OMG! Now I'm so excited, this story is so unique I'm dying to know how "Cristian" will meet again with Blaine and how Kurt will react, I hope to read you soon.

Response: Well you would have to wait for the next chapter for them to meet, I couldn't resist making this tension stretch another chapter :)

Oh wow, you are such a wonderful story teller. I am loving this so much. You go Kurt and Blaine had better watch out. Thank you.

Response:

thank you so much! I appreciate the compliment!

Note to readers:

" before you all kill me, please note that there were many directions I wanted to go with this but I think this is the best way. I rewrote this chapter many times with Kurt and Blaine breaking up and reuniting but it did not fit my original ending so this one has changed.

Chapter 7

Kurt had refused to eat with or see Blaine for the next day and before he knew it, his and Kurt's engagement was today and he wished he could push it forward.

Blaine sighed as he looked out the open window. Marriage announcement, to the public. He was getting engaged to someone who seemed to harbor anger over his past relationship. "Christian is dead" Blaine whispered. "So why does it even matter?" Blaine asked himself as he looked out the window at the blue sky.

What irritated Blaine the most was Kurt was acting like Blaine was a cheating husband. Kurt knew very well that Blaine was in love with his dead lover, Blaine never once tried to hide it. So why was Kurt so mad?

Besides, he only had his memories with Christian. Christian was someone he spent so much of his life with and Kurt expected he would forget him in a month? Ridiculous.

"You know, Christian. Sometimes I hate you so much for leaving me." Blaine said as his eyes fell from the sky to a maid meeting a gardener. It seemed like he was stumbling unto a secret relationship. He wondered what life would have been like had he eloped with Christian.

Blaine's eyes moved to the door when he heard it open without a knock. Blaine's anger flared and presence leaked out, he would kill whoever dared- Blaine turned to stare at the brunette that stood by the door. He sighed, it was Kurt. "I could have been pleasing myself, you know"

Kurt moved to take a sit without saying a word, he completely ignored Blaine his cheeks turning a suttle pink colour. Blaine towards the bed and stood there. He stared at Kurt blankly for a moment trying to find the right thing to say.

Blaine stared at Kurt, he was not sure what Kurt wanted to say now. "I was a little unreasonable" Kurt said.

"Would you like some tea?" Blaine inquired. His eyes watching Kurt as he moved to the sitting area in Blaine's room. Blaine had replaced the plain sitting area with a dining table and a few chairs. He had been determined to get Kurt to eat but now he wondered why he cared so much.

"I did not come here for tea" Kurt responded. Blaine decided to wear his fake smile. Blaine could see it clearly, Kurt would only hurt him if he let him close. He needed to keep Kurt at a distance.

"I see, so why did you come?" Blaine asked, not bothering to move closer to Kurt.

"I am sorry" Kurt sighed. Blaine said nothing for a moment, his smile disappeared. Kurt could not ignore the cold look in Blaine's eyes.

"Well no harm done, you may leave." Blaine said after a moment, his smile back in place.

"Blaine!" Kurt said.

"Kurt." Blaine responded.

"Please, just be honest with me" Kurt responded, this made Blaine sigh. He moved towards the dining table and took a seat across from Kurt. Once comfortable he broke the silence.

"Don't you think this is a mistake?" Blaine asked as he held Kurt's gaze.

"What is a mistake?" Kurt seemed to shrink under Blaine's glare.

"Your feelings." Blaine responded coldly. Kurt flinched and averted his eyes.

"Feelings?"Kurt replied.

"You are falling for me!" Blaine responded. "I love Christian, he may be dead but I will always love him and it seems to be clouding your judgement"

"I am not falling for you." Kurt snapped.

"Then what is this jealousy?" Blaine asked. "Over a dead person, no less."

"We are going to be stuck together for a long time, are we not?" Kurt asked a rhetorical question. Blaine stayed silent when Kurt stood from his chair and moved behind him. Hands on Blaine's shoulders, he began his massage. "Imagine if I made no attempt to love you and only kept thinking about an ex lover, how would you feel?"

"I made attempts-" Blaine began, melting into the relaxing massage, Kurt stopped abruptly.

"You are a dog with no master wondering aimlessly. I offer you my time as a substitute for your dead master Blaine" Blaine turned to look at Kurt. Kurt had chosen his actions well, him standing behind Blaine meant he and Blaine were no longer on eye level. Blaine had to look up at Kurt, who looked annoyed. "If I leave what would you have? If you are fine without me, I can walk out that door and find a way to disappear from this cursed palace-"

"No-!" Blaine said impulsively.

"Be quiet, I am speaking" Kurt responded. Had it been anyone else, Blaine would have them thrown out the window or would have killed them himself. Right now, Blaine felt weak and powerless. "Now, apologize to me for the rudeness you displayed before and do it on your knees"

Blaine frowned, on his knees?? What did he do that was so wrong?! He stared into the blue eyes before sighing and dropping to him knees. "I am sorry"

"Sorry for what?" Kurt inquired.

"Sorry for being rude" Blaine grumbled.

"I understand Christian is a part of you but I am here." Kurt said. Blaine looked down at Kurt's feet. Kurt used his hand to grab Blaine's chin. He leaned down so they could stare into each other's eyes.

"I still love him" Blaine said.

"Which is fine but don't push me out anymore. I want thoughts of me in your head too" Kurt responded. Kurt pressed a kiss to Blaine's lips. Blaine tried to kiss back but Kurt pulled away.

"Imagine calling a prince a dog, its inconceivable" Blaine grumbled. Blaine stayed kneeling when Kurt took his seat.

"Then you should not have kneeled before me like one." Kurt responded.

"Our Engagement is today, we should be preparing" Blaine commented but did not move from his spot.

"Do you feel I should allow you between my legs cause we will be engaged?" Kurt asked.

"I would hope so" Blaine replied. "It is customary to consummate one's engagement, is it not?"

"Do you feel with your behavior you deserve it?" Kurt asked. Blaine pouted, Kurt giggled. "You may crawl to the bathroom then prepare for the wedding". Blaine sighed but did not move, was Kurt serious right now?? He opted to change the subject.

"I have been wanting to ask you, what exactly are your powers?" Blaine asked. Changing the subject.

"I can make protective shields" Kurt replied. Blaine stared at Kurt for a moment.

"So you have one power?" Blaine asked.

"I also have the power to domesticate wild animals" Kurt responded. Blaine frowned. "and to know when said animals are lying to me"

"I am not-" Blaine began but was cut off.

"You are an animal, which is why you probably thought that if it was anyone else treating you like this you'd kill them" Kurt replied. His eyes mocking Blaine as he stared in amusement. "You even took the life of that guard so easily, did you even feel remorse?"

"No, I see no reason to feel remorse" Blaine admitted as he grit his teeth.

"You valued my life over your fellow Dom" Kurt responded as he reached out a hand to touch Blaine's hair. "Pray tell, what do you even put in this to make it look so unfavorable" Kurt asked.

"I think it looks very good" Blaine replied. Moving into Kurt's touch.

"You like it when I touch you?" Kurt asked hand moving down to Blaine's cheek. "Your purpose right now is to go to fight those monsters"

"It is why I live" Blaine nodded as he leaned into the touch. He closed his eyes and looked content.

"Let me give you another reason to live apart from war. Are you not tired?"Kurt asked.

"I need to get revenge" Blaine admitted's eyes opened instantly and pushed Kurt's hand away "I do not need you to save me"

"We have won the major war, fighting the aliens is just destroying their nests around the country" Kurt replied. "What do you plan to do after that?"

"I wish to die" Blaine responded instantly without a thought only after he had said it did he realize who he had said it to. "I would make sure you had your father's-"

"I don't give you the permission to die you idiot!" Blaine looked up at Kurt who had tears running down his face.

"Kurt-" Blaine stretched out his hand to touch Kurt's face but Kurt slapped it away.

"You wish to die? What makes you think you have the permission to die? You would die and leave me here to suffer in this cursed palace" Kurt asked.

"No, I wouldn't do that" Blaine hated seeing Kurt cry and he hated the most that Kurt was crying because of him. "You wouldn't understand-"

"We all have hard lives, my dad disappeared years ago, my mother is dead and the only place I can see visions of him is being given to someone I hate. At least you have the power to save yourself, what can I do?" Kurt yelled angrily. "Do I then kill myself too?" Kurt whispered as if deep in thought.

"Kurt!" Blaine was standing, he had his arms wrapped around Kurt. "I am sorry, I did not mean that. We will definitely fix this messed up country, neither of us will die." Blaine really wanted to believe his own words but, he truly wanted to die because then maybe this emptiness would go away.

"I need you to believe in me Blaine, I am far from perfect and ultimately I'd use you to achieve my purpose but I will always be on your side" Kurt said as he looked into Blaine's eyes.

"thank you" Blaine said cause he had no idea what else to say. Kurt wanted to save him but he wasn't sure he could be save anymore. If only he met Kurt earlier.

xxxxx

Kurt hated this, his engagement was here. Engagements were usually the period where Doms tested the Subs fertility. The sub must become pregnant within six month or the sub would be said to be infertile and tossed aside. If the Sub was pregnant, a marriage date would be set.

Kurt tried to wear a fake smile like Blaine. It seemed like he had smiled and greeted over 59 people already and he they still hadn't taken their seat.

Blaine was a natural, he seemed almost robotic in his actions, soon his brother was coming to congratulate them. "Ah, Kurt. Are you not glad I brought you here, who would have thought that the prince would take a liking to you?"

Kurt grit his teeth, he said nothing but Blaine responded. "Thank you, we have never been happier" He tried but move away but Stanley seemed to follow.

"You have grown into a fine gentlemen, Your highness the Prince. A man with a developed taste, we all feared you would take a prostitute as a wife but I see you picked the best." Stanley said. Kurt could feel Blaine's anger.

"And who are you to speak to me in such a manner?" Blaine's eyes narrowed. Kurt promptly squeezed Blaine's hand that he held unto and it quickly disappeared. "A mere man with no nobility"

"We mustn't take too much time here. We have to greet other members" Kurt interrupted.

"And here I was wondering if you would like to buy a certain slave from me" Stanley said. Kurt froze, he knew this bastard meant Tina. "If not, I may just sell her to the brothel"

"I am not married yet, so you can not make that sort of decision yet" Kurt glared at him.

"Two hundred and fifty gold pieces and she will be yours" Stanley ignored Kurt's words.

"You must be insane! Even a maiden is not more than one hundred and fifty" Kurt snapped. Even with what Kurt had hidden away, he had only ten gold pieces. There was no way he would ever be able to afford to buy Tina.

"I see the prince by your side has made you more con-" Stanley began but was cut off, his arm reaching out to touch Kurt but Blaine slapped it away.

"I rather you not disrespect my darling, I have killed two men already and I do not wish to make it three" Blaine cut in before pulling out a handkerchief to wipe his hands as if touching Stanley was filthy. "You must forgive me, touching those without nobility is quite disgusting. Nonetheless, If my wife desires the maid, I shall pay. However, when I do become king. I wish to acquire the Hummel land, It shall be my tea house. According to the law I may require one thing from each family."

"The crowned prince will become King." Stanley corrected as he grit his teeth. He glared at Blaine with intense anger and hatred.

"Yes, you may inquire from my father. I will be announced as the new crowned Prince" Blaine responded. He watched Stanley's face fall.

"That is impossible, you cannot even lead an army. How much more a whole country?" Stanley said, snapped. He froze under Blaine's glare, his anger had flared and he had made a grave mistake. Stanley cowered afraid he will be killed.

"How do you intend to pay for this rudeness?" Blaine's presence was leaking out. Stanley's face went white. "And who do you think you are to speak to me in such a manner? It seems you have forgotten who I am." Blaine asked. His anger rising.

"Blaine please" Kurt said softly. Blaine sighed when his eyes met Kurt's. His eyes went back to Stanley, giving the Dom a once over. Stanley was shocked, only Christian could ever calm Blaine when he was angry and now his brother had the power. Things were turning in his direction.

"Thank your stars; or this engagement hall would have been your coffin" Blaine stated before walking off with Kurt.

"Must you kill everyone who upsets you?" Kurt sighed. "and this behavior just after claiming you are not a wild animal"

Blaine smirked, "I guess I can try to be more merciful"

"By the stupid look on your face, I can tell you want me feel proud of your bad behavior" Kurt sighed.

"Most submissives compliment stronger Doms you know." Blaine grumbled.

"Would you rather date them instead of me then?" Kurt asked raising a brow.

"Come let's take our seat with the King" Blaine said quickly changing the topic. They moved to sit on the designated seats. The sat directly beside the Queen, a sit which usually belong to the Crowned prince. Now Blaine and Kurt were sitting there. There were whispers over the sound of the violins but no fuss was made.

The ceremony seemed to drag on but the world seemed to stop for Kurt when Blaine stood abruptly and called the name of his dead lover. The music stopped and everyone looked at the prince standing with an awed look on his face.

Blaine felt like he was drowning, he hated everything about today. The people, the music , the food- everything. He had only been seated for an hour beside the King and Queen when he saw his brother step in and by his side- "Christian" he yelled. It was like he was looking at a ghost. Blaine's eyes moved to Cooper who held a smirk on his face. What the hell was going on here? He felt an arm grab his, he turned to look at Kurt who looked confused. Blaine bit his lip hard but said nothing, he realized everyone was staring at him when he took his seat.

"Blaine-" Kurt began

"I am fine, its just my mind playing tricks on me" Blaine cut him off. Blaine refused to look into the crowd fearing he'd see horrible visions of his brother and dead lover again. He only looked up when his brother climbed the stairs with a red head on his arm. Blaine's heart skipped a beat. It was christian but Christian was dead, he watched him die. So how could this be?

"Hello there foolish little brother, I see you have your eye on my date. His name is Christina" Cooper spoke.

Blaine couldn't talk, he was both happy and distraught. The cold look as 'Christina' stared at him broke his heart but he knew this was Cooper's plan. He would want Blaine to make a fool of himself.

Blaine's anger flared, He wanted to kill Cooper. Blaine wanted to kill Cooper, he wanted to murder his brother before this crowd. Christian was dead and it was impossible that Cooper would know what Christian would look like if he had never met his dead lover. So how did he know? Christian had been searching for Blaine when he had been in camp to sell himself, how was he sure of anything now.

Blaine had no paintings of Christian so how could his brother know what Christian looked like. How could he even find Christian if Christian was indeed alive. Why would Christian be with his brother and hide his survival from Blaine?

Kurt's hand grabbed his, he turned to look at Kurt, unsure, angry and confused. Blaine bit his lip hard till it bled to calm himself. Blaine could not hear Kurt's voice but he knew what Kurt was saying 'its a trap'.

Blaine's eyes moved around the room and landed on Cooper's wide smirk. Cooper just wanted to make a fool of Blaine and he would have fallen for it if Kurt hadn't stopped him. The person could not be Christian, Blaine's hand reached out to the red head pushing the hair over his shoulders only for Cooper to push it away. Blaine had bitten Christian, the scared skin should have been on his neck but the pale neck proved it. It proved it further that truly his lovely was not on this earth and life seemed to bring this redhead to mock him.

Logically Christian was dead, this had to be some sort of imposter. However, to find someone who had such a close resemblance to his dead lover. To go to such lengths, didn't Cooper deserve to die?

He stayed seated, Cooper frowned after getting no reaction from Blaine. He took a seat and Blaine's mind replayed Christian's death over and over and it would be impossible for Christian to in fact be alive.

The only thing keeping him grounded was the warm feel of Kurts hand in his hand.

Blaine sat quietly until the event ended, he left with Kurt. The carriage ride home was meant to be silent. "Can you really tell if someone is lying?" Blaine asked breaking the silence half way through the trip.

"Yes, that is not Christian" Kurt responded. "You don't have to take my word for it. Ask him a question only Christian would know"

Blaine stared at Kurt blankly, Kurt watched Blaine cry and it broke his heart. It was sad, Blaine who often looked so unbreakable was so broken. Blaine still wanted to believe that was Christian, he truly wanted to see his ex lover again.

"Why is he doing this?" Blaine asked.

"Blaine you are going to be King, this has to be the first and last time you let someone get to you to this point. You mustn't show anyone else this weakness" Kurt responded. "However if someone does manage to upset you, you can rest assured. I will always be at your side and we shall overcome it together."

"You will leave me like everyone else once you get that property" Blaine said. Kurt rose a brow at Blaine.

"First you are scared I like you and now you are scared I will leave you" Kirt sighed irritated. "If all you do is whine and cry then yes, I will leave you without any regret. However, if you will be the man I presumed you to be then I will stay. Me leaving or staying is your decision." Kurt replied. "Do you not feel pathetic crying over your brother for mocking you?"

"Pathetic?!" Blaine replied enraged.

"Yes, pathetic. You may choose to kill me but your actions today, crying like a newly born babe. Have you no pride? Rather than cry why not come forth with a plan to get him back." Kurt snapped.

"Because I am alone. I have always been alone and will always be alone!" Blaine snapped.

"If you are alone, what am I doing here? If all you want is to play the victim and cry then we clearly are not a match" Kurt snapped. "Now stop crying and come rest your fat head on my lap"

Blaine blinked a few times before moving to the seat beside Kurt across from him. He rested his head on Kurt's lap, Kurt ran his fingers through Blaine's hair and it was at this point Blaine knew he would destroy the whole world if Kurt wanted him to do so. If he could not protect Christian he would protect Kurt.

He was not sure when he fell asleep but he woke up to Kurts voice. "Get off me" Kurt said. Kurt

"Jesus are you trying to kill me, the way you are shaking my head its almost as if you are trying to assassinate me" Blaine grumbled before sitting up to realize they had reached the palace.

"I think your imposter will be in your room today so I will be in mine." Kurt responded.

"I would rather have you at my side" Blaine admitted. Kurt stared at Blaine for a few minutes.

"Seems like a cheap trick to have me fill your bed tonight" Kurt responded. Blaine frowned before sighing. "I do not see why you would need me there"

"I think logically when you are there" Blaine responded.

"So I help you stay calm?" Kurt inquired. "I'll stay but I think we can both agree your behavior today was deplorable and- get that lewd look off your face as you stare at my thighs" Kurt snapped.

"You smell really nice and I had no idea laying there would be so comfortable" Blaine admitted.

Kurt's cheeks turned red. "Focus on what I am saying!"

"I am trying to." Blaine kept his eyes fixed on Kurt's thighs wondering how such thin thighs could be so comfortable.

"Blaine, I am being serious. We have to discuss the issue at hand" Kurt was getting upset.

"Its not the real christian what interest do I have in a fake?" Blaine sighed. Blaine was lying to Kurt but he could not help it part of him wanted that person to be Christian. Part of him hoped it was Christian and he was sure his brother him and this new addition would have a talk today. Christian was dead and if Kurt and his own eyes were being honest with him. This was an elaborate scam by his brother and he would fall despite knowing the truth.

"Stop over thinking it Blaine, talking is inevitable. I don't think that is christian but I understand that person resembles your ex lover. I get it and I would still understand if you would fall into Cooper's traps to be with your ex lover's double ganger" Kurt replied. "After all wasn't that why you cried -" Kurt began.

"No, I cried because I wondered why someone would disrespect Christian's memory" Blaine stated. "I do not want a cheap copy of Christian"
