Chapter 9: Normal Nightmares but Something is Different.
Disclaimer: I don't own Inuyasha!
"No, you're mine now! No need you shy!" The guy smiled at Kagome. She couldn't breathe, she felt like she was about to pass out. She heard ringing in her ears and she tried desperately to swallow the lump that was blocking her airway. She felt the tears streaming down her face. The ringing in her ears was so loud she almost missed the sound of growling before Kagome's captor was ripped away. Kagome immediately fell to the floor.
"Didn't you hear her wolf-shit!? She doesn't want your hands on her" Inuyasha growled.
"Ain't no one asked you, dog-turd. Now, move so I can get to my woman!" Kouga said trying to push his way passed Inuyasha.
"Kouga, are you fucking blind!? Look at what you did to her!" Inuyasha and Kouga looked at Kagome with her knees to her chest with her arms wrapped around her legs and her head on her knees. She was still hyperventilating and was begging for it to stop and for it to go away.
Sango, Ayame and Rin were around her speaking softly and trying to calm her down. Kagome had met Ayame and Rin when they all sat down for lunch. Ayame is a wolf demon with bright red curly hair that she wore up in pig tails with a flower stuck in her hair. She had the brightest green eyes Kagome had ever seen. Rin had brown hair that went to her shoulders, she wore it half up in a side pony tail. She had the biggest most innocent blue eyes and Kagome felt the need to protect the innocence in her eyes for hers was stolen from her.
"Just leave Kouga, now!" Inuyasha demanded walking back to Kagome. Kneeling next to her "Kagome? Are you okay?" Inuyasha whispered making Kagome flinch a little.
"Make them go away." Kagome cried.
"Who?" Inuyasha asked.
"The ghosts."
One of the teachers walked over to see if everything was okay. It took a couple more minutes for Kagome's heartrate to return to normal. "I want to go home." Kagome whispered.
"I'm her ride, I can take her home." Sango offered.
The teacher nodded as Sango helped Kagome up and supported her slight weight. When they made it to the car Sango helped her in the passenger seat then ran to jump in the driver seat and started the car. "Do you want to go get your kids?" Sango whispered so as not to startle her.
"No, not yet. I need a couple of hours to compose myself." Kagome answered.
"Do you want to talk about what happened?" Sango asked gently.
"The ghosts won't leave me alone." Kagome whispered.
"Ghosts?"
"Sango, please I'm not ready." Kagome whispered. "But will you stay with me? I don't want to be alone."
"Of course," Sango agreed.

"What the fuck was that!? Kikyo shrieked at Inuyasha. They were still in the lunch room.
"What are you talking about?" Inuyasha replied.
"Why did go to that bitches rescue!? And why the hell did you kneel down next to her!?" Kikyo screamed.
"Stop getting jealous, Kiks, it's not a good look." Inuyasha said.
"You know? You better start realizing who's side you're on, Inuyasha! I'm about tired of your shit!"
"Yeah, you and me both."
Kikyo hmphed and stomped away.
"Man, why do you keep her around?" Miroku asked.
"I honestly don't know anymore. But I think it's about time for a change." Inuyasha answered.

Later that night Kagome and her kids were found in their respective beds as well as the eight-year-old that she babysat during the night was tucked in the queen bed in the guest room.
'Kagome was getting attacked by a monster when at the corner of her eye she saw a monks staff flashing by. Every time the monster would come to attack the monks staff got closer and closer until the monster went away completely. "Don't worry Kagome." A familiar voice said.
Before Kagome could respond another monster jumped out of the shadows coming at her. Before the monster could get her, however, a huge boomerang came out of nowhere and wiped the monster away. "We're here to protect you!" A female voice said this time.
Kagome stood up trying to find the voices and who they belonged to when a third monster came at her catching her of guard. There has only ever been two monsters! The first represented her father, the second her mother, so who is the third one!? A flash of silver cut of her thoughts, every time the monster took a step towards her the flash of silver got closer and closer until the monster was gone. "Yeah! We won't let anything or anyone hurt you!" These voices sound so familiar, like she should know them but she just couldn't put her finger on who the belonged too.
Kagome's alarm clock sounded and she groaned really not wanting to go back to school but not wanting to stay at home by herself either. So she reluctantly got up and got ready for school-putting on and plain white t-shirt and a pair of pajama bottoms. She threw her hair in a messy bun and decided against putting make-up on, what was left of her bruises were gone so she didn't have to worry about that.
She looked in the mirror-she looked how she felt-like crap.
*Break*
Kagome was in her first period waiting for the teacher to start the lesson when Kouga started walking her way. She automatically started to go tense and nervous.
"Um, look Kagome-I'm sorry about yesterday." Kouga said.
"It's fine Kouga, just please leave me alone." Kagome answered, Kouga nodded and walked back to his desk.
The rest of the day passed by without anymore incidents and Kagome acted like nothing happened yesterday. Plastering a fake smile on her face that looked believable to any one that didn't really look or care to look but to Inuyasha, Sango and Miroku that could see the misery in those depths. They were all in their last class of the day-gym. Kagome looked around and saw Inuyasha, Sango, Miroku and Kikyo. They were all walking their was over to Kagome-Kikyo with a pissed off expression on her face that she was being drug over to talk with her.
"Hey, Kagome!" Inuyasha called-he still thought she looked gorgeous dressed like a bum. Kagome looked at him and smiled. "Do you want to go to a pool party Friday night?" Kagome's smile immediately left.
"Um, sorry. I can't go." Not only is she babysitting, but there was no way she would be able to cover her scars up with a bikini or even a one piece. No, she definitely could not go.
"And why the hell not!"
Please review. Until next time, bye!
