"I suppose you may be wondering why I called you all here," Lana told the people she invited to a meeting at her and Lola's bedroom regarding Skippy's decision to have his superpower removed. The people attending her meeting are Lola, Winston, Lisa, Darcy, Roxanne, Alfred, Lucas, Marcus, Mike, Gus, Jane, Carl, Isabelle, and Sky.

"You know how to read minds?" Darcy guessed.

"No," replied Lana. "We're here because Skippy thinks he should give up his powers."

"WHAT?!" The kids, except Sky who is confused, are in shock.

"Yeah. I know." Lana definitely knows how her friends feel.

"Why?!" questions Lucas.

"Yeah! His powers are awesome!" Marcus compliments.

"Remember back in camp where Skippy used his powers to fight a bear and get us back to our campsite?" Mike recalls.

"Now that was awesome!" Gus comments.

"I have no idea what you guys are talking about," said Sky who is utterly bewildered. "Then again I'm new here, so this is all news to me."

"But what are we gonna do?" Winston asks Lana.

"Simple! We'll be the stretchy kids!"

"How?" Roxanne questioned.

"Easy!" The tomboy turns her attention towards her twin sister. "Lola, remember when you got a vile of stretchy powers during our second L-Men adventure not long ago?"

"Uh, yeah?"

"We can use that and Lisa's cloning machine to give us all balloon powers like Skippy! How does that sound?!"

Nobody responds or does anything. They all remain still and silent.

"C'mon, guys! At least answer!" Lana demands.

"Uh… Lana," Lola spoke.

"What?"

"I don't think this is a good idea."

"Why not?"

"Have you forgotten? Skippy suffered during the first two days of school because of his powers!" the beauty queen explained.

"Ah come on, Lols!" The mud lover objects. "When you lost your balloon at Dairyland, who saved it from flying into space?"

"Skippy did?"

"Right!"

"Lana," Lisa utters for the first time, "I have a question for you."

"Yes?" Lana is intrigued.

"Do you know what importance is?" the child prodigy asked.

"I'm trying to make a point here!" Lana ignores her question. "Lisa, when you accidentally dropped the beaker which contained the international plant killer, who grabbed it before it could kill all plant life on Earth?"

"Skippy did, but-"

"Bingo!"

"WILL YOU LISTEN TO WHAT I HAVE TO SAY?!" Lisa finally snaps.

Lana is unfazed by her sudden rage. "If it interferes with what I want to say, no. But if you insist, you may proceed."

"Do you seriously think Skippy's powers are more important than Skippy himself?!" Lisa asked very intently.

"I… I… I…" Lana finally gives in. "*sigh* I just want him to not feel ashamed."

"Of his power?"

"Yes! His power!" Lana suddenly regains confidence, reminded of how effective Skippy's powers were in helping friends and others. "C'mon, guys! Skippy's powers have helped us with every problem we've encountered. He even once saved the planet from plant extinction! We would not even be here right now if it weren't for Skip's extraordinary elastic arms! He's helped us before; now we gotta help him! Who's with me!"

Without hesitation, the children, except Sky, all raise their hands and yell, "I am!"

"While I've just met Skippy and recently discovered that he has a superpower, I'm willing to help him overcome his predicament," vowed Sky, "so count me in!" It is very rare for Sky to be this confident since they is usually shy.

"Now that's what I like to hear!" Lana exclaims.
