BEEEEEEEEEEEEEPPPPPPPPP

Oh shit

Bela fell out of her bed, smacking her alarm to shut up in the process. She had arrived at the academy late painfully last night due to how far away her target was. Well...not 'late last night' per say...more like… really early this morning. She was in bed around 3am, it was currently 5:30am. Now, just like any normal 16 year old kid, it was time to start getting ready for school.

Agh, I guess about two hours of sleep should get me through the day...at least I don't have target practice today….that would be catastrophic. Bela thought as she worked on warming up her shower. She had been doing the same routine for about five years; wake up; shower; attend classes; see if she has a mission; sleep. If one was able to look past the fact that the school trained children to kill people….it would seem rather nice. It was a tremendous structure hidden in the Himalayas upon a forgotten mountain. On the outside Hunter's Academy didn't appear to be a global superpower. It was a small blimp that was coated with marble paint that reflected its surroundings to camouflage. However upon entering the blimp there was an elevator that ran deep down inside the mountain that exposed the school for what it truly was….For Hunter's Academy was the Himalayas in all of its Southern glory. Every mountain served a different purpose; one for housing; one for classes; one for training; one for experimenting; one for technology; and one for the leaders of the operation. Although none of the lower level students knew who ran it, or what it truly did...all they knew was to follow their specific orders or receive a severe punishment. It was quite simple really. As for the rooms of the students….They were the size of an loft apartment with traditional appliances such as a washer, a bathroom, and a bedroom. Students however were restricted to have a kitchen due to 'safety precautions'. Bela found this ridiculous, they'll teach you how to snap a person's neck with nothing but your left shoe yet not trust teens with a stove? Foolish.

When the water had finished warming up Bela stepped in and carefully washed dried blood from her hands and face. She was too exhausted the other night to take care of it and only took time to tend to her wounds. The guy had put up quite the fight for his life, effectively slicing Bela across the arm twice and once on her cheek….Look where that got you idiot. After showering Bela stepped out to make sure she looked semi presentable in the mirror. Her long hair cascaded down her back, a mix of lavender and silver, as it stuck out against her olive skin. She poked at her eye-bags, trying to smooth them out from under hazel eyes. Hm, I guess it really was a long night. As she was finishing combing her hair her watch vibrated.

You have 10 minutes to get to the Bunker for a special lesson.

Panicked Bela rushed from her bathroom and threw on her academy uniform. A tight long sleeved navy blue shirt under a short sleeved black colored shirt with a plaid blck and white skirt. She grabbed her backpack that had an offensive amount of pockets and her black school blazer, and out the door she ran. While the school had a wonderful amount of space, it was also difficult to get to certain places quickly….one of those places being the bunker. Bela sprinted across halls and down and up stairs until he found herself painting at the bunker door.

ID Required. Voice Recognition. The door asked.

"Bela, student 204." She said as she held her watch up to the consol. It scanned her Student ID and the doors parted to make way for her.

Access Granted.

Whew, made it in time with exactly 43 seconds to spare. She looked around the room and saw no one in it. The room's ceiling and walls were created with the same dull grey metal and it lacked furniture. It was intended for combat training but the mats for that were folded and put off to the side. That's odd, usually if I spar the mats are already set up. There's no teachers here either…..She grew weary as the seconds ticked by. Bela knew she couldn't have possibly been late, official class would start for another hour and it wasn't uncommon to be called in prior to that and train. Something' off she thought as her hand drifted into her pocket to grasp her combat knife.

BEEP BEEP BEEP

43 seconds was up...now what? The lights in the bunker shut off, leaving Bela to nothing but the pitch dark. She closed her eyes and tensed, trying to sense the area around her. THERE! A figure stood behind rapidly moving a hand to strike. Bela dodged at the last second and jumped back to give her some space. The figure moved with her, this time attempting to strike at her sides. She moved down and swept the figure feet with a swift kick. Her opponent fell, but only for a second before they were back with a fury. Bela was met with several fists flying at her, she was riding on defence, unable to hit back, she could only dodge. She became so preoccupied with trying to sense the figure's hands she lost track of anything else around her. The figure's feet swooped at her and she fell to the ground in a humph. Bela heard a blade wisp through the air as she hit the ground. Well if you're going to fight dirty I will too. She grabbed the knife from her pocket and met the opponent's blade right before it hit her throat. Shit. She kicked her legs over her head and locked them under the person's arms, in a swift flip Bela managed to spin the situation around. Whoever she was fighting she had them pinned down now. She finally opened her eyes as they adjusted to the dark. Odd….she couldn't quite make out the face of the person she was fighting...yet she could see white wisps of hair somehow glowing in the pitch dark.

"Who are you?" Bela demanded as the person made no move to escape.

"You mean you don't remember me?"

Bela's eyes widened as she heard the voice that had just spoken to her. It can't be….I thought I killed you….

"Ahh you thought you had killed me huh? Makes sense, I remember I felt pretty dead too. But hey, don't take the news of me being alive too harsh. I'm not here for revenge."

After the boy said that the lights in the room switched back on. Bela remained in place with her knife at his throat and her legs pinning his arms down. She remained silent while the door at the end of the room hissed open. The quiet tension broke as her assignment leader, Zeno, approached.

"Ahhh dear Bela, it seems you have already met Killua, how delightful!" Zeno said with a knowing smile. Bela could only stare at Killua in shock, she didn't even bother to look up at Zeno's eyes. With the lights on she was able to see Killua's face, his sapphire eyes silently taunting her hazel ones. An uncomfortable silence fell once again before Killa shifted.

"Could you get off me?"

She only glared and adjusted to look at Zeno.

"Why is he here?" Bela questioned moving her knife closer to Killua's neck to keep him from squirming.

Zeno laughed and said, "Well 204, you're one of the Academy's finest students and Killua here has personal ties to your next mission. I need you two to track this boy down and bring him here," Zeno said as he handed a file to Bela,"I've got to go set up for class, you two need to figure a way to work together and bring this kid in. I'll send more details to you later. Don't mess this up."

Bela watched as her teacher walked away, leaving just as promptly as he came and closed the door behind him. Great, now it's just me and my nemesis.. Putting the knife back in her pocket and looking down at the file she read, Gon Freecss?

"Ehem. get OFF OF ME NOW PLEASE!"

"Oh right, sorry," Bela said as she moved off of Killua, a slight blush painting her face after she realized how long she had been sitting on him….well how long and how she had been sitting on him. She slid off and held a hand out to help him up. Killua just glared at her and dismissed her gesture, his eyes admitting pure hate into her soul. Bela grew anxious over his icy look and decided to adjust her attention from his glaring eyes…...his eyes….oh wait EW NO.

"So um….Zeno said that this was personal to you...so how do you know...Gon? Is it?"

"I don't really, he's just a person I met once."

Lies, I know you're lying Killua..

"Come on, we should get going before school starts, it'll get too busy for us to leave under the radar," Killua said walking to the door. Bela's eyes grew dark as she followed his figure to the launching bay, her brain calculating what this 'Gon' person could possibly mean to a killer with no soul.

I'll find out the truth soon…..and then I'll make sure you're gone for good this time.
