DISCLAIMER: I do not own Sue Thomas FBeye or any of its characters, so if you recognize a person from this program or any other (I might put in a cameo here and there), know that I do not own them at all. All scenarios and people that you do not recognize, I own that, though they might be inspired from something else, but in no way is it copying them. If I am missing something in this copyright notice, please let me know!
KEY: Italics are a memory, and all caps is ASL. Sorry, some of my ASL grammar is bad. I only know some ASL, so if anyone knows how to properly say any sentences I write in ASL, please let me know, and I will change it to be how it should be! Also, I hate constantly writing about people wearing masks. So if they're in a public place, just imagine everyone wearing masks, please!
NOTE: PAH! We've arrived at the event we've all been waiting for for soooo many years! I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I LOVED writing it! This one's a bit short to introduce everyone and get the various events in gear, but the next ones are longer, of course. Also, yes, I know many of the events in this story most likely would've been done probably weeks before when they're set in here. I just wanted to have it all together in a very wedding themed 4-part epic! Also, I didn't really feel like typing 20+ names over and over again repeatedly, so in the next 3 episodes, whenever there is a party (Wedding shower, wedding, etc.), just imagine everyone is there. Not one of their friends want to miss this event of the decade and neither do I! Enjoy!
TRIVA: What does Myles mean by the last one?
?-?
"Here you go." Myles replied as he handed Jack a large cloth bag. "The last one."
Jack smiled as he took the bag. "Aw, it was so nice when you were doing it for me! Oh well, I'll be marrying Sue in a few weeks. She can do it then."
"Don't you dare push that on her. It's hard work!" Myles complained as he walked into the house after Jack.
He turned around and smiled. "Care to lose another bet?"
"No way. I've learned my lesson." Myles replied as he sat down at the kitchen table, looking at all the papers skewed around.
"Sorry. Last minute wedding plans." Jack explained as he tried to shuffle it into one messy pile at the other end of the table. "You know, even with Monique, wedding planning is hard work!"
"You're lucky you, Sue, Mya and Josh got two and some weeks off before your weddings, then another week for your honeymoons."
"It's really needed, you know? We all have been doing nothing but running around. I can't wait, but I can't wait till things settle down too, you know?" He replied.
Myles nodded in understanding. "On the other hand, we all are really missing you."
"I do too, especially tomorrow. All the parents are coming in." He replied, which resulted in a wince from the two men. "I love my parents, but having them here for two weeks will be a bit much."
"Well, good luck!" Myles said as he stood up.
"Hey, you're leaving me all on my own?" He complained.
"They're not my parents!" He called as he walked towards the door. Jack just shook his head and laughed.
?-?
"No, turn here!" Lillian said loudly, pointing to an upcoming street early the next morning.
"That's what you said about the last block." James replied.
"Well it's this darn phone. I can't see a thing!" She complained as she scrutinized the map on her phone. "Turn!" She yelled, and James quickly turned the car.
"You had to get a rental car, not taking a cab. It would've been so much easier." He complained at his wife.
"And what would happen if we wanted to go somewhere by ourselves?" She countered.
"Take a cab!" He replied.
"No thank you. This is fine." She said, then looked back at the phone. "Now, there should be a street coming up, here. Turn left." She said, then James turned left. "OK, one more block, then we're there."
James nodded, waiting for the next direction.
?-?
"Congratulations!" Connie and Bill exclaimed as Jack opened the door.
"Hello! Come in!" Jack replied, moving aside so his parents could come through the door. Barky woofed his hellos as well, excited to meet the new people.
"We're so excited for you!" Connie said, looking around the house. "Wow." She whispered when she took it all in. "And you did this all for her."
Jack nodded. "It has all the latest technology for the Deaf." He replied, then went about to show how the doorbell works.
"That has to be a bit startling." Bill replied, seeing all the lights flash around the house.
Jack nodded. "It was at first. But I got used to it."
Connie smiled at her son. "It was so good of you to do this for her."
He slightly embarrassedly smiled. "Yeah."
"So? When will we get to meet the rest of your friends?" She asked.
Jack nodded. "Saturday at the wedding shower."
"Aw, two whole days?" She complained.
"But we're having dinner with Sue and her Mom tonight." He added.
She smiled, satisfied. "That's better."
"Hey, hey!" Bob exclaimed as he came down the stairs, seeing his brother and sister in law. "I thought I heard voices!"
Bill smiled widely at his brother. "There's the other engaged Hudson man! How's engaged life treating you?"
Bob nodded as he stepped down on the last step, then walked over to them. "Good, no, amazing."
Connie smiled. "Good! Then you're going to love married life."
"Oh, yes." He replied, smiling widely.
Just then, the doorbell rang and lit up, Bill and Connie jumping at the sight and also at Barky's barking at the doorbell.
Jack and Bob chuckled when they saw their response. "You'll get used to it." Bob replied as Jack went to answer the door.
"So Jack says." Bill replied.
"Hey!" Hailey exclaimed as she, John and Emily walked in. "Sorry we didn't come with Mom and Dad. Kids sure make you take a lot longer than adults." She replied, lovingly glaring at Emily.
Jack chuckled. "That's OK. I'm just glad you're here." He replied, then proceeded to hug his family hello.
"Uncle Jack," Emily started after she hugged him hello.
"Yes, Emily?" He asked.
"Momma said I get to be a flower girl in your wedding. That's why I have such a pretty dress."
He smiled and nodded in reply. "Yes, you do, along with Sue's friend's daughter, DeeDee."
She smiled at him. "Good. I like that idea."
He smiled back. "Me too." He said, then stood up straight. "Now," he started, looking at his family. "Ready to have a full tour?" Everyone cheered, so he took that as a yes, showing them around the house and all the different things he installed especially for Sue.
