As Ana took a shower, her mind drifted off to him. With her eyes closed, she thought about her time here in Tinos. Ana felt that she has changed, the moment she set foot on this Grecian island. Not 1 day was boring since she had been here. And Christian had been the center of all that had happened. In the past 5 days, during the time that she didn't have the chance to see him, she thought about running away again.
Why? Because being with Christian seem to be so difficult. So many obstacles were in their way. Was love worth all this trouble? The old Ana would have said no to that question and would have left already, but the new Ana couldn't leave— even if she attempted to.
She felt like an invisible force was keeping her here in Tinos. It was making her stay here… with Christian. But she didn't feel like it was forcing her… no not at all. Ana wanted to stay here with Christian of her own free will. But Ana also had a gut feeling that he kept secrets from her. And as she thought about it more and more, her head told her that it might have to do with the Niarxos family curse.
The man that made her hit her head in the forest. Where was he? Who was he? Did Christian know him? One day she was going to ask him about it all. When they both were at Galya's cottage, she accidentally heard them talking. Apparently she wanted Christian to tell Ana something.
She immediately walked away, because Ana didn't like to eavesdrop. Plus… she believed that if it was something very important, Christian would tell her… in time. Maybe it wasn't the right time for her to know yet. It's like how she didn't feel that it was the right time to tell him about what happened to her and Philip.
Why did her life had to be so complicated? Her dad had asked her how she felt about Christian. Her answer: 'I have fallen for him, dad. Deeply.'
Without hesitation, she said those words. Not even a bit of doubt in her voice. Ana didn't know who this Xylia was, but if she must, she was willing to fight for Christian.
Why? Because she wanted to keep him in her life, and cause she needed him in her life. As Ana's eyes slowly fluttered open, she knew that she was ready to see him again. He did promise to make it up to her at the ball. Oh, she definitely will forgive him for the past 5 days. But first, she was gonna make him grovel… at her feet.
She giggled at the thought. With a determined and mischievous look on her face, Ana walked out of the shower with a towel wrapped around her body.
"Game on, Christian Grey." She whispered.
((()))
As Ana pulled the gorgeous, white dress over her head, she felt a delicious tingle go through her body. She looked in the mirror; God, the dress was indescribable! It was a white strapless number, making her almost feel like a true princess in it. So this was the present Christian had been talking about. She found the dress, a tiara, a matching mask and a note on her bed. Ana decided then that it was the perfect opportunity to wear her diamond earrings and a new pair of high heels that she bought, when she was in Paris last year.
Ana sat on her bed and read the note once more.
Hey sweetie,
I know that I have been super busy lately. Forgive me? I promise to make it up to u at the ball. Please wear the gifts I placed on your bed? I miss you so. Can't wait to see you.
Lots of Love,
Christian
After reading the note, she combed her hair and wore it up with a hairpin. She was about to do her make-up and contemplated what sort of look she wanted to go for. She then decided to go for a Smokey eye look.
((()))
When Kate knocked on the bedroom door, Ana had placed the tiara on her head and was standing in front of the long mirror.
"Come in." she said.
Kate was wearing her gorgeous red dress and as she walked in, she asked.
"Do I have to hel…" she began, but was cut off by the sight of Ana.
"Oh my!" Kate whispered, while she looked at her friend in awe.
((()))
At the moment, Kate and Ana were enjoying the limo ride and while they drank a glass of champagne, they chatted about the host of the masked ball. Adon Papadakis was his name.
"He is 38, handsome, wealthy and single." Kate said, looking up his info on Facebook.
Ana smiled."So you are interested in him?" she asked Kate.
"Nope, not really. And besides, you do know that he likes you." Kate stated.
"What? No he doesn't!" Ana insisted.
"Yeah, it was that afternoon when he came looking for Christian, but he wasn't home. Calinico spoke to him, while we were about to go to the beach. He was so gawking at you!" Kate said in a teasing manner.
"Whatever, Kate. I am taken." Ana replied nonchalantly.
"So, uhumm… you aren't angry at Christian anymore?"
"Still am."
"Why aren't you wearing the tiara, Ana?" Kate asked.
Ana shook her head." Kate, I am not going to wear something so expensive. Besides, Christian has to know that I need him to be here for me- and by giving me some pretty dress or tiara, doesn't make everything right. He can try to make it up to me in another manner, but not by giving me expensive gifts. That's not how it works, OK! He has ignored me for 5 days... 5 days, Kate! He must know that I am not the kind of girl who can be bought by pretty gifts!"
"OK, OK. I understand, calm down, Ana. I get you. It was just a question." Kate answered, as she held her hands in front of herself in defense.
"Sorry, I just get worked up by some of his actions. And that's also why I'm not wearing the dress he gave me." Ana said icily.
At that, Kate let out a breathy sigh." The white dress that he gave you is really enchanting. Too bad you don't want to wear it. But, luckily there was a sewing machine at the villa, so you were able to use it on your own dress. You changed up that green dress of yours pretty well; you look very nice in it, Ana."
"Thanks." Ana replied, as a smile graced her face, feeling proud at herself .
After deciding to wear her own dress, Ana placed the white dress that Christian bought for her, back in its box.
"So, Christian and Elena have left early?" Ana asked.
"Yes, Elena had to help Christian with something." Kate replied.
"We have arrived, ladies." The limo driver said, making the 2 friends smile enthusiastically.
At that, Kate whispered." Masks on, Ana."
((()))
As Christian stood with Elena near the bar, his mind automatically drifted off to the woman he was in love with. The last 5 days were so exhausting, draining all of his energy. He missed Ana so much, but he was needed somewhere else. As much as he wanted to knock on Ana's door, when he came home around 2 at night, he resisted that urge.
But not being able to be with her for almost 6 days was slowly driving him mad. He knew that she was beyond angry at him, but he couldn't tell her what he had been doing. He couldn't confide in her. He knew that she was going to interrogate him. What should he tell her? It pained him to not include her in all of this, but he didn't have a choice. Christian decided to be vague, when she would ask him about what he had been doing...
Galya's medicine was a small miracle. He used it every day, because it made the pain slowly disappear. As Christian was being consumed by his own train of thought, he heard people gasping. He frowned and looked at the well-lit entrance. The second his eyes caught what everyone was admiring, his mouth fell open slightly…
Ana! She was wearing a beautiful green dress! God! She looked breathtaking! He almost forgot to breathe… She looked like a princess in that green dress, her hair up and the silver-colored mask covering her pretty face. At that very moment, he was unable to keep his eyes off of her— right then, everything about Ana was truly enchanting! That green dress hugged every curve of Ana's body in all the right places, and her hair shone gloriously like she stepped out of a fairy tale.
As his eyes were plastered on Ana, Elena had been calling Christian, but he didn't hear her at all.
"Earth to Christian!" Elena tried once more.
"Huh?" Christian replied. "Elena, sorry but I have to go to my…"
"I know, I know. Go get her, Christian. Before someone else does." Elena encouraged him, a smile gracing her face.
Christian nodded and took the last sip of his beer. He walked straight through the crowd, wanting to be close to his girl as soon as possible.
Kate and Ana were walking hand in hand, afraid to lose each other in the crowd. Adon Papadakis' house looked like a castle. He used his living room as a dance floor and bar. You can say that he turned his living room into a ballroom. At one point, Ana felt a little uncomfortable of the way everyone was looking at her.
"Kate?" she said.
"I know, Ana. They are all staring at you."
"Ha! I see tables and chairs over there. Let's take a seat, OK?" Ana suggested and pulled Kate in that direction, not even waiting for her to answer.
"Okay, Ana."
"Tell me when you see Christian, OK?" Ana asked.
"Of course."
And just as Ana was about to take a seat, the host of the ball, Adon Papadakis tapped her on her shoulder.
"Miss Ana, Miss Kate. Welcome in my humble home. I am glad you are able to attend the ball." He said.
Ana smiled nervously." Thank you for the invitation, Mr. Papadakis."
"Please, call me Adon."
"OK." Ana replied, and turned her head to face her friend.
At that moment, Adon grabbed Ana's hand and politely asked." May I have this dance?"
Ana wanted to refuse, but he was the host! So she nodded reluctantly.
At that, Adon led her to the dance floor, while she looked around. Ana felt really like a thing on display. The music played, but she felt so uncomfortable in Adon's arms. He talked to her during the dance, but she didn't even listen to him. Her mind was only consumed by Christian. Yes, Adon was nice and handsome, but he was no Christian.
'Christian, where are you?' Ana prayed.
From a distance, Christian watched as his girl was dancing with another man! His other self, the inhuman thing inside of him was very, very jealous. As he stood still, Christian observed Adon and Ana very closely. Their host was talking to her, but Ana looked completely lost. Should he go and rescue her?
'OF COURSE!' His inner monster exclaimed. 'She is ours.'
In a flash, Christian stood next to the pair on the dance floor. At that very moment, Ana looked in his direction. Christian was also wearing a mask that covered his face, but she knew that it was him. As the seconds passed, Christian lovingly smiled at her, making Ana sigh in relief.
At that, Christian confidently tapped on Adon's shoulder and said." May I cut in?"
Adon turned around and frowned." What? No way." he replied coldly.
Christian felt that his jealousy and anger were about to get the best of him, so he said.
"Adon, it's me, Christian Grey. I'd really like to dance with my girlfriend, now." He insisted.
Adon was shocked to hear the word 'girlfriend' and immediately let Ana go.
"Of course. Sorry, I didn't know that she was your girlfriend, Christian." he replied hastily and nodded, before walking away gracefully.
Ana raised her eye brow and placed her hand on her hip.
"What an entrance, Mister Grey. So, I am your girlfriend, now?" she asked icily, as she glared at him, throwing daggers with her gorgeous eyes.
"Ana."
"No, I really would like to know. The past 5 days I didn't feel like I was someone's girlfriend. You know why? My so called 'boyfriend' avoided and ignored me during that time. It was a really shitty past few days, you know that?" she said angrily, her voice low.
Ana was happy that he was there with her. That he had saved her again, but… she was so gonna make him pay first.
He looked at her with pleading eyes, but she ignored that look.
"You can use your puppy dog eyes look all you want, it's not gonna work, Mr. Grey." I want an explanation— now. Where have you been? What have you been doing? And more importantly… with whom were you?" she blurted out, as she raised an eyebrow.
Christian sighed." Ana, please. I will explain it to you, but not now. Right now, can we just enjoy the ball and each other? Please, sweetie?" he pleaded.
At one point, Ana began to pity him and thought that he was right. The ball wasn't the place to talk about private matters. There were lots of people and the music was way too loud.
"Okay, but you have to promise me that you'll tell me the whole truth." she replied.
He nodded." Yes, I will."
At that very moment, a beautiful song played. The song was: All I need by the band: Within Temptation. Christian looked her deep in her eyes, his own eyes, pleading and full of love. He extended his arm to her, his right hand open. He patiently waited for her to accept it, waited for her to grab his hand. And as she did, a shiver went through his spine. At that same moment, Ana felt like her body was on fire…
At that point, Christian heard how her heart was ramming against her rib cage, how her breath hitched in her throat. He too had trouble controlling his heart rate, his breathing becoming shallow. Her scent invaded his nostrils, making his head spin deliciously.
"Would you like to dance, Miss?" he asked politely.
At that she nodded, her train of thought incoherent.
He gently put his hands on her waist and pulled her closer to him. Ana placed her hands on the back of his neck and it was then, when they began to dance slowly.
They gazed into each other's eyes, lost in the perfect moment.
"Ana. God, I missed you so much! And BTW, you look very enchanting. You look like a princess in that green dress." He whispered.
"Thank you. You look very handsome too." She whispered seductively, making a current go through his spine.
As Ana looked up, she got completely lost in his gorgeous eyes. She had gotten weak in the knees, so it was a good thing that he was holding her so close and so tightly. It felt like he never wanted to let her go…
Ana felt a blush coming up, so to prevent Christian from seeing how she was blushing, she rested her head on his chest.
God! It felt so good to be this close to him. She let out a breath, a bit frightened that she would lose it like before. But luckily her need for him was stronger than her fears. His body felt so warm and all she wanted was to feel him closer.
She took in his scent with her eyes closed, overwhelmed by her love for him. Ana stayed in his arms, dancing slowly, while her head rested on his very warm chest. As she savored the moment, she opened her eyes and looked around the dance floor. Couples were dancing and laughing, talking and enjoying this enchanting evening. God! She was so thankful for this magical evening! What a ball.
At one point, he even played with a lock of her shiny hair… Too soon, the song ended and an upbeat song followed.
((()))
After dancing for a while, they both were thirsty. As Christian handed Ana a glass of punch, she smiled at him lovingly. And she was planning to make him grovel at her feet? Haha! That was a joke! She couldn't see him suffer for one bit. After Ana had taken a sip of her drink, she placed her glass on a table. She couldn't take it anymore.
With loving eyes, she gently cupped his face and pulled him towards her. Their lips collided in a soft, but desperate kiss, their eyes closed without their accord. They kissed each other passionately, the need for each other evident and clear. It didn't matter if people were around, if they were staring or if they envied them. All that mattered was Christian and Ana.
He pulled away first, making her whimper out of protest. He looked her in the eyes…
"Ana… not here." he whispered, his voice filled with desire and love.
"Christian." She whispered.
He was worried that she would react like last time, but he missed and needed her so much. His body and heart were aching for her, just as hers was for his. So without further a due, Christian grabbed her hand and led her out of the dance floor. Ana looked around and saw Kate standing next to Elena- both of them smiling and Kate even winking at her.
Kate locked eyes with Ana and mouthed." Go, I will stay with Elena."
The second they were in the hall, Christian grabbed her mask and tore it swiftly from her gorgeous face. He was finally able to see her whole face.
"God, you are so beautiful!" he whispered.
Ana answered him, by grabbing his face roughly and kissing him with all the need she had for him. Her heart was beating erratically, but she wasn't afraid. She was afraid of one thing and that was that someone was going to interrupt them…
They broke the kiss, realizing that they were still in Adon's house. Hand in hand, they walked straight to the limo and took a seat in it. As the limo drove away, Christian nervously looked at Ana. What he saw in her eyes, made him swallow hard. He saw love, need and desire.
Christian was about to take off his mask, but she stopped him.
She shook her head." Uh…uh. Leave it." She whispered, and then bit her swollen bottom lip.
At that, Christian shook his head. "Ana, stop for one second. Do you really want this? I don't think I could bear it if this night ended like last time. I don't want to push you into doing anything you're clearly nor ready for. I won't be able to bear it, if…" he began, but she cut him off.
"I am ready, Christian." She said, the tone of her voice so convincing, and the look in her eyes so full of love, he swore it would even convince the most heartless person.
At that, their eyes were locked on one another, both waiting for the other, the seconds crawling by extremely slowly. "OK, then." He replied, his throat instantly dry, the anticipation killing him.
In one swift move, Ana sat on his lap and brought her lips to his ear." Christian Grey, you Greek God. Oh, how I want you so."
Christian felt his other self in him roar. He cupped her face and looked her deep in the eyes.
"What do we have here? A Goddess gone wild?" he whispered.
But before she could answer him, he crashed his lips onto hers. Ana moaned softly into his mouth, feeling how he was claiming her lips... like some wild, sexy animal.
Lips were moving, tongues were playing with each other and at one point, hands were touching and gripping and tugging. Her fingers grabbed his hair, while his hand disappeared in her soft, shiny locks. He touched her with so much love; she bet that it made angels cry…
Breathes became ragged and shallow, bottom lips were being softly bitten while whimpers were being heard.
They got so lost into each other, lost in their passion for each other, that they didn't realize that the limo came to a stop.
"Mr. Grey, you are home." The limo driver said.
As they entered Christian's villa, he took off his mask and locked hands with her. They were about to go up the stairs, but Calinico called Christian.
"Sir, I am so sorry to disturb you. But you have company." He said, in an apologetic manner.
"Company? Who? But I don't expect anyone…" he began, but when he saw the woman, he stopped.
"Xylia. What are you doing here?" he demanded.
But lucky for Christian, this time he didn't let go of Ana's hand. Instead, he held it tighter.
"It's my son. He's having another attack. Please, come. Only you can help him, sir." The woman said, her voice trembling, her eyes welling up.
(((())))
As Christian heard from Xylia that he was needed at her place, he nodded at her and took Ana aside. She walked behind him and he led her to the balcony. Christian wasn't sure how to explain. He had done his very best up until now to prevent Ana from knowing about Xylia and her son. But guess fate decided otherwise.
Ana observed his face and wondered what it all was about. Will he explain it all to her? Or not? She was so scared for that answer. Christian held both her hands in his and looked her deep in the eyes.
"Ana, I am so sorry. But I have to go. The woman inside is a very good friend of the family and she has a son. He is sick and very troubled. I need to go and help her with him. I really must go." He pleaded.
Ana heard his words, but what she realized made her heart ache. She had a feeling that at the moment, he wasn't completely honest with her. Christian was telling her half-truths and she hated it. As a sigh escaped her pretty lips, Ana decided to let it go— for now, only for now, because that Xylia woman looked like she was on the verge of breaking down. Ana was not sure if Xylia was able to contain her emotions any longer. So, even though she wanted to give Christian a piece of her mind, Ana decided to let it go— for now…
"It's okay, you can go." Ana whispered and looked the other way.
Christian still had her hands in his and kissed them, before leading her back inside. He hated to leave Ana like this, but he didn't have another choice. He had to help Xylia's son. The boy was in a horrible situation at the moment. As he tried to swallow the lump in his throat, Christian squeezed Ana's hand one more time, and then walked out the front door with Xylia.
Ana was in deep thought, when Calinico tapped her on her shoulder.
She was startled and jumped up. " Calinico! Gosh, you scared me!" she exclaimed.
"Sorry Miss, but would you like me to make you a cup of tea?" he asked concerned.
"Huh? Ummm, no thank you. I'm tired and wanna get some rest." She replied.
He nodded and wished her goodnight. But just as she was about to go up the stairs, she turned around.
"Calinico, I don't mean to be too curious but I can't help it. Who is Xylia?" she asked, while looking the butler with pleading eyes.
"Xylia? She is the ex-wife of Christian's cousin." He replied cautiously.
At that, Ana furrowed her brows, and asked." Cousin? Which cousin? Why hasn't Christian introduced me to him?" she asked.
Calinico knew that they were now on very dangerous grounds. So he advised." Miss Ana, I know that you have a lot of questions and you want answers. But please, can you ask Mr. Christian about them? I don't want to be in the middle of it all. I wanna tell you, I do. But it's not my place to do so."
Ana nodded at that." You are right. I should ask him, not you. Sorry." She apologized.
Calinico nodded and walked away, leaving Ana alone with more questions than ever before.…
((()))
As Xylia's house came into view, Christian's super senses went into overdrive. He let out a deep breath and stopped the car. Xylia nor he had spoken, since they drove away from the villa. He and Xylia stepped out of the car. And just as he was about to walk to the house, Xylia grabbed his arm. He stopped in his tracks and looked at her.
"What? What is it?" he asked cautiously.
"Mr. Christian, the beautiful woman in the green dress. She's your girlfriend?" she asked worriedly.
He nodded." Yes, she is. What about her?" he asked.
"Does she know? About you?" she asked.
He shook his head." No, she doesn't. And she doesn't have to. I want to spare her the burden of knowing." He replied firmly.
The woman shook her head and gripped his arm tightly." You must tell her! You must! The risk is too great, if you don't. She deserves to know!" she pleaded, her eyes welling up.
At that, Christian gently tugged his arm from her tight grip." Xylia! We need to tend to your son now. I can hear that he needs me. Now!" he demanded, not wanting to talk about his precious Ana to Xylia.
She nodded and led the way inside her house. As Christian heard the boy, he felt a chill up his spine. Being here, reminded him of a very horrible time in his life— a time where he endured gut wrenching pain and horror… a time he wished he was able to erase from his memory…
xxx
As Ana went up the stairs, she did her best to control her emotions. The second her bedroom door was locked behind her, she closed her eyes. Her tears rolled down her cheeks without her accord, while she walked to the bathroom. She saw her reflection in the mirror; she wanted to get out of the green dress. The first thing she did was undress. As she pulled it over her head, all kind of emotions washed over her.
It took so little for her to feel this insecure again. Christian lied to her! Ana didn't think that he was romantically involved with Xylia, but the fact of the matter is that he lied to her. She wasn't a friend of the family! But sort of his family; well her son was Christian's family. Why didn't he just tell her the truth? What secret or SECRETS was he hiding from her?
Christian didn't trust her enough to confide in her. If he didn't trust her, what the hell was he doing calling her his 'girlfriend'?!
Sighing deeply, she tried to calm herself. But it was no use; the whole situation made her on edge. At the masked ball, he promised to tell her the whole truth. And when it came down to it, he lied in her face…
Tears rolled down her cheeks, while she thought about her relationship with Christian. Was it based on a lie? At the moment, Ana felt so lost. She immediately thought about what had happened to her a couple of months ago- What Philip had done to her. Ana's relationship with her ex was based on lies and betrayal. And when she confronted Philip, he did the unimaginable! She felt like she was experiencing a déjà vu. Doesn't fate want her to be happy?
After she had collected herself a bit, Ana took a shower and climbed into her bed. She had on a thin nightgown, so she pulled the thick covers over her body. Ana couldn't help, but to think of Philip, her fingers automatically ending up on her only scar. As she traced the line of the scar, a gut wrenching memory popped into her head, her whole body shivering. Her body was nice and smooth…except for that particular scar. And evil Philip was the one who had given it to her…
Ana didn't want to fall asleep, but the events of the day and evening had taken its toll. So before she knew it, Ana drifted off to dreamland…
((()))
It was 2:30 at night, when Christian came home from Xylia. He was beyond exhausted. As Christian walked passed Ana's room, a sharp pain gnawed at his heart. He had lied to her! He didn't want to, but he felt that it was for the best. He wanted to kick himself for lying in her face. Did she notice that he had lied?!
And just as he was about to walk into his own bedroom, he heard Ana cry. Without hesitation, he walked back and broke down her bedroom door. The light was out, but he could easily see in the dark, cause of his super senses. When he saw Ana, his heart ached. She was tossing and turning in her sleep, with her hands covering her body, pleading:" Philip, stop it! Stop hitting me… Please stop! I am begging you…"
Her eyes were closed; she was having a nightmare. And as her words sank in, Christian walked closer to her. He realized that this Philip guy had hurt her… As realization hit him hard, his other self, that inhuman/ animal side of him roared! That scum had hurt her! That scum had hit her! That scum will pay with his life! Christian couldn't help it and felt himself changing! He was turning into that inhuman thing!
He felt a sharp pain in his gums and felt the veins in his neck almost popping. He saw yellow!
All of a sudden Ana sat up, gasping loudly. As her eyes got used to the dark, she saw someone standing near her bed.
"Christian? Is that you? What are you doing here in my room?! What's the matter?" She asked worriedly.
Christian was being all quiet, making Ana very nervous.
"Christian? Are you okay?" she pleaded.
But he didn't budge, cause he was concentrating on staying in his human form. He felt his claws and fangs retract slowly, as he concentrated on things that would calm him down completely… Ana.
He didn't want her to see him in his other form. Christian slowly felt his control coming back and opened his eyes. As he did so, he saw that Ana was out of bed and was walking towards him, worry written all over her face.
"Christian, are you feeling alright?" she asked concerned.
At this point, her sweet scent had invaded his nostrils, making his head spin. As she stood in front of him, he realized that she was wearing a gown made of very thin material. By the faint light of the moon, he saw the curves of her gorgeous body…
The sight of her was driving his other self-crazy! Christian was still Christian, but not quite…
As Ana reached him, she gasped softly when her eyes landed on his." Christian? Why are your eyes glowing yellow?" she asked, her voice trembling heavily.
Christian heard the words that had left her lips, but her words didn't really get through to him. The only thought that consumed his mind was the fact that a man had physically abused her— his kind, sweet and precious Ana. He could not believe a man could have the heart to hurt her. What did she ever do to him that was so horrible that he had to hit her? No, he couldn't leave it like this! The man should be PUNISHED for his awful deed!
As the seconds passed, Ana felt a bit scared. So she walked towards the nightstand and pushed the ON button. Christian was still standing in his spot, but his eyes followed her every move. She then took a deep breath and closed the gap between them. Christian's eyes were now its natural color, making her furrow her brows. Had she been imagining that his eyes glowed yellow not so long ago?
Ana was just about to ask what he was doing in her bedroom, when he fired burning questions at her.
"Ana, who is Philip? And what did he do to you exactly? Why did he hurt you? Where is he now? Tell me, please?"
His voice was deeper than usual; both his hands were clenched into fists. Ana looked at the man before her and just knew that now was the right time to tell him about Philip…
While a tear rolled down her cheek, Ana grabbed Christian's hand and led him to the bed. He was all tense, his whole body shaking from anger. She took a seat and waited for him to sit down on the bed, but instead, Christian stood in front of her and scanned her body with his eyes.
"Where… where did he hurt you? Where on your body? Did he leave a permanent mark on your body?" he asked, his voice gruff.
By the way he was talking; Ana knew that he had trouble containing himself. She closed her eyes and at that moment felt so much love for this man.
So his eyes glowed? So what? It didn't matter.
"Ana… he is not going to get away with this. I am going to make sure that he pays for his sins. How dare he hurt you?!" he growled and took two steps away from her.
His body was trembling, his rage so strong and blinding that he had trouble breathing.
"Christian, please calm down. You are scaring me…" she pleaded, while trying to keep it together.
She then walked over to him and cupped his face." Please, sit. I will tell you everything."
Note: So... the answer to that mystery: we know who Xylia is.
And, Oh, boy! Ana will finally tell Christian about her past!
