"Heya, Mr. Chairman~" Saeyoung sung approaching the old man sitting comfortably.

The chairman blinked. He hasn't expected to see a red head in his office.

Assistant Kang told him that he have a meeting with one of his employees though.

"Ah.. Hello" the chairman said in bemusement.

"I'm Saeyoung, head of security. Pleasure to finally meet you" Saeyoung said, dropping a curtsey.

The chairman raised an eyebrow, thinking the man in front of him is interesting.

"Is there something wrong about.." the chairman paused.

The old man haven't been notified about any issues regarding security. Not if it wasn't in dire situation.

The chairman clear his throat.

"Is something wrong?" the old man's tone turned serious. Saeyoung made a move to go closer to the man.

"I wanted to talk about your son, Mr. Chairman" Saeyoung's demeanor changed. A dark aura emitting around him.

The chairman rested his head on his right hand, gesturing for the red head to go on.

"Why is it that you haven't barged in where he is and forced him to go home?" Saeyoung asked firmly. He pressed his lips into a tight line.

Saeyoung sighed exasperated. He paced away from the desk where the chairman was seated.

Running a hand on his red hair, Saeyoung gave the chairman a side glare. "You even threatened to disown him."

The old man waved a hand in dismiss. "And where would you get this information?" he answered cocky.

"I have my ways" Saeyoung said in defense putting his arms around his waist.

"And?" Saeyoung paces closer.

The chairman wasn't even a little bit unnerved.

"You must be Luciel, then", the chairman said casually looking at his nails.

Saeyoung flinched back. "What?" he stuttered.

The old man knew about him.

"I see that he was able to finally recruit you. He was waiting a very long time, you know" the chairman glanced at the clearly rattled guy in front of him.

"How did-"

"I am Jumin's father. He is my son. You have no right to try and lecture me about my parenting, young man" the chairman stood up making his way to the kid.

"What are you really asking me, kid?" his eerie voice promising danger.

Saeyoung blinked in return. The old man was almost in his face, nothing but displeasure in his face.

Saeyoung raised his hands in a placating manner, giving the chairman a childish grin.

"I'm just testing you, geez" Saeyoung walked away.

"Jumin seems very close to you then" Saeyoung whistled. He stopped deeming that there current distance is enough.

"Why don't you get him then?"

The chairman gave him a blank look and then after a few moments, shook his head.

"It's the first time my son asked me to trust him."

Saeyoung rubbed his chin in thought.

"That all?" Saeyoung chuckled.

Fortunately, the old man didn't seem offended and gave him a nod.

"Okay, then" Saeyoung pressed his hands together. A cheery smile in his face.

Jumin thought that, by now, he would be receiving the files that Saeyoung promised.

It's been two days since their talk and Jumin was getting worried.

He didn't know what would happen if the late prime minister caught them in the act.

Jumin shook his head.

Even if the guy did, Jumin would feign ignorance anyways.

Though the fact that he's not hearing anything from anyone is alarming.

Jumin didn't know how the red head would deliver the files.

Maybe through an encrypted email.

An encrypted text.

Jumin paused.

He smacked his head with his hand. How could he be so stupid.

The late prime minister hasn't given him access to any devices.

Jumin is literally surrounded by stacks of paper files.

His every report is written on a paper.

Of course, Saeyoung won't have the ability to send any files to him.

Everything was on paper. Why did Jumin even accepted Saeyoung's offer then?

Jumin groaned.

He stared at his hands for a whole while and sighed.

He guessed that's why he wasn't getting anything.

It isn't something to worry about in Saeyoung's end.

Jumin hoped that the guy didn't send it on his phone.

It isn't in his person and he figured someone might have hacked it already.

Spying...

Jumin nodded to himself.

Nothing changed anyways.

Saeyoung was skipping happily on his way to the exit of the C$R building. He couldn't believe it went so well with the chairman.

He was skeptical at first. Given his history with his parents. His own mother and father were indescribable.

But he was glad Jumin's father was a good man.

Saeyoung could see the resemblance.

He was halfway through the lobby when a voice called him.

"Saeyoung!" MC waved smilling.

Saeyoung gave her a grin and walked to her.

"Oh MC, what did fate do this time to let us meet on our Cat Mom's place?" Saeyoung purred, taking a seat on the couch across MC.

"I wanted to ask for Jaehee's help about the reunion party for Jumin."

Saeyoung gave her an unimpressed look.

"I know I know, he'll be back after three months but well", MC gave him a sheepish grin. Saeyoung chuckled.

There was an uncomfortable silence in the air as the two kept avoiding each other's eyes.

"It's been so long since we talked in person." MC pointed out quietly.

She didn't know what exactly to expect.

She didn't plan on meeting the red head here.

"Well, we are chatting enough in the app, right?" Saeyoung's voice was cold. MC can't understand.

She kept her distance to the guy in hopes of helping Saeyoung and Saeran.

She knew going between them would just be a problem. She thought Saeyoung would reach her if everything is going fine.

She can see that they are alright. She can see that Saeran and Saeyoung are now okay.

But Saeyoung hasn't called her.

Was it all a dream? MC thought.

Saeyoung stood up from the couch, brushing his knees.

"Great to see you're doing okay, MC. See you at the party" Saeyoung said, not meeting her eyes.

She managed to nod her head.
