"So, let me get this straight..." Began Frederick, small hands atop his knees whilst he sat cross legged on his friend's bed. "...You're a lesbian?"

"I- Well, yes, but- But-" Normalia put her head into her hands as she released a dissatisfied groan. She had been building up the courage to do this for months now, hell, even years, and this was the reaction she got? The blue haired girl shook her head, placing her hands on the shorter one's shoulders. "Frederick, I'm *Normal Bug*... That's the whole reason I even called you here, not so I could come out to you as a gay!"

Frederick, without even properly replying to his friend, began to laugh, brushing away his blonde locks from his eyes as he looked up towards the other. "Oh, that?! Come on, Normalia, like I didn't know already... I would say you're obvious, but I just have a very keen eye..." He spoke through his laughter, though gave his friend a reassuring smile all the same.

Being a beekeeper, and a person at one with nature in general, Frederick was very good at noticing small details and traits as they would often come into play when caring or handling any kind of animal. Though Normalia was a human, it was still no different.

"...Oh." Was all that escaped her lips.

...Was this good? Was it bad? Well, surely it just had to be Frederick, right? He was absolutely the smartest one of the friend group, at least outside of "Jenny" who, now that she thought about it, she really knew so little about. If Frederick knew this whole time, though, how come he didn't say anything? Was he really... Was he really THAT committed to keeping her secret?

Normalia took a small breath, scratching the back of her head. "Well... What about Charl? Surely he-"

"Nor, I didn't tell him a thing! I didn't tell anybody anything..." He paused, casting his gaze to the floor for a moment. "...And, besides... I doubt he would figure it out all by himself. You two can hardly even meet eye-to eye." So, perhaps puns weren't the brightest idea in a serious situation, especially when the subject matter happenedto be the one friend not present at the moment… but that stressed look on Normalia's face was one that he knew well and, at the same time, one that hurt him deeply. He wouldn't stand to watch her suffer.

"If it makes any difference… You're one amazing hero, even if we disagree at times."

Normalia slumped over slightly, letting out a half-hearted laugh. Some hero of London she was, giving away her secret identity like it were little cubed free-samples of cheese. She might as well have put up a bunch of posters around the town at this point, like it would've even mattered. 'Amazing hero' to Frederick might as well be human trash in her eyes.

"...I made a mistake, didn't I…?"

"Ugh… Christ…"

Frederick sighed, moving towards Normalia and pulling her into a short, warm hug. "No, no, don't be stupid, Nor… I would probably be dead without you! And there's no life normulous to bring me back." He hated seeing her in this state but, before now, there was no proper way for them to talk it out. At least now, with the secret being shared between the pair, they could be honest with one another. They can help one another. They can be better friends than ever before.

"...Thank you, Normalia. Thanks."

Finally, the girl looked up and looked at her friend with wet, puppy dog eyes. This time, though, she was smiling, even if emotional.

"...You're my best friend…"

The pair had taken a little time to talk things out properly and get their minds straight, taking a small break to head to their local corner shop and pick out an array of snacks to eat whilst they hung out together. Things were looking up now, and their future was appearing to be much brighter. Normalia had hope.

"Hey, Nor…" Frederick started, cocking his head to the side.

"Yeah?" She looked up.

"Does this make me your… Super-wingman? I'm sure Jenny Noir will love you."

"Oh, get lost, you!" They both roared with laughter.
