Chapter 3
Final Visit
Xanatos sat on the wooden chair in front of the Plexiglas. Fox was on the other side. She wore a blue prison jumpsuit. Xanatos had informed her of all the goings on and any new updates since the last time they met. There was a lull in the conversation.
"I can't wait to get out of here." Fox told her boyfriend.
"I know, my dear. Soon. Was your day alright?" He asked.
"It was fine, seeing you is the highlight. I haven't seen Talia in months, where is she?" She asked.
Disdain crossed his face. "She was being a brat again. I had to ground her. I swear she never behaves."
"What did she do this time?" Fox asked curiously.
"She tried to run off; enough about her. When you get out, would you like to come to the castle for dinner?" Xanatos asked her.
"Of course I would." She smiled.
"Excellent. I'll tell Owen to prepare." He grinned.
"Time's up." The prison guard announced.
"It seems like you have to go now." Fox sighed while glaring at the guard.
"You'll be out before you know it." Xanatos smiled comfortingly.
"I'll miss you, David." She looked at him with longing in her eyes.
"I'll miss you too, Fox." He said before he was escorted out.
