It has been two days when the group discovered that Jumin was in America dealing with some unknown business.
That was all they knew about his current situation.
Jay has been discreet. Talking vaguely about Jumin's situation even if the only ones in the room was him and the chairman.
Saeyoung sighed.
He was able to hack the guy's and the chairman's phone but he didn't see any new information about Jumin.
They only say that the situation isn't favorable and that Jumin wouldn't likely be back before his deadline.
Saeyoung didn't even know when's the deadline.
He leaned back in his chair. He ought to admire their level of security and responsibility but this is not the time.
They talk on the phone about their business as usual but if it was about their friend, they were as clear as mud.
It was as if they were expecting someone was listening in on them. It wasn't far from the truth since he was but Saeyoung didn't gave them an idea that he was listening at all. His hacking was spotless.
They must be expecting someone else.
Saeyoung pulled a face. It wasn't the first time he had this kind of job but it was the first time it was for someone else. It wasn't his life on the line here.
So far, they aren't giving him a sense that Jumin was in grave danger but their uneasiness is unnerving.
Most of this cases, Saeyoung knew that the only thing he can do for now is wait.
He wanted to think that Jumin also wanted all of them to just wait.
Seven told them that they weren't getting anywhere and they can only wait.
Zen wasn't pleased about that.
The jerk just went and left.
The last time they talked was at the party and it was a disaster.
Zen scowled. Jumin better stop worrying all of them.
Why is he even having a deal?
Why is everyone who knew where he was being so secretive?
It didn't make any sense if it was just a normal deal they could have speak normally. Seven told them so.
But they weren't. They were being suspicious.
Zen scratched his head in frustration.
He can't even do anything.
He tried to help but Seven kicked him out of his house because he was being annoying.
Seven said he can't work with Zen pacing back and front, giving him a desperate look every now and then and getting angry when Zen asked for an update.
Seven even gave him an exasperated sighed saying hackers are not mind readers or magicians. If the people involved left no trace of evidence, he couldn't crack anything. Because there wasn't anything to crack.
Zen was told to wait and Seven will call all of them when there's any changes.
Zen should go and apologize for irritating not only Seven, but his brother as well. He knew Saeran was getting annoyed by his sudden outburst every ten minutes. Zen should be grateful that the guy was giving them a helping hand.
Zen paused.
Why was he getting agitated like this? He closed his eyes and took a deep breathe.
Of course it was because one of their friends was being a massive jerk and went out without even informing anyone of them.
Zen would even like it if he told V what he was planning from the start.
He shot up straight from his couch and snatched his keys from the table. He can't just wait here.
He will have to ask the man who knew something.
Grabbing his helmet, he ran to his bike.
The young master has a lot of friends. Jay smiled.
He noticed how Jumin's assistant has been persistent on knowing her boss' location. He's supposed he was surprised by her obvious concern for the director.
She was truly one of a kind. Most of Jumin's assistant would be overjoyed when the guy goes on another business and though it was also surprising that Jumin made an exception of consecutive number of vacation leave without reason for this assistant, she wasn't grateful at all.
It was bizarre. Nobody was close to the young master like this before except for V and Rika.
It was endearing that the woman kept insisting on asking him or the chairman about the man. Even before anything took a serious turn.
If it wasn't completely confidential, Jay would have told her the first few times she asked.
Jay guessed that even the chairman himself was amazed by her. The chairman never ordered her to mind her own business or shut up regarding Jumin. It was new to Jay.
It wasn't everyday that their precious young master has someone who sincerely worry about him. Jay mused.
Maybe Jaehee wasn't the only one. Jay smirked, looking at a white haired man in the screen.
The man just walked in and demanded to talk to you. Jay knew about this guy.
He was one of the members of his young masters group. He didn't hear much about the foundation and knew that they weren't that many but he didn't expect them to be close.
Not to his young master.
Jay pondered. Maybe he should test this guy.
Jay could understand Jaehee's relationship with Jumin. The two was working side by side for years and was with each other for almost a whole day everyday. They should've known each other well.
But this guy in front of him seemed like the opposite of his young master. They probably wouldn't even meet if they weren't on the same organization.
Jay can't believe the two of them can get along.
