Rachel gets drunk of a night out and drunk dials.
Drunk Dial
Rachel left the bathroom of the club that she was in and leant against the wall. She'd been out with her girlfriends to celebrate Santana getting her dream job and she was feeling very drunk. Rachel didn't normally go clubbing but it was Santana's choice and, at least for this evening, whatever Santana wanted, Santana got.
When she finally felt like the room wasn't spinning, she pushed herself away from the club wall and went to find her friends. Walking up to Quinn, Santana, Brittney and Kitty, they could immediately see how drunk she was. Which was a surprise in itself; Rachel wasn't much of a drinker, she would rather go out for a nice meal and have an early night rather than go out drinking, she knew that a night of heavy drinking could have the potential to destroy her voice which, considering her voice was a big part of her livelihood, that was the last thing she wanted.
"Are you ok?" Santana asked, going up to her friend and putting an arm around her to steady her. Santana's girlfriend, Brittney, seemed to notice what was going on, while Quinn and Kitty continued to dance, and came to help.
"Um…I'm tired." Rachel said, holding a hand to her head. "I think it's time for me to go home." She said apologetically. "I'm really sorry, San."
Santana shook her head. "Don't be sorry, babe. You've had a good time tonight, that's all that matters." She said, pulling her friend into her and giving her a hug.
Santana then turned around and called Quinn and Kitty, who were still dancing. "Rachel is going home." She said to the both of them when they had gathered around.
Hugs were exchanged, Rachel told the four girls what a great time she'd had, and promises were made to meet a few days later to discuss Santana's new job. Finally, Rachel left the club so she could ring a taxi to get home.
Rachel woke up the next morning with a pounding headache, a dry throat and she was sleeping in a bed that she recognised but it wasn't her own. She immediately threw the covers off of her and saw that she was only dressed in the black matching underwear she'd worn the night before. She groaned and put a hand to her forehead. "What did I do?" she groaned as her head fell.
"You didn't do anything." Rachel head shot up. She frowned when she saw Jesse, leaning against the bedroom doorframe. Rachel hadn't even noticed that the bedroom door was open.
"What am I doing here?" she asked her ex.
Jesse chuckled, which Rachel found infuriating, and walked further into the bedroom. Rachel immediately pulled the duvet covers back around her so Jesse couldn't see more of her naked body than he maybe already had.
"What do you think you're doing here?" he asked cryptically.
"Stop with the games, Jesse." Rachel said tiredly. "I thought we were past that."
Jesse shrugged and sat down at the edge of his bed. "Sometimes it still fun to mess with you." he laughed. Rachel rolled her eyes at his words. "You called me last night. Asked me to come and get you."
Rachel immediately scoffed at his words. "As if." She said, now she was laughing. "I was going to get a taxi." She insisted.
"Maybe that's what you planned." Jesse said simply. "Plans changed."
"No." Rachel insisted.
"I'm afraid so. Check your phone if you don't believe me." Jesse insisted. "You did sound quite drunk." He laughed again. "I was quite surprised, actually. You normally hate drinking."
"I'm surprised you picked up." Rachel said under her breath. She ran a hand through her hair and began to look around for her clothes. "Where are my clothes?" she asked when she couldn't find them.
Jesse chuckled under his breath and Rachel noticed he had a slight blush on his cheeks. "When you arrived here, I tried to get you to go to bed so you could sleep it off, but you insisted on drinking more. You always were so stubborn." He said with another chuckle. Rachel found it frustrating that he kept doing that. "And since you knew where I normally keep the alcohol, I couldn't stop you. You then spilled alcohol all over your dress when you were dancing and jumping around so when you took it off to finally go to bed, I washed it for you. It's hanging up, ready for you to put back on." Jesse explained.
"Get it for me." Rachel demanded.
Jesse rolled his eyes but did as his ex-girlfriend asked.
When he came back in, he threw the dress to Rachel. "You looked hot in the dress." Jesse said immediately.
"Leave, so I can get dressed." She said, ignoring what Jesse had said.
"Seen it all before, babe." He said but actually got up to leave her alone in the room. When he left however, she blushed, her cheeks heating up.
When she came out of Jesse's bedroom, back in the dress she'd worn the night before, she had a few more questions.
"What else happened last night?" she asked, shyly.
"I told you." he replied.
Rachel shook her head. She opened her mouth but shut it quickly, not willing to say what she was thinking.
"We didn't have sex." Even if she didn't say it, Jesse knew what she meant. "If that's what you're skating around."
Rachel nodded again. "Good to know." She said as she began to get her things together so she could leave Jesse's home and get back to her own.
"Rach." He called, just before Rachel left Jesse's home.
"What?" she replied as she turned around to stare at him.
"I'm always going to answer your call." He promised.
Rachel blushed again, she nodded and finally left the apartment.
What did you think?
