Henry paced through his corridor. It was the day before his wedding to Jacinda. He was excited for the next chapter of his life. However, his mind drifted to his family still in Storybrooke. He had planned on taking Jacinida to Storybrooke one day, but this weekend didn't work out.
The wedding was going to be at Tiana's castle. The ceremony would happen in the chapel, and the reception would be in the ballroom. It was going to be a pretty big wedding. Anytime there was a wedding in the castle, it drew a large crowd.
Regina entered the castle. "You're so grown up," Regina said. "Getting cold feet?"
"A little," Henry said. "How was your quest?"
"It went well," Regina said. "I wasn't completely honest where I went. I went searching for some of those inter-realm beans. I went to a few realms."
"Did you find what you were searching for?" Henry asked.
"I wasn't really searching for anything," Regina said. "Bur rather pick up."
"Hey, kid," Emma said. Henry turned around and saw his mom. Killian was close behind, holding little Hope in his arms.
"Mom," Henry said. Henry hugged his mother.
"I can't believe you're getting married," Emma said. "You never know how quickly time flies in Storybrooke. It feels like just yesterday you were that little kid, showing up to my apartment."
"Yeah, it took me a moment to adjust as well," Henry confessed. "It's great to see you as well, Hook."
"You too, son," Killian said. "Get ready. There is this one custom from the world without magic I'm fond of. It's called a Bachelor party, I believe. You were away for your twenty-first birthday, so I'm buying you your first drink."
"Sounds great," Henry said. They then left to find their sleeping corridors. He turned around to face her mom. "Thank you. For bringing them."
"You're welcome," Regina said. "I kind of missed them as well. Your grandparents are also here, but Neal was being extra fussy. They're going to stop by later."
Henry nodded. "How's the bride to be?" Regina asked. "I don't think she and Emma have properly met. Or her and the other Killian."
"That's going to be a handful to remember tomorrow," Henry said. "But Jacinda is doing great."
"Good," Regina said.
Tiana entered Jacinda's sleep courts. "Henry is out for the night," Tiana said. "He's doing something with Jack and their Hook. We should go and do something. Have a girl's night."
"Sounds good," Jacinda sighed.
"Cold feet?" Tiana asked.
"Kind of," Jacinda said. "I'm just kind of nervous about marrying into the Charming family. He comes from a long and impressive family. It's intimidating, I love Henry, and I wanna be with him. It's just a little nerve-racking."
"You have no reason to be nervous," Tiana said. "They're a very accepting family. You don't need to come from a huge or proliferate royal family. Your true love is more than enough."
"You're right," Jacinda said.
"I know I am," Tiana shrugged. "Now, let's go get some drinks."
On the morning of the wedding, everyone got ready. Henry wore a black suit and black dress pants. Jack was with him to help him get ready. "Your soon-to-be in-laws are nowhere to be found," Jack said.
"Good," Henry said. "I want everything to be perfect."
Emma entered the room. "It's time," Emma said. "You look good, Henry."
"Thanks," Henry said. They walked to the chapel. The gold wedding band laid in his pocket. Henry walked down the aisle to meet the preachers. He stood there nervously as the wedding march began.
Henry's breath was taken away as his eyes landed on Jacinda. She was wearing a ballgown with tule off-shoulder sleeves. Tears were beginning to fill up his eyes as Jacinda takes his hands. The preacher went on with his speech.
"Do you take this man to be your husband?" the preacher asked. "To have and hold, in sickness and in health, to love and honor?"
"I do," Jacinda said.
"And do you take this woman to be your wife?" the preacher asked. "To have and to hold. in sickness and in health, in good times and woe?"
"I do," Henry said.
"May I have the rings?" the preacher asked. He was given the rings. They slipped the rings on each other's fingers. "I now pronounce you man and wife. You may now kiss the bride."
Henry kissed his bride as he dipped her. The audience cheered. Henry smiled into the kiss. He had just married the woman he loved. They married in front of his family. He knew this wasn't a happy ending. They still had battles to fight. Now, he had someone to be by his side as he fought. His wife. The woman he loves. His partner. Eventually, she'd become the mother of his daughter.
