Hello everyone!
Before I begin this fanfic, which is written by my good friend LoudHarveyLefty, I would like to inform you that this story ties in to an earlier fanfic he made for the "Louds as Superheroes" trope, called "The L-Men". You can view that fanfic and its sequel on his DeviantArt page, but if popular support grows high enough (i.e. I get 10 reviews asking me to), I will port them over here.
Also in particular, this fanfic was intially drafted before Schooled! premiered, and so this fanfic is somewhat non-canon to that episode.
With that in mind, I hope you enjoy!
The first day of school. The day when summer vacation ends and the new school year begins for students from kindergarten to twelfth grade. The day when students dread another tedious year of schoolwork, projects, tests and exams, and homework, especially if you are a lazy, troublemaking pupil whose only purpose is to make life worse for both students and teachers alike. Just a few blocks away from Royal Woods Elementary School, the Loud twins and their boyfriends are walking to school together.
Lola sniffs the fresh air. "Ahh… smell that, guys? The first day of second grade!" she exclaimed in delight.
"All I smell is more boring lessons and homework," comments Lana, not really up for another year of school lessons as usual.
"Well, better than nothing I guess," Skippy admits.
"It's very important for us to receive an education if we want to succeed in life," Winston states, "so you two should be grateful, especially since not every child has an opportunity to receive an education."
"Yes, master!" Lola agrees, her pupils turning to that of a cat.
Lana whispers to Skippy's ear, "Is it just me, or is Lola acting weird towards Winston."
"Eh, I've seen weirder," replies Skippy.
After about another five minutes of walking, the kids finally reach the school.
"Alright! We made it!" the pageant queen cheers.
Lana searches in her overall pockets to make sure she has her lunchbox only to realize it is missing. "Ah shoot! I forgot my lunchbox!"
"Don't sweat! I'll get it!" Skippy starts stretching his arm, reminding everyone he still has his superpower from the L-Men adventures. His arm stretches all the way to the kitchen of the Loud home where the tomboy's lunchbox is laying still on the table. He grabs it and then stretches his arm back to him with it in hand. "Here you go." He hands the lunchbox to its rightful owner.
"Gee. Thanks, Skip!" says Lana.
"Come on. Let's get to our new class," Skippy commands the group.
Later in their new class, the children are socializing as usual as they wait for their new teacher to arrive.
"Oooh I can't wait for the new teacher to arrive!" Lola exclaims in excitement.
All of a sudden, the new teacher arrives, and the students soon grow silent. The teacher is female with a pretty appearance, and she comes from a huge ancestral family of teachers.
As she faced the students, she finally spoke, "Good morning, students. Welcome to second grade 101. I am Mrs. Wright, your teacher." Her voice is pretty soft.
"Good morning, Mrs. Wright," the students greet their new teacher.
"How was your summer vacation?"
"It was alright," Sky, the new classmate, responds.
"It was awesome!" Lucas exclaims in unison.
"It was pretty good," Chinah replies.
The other students reply with similar answers.
"Good." Mrs. Wright smiles. "Now today we will do a special assignment."
The students all listen intently to their new teacher as she is about to explain her special assignment to them.
"We will write down what we all did during summer vacation in comic form!"
This caught Lucas' interest. "Wait. We're making comic books about our summer vacation?!"
"I bet Lincoln would love doing this!" Lana comments.
"Looks like I'm going to put my magnificent artistic skills to use," said Winston.
"I didn't know you like art." Lola was a bit surprised.
"I took art classes during the summer, although the art teacher looked kinda familiar."
Mrs. Wright suddenly looks at Winston and says, "It's nice to see you again, Winston."
"You remember me?!" Winston is shocked.
Mrs. Wright nods her head.
"She was your art teacher?!" Lola asked in unison.
"Yep. She was." Winston shows his princess a picture of him as a baby and Mrs. Wright standing next to him teaching him how to finger paint.
"Awwwwwwwwww…" Lola is awed by the cute picture.
"Now we shall get started!" Mrs. Wright announces.
The students, except Lana, start drawing. Lana is searching for a pencil only to find none. "Ah shoot! I forgot a pencil!"
"Don't worry! I got it!" As Mrs. Wright is not looking, Skippy stretches his left arm towards a pencil case and grabs a Number Two pencil before stretching it back; however, on the way his arm accidentally gets stepped on. "OWWWWW!" He yells in pain as he quickly stretches his arm back.
"Are you alright?!" Lana asked in utter concern.
"Yeah." Skippy rubs his arm, still feeling a bit of pain. "I'm fine."
Jackie, who unintentionally stepped on his arm, immediately runs up to him and frantically apologizes, "Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to step on your arm!"
"That's okay."
"Also," Jackie realizes, "why was your arm on the floor when I walked by?"
"Uh…." Skippy starts sweating profusely, fearing Jackie had found out his secret superpower.
"He was picking up the pencil I dropped!" Lana lied, putting on a fake smile.
"Okay…" Jackie then walks away.
"Phew!" Lana and Skippy slouch on their seats in relief.
"That was a close one!" comments Lana.
"Yeah, but still… it kinda hurts," said Skippy.
