cut in, "Wing?"

"Means left and right side" the Spaniard answered, " Gwen centre attack mid and Heather defensive mid. Our defence has to be strong so Scott and Courtney will be our wall. Goalkeeper, Harold, Cody, Justin or Dakota."

"Count me out" the model said, "Last thing I wanna do is get hit on the face and ruin my look."

"Me too. It's too risky" Dakota added.

"Too risky" Heather mocked her voice, "Not as risky as-"

"Por favor Heather" Alejandro said.

"What? Didn't like it when I mocked your bit-" she stopped herself from saying the word.

"Hey don't talk to him like that" Dakota countered.

Confessional: Dakota

"Pouring more fuel on the fire" she smiled, "I had to act to get Alejandro trapped. That's the only reason I flirted with him." she looked at the camera, "Sam darling, if you're watching, I did all that flirting with Alejandro to play him. There's no love there. We're the best couple. Love you!"

End Confessional: Dakota

The Spaniard was getting a little angry, but composed himself, "Harold, keeper. Cody, substitute. Is it ok?"

"It's fine" the geek gave a thumbs up before sitting next to Justin.

"Alright let's win this."

With that they went into their dressing rooms.

The teams lined up on the field wearing their kits. Chef wore a yellow referee shirt and black shorts with a black whistle around his neck. He blew it, trying to get the attention of the campers

"Alright players! Since the Bulls have a one-goal advantage, Tigers can take the kickoff. I don't wanna see any deliberate foul play here. I wanna see a clean and fair game. If I catch you playing ugly, then mind you I will make you ugly. Do you understand me?" He looked around to see everyone nodding and not answering his question. He got annoyed, "I didn't hear you! DO. YOU. UNDERSTAND. ME?"

"YES CHEF!" all present shouted.

Chef nodded, "Good. Kickoff when I blow the whistle."

Chef kept the Telstar 18 ball[4] in the middle of the centre circle. Duncan walked up to it and kept his foot on the ball as he waited for the whistle.

Alejandro, who was the forward, stood at his position on the edge of the circle.

"Good luck Bromigo."

Duncan looked at him and smirked, "You'll need a lot of that."

Alejandro smirked back, "I like a good challenge."

Chef blew his whistle and Duncan kicked off, passing the ball to Eva, who immediately passed to Tyler.

3 minutes later, the Tigers were in possession and were on the attack through the left side. Zoey dribbled past Izzy and passed it to Eva who was running through the middle. The athlete saw Courtney running towards her and noticed Tyler was free behind her. She slowed down and chipped the ball over the CIT, landing right in front of Tyler who was through on goal.

He was about to take the shot before he heard Duncan shout.

"Tyler dodgeball!"

But it was too late. The jock was struck by the dodgeball launched by Zack, the intern. He winced in pain.

"And Tyler's taken out" the host laughed from the commentary box.

Duncan helped him up and ran back to midfield as Harold picked up the ball and threw it to Bridgette on the left flank.

The blonde had enough speed to outpace Katie. She was on the edge of the Tigers' penalty box. She scanned around and saw Gwen dashing into the penalty box. She played a through ball towards the goth and the latter took a good first touch, allowing her to get into a shooting position. She noticed Mike trying to stick a foot in to tackle her, but was able to maneuver past him and shoot.

"C'mon Gwen" Trent cheered.

"Whose team are you even on" Noah asked.

However, DJ had taken his position early on and was able to save it, although he had to stretch to deflect the ball as it went out for a corner kick.

"We'll get it next time" the musician encouraged as the goth girl turned to him and smiled.

"Seriously, do you want us to lose?!" Noah asked again

"He's only showing support to the one that he cares most about" Dawn said.

Noah looked at the moonchild and then back at Trent, "Oh so you hooked up with Gwen?"

"No" he replied, "Well we patched things up but no, we're not dating."

"But there's a strong desire within you" Dawn said, looking at him.

Trent looked at her in disbelief, "How do you- Ok I don't wanna know how. But yeah I can't disagree on that I guess."

She smiled, "Then don't wait for the right moment. Sometimes you have to make the moment right."

"I'll try. Thanks" he smiled.

"Uh huh, so when's that moment coming up for you and DJ?" Noah smirked.

Dawn blushed, "I-I don't know."

"Ah the girl's in love. Look at her blush and stammer on the slightest mention of the one she is trying to pursue" Noah narrated dramatically.

"Whoa Shakespeare" Trent commented, looking impressed, "I like it. But yeah, Dawn, the big guy's worth it in every way."

She nodded. Looking at DJ from the stands.

The game reached the 15 minute mark of the first half. Both teams had quite a few chances but couldn't capitalize on it.

The Tigers got back possession when Ezekiel somehow intercepted a pass Heather tried to play to Bridgette. Eva took off with the ball through the middle skilled past Izzy and played it to Duncan who made a run behind Scott. The ex-prisoner wanted to curl the ball to the right of Harold in goal. But before he could shoot, Zack launched a dodgeball and Kyle launched the pasta from the pasta blaster simultaneously. Duncan was struck by the pasta with so much power that he fell backwards and got stuck to the ground because of the sticky sauce. The dodgeball struck Harold when he was about to collect the ball thus making him fall over with the force.

In that gap, Tyler took the opportunity and tapped the ball into the net.

"The Tigers have evened things up! It's 1-1" Chris announced, "Absolute mayhem in the Bulls' penalty box. We love to see it!"

"C'mon Scott! Be more defensive" Alejandro shouted.

"Oh shut up! We only have two defenders" he argued.

Confessional: Tyler

"HELL YEAH! THE MAIN MAN HAS SCORED!" he flexed his biceps, "Coach Franklin, if you're watching, I'm available for selection!"

End Confessional: Tyler

The ball was kept back in the middle of the centre circle for the Bulls kickoff. Alejandro passed it to Gwen, who saw Izzy calling for the ball, making a run on the right wing. The goth played a long ball to her over the Tigers' midfield. Izzy took an excellent first touch which allowed her to maneuver past Ezekiel and cut into the middle. She saw Alejandro dash forward and tried to pass, but got caught in a tight tackle by Mike. She fell forward as Mike passed the ball to Katie.

He walked back to Izzy and held out a hand to help her up. Izzy looked at him and saw his menacing expression. She accepted it and pulled herself up.

"Don't try acting nice, Mal" she warned.

He smirked, "And you stop trying to act like you're smart. Nobody's gonna believe you even if you tell them. They'll just wave it off as crazy talk." he crunched her hand in his grip.

She winced a little in pain but composed herself quickly, "You know you don't scare me."

"Sure, keep lying to yourself" Mal replied as he ran forward.

Just then, Tyler had shot way wide off the goal which led to Eva shouting at him. Harold went to get the ball back. In this gap, Izzy walked to Zoey's side and whispered without anyone noticing.

"Hey, we need to talk."

"Huh? Right now?" the redhead looked confused.

"At half time. It's about Mike."

Zoey sighed, "Of course it is."

Only one minute remained in the first half. Play restarted as Harold kicked the ball from the goal kick. Eva and Heather vied for the ball in an aerial battle. The athlete was strong enough to win it and passed to Zoey at the left.

The ball came to a stop in front of her. But she was absent-minded after Izzy had told her she wanted to talk about Mike. Alejandro took advantage and easily took the ball away from her and passed to Gwen who made a run into the penalty box. Zoey quickly regained her senses, saw she lost the ball and tried to help out the defence, but it was too late already. The defence was caught off guard and thus couldn't organize themselves on time as Gwen curled the ball past DJ into the bottom corner, restoring the Bulls' lead.

"Gwen makes it 2-1 for the Bulls! The Tigers quite literally slept off. Sloppy piece of play by the Orange team." Chris announced as the Bulls celebrated.

Chef blew his whistle indicating half-time. "That's half time, players! Man, you lot suck! Three or four of you, not a whole lot. But I'll still say you suck. Anyway, come back in 15 minutes. If you don't, you'll lose automatically."

As the players walked to the dressing rooms, Izzy pulled Zoey into the bathroom for a talk.

In the Tigers' dressing room, the players looked dejected. Eva was fuming.

"How did we let them lead?" she shouted, "We were defensively good the entire half and in the last minute we switched off completely." She looked around, "Where's Zoey?"

"No clue" Mike replied.

Eva shook her head, "She was playing well, the heck happened to her at the last minute? And Tyler, reduce your power a little bit. You had 5 shots, one goal and the rest were going into orbit."

DJ gulped down some cold water, "Don't be that harsh. We've been attacking really well."

"Yes, that's the only positive we have. We're knocking on their door. We gotta convert the chances. I wanna see that rock hard defence that I saw in the majority of that half. We can do this. Up the Tigers!" she cheered. The rest of the team reciprocated.

Zoey entered at the same time, "Up the Tigers!" she cheered, hoping the others weren't mad at her, "I'm sorry! I shouldn't have gone into my own world during the game."

"It's fine Zoe" DJ assured, "We'll get 'em in the second half."

"Hey, can I talk to you alone?" Eva asked the redhead who nodded and at the same time was scared of what Eva would say. They exited the dressing room and popped into the hallway.

"Tell me, truthfully, what were you thinking about?"

Zoey sighed, "Like, a minute before the goal, Izzy told me she wanted to talk to me about Mike. And then I just thought of all the things that you guys have been telling me and I lost focus for a bit."

"I see. Listen, I'm gonna sub you off for the second half" Eva said.

"What? No, please don't" Zoey pleaded, "I'll do well, I promise I will."

"I know you can play well, but right now, your mind will only go to one place and that is Mike. That won't help the team." She paused, "I want to win but... I care for my girls- you, Katie and Dawn. So I'm gonna sub off Mike as well. I know you're in a bumpy patch. So you two talk things through. That's what you need now. Oh and I found this during that chase I told you. It looks like Mike's clothes. So just ask him about it" giving her the shirt Duncan gave her earlier and the torn piece she found during the chase.

Zoey nodded, not knowing how to feel, but still gave out a small smile, "Thanks. I'll talk to him."

"Good" Eva said. Zoey came in for a hug but stopped immediately.

"Sorry" she rubbed her arm nervously.

"Come here" Eva smiled ever so slightly, as she opened her arms. Zoey beamed and went in for the hug.

Confessional: Eva

"Never had siblings. I always wanted a younger sister. My parents thought one was a handful already after I cracked one of the walls of our house with one punch and thought if a second came by, it would be chaos." she crossed her arms, "So yeah, the girls on my team are good ones, they're like little sisters." she pointed at the camera menacingly, "If you dare to mess with any of them, I'll break you."

End Confessional: Eva

Scott and Dakota were talking in the hallway a little far away from their dressing room.

"We set the trap and he'll fall any moment, but he's not letting go easily" Dakota said.

Scott smirked, "I'll push him down then by throwing the challenge."

"It's not as easy as you think" Dakota warned, "It's a sports challenge. If you don't do well, he can sub you off anytime."

"I have my ways" he smiled slyly.

They heard footsteps coming towards them. Dakota quickly hid inside the storage room to the left as the person walking to them became visible. It was Alejandro.

He stopped in front of Scott, giving an unamused look, "I know you're trying to frame me."

"Well someone grew a brain" Scott mocked.

"And that someone is clearly not you," Alejandro smirked.

The dirt farmer chuckled deviously, "We'll see when you get on that boat."

"Tsk tsk. My friend you forget the simplest things every time" Alejandro smirked, "I will only get on the boat if we lose."

"Then you won't know what's gonna hit you."

"We'll see. I can get of any situation"

"You've taken too much damage. There's nothing you can do to undo it" Scott remarked confidently.

"Watch me" the Spaniard said as he turned on his heel and walked away.

Dakota came out of the store room and stood beside Scott.

"He's gonna sub you off any time now."

The dirt farmer just gave out a mirthless chuckle.

Fifteen minutes later, the players came back to the field. Eva told Noah and Trent to come on to the pitch and subbed off Zoey and Mike.

"Seriously, is our team trying to lose" Noah asked.

"We have our reasons" Eva replied.

"What possible reason do you have?" Mike asked, the annoyance was clear in his voice, "It just looks like you actually want us to lose here."

"Alright, shut up before I make you" she growled. Mike didn't flinch at her and just gave her a death stare. She saw a different Mike, as if an evil doppelganger took his place. There was no more denying that there was a difference in him. Some part of her said that he was the same but now no more.

"You have more to do outside the pitch than on it" Eva said before gesturing to Trent and Noah to follow her. Mike watched her go onto the pitch and smirked.

Chef stood next to the ball in the centre circle and looked at the teams.

"Y'all done with your substitutions?"

"Yep. Subbed off Zoey and Mike, brought in Trent and Noah" Eva replied.

Chef laughed, "And you expect to win now" he laughed even harder, Eva looked unamused. "Ah you're screwed. Anyway, Bulls, got any?"

Alejandro glanced at Scott and smirked before facing Chef, "We're gonna do it now. We decided to take out Sc-"

He was interrupted by Harold. "ME! Please pick me! That dodgeball hit me so hard, I can't even see."

Alejandro rolled his eyes, "Fine. Harold, get out and Cody comes in."

The ginger walked back to the bench as Cody came onto the pitch.

"We have a second substitution as well. We sub off Sc-"

Yet again the Spaniard was interrupted. This time by Cody.

"Wait, you want me to play?"

"Yeah, obviously" Courtney said.

"But I can't, I don't feel that well. Especially after those leeches" he explained.

"Will you make it any faster" Chef shouted.

"Alright, fine. Justin you're in" Alejandro said as Cody walked back. The geek glanced at Scott as he walked.

Confessional: Cody

"Okay fine, I'm not tired" he looked a little guilty, "It was a plan me, Harold and Scott came up with to keep him in the game and reduce our substitutions. Now all we have left is one more. Hope Scott does his thing now and then we can boot Alejandro. I don't feel comfortable doing this, but it's the game I guess."

End Confessional: Cody

"Now no more interruptions" Alejandro told his teammates, "We have one substitution left. So Sco-"

This time, Chef interrupted him, much to his annoyance, "Actually, you just have none."

The Bulls' looked at Chef in disbelief, "What?!"

"Chris already told you about the 2 substitution rule. And yeah, you brought in scrawny kid for nerd boy and then model boy for scrawny kid. That's two. Unless you don't know how to count."

"But Cody didn't even play for a minute" Courtney debated.

"No more arguments!" Chef ordered, "The game will start in a minute. Bulls' kickoff. Don't start on time, get disqualified."

"Well done Alejandro" Scott criticized knowingly.

"Yeah, good thinking, Mr 'Only I know the Sport'" Heather mocked.

"Ok, how is this blaming justified?" he debated.

"Alright, let's not play the blame game, and focus on the actual game" Bridgette said, pulling Heather into her position. The players took their positions according to their formation. Alejandro stood next to the ball, ready to kickoff.

Chef blew his whistle a few seconds later, starting the second half, as the Spaniard passed to Gwen.

Three minutes in and the Tigers continued from where they had left off with their attacking prowess. Their new substitute, Trent was pushed into midfield while the other new substitute, Noah was in the heart of their defence line. Trent quickly passed to Tyler, who used his pace to get past Courtney who tried to tackle him. He raced through the right wing and on reaching the edge of the box, he crossed the ball to Duncan who was being marked by Scott. The punk jumped higher than the dirt farmer and with a bullet header, fired into the top left corner with precision. There was nothing the goalkeeper, Justin could do about it as the ball rattled the net.

Duncan celebrated with a bow-and-arrow celebration, aimed at Alejandro and smirked.

"Ever seen a better header?" he asked as he walked past the Spaniard.

"It was good. But I've seen and done better."

"Sure" Duncan mocked. He gestured to the centre circle, "Go on, kickoff. I'm hungry for more."

Alejandro kept a foot on the ball and smirked, "Well then, get ready to starve."

The Bulls kept possession of the ball from the restart as Gwen dribbled past Trent and Katie with ease. She saw Bridgette waiting on the edge of the box and passed to her. The blonde spotted Alejandro lurking in the box with Noah struggling to mark him. She crossed the ball into the box a bit high but Alejandro quickly jumped and turned his body, performing a bicycle kick. He struck the ball crisply, and found the top right corner, as DJ watched it disturb his net. The Bulls cheered.

"What a goal!" Chris commented excitedly, "A bit of Spanish flair does the trick as the Bulls pull ahead restoring their one-goal lead. It's 3-2 for the Bulls!"

Alejandro looked at Duncan and copied the same bow-and-arrow celebration, directing the arrow at him. The punk just smirked and nodded, looking impressed.

Dawn kept on meditating with her legs crossed on the substitute bench beside Mike and Zoey.

"Mike, can we talk?" Zoey asked.

He looked at her and nodded. He was still annoyed at being subbed off.

They got up from the substitution bench and started to walk outside the mini stadium.

"We'll be back in a few Dawn" Zoey informed to which Dawn nodded, still with her eyes closed.

Suddenly she felt something familiar. She let out a small gasp as she opened her eyes quickly and turned to the source. Her eyes widened in shock as she saw Mike and Zoey walk out of the stadium.

Confessional: Dawn

"That negative energy I've been feeling for a while. I've finally found its source and it was coming from-" she paused, still trying to process her inference, "Mike, out of all people. But I'm confused. Is it really his true self or is it momentary?"

End Confessional: Dawn

Mike and Zoey went and stood behind the stands. They were quiet for a while before Mike broke the silence.

"And what do you wanna talk about?"

Zoey sighed at first, trying to decide if telling him was the best option. "About you."

"Me?"

"Yes. Is there anything you want to tell me?" she asked, concerned.

"Nothing. Is this really why you wanted to come out here for" Mike shook his head.

"Mike, please. I feel there's something… different about you this time around" she said, "I'm really concerned about you."

"What are you even on about?" he acted, as if he didn't know what she was talking about, "I'm the same Mike as always. Why would you think I'm acting different?"

"I wouldn't have given it too much thought if it was just me who felt that" she paused, rubbing her arm nervously, "But some of the others also told me that they felt something strange about you and..." she tried to finish the sentence but just found it difficult to do it.

"-and you believe them." he finished for her. She looked down, feeling sad.

Zoey looked at him with misty eyes, "I don't want to but, it's just that the things they told me just fall in place, it's hard not to believe it."

Mike chuckled mirthlessly, "You believe them more than your boyfriend huh." she noticed a familiar change in his tone.

"I believe you with my life" she said quickly, "But at the same time I can't turn a blind eye to the signs."

"What signs?"

She dug into her pocket, but before taking it out, "Mike, where's the medallion we made for each other? And the shirt is torn. You know how?"

"I don't know, it's probably in my bag or something" he replied.

She revealed the object in her pocket, "Is this what was in your bag?"

He looked at it and his eyes widened, "Yeah. When did you take it?"

"You know it wasn't in your bag" Zoey claimed, "I got this from Eva. She said she was chasing someone in the woods and they dropped this. And their shirt tore which is this piece and it fits perfectly with your shirt."

Mike smirked, "Alright. It wasn't in my bag and also yes, I dropped it when I was being chased. That shirt and the torn piece is also mine."

Zoey's eyes widened, "So it's true. But why?"

"Ever thought about why some kinds of people do things past midnight?" he asked coolly.

She raised an eyebrow at the weird question, "Uhh"

"Cuz they don't wanna get caught when they're trying to do it" he completed.

"What are you trying to say Mike?" she looked concerned, "What were you doing in the woods at night?"

"Mike." he chuckled once again, "You think Mike would simply stray into the woods alone? That toothpick's too weak and scared for that."

She looked perplexed, "You're talking abou-" suddenly it dawned on her. Her eyes widened in fear, "No way… y-you're..."

He just continued smirking, "Finally stopped being oblivious have we?"

She took a step back, "But- It can't be, t-that's impossible. Mike gave up his personalities, the r-reset button and-and-"

"You think there's a reset button? I've been treating my condition for years now. I never 'gave up' any of my personalities. They've all become a part of my original self, fused together as an integrated whole. And that original me, is Mal. Not Mike" he explained.

Zoey was in disbelief. She was at the verge of letting the waterworks open, "B-but all of last seasons-"

"Mike just was one of my major personalities. I couldn't control him much." he added.

"You mean, now they won't ever return?" she asked, her voice cracking.

"Nope. I've become an individual with the traits of my alters." he replied, "Athleticism, strength, sense of direction and all the others."

She didn't know what else to say. She felt her whole world crashing down on her.

"Anyway, enough of that crud. Let's work together, eliminate all these idiots and get to that finale." he said, extending an arm.

She looked at his hand and then back at him, "What do you mean? I can't do that. And besides I'm not gonna-"

He immediately cut in, "Do it for Mike."

She didn't respond. Just looked at him blankly.

Confessional: Mike/Mal

"It doesn't matter even if she doesn't wanna join," he smirked, "But I knew she'd do it anyway if I mentioned Mike. Eva's days here can be counted by a guy with no fingers." he smiled evilly

End Confessional: Mike/Mal

Back to the game and the teams were all square on 3-3. Duncan had scored once again. This time with a first-time volley, courtesy of an outrageous, pinpoint long ball from Eva into the box from midfield. There was little to nothing Justin could do to block it.

The Bulls had won a freekick in their own half after Duncan fouled Scott. All of the Bulls' players was in the Tigers' half as it was the last 3 minutes of the game and were hunting for the winning goal. The dirt farmer stood forward to take it. He saw Alejandro coming towards him.

"Bridgette's clear on the left. Play the long ball to her and then she'll do the rest."

"I'll try" Scott smirked. He saw Duncan was free in his half and worked a plan in his mind.

"If you screw up here, our teammates will blame you, not me." the Spaniard said confidently.

As Alejandro turned away from him, Chef blew the whistle to take the freekick. He quickly hit the ball straight at Alejandro's back, such that it deflected off the Spaniard and landed into their half.

Duncan saw the opportunity and took advantage, swiftly swiping the ball and ran towards the Bulls' goal.

"Move outta the way, Burro!" Scott acted, trying to frame it on Alejandro.

"I know you did it on purpose Scott!" he argued.

"Yeah right, you were in the way" Scott argued back.

Alejandro rubbed his back and looked in horror as he saw Duncan easing away to their goal with no defenders running back to stop him.

"Where's our defence?" Alejandro looked at Scott who casually stood there. The Spaniard got angry. "Fine. I'll do it myself."

He sprinted to the ex prisoner who was getting closer by the second. Courtney, Heather, Bridgette and Izzy were running back but they were quite far away. Alejandro ran as fast he could. On reaching the edge of the penalty box, Duncan noticed that Justin was off his line. He prepared to chip the ball over the model. But as he made contact with the ball, the next second he found himself rolling over on the pitch with pain, holding his right calf and shin.

The Spaniard had caught him in a rash, from-the-back slide tackle. Chef blew his whistle calling a foul.

"What did I say about havin' a clean game" he shouted at Alejandro, who looked down at the aching Duncan.

Confessional: Alejandro

"I don't usually take the path of physical harm to gain something. My strength is mainly mental manipulation and the like. But right now, many know about my methods. So I have to turn to a different approach to avoid elimination" He kept a hand on his chest, "I sincerely apologize, Bromigo. My only intention was to stop you from scoring. I did not want to injure or hurt you."

End Confessional: Alejandro

"Give him a red card ref" Eva demanded.

"Nah, not a red. It's just a yellow card offense" Chef replied, showing Alejandro the yellow card from his pocket.

"What kind of refereeing is this?!" Eva argued, "Our player's injured!"

"So? Just cuz a player's injured, it don't mean that the offender gets a red card" Chef elaborated, "Now stay back and shut it."

Eva grunted, "Can we at least sub him off"

"No you cannot. You've used both your allowed substitutions." Chef replied. Eva tried to explain but Chef cut in quickly, "No more subs and that's final."

She shook her head in annoyance as Duncan was carried by DJ and Trent to the substitute bench where the physios-that is the interns- were waiting to check on him.
The Tigers' were now a player down and had a freekick to take from just outside the penalty box where Duncan was fouled. Chef called for 2 extra minutes of stoppage time[5]

Eva called DJ to come forward and Noah to take cover of their goal.

"Alright, DJ will take the freekick. We just gotta dip it into the far corner and then we'll go all out defence. Clear?"

The entire team nodded as they took their positions in the Bulls' penalty box. Alejandro stayed outside it looking for an opportunity for a counter attack. Chef blew the whistle.

DJ let out a deep breath and shot. The ball curled, but it had a bit of height and power. The players watched soar towards goal. Luckily for the Bulls, it ricocheted off the crossbar, deflected off Ezekiel's head on the rebound and landed outside the penalty box. Alejandro, who was positioned well, took the ball and sprinted to the Tigers' goal. The rest of the Tigers' chased but none of them could reach him quick enough. Noah came forward from his goalkeeper's line to try and defend. The Spaniard noticed Noah and on reaching closer, faked a shot which allowed him to maneuver around him and tapped the ball into the open net.

At the exact moment Chef blew the whistle three times to indicate full time.

"THE BULLS' TAKE THE WIN IN STUNNING FASHION!" Chris announced excitedly from the commentary box, "What a game we've had today! Thrillers, Spectacular goals and most importantly, painful shots of spaghetti, water and dodgeball!" he laughed, "Tigers, meet me at the campfire ceremony in two minutes. Time to send someone packing. And Bulls, you'll be seated at the peanut gallery." he announced which earned him groans from the Bulls. "From now on the winning team will also join the elimination ceremony. C'mon people, the peanut gallery was used only once this season. I need to get my money's worth."

All the Bulls, except Scott, celebrated the win. The Tigers looked dejected and groaned, disappointed at the last minute goal they conceded.

Zoey and Izzy called DJ to follow them, as they ran to the cabins. Something regarding the talk Izzy and Zoey had at half time.

Alejandro gave handshakes to all the Bulls and on reaching Scott, he smirked, "If I'm determined to achieve something, I won't go down without getting it." he patted his back and walked away, much to Scott's annoyance.

Confessional: Scott

"I was planning to score an own goal during that freekick but that Zeke had to be in the way. And Duncan just had to be slow. Idiot." he groaned, "Burro got lucky this time. I'll get him. It's just a matter of time."

End Confessional: Scott

The scene cut to Mike, Tyler, Trent and Ezekiel, who walked together to the campfire pit as they discussed their plan.

"So we're booting Eva. Everyone agrees?" Tyler asked.

"Yeah" Ezekiel and Mike replied.

"I know I said I'm ready at first but are you sure we're doing the right thing. She'll be a threat when the merge happens but when we're a team, she's important for us" Trent explained.

"Do you think we'll have the same strength during the merge? Besides, it's better to boot all of the strong players first and then take out the weak ones, one at a time" Mike elaborated.

Trent scratched the back of his head, "True but- anyway screw it, I'll vote for Eva."

"Good" Mike said.

Noah, Dawn and Katie were behind them. Mike acted as if his shoelaces were untied and waited for them to pass.

Confessional: Mike/Mal

"Noah, Dawn and Katie are pretty tight with Eva. So they won't vote for her. But they'll for Duncan" he smirked, "Let's sway them a little, shall we?"

End Confessional: Mike/Mal

He got up and caught up to them, "Guys, can I tell you something? It's really important for me."

"Yeah spill."

"Remember during that truth or punishment challenge, Duncan lied that he didn't like Zoey. I'm worried that he might do something and jeopardize our relationship." he acted worried.

"So you wanna vote him off?" Noah asked.

"Yeah. Could you guys vote with me?" Mike asked.

"What if your intentions aren't the same as what you've told us now" Dawn asked, skeptical about Mike ever since she felt the negative energy from him, "I ask that because even you lied when asked about Mal."

"Yeah. All I know about Mal is that he's gone" he replied, "So that means I don't know how he's doing. The thing zapped me for that. What else am I supposed to say if I don't know how he is?"

Dawn wasn't convinced but decided to not question it further.

"So will you guys vote with me? Please?" he asked, faking his sadness.

"I'll vote for Duncan" Katie said.

Noah shrugged, "Yeah fine. It's not like I have anyone in particular to vote off."

"I guess I shall" Dawn replied, unsure about it.

"Thanks a lot guys" Mike thanked and walked with them to the bonfire pit.

Campfire Pit:

The Tigers sat back on the tree stumps around the bonfire after casting their votes. The Bulls were seated at the peanut gallery, spectating the ceremony.

Chris came forward and took his position behind the lectern, carrying the tray of marshmallows on one hand. He scanned the Tigers seated and raised an eyebrow.

"Hey. We're missing three of the Tigers," he took a few seconds to figure out who they were. "Where's DJ, Zoey and Duncan?"

"And Izzy" Bridgette informed.

"Here!" Zoey, Izzy and DJ called out running to their tree stumps.

"Where have you three been?" the host questioned.

"I had to go get something from the cabin" Zoey replied, panting in between.

"And why did you take DJ and Izzy with you?" Mike asked.

Zoey shot a half-glare at him, "I have my reasons."

The reply made most of the present look confused and questioningly at her and Mike.

DJ cut in, "C'mon guys, we're here now. Let's just cast our votes and get on with it."

Few seconds later, Duncan came limping after his injury during the game. He was being helped by Zack, the intern.

"Yo you alright man?" Trent asked, concerned as he got up to go help him.

Duncan waved it off, "Yeah, it's just a little strain below the knee and my calf. I'll be good in a day or two" he replied, before shooting a glare at Alejandro on the top of the peanut gallery. The Spaniard kept a hand on his chest, mouthing a 'sorry' to the punk, who nodded. He sat on the stump beside Ezekiel.

Zoey and DJ came back from voting and sat back on their stumps.

Zack gave Chris a piece of paper, "Duncan voted from the tent."

"Oh good. What about his video?" the host asked.

"Yeah, got that too" the intern replied.

"Good. You're doing well till yet" Chris dug into his pocket and took out his wallet, "Here's a 20."

Zack's eyes showed pure joy, "Thanks Chris!" he hopped away happily.

Chris turned to the Tigers, "We all know how the campfire ceremony works. I toss a marshmallow to everyone who's safe. If you don't get this tasty treat by the end. You'll be the next passenger of the Boat of Losers. And you can never come back. Ever." He opened the lid revealing the marshmallows. "The first marshmallow goes to Tyler."

He tossed it to the jock who tried to catch it, but it went through his hands and onto the ground.

"FIVE SECOND RULE!" he exclaimed and quickly popped it into his mouth.

Chris shook his head, "Anyway, the next symbol of immunity goes to…

Katie

Noah

Trent

DJ

Ezekiel

And the last person who didn't gather any votes, Zoey." he tossed the treat to her. "Four of you have got votes against you. Eva, you had chances to win the soccer challenge. Duncan mate, the truth or punishment might really come back to bite you here. Mike, same goes for you, that challenge really didn't do you any favors and now you have doubters. Finally, Dawn, I don't know why you have a vote cuz you literally had nothing to do today." he looked at them once again, "Anyway, the next camper safe is…

Dawn. And then there were three. Second last marshmallow goes to…

Duncan. Two on the chopping block- one will get the knife and the other will get the bite. Last marshmallow goe-"

"Wait!" Eva cut in.

Chris rolled his eyes, "I hate getting interrupted. This better be important."

She took out the intern idol and showed it to Chris, "I have the intern idol. That'll save me."

"Ooh we got some juice today. Submit it to me first" Chris said, as she handed it over to him. Chris looked at the bottom of the idol. "Oh damn."

"Let me guess. It doesn't have the McLean Seal of Approval?" Mike asked.

"Exactamundo" Chris said, "The idol is nullified and the votes are not altered."

"What the hell?! You never mentioned that there are fake idols" Eva argued.

"You should've known. Especially when one of your teammates was a victim of it" he glanced at Dawn, who glared at Scott.

Eva calmed down and sat back on her stump looking scared.

Confessional: Eva

Eva looked in realization, "That's why the the shock collar didn't zap me. I didn't have the actual idol. So I didn't lie." she looked scared now, "Oh shit."

End Confessional: Eva

"So, the last marshmallow goes to…

...

Eva. Mike, tell your goodbyes. Your game's over."

"How's that possible?!" Tyler exclaimed getting up from his seat, "We didn't even vote for him."

Eva glared at Tyler. The jock noticed and fear registered in his eyes.

"T-that doesn't mean that I v-voted for you" he chuckled nervously before curling into a ball, "Please don't hurt me." Eva shook her head in annoyance.

"How did I get more votes than her?" Mike questioned, "As Tyler said, there's no way."

"Well, you two were tied on votes. Until an intern idol was used by a certain someone" Chris smirked, glancing at Zoey who had her head in her hands. He pushed a button on his lectern and a screen popped out from it, facing the campers.

"I guess I gotta show the idol here. So here it is" she showed the idol and the McLean Stamp of Approval, "As much as it hurts doing this, I vote for Mik- no, Mal. I hope you change for the good and that a little bit of Mike stays in you forever. Double v-vote for him" tears rolled down her cheek.

The recording stopped and the screen stowed automatically into the lectern.

"Ah, the two sides of a relationship." Chris said dramatically.

"Zoey, why?" Mike asked in fake concern.

"Oh drop the act man" Duncan said in annoyance, "She just said who you actually are. Don't be a fucking coward and show your actual self."

His hair came down covering his left eye and his voice changed.

"Finally, that's over" he smirked. Everyone present except Chef and Chris gasped in shock. "Well done Zoey. Didn't know you had it in you."

"She's a strong one" Eva said.

"Mal's been here the whole time?" Gwen asked, confused.

"Yep. Who else do you think shaved Scott and and broke Lightning's lucky charm" Mal smirked.

"You bastard!" Scott cursed, "Zoey, go slap him!"

"I'll never slap him." Zoey glared at Scott before walking from her seat to Mal and stood in front of him, "I know now that you're Mal; and you always had been Mal. All I want is what I said in that confessional. I know now that all your alters are integrated inside your original personality, which is Mal. I just want Mike and all the other alters that have fused with you to help you turn a new leaf and you know, become less evil at least."

He looked into her eyes, little surprised that she didn't lash out at him, "Listen, you liked one of my dumb alters. And I can never be him or anything like him ever again, alright. So, if anything's good for me and you, I feel... we end it right here." as those words left his mouth, he felt some kind of pain in his heart that he couldn't explain. But at the same time, his mind told him that it was the right thing to do.

Zoey sniffled, trying to process the words she never wanted to hear. She nodded, "Thanks for everything Mi- Mal." she said sincerely.

"Oh wait, take this," he gave her the locket that she had given 'Mike' earlier in the season. "For some reason I just didn't feel like breaking it, although I tried."

She looked at the locket and then back at Mal, "Thanks I guess."

With that, he went to take his bags from the cabins. A few minutes later, he came back with it and walked to the dock. Zoey, Eva and Duncan waited.

"I hope you do change Mal" Duncan said as he was about to board the boat. He looked back at him, expressionless but at the same time it felt positive.

"When did you bring a briefcase?" Zoey asked.

"Recently" he smirked. As the boat went away from the dock, the redhead waved as tears continuously flowed down her cheek.

Mal took a megaphone which was in the boat.

"Yo McLean! Let's see what they'll win when they know the money's all gone!" he laughed, showing the briefcase he had stolen earlier.

"HE HAS OUR MONEY?" The campers exclaimed in shock.

"GO GET HIM CHRIS! It's got my name written all over it" Heather shouted.

Chris took his own megaphone, "Ever thought of opening it up first? It's got McLean Money. The currency used in the tuck shop and in the Playa des Losers. It's not the real cash price. HAHA! You really think I'm that dumb?"

Mal was devastated. He opened up the briefcase and saw notes of 50 McLeans stacked over each other. It had Chris' face in the middle.

"Isn't it neat? The actual money never arrived. This was made up for a challenge we set up. You got bamboozled HA!"

His screams echoed around the place as the boat rode away and disappeared into the darkness.

The campers assembled back to the campfire pit. "Well wasn't that a dramatic ceremony-"

"CHRIS! SHA-LIGHTNING'S DONE THE JOB" he shouted as he ran to Chris carrying someone over his shoulders.

"You got him?" Chris exclaimed happily, "For the love of me! Finally!"

"Hey! Both of us caught him" Jo shouted as he ran into the area.

"Sorry Jo. Only one person is allowed back" Chris said.

"Oh c'mon! How's that fair. Ask Brightning if you wanna know what happened" Jo debated.

"Sha-dude's right. Lightning did most of the work but he helped too."

"I'M A GIRL! How many times have we been through this?!" Jo shouted.

"Chill out dude" Lightning said. Jo groaned.

"Sorry Jo, but he came with the guy first. So I gotta give him the spot" Chris replied, "But don't be so down. Here's 500 dollars for coming to help." the host replied, giving the notes to her.

"Sha-WHA?!"

"Woah really? Fine, I'll take that" she exclaimed happily, "Seeya suckers! And Eva!"

The athlete smiled and nodded at the jockette, who ran to a speedboat she had come to the island with and rode away to the Playa.

"And campers. Another announcement. Lightning is back in the game and will join the Tigers. We became 21 and now we're back to 22." Chris announced.

"Brilliant." Eva groaned, "Do we have an option to put him on the other team? We don't need anyone in exchange."

"Nope you can't do that" Chris said, "I believe in fair-"

"Never say that again. Those are just blatant lies" Harold said. The host rolled his eyes.

"Anyway, time to unmask this guy" Chris said as he removed the black mask of the mysterious troublemaker who was now on the ground.

The person under the mask was revealed to be Topher, the contestant from Total Drama Pahkitew Island.

"Isn't this that Chris wannabe from that Pahak-whatever season?" Courtney asked.

Suddenly his eyes shot open and he smirked. He took a poison dart from his pocket, jumped up and struck it on Chris' neck. Everyone gasped as Chris fell to the ground, unconscious.

He turned to Courtney, "Yes Courtney, that is indeed me. I am Topher. The one who was given a contract by the producers and was supposed to be hosting a show with all of you called 'War of Bands'. Which, is nothing like the torture you're going through here, it's all music and then whoever loses gets a severe punishment."

"How is that any better?" Gwen asked, looking annoyed.

"Dude, you just attacked Chris" Duncan said, "You think we or the producers will let you host after that?"

Chef cut in, "Boy, scratch your 'War of Bands'! You think we're just gonna let you slide past the fact that you just knocked down McLean with a poison dart. What is wrong with you kid?"

"I was put in some tight crate for so many days by Chris just so he could tell the producers that I quit the job and he could host this season" Topher explained, the anger was evident in his tone, "Now I'm gonna take over this season."

"Hold up boy. Look at me. I'm the captain now." Chef asserted, looking him dead in the eye.

"Says who?"

"Says my contract. If the host cannot be present for hosting for a while then the co-host, which is me, can take up the role until the original host returns or a new host is found" Chef elaborated and Topher nodded in understanding. He turned to the campers, "So maggots! Get back to your cabins. The ceremony is done."

"What about Chris?" Justin asked.

"We'll take care of him and this kid. Now go!" the campers went back to the cabins before Chef called the interns, "Kyle! Zack! Take Chris to the infirmary and give me his phone. We gotta contact the producers 'bout this. And you," he pointed at Topher, "You go with them to the infirmary."

Topher went on his knees pleading, "I wanna say the outro. Please. Please. PLEASE!"

"No." Chef replied blankly.

"Aww man" he groaned.

"You struck him with the same thing you struck Lightning in that challenge?" Chef asked.

"Yeah. It'll take about two weeks for him to come back to his senses" Topher replied, his eyes widened realizing what he had done, "What have I done?!"

"Yeah, think about that in the infirmary. Now go" Chef ordered as Topher went behind the interns, who carried Chris on a stretcher.

The scene cut to the Dock of Shame where Chef was talking on the phone to the producers.

"-New host is it?... Oh that guy. I know him. How long will it take him to come here?... Next episode? Cool…. Aight bye."

He kept the phone in his pocket and looked at the camera, ready to do the outro.

"This episode's been long enough and I'm gettin' hungry. So let's see what Chris usually says" he took a sheet of paper from his pocket and began to read it. "Uh, so a lot of drama today. I like it ha-ha. We saw tension between Heather-blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah- Zoey and that Mike boy-blah blah blah blah- Nah screw this" he threw the paper into the water, "What will happen to Zoey after her breakup with Mal? What will mean girl and Spanish boy do about their relationship? What will scrawny kid and ginger nerd do about the former mutant blondie? And who'll be hosting the next episode? Find out next time on-"

Topher cut in, jumping onto the dock out of nowhere, "TOTAL... DRAMA... MAYHEM!"

"Boy, now you're gonna get it" Chef warned and started chasing him.

Voting Confessionals:

Tyler: Just like my alliance has decided, Eva. I feel so important when I'm leading my alliance!

Trent: Eva. Just going with our alliance. And she's a major threat.

Eva: Mike or Mal, whoever he is. I got enough clues that it's him. But will I get him out? I know only Duncan will vote for him for sure. I hope Zoey will too.

Duncan (in the infirmary): Mal. That guy's been here long enough. Sucks that I couldn't tell anyone to vote for him cuz of my stupid injury.

Ezekiel: I guess Eva eh. Just going with my first alliance. This is fun!

DJ: I vote for Mike. Zoey told me to. She and Izzy gave me back Bunny's cage back at the cabin and Izzy told me that Mike had taken it. I wasn't planning to vote for him but it was surprising that Zoey told me to. So I had to. Sorry.

Noah: Not sure who to vote for really. But yeah, Mike told me to, so let's give it to Duncan.

Katie: It would be sad to see another relationship ruined by Duncan, not that he will but I just feel bad for Mike. So Duncan.

Dawn: I do not know who to vote for. I want to help Zoey so I can't vote for Mike because if I was wrong about the negative energy and it turns out to be wrong, then I'm separating him from Zoey. But at the same time Duncan is also her friend and has helped her. I'll vote for myself so I won't have to live with any guilt.

Zoey: I guess I gotta show the idol here. So here it is. As much as it hurts doing this, I vote for Mik- no, Mal. I hope you change for the good and that a little bit of Mike and the others stays in you forever. Double v-vote for him."

Mal: I got the votes swayed for Duncan and Eva. Watch their competition end quickly. Anyway, Eva.

Votes:

Mike/Mal: 5 votes [3 votes + 2 (double vote intern idol)]
