Everyone left a few minutes after Jumin left.

MC and Jaehee went to a pub while Yoosung and Zen went to Zen's apartment to talk.

Saeyoung and Saeran went home without saying goodbye.

"I can't believe that guy!" MC gulped her third cup. She was angry.

"I understand" Jaehee was tired of everything and didn't know if they should be drinking.

But she doesn't think she can sleep after all.

"What he did for Saeyoung is understandable but what was he thinking about Zen and V!?" It was the first time Jaehee saw MC this furious.

She thought that since MC liked Seven, she would be pissed off for Seven more.

But she guessed what Jumin did with the prime minister was for the best interest of the twins.

Jaehee sighed. She still can't think of what kind of deal Jumin did with that guy.

"I don't understand what he's thinking at all. Why did he do this simultaneously? Why go through each at the same time?"

Jaehee was confused as well. If Jumin was going to do this, it would be best to keep it between the people involved.

"He did tell me about what was going on but I didn't know he was going to force anyone. I didn't know about Zen's parents, too." she admitted.

She stupidly thought that the most pressing matters would be Seven's issue.

But she was wrong.

MC sighed.

"I knew about Saeyoung's father but I never thought that Jumin will make a deal with that guy." she was tipsy but not drunk enough to spill the name.

"He was dangerous. Even V can't touched him. What was the deal they made?" she cried silently.

She was concerned and pissed off at their cat lover friend but the more she think of the deal, the more confused she gets.

"I'm sure Mr. Han will not let himself in a dangerous position" Jaehee said but in her mind, she wasn't so sure.

"We just need to trust that everything will be fine" she hope so.

Maybe they should wait until everything was clear.

"Why did he said that you lied to him?" MC sniffed.

Jaehee didn't registered that message at all and just now remembering the look of Jumin as he said that.

"I said I'll be with his side when everything is said and done." Jaehee groaned slipping in her chair.

"Ouch" MC said and raised her glass.

"Well, you didn't know all the details. He should've told you by then" MC whispered sadly.

"He asked me to keep everyone intact"

MC frowned. "So he knew what was going to happen."

Jaehee nodded. She knew that he was trying his best to distract himself from the inevitable.

She didn't really get it until now that what he was about to do is more than what he said he would.

"I just thought he was overthinking and everyone would understand. But he was going to drop a lot of bombs today."

MC was thinking sadly. "I can't go to him, you know. I wasn't there for him."

Jaehee nodded.

Everyone was having their own problems. It was the most stressful two weeks of their lives.

But in the end, they strive through.

MC was able to get information about Jumin's fiancé. Seven was able to get his brother back. Jaehee and Yoosung helped on gathering everything about echo girl and really.

The last party was also disastrous to be honest.

"While we did help each other. I wasn't physically there. I'm sure that Jumin appreciated your presence with him." MC said. They loved everyone but they weren't able to go and see each other face to face.

"I wasn't with him though. I was with him as an assistant but I was helping Zen at his house with Yoosung after work." Jaehee whispered.

She wasn't there for him, too.

Actually, she thought he would have agreed with his dad since she thought the man would obey his father and just think of it as a good deal.

If MC didn't help him, maybe he would be tied up with a gold digger.

MC looked at her in surprise.

"You were with Zen?"

Jaehee nodded. She was after all a fan before an assistant. But now she thought, maybe she should've check with the guy at least.

"He was alone then." MC sniffled.

Jaehee turned her head to look at the girl.

"And he was alone again."

Jumin will pay.

Zen was pissed at the guy. His parents are here in his apartment.

Commenting on everything he has.

What the hell are they doing here?

After the party, Zen took Yoosung home and drank a lot. There were crying and shouting that night.

His neighbors even complained to them.

A few days after, his parent invited themselves inside his apartment.

He didn't know how they knew where he live and they said that Mr. Han graciously told them.

He told them to quit it and threw them out of his house.

Angrily, he logged in to the messenger and tried to dial Jumin's phone but then he noticed no one else was logged in.

He navigated to the app and looked if there was any chats or calls but nothing.

Not even MC was logged in.

He sighed and threw his phone at his bed.

He wished everything will go back to normal.

Saeyoung was speechless for the whole night. After going home, he was only looking at his screen absent-mindedly.

Saeran was also in his room.

He didn't talk much but it wasn't new.

Saeyoung didn't know what to think. He wanted V and Rika to pay but he did made amends to the fact that he can't touch them.

Not with their friends around.

Not with Jumim around.

But then Jumin went and get the two of them out of their lives for the better.

Maybe he shouldn't have punched the guy.

He was going to logged in to the messenger when he heard his door opening.

"Saeyoung.." Saeran said fidgeting.

He looked at his brother and smiled.

"What is it, little bro? Can't sleep?" He asked softly.

At least his brother's safe.

"Did that mean we're free?"

Saeyoung blinked.

And blinked.

They are.

They really are.

Saeyoung smiled at his brother with tears in his eyes.

"Yes"

This is for your own good.

V wasn't sick.

Rika was.

Not him.

This is just a bad bad joke.

They were lead to an airplane and was escorted to a facility.

It wasn't fair.

He wasn't sick.

He shouldn't be here.
