The next morning Ana woke up, thinking about all the things Calinico had told her. The older man knew that he was taking a huge risk by telling Ana, but still he decided to be open with her. He told her about Agathe and the curse. Something told him that it was for the best; that it was very crucial for her to know about it.

As a sigh escaped Ana's lips, she got out of bed and went to take a shower. She didn't know what to think anymore. Could the story of the curse be real? No, it must just be a myth; she was in Greece after all. And to be honest, Ana was a rational person. She wasn't the kind of woman who believed in curses or spells. She believed in cold hard facts. This story about the curse was ridiculous! Right? And even Christian said that it was all fake! Then why was he reluctant to tell her the rest of the story? Was he the kind of man who believed in such things? No, Ana didn't think so.

At that, Ana groaned aloud. She decided to stop overthinking it, and just enjoy this beautiful morning in this wonderful island. She got dressed and combed her shiny hair. As she applied natural make-up, she felt her stomach do delicious flip flops. The anticipation of seeing the always- in control Mr. Grey, made her a bit afraid, and at the same time she was very excited.

Ana was wearing a beige summer dress and underneath, she wore her green bikini. She couldn't wait to jump into the blue ocean. Maybe she could use Christian's private beach? She'll ask him about.' I'm sure he wouldn't mind' Ana thought.

Before walking out the door, she greeted her dad and grabbed her sunglasses and bag. It was exactly 8:30 in the morning, when she arrived downstairs in the hotel lobby. As she walked outside, she noticed that the limo was already waiting for her. God, Christian was so punctual!

As Ana stepped inside the car, the driver greeted her enthusiastically. The ride to the villa was everything but boring, because the driver was very friendly and told Ana a lot about the island. She really enjoyed listening to the man. When the villa came into view, Ana let out a deep breath.

"Here goes." she whispered.

As she stepped out the limo, Calinico was the one to welcome her and escorted her inside. Christian was reading the morning paper, while drinking a cup of coffee. As their eyes locked, her stomach did its oh so familiar flip flops. Gosh, she was acting like a 15 year old teenager!

Christian got up and welcomed her with a smile on his face."Good morning, Ana."

At that, Ana's lips curled into a small smile." Good morning, Christian." she replied, her eyes resting on his.

They were chatting about the island and her job. They were also talking about his business and about everything else. Ana really enjoyed the breakfast, looking at the man in front of her. This time, he wasn't wearing a tux like the night before. He was wearing a plain button down shirt and dark blue jeans. Christian really looked good in jeans... Correction, he looked hot in it.

His hair was still a bit wet, making him look all the more ruggedly handsome. And his voice… At the moment, Ana was mentally slapping herself, because from the first time she heard his voice through the phone, she thought it sounded super attractive, sexy even. And now that she was able to place the voice with his face, it all made perfect sense. And don't forget his smile... it was beautiful also.

"Ana, are you listening?" Christian asked, while furrowing his brows.

"Huh? Yeah, of course. You were saying?" she asked, as she nervously ran a hand over her hair.

Oh God, she was so busted! Ana knew that at the moment her cheeks had turned crimson red, so she did her very best to avoid his gaze.

"I asked if you still wanna know the rest of the story?" he said, attempting to lock eyes with her.

Ana looked up at him, and nervously tapped at the table. "Yes, of course." She replied.

Christian let out a breath, and began to tell her. Within minutes, he was done. "And that was it." He simply said.

At that, Ana looked him straight in the eyes and felt as if her blood was about to boil. Christian purposely left important details out.

"So, that's it? There isn't more? The book says that one day a woman who looks like Agathe will return and break the curse. But… in the book is not written how she will break the curse?!" Ana asked, as she threw daggers at him with her pretty eyes.

Christian observed Ana, and noticed that she was getting angry, while her voice went a pitch higher than normal. He didn't know what was going on.

'Why was she angry?' he wondered.

"Yes, that is it." Christian replied.

"Nothing else? There isn't more? You aren't leaving important details out?" she asked, as Ana's anger rose inside her, burning in the bowels of her stomach.

At that, Christian looked her straight in the eyes and lied. "No." he said.

Ana expected that he would leave the most important thing out, but still she was very disappointed and angry at him. He must have a very good reason to leave things out, but she just hated that he thought that he could control everything! Maybe he didn't want her to stress her about the curse, but why couldn't he just open up and tell her the truth! Instead of trying to 'protect' her from it by telling her half truths! Arghh! At that, Ana had enough!

" Sorry to say this, Christian Grey. But you are so full of it!" She spat and walked away.

Christian was left behind speechless for a few minutes, wondering what just had happened.

"Ana. Ana, wait! Where do you think you're going?" he asked worriedly.

"I am going to take a walk in your garden, if you don't mind!" he heard her say.

At that, he saw that she already was out of sight.

He groaned aloud, and walked inside the villa to grab his phone and went after Ana. When he returned outside, he saw Calinico coming from the garden.

"Mr. Christian, I don't think it's a good idea for miss Ana to go swimming now. The current of the sea is very strong this morning." Calinico stated.

"What? She is going swimming?!" Christian shouted.

"Yes, she just told me." the older man replied.

"But why didn't you stop her! It could be very dangerous for Ana!" Christian spat.

"I did warn her, sir. But she seemed determined and just kept walking away. I'm so sorry, Mr. Christian." the older man apologized.

"Aargh! Don't worry, I'll catch her before she goes into the water!" Christian replied, as he hastily went after Ana, almost running.

XXX XX XXXX

The path that Ana had taken was very well taken care of. It really was a beautiful place. She heard the birds singing and enjoyed nature immensely .

"Mr. Grey, you do have a beautiful estate." She whispered.

Ana had picked a flower and put it in her hair. She kept walking, as she enjoyed the beautiful scenery. It was more than a 30 minute walk. Phew! As Ana finally reached the beach, she stared her eyes out while in awe of the beauty before her. This private beach was amazing! She pulled her dress over her head and placed it on some bushes.

Ana then walked on the beach, but something told her to look back from where she came from. It was then when she saw him. Christian was waving and saying something from afar, but she was too angry with him to listen what he had to say. Ana jumped into the water and began to swim from the shore.

When Christian had finally reached the beach, he noticed at a certain point that Ana was struggling heavily with the current! He should go after her! Without hesitation Christian got rid of his shoes and his shirt and jumped into the cold water. He hasn't swum in 3 years, but he had always been a very strong swimmer. Since Demetrios' tragedy, he hadn't been in the water…

At one point, Ana had become very tired and felt like she was losing the battle. She was panicking! This whole time, Ana tried swimming to the shore, but instead the current brought her further and further away from it. Against her will, Ana was heading into the open sea! OH GOD!

Christian swam with all of his strength; his mind refused to give up and forced his body not to!

'God, please don't let this happen. Don't bring her lifeless in my arms. Please, God.' He prayed silently, as his throat closed up.

At that very moment, his heart was ramming against his rib cage. Faster, faster! He had to reach her now! He must safe Ana!

The moment he reached Ana, he instantly grabbed her tightly. Christian held her like he never wanted to let her go, and she held onto him, like he was her lifeline. Relieved, he began to swim bit by bit to the shore. It took all of his strength and energy, but he managed to do so.

Out of breath, they finally felt land under their feet. Spent, they both lied on the beach, attempting to catch their breaths. Ana's eyes had fluttered shut for a few moments. She heard how Christian was breathing, assuming that he was really tired. Ana turned to her side to look at his face; he was taking deep breaths and had his eyes closed at that moment.

OK, she had almost died. But Ana couldn't help checking him out. Christian wasn't wearing a shirt…

As a sigh escaped her plump lips, she decided to apologize. Ana assumed that he must be furious at her!

"Are you just going to stare at me? Or are you going to apologize." He said with his eyes still closed, in his oh so calm voice.

At that, Ana got up and shouted."I was going to apologize, Christian!"

He opened his eyes, shook his head and politely said." I am still waiting."

"Aaargh!" Ana groaned at that, and tried walking away.

He saw that and swiftly got on his feet, and gently grabbed her by the arm.

"Where do you think you're going? And why in heaven's name did you walk away from breakfast?" he asked, locking eyes with her, his voice a pitch lower than usual.

"Why? You seriously are going to look me in the eyes and ask me why I left? Seriously?!" she shouted.

"I don't get it. What? What did I do wrong?" he asked.

"I know, OK. I know that you left very important details out, Christian. Calinico told me every little thing about the curse. Why? Why would you do that, huh? Why did you tell me half truths?" she spat.

In that moment, Ana was all up in Christian's face. In one split second, she saw his walls falter but just as she thought that he'd explain, he had those invisible walls around him again!

Ana groaned loudly at that, and attempted to walk away once more, but he was still holding her arm in his grip.

"No, you are not walking away again." he said calmly.

"OK, then tell me! Tell me why you would do it? Why would you lie? I am a big girl. I can handle it. I know that you must have a very good reason why you didn't tell me everything about the curse. But what is it? Why? Let me in on it." she pleaded.

At that, Christian let out a breathy sigh.

"You can tell me, Christian. It's about me. Why would you tell me half truths. And besides, you told me that the curse was fake! So it really did not matter if I know about it, right? It's not so hard to tell me. Right?" Ana said with pleading eyes.

She just wanted him to open up to her, nothing more or less.

"Sorry, Ana. But we really need to find your dress. You don't want to get sick on your vacation. You must be cold in only your bikini." Christian calmly replied, as he avoided the topic.

Ana couldn't believe her ears."God, you really infuriate me! That's you, huh! Christian Grey. Always calm, nice, friendly and most of all, don't forget this one! Most of all: very polite!" she spat and pulled her hand from his iron grip.

"I don't get why you are so angry at me. I should be the one who's angry, cause you didn't listen to Calinico when he warned you not to go swimming. What? You think that you're 'immortal' like Agathe?" Christian asked calmly.

"Then be angry! Be furious at me! Tell me off! Do something! Give me a reaction, any reaction! Besides your freaking politeness and friendliness and…calmness! Give me something! Show me that you are capable to let your guard down and capable to let it out and let go of your 'precious' control. I know you want to, but let me tell you Christian, you cannot always control everything and everyone! " she spat, as she glared at him.

At that, Christian finally decided to open up to Ana." I didn't tell you the whole story, because I didn't want to stress you out. Your father told me that you had to deal with a lot of stress lately. You've been through something horrible in your personal life not so long ago. He didn't tell me the details, don't worry, Ana. Like I said, I didn't want you to stress while you were here in Tinos. I lied, because I wanted to prevent that you would find out about 'breaking of the curse'. I didn't want to drag you into my messed up life. Yeah, I think it's fake and you know it's fake, but still. I bet you are wondering about it since Calinico told you. Right? Asking yourself: what if it weren't fake? Wondering, breaking your head about it, stressing… I didn't want that for you. I was determined to make sure that you had an amazing, 7 weeks' vacation without any drama, head ache, stress or worry. I wanted you to enjoy your vacation, because that's what your father had asked from me."

Wow! Ana didn't expect that explanation. She was very happy that he had told her the reason why he lied, well technically, why he omitted the important details about the so called curse. She was glad that he had opened up to her.

At that, Ana locked eyes with him, and said."I'm really sorry that I went swimming. I didn't know that the current would be so strong."

Christian's eyes twinkled, as he looked down at her. Ana looked so calm right now compared to the whirlwind slash tornado from not long ago.

"Thank you." she said with the softest voice.

"For?" he asked.

"For explaining it to me. For letting me in. For saving my life. I mean it. Thank you very much." She replied.

"You're welcome." He said, and smiled at her.

"OK, you really need some clothes. Cause you're shivering, Ana." He uttered.

At that, she sighed and said."I think the wind blew away my dress. I don't see it anymore. Damn it!"

"Don't worry, here's my shirt. Wear it, please?" he asked, as he handed it over to her.

"What about you?" Ana asked.

"Don't worry about me. I'm not the one shivering." He replied.

At that, Ana wore the shirt.

"OK, I think you are purposely doing this." She said with her hand on her hip.

"Doing what?" Christian asked, his brows furrowing.

"Being all shirtless and showing off your... six pack, I mean your …body." she mumbled.

Ana was quite aware of his gorgeous, gorgeous body now that she wasn't angry with him anymore.

"What did you say?" he asked, smiling widely.

"I didn't stutter." She replied coyly.

"But you mumbled." He said, still smiling.

At that, Ana rolled her pretty eyes at him, making him burst into laughter. He too was quite aware of her in her bikini earlier. She looked pretty incredible in it, that was a fact!

"Where to now, Mr. Grey?" Ana joked.

"To my small cottage. It's nearby. We're gonna get you some warm clothes. Is that OK with you?" he asked.

She nodded in agreement."I can't wait to see it. Let's get out of here, Mr. AlwaysPolite."

At that, Christian smiled and wondered.' She hasn't run yet, even though she knows a lot more about 'the curse'. Why hasn't Ana run yet?'
