"Mr. Han, here are the documents for this years accounts." Jaehee handed the stack of papers to her boss/friend. She couldn't figure out what exactly he does to predict the products they need to let go or get the next year for. He was very accurate and successful.

Jumin was truly amazing at his work.

But he wasn't taking any breaks.

She knew that even though he always looks compose, she's worried that he's been overworking himself.

It wasn't this bad before.

V and Rika kept pulling the guy out from work. Even the chairman was a nice break for him. But now..

After the last fiasco that the chairman did, she knew they were not on speaking terms.

Jumin's bestfriend V was nowhere to be found when this was happening.

And that V hide the fact that Rika was alive all along.

Jaehee knew that even though Jumin looks and acts like a robot and has no apparent feelings, he was the one greatly affected by this.

He was close with the two.

And in turn, she was the least affected.

After all, she was never friends with any of the RFA members before she was technically forced to join the group. Not that she regretted joining per se.

It was actually quite sad that she wasn't able to be closer before to anyone. She always felt as the odd one out since she never had any meaningful talk with the founders of the group. She wanted to say that she is friends now with the current members but of course, she wasn't sure if they feel the same.

After all, they only talk on the phone and the party.

But she think she was the one closest to Jumin these days.

That is of course because Jumin was throwing himself at work.

Instead of 12 hours a day with no day offs, he was frankly living in the office. His penthouse was in the top floor to begin with so it wasn't far from the truth but..

Jaehee knew that the guy only went there for two hours and came back to the office to begin another day at work.

Even the overworked girl was getting worried.

"Alright, I'll be having a lunch meeting with the accounting department head. I already booked it days ago." Jumin said firmly.

These things had been happening too much these days that she wasn't that surprised but it was getting on her nerves.

She kept trying to free Jumin's schedule for breaks but he kept on pulling his own tricks to put things on the breaks she scheduled for him.

A week before, he always tell her on advance and she kept postponing them and he noticed.

Now, she was getting informed on the day.

It actually scared her that he didn't even reprimand her on her meddling his schedule.

She doesn't even know if he knew exactly why she was doing it.

"Mr. Han, you are not getting the break you need. Stop scheduling work at your breaks" she sighed irritated.

She was getting annoyed. Why was he being so difficult?

"There's nothing wrong with it. As I said, it was a lunch meeting so we are eating. There wasn't anything else scheduled, was there?" Jumin pinched his nose. It was a sign of exhaustion and both of them knew it.

"You were using your breaks to see Elizabeth the 3rd before. What changed now?" She looked at him questioningly.

She was sure that the two hours in the penthouse was not used to see the cat. Jumin got cat sitters to care for the cat and she was being informed by all of what was happening.

It wasn't even her prying about his boss life. Jumin ordered them to give her updates and told her to tell him if there were any problems regarding the cat.

Just what exactly happened?

"You have updates on Elizabeth the 3rd. I need to go now. Have your own lunch, Assistant Kang" he said coldly. Jaehee sighed.

If this goes on, she would need help from the RFA members.

This doesn't look healthy at all.

She started walking out when she heard a thud. She looked back and saw the man on the floor.

"Mr. Han!" she hurried and help the man to the couch.

He made a sound annoyance and sighed.

"I'm afraid I'm not fit to have a meeting today. Please contact the accounting department" he ordered closing his eyes.

"Of course." she already got her phone out and called the department.

She was about to call Jumin's personal doctor when Jumin looked at her with something she hasn't seen on her boss.

"Is there something wrong?" she paused.

"Is it possible." the man paused unsure.

She doesn't understand. Moments passed and he wasn't talking so she gestured to her phone.

"I'll call your doctor to-"

"No need" Jumin dismissed her. "I already talked to him and got a lot of scolding."

"But Mr. Han"

"Jaehee" he looked at her again with unsure eyes. She gulped.

He looked vulnerable and it's the first time she saw him like this.

"Can we go out?"
