Drift can hold Jamie and text Bulma; he feels how weak Jamie is as she leans on him.
Bulma and Crosshairs walk in as Drift struggles to calm Jamie down.
Bulma immediately prepares a syringe as Crosshairs helps Drift. The two mechs don't like how Bulma immediately resorts to drugs as they don't like Jamie crying.
"A small dose to calm her down," Bulma explains as she injects the drug. It's fast-acting, and Jamie stops crying.
"You're ok and safe," Crosshairs assures her as he wipes her eyes.
The two mechs and Bulma realize why Jamie was crying. This hurts Drift more than Bulma and Crosshairs.
"It's ok, you know how much we all love and care about you," Bulma says as she gets the blanket off the bed and covers both Jamie and Drift before leaving the room.
Drift knew Jamie would be asleep soon.
He puts her to bed before he and Crosshairs leave the room. They talk about the decision to tell Jayce and J.R. the good news.
"We can tell them, but I think it's best to wait a couple of days before letting them see Jamie," Drift advises.

They do tell Bumblebee and Hound, both happy this nightmare is almost over, but know how Jayce and J.R. could react to Jamie's current state. Both thinking even J.R. won't be able to handle seeing Jamie nonverbal, even if it's temporary, and J.R. is a little more stable mentally than Jayce. While Vegeta is still with Jayce and J.R. is asleep, Bulma talks to the Autobots. By now, Cade has joined them. What worries them is Bulma has a folder with Jamie's CT scan images.
"I thought you guys would want to see," she explains as she takes two images out, " this one is Jayce's," she says, showing the left image, "and this is Jamie's. You see, they're the same? Jamie has no brain damage."
There's something on Jamie's CT scan, but the others confidently assume it's the cyst that Jamie already has than Bulma lying.
"You think the girls can handle this?" Cade asks Crosshairs and Drift, "even if Jamie fully recovers in a month, I don't think they'll understand that she will until then."
"J.R. will," Crosshairs says, "it's Jayce we're uncertain about."
"We will need to plan for her to see Jamie carefully," Drift adds.
"Jamie's mental state is different this time. She hates how we watched her fight for her life. I hope this doesn't change the rest of her Recovery," Bulma worries.
"She always hates how she has to be taken care of, but you're right; she knew Jadin injected enough of the chemical to cause a severe flare-up...I fear she knows she died at least once," Vegeta explains, "and knowing her guardians watched her go through this, one being the mech she loves."
"Jayce and J.R. also haven't seen her go through a severe flare-up until now; she could be worried about how they have been," Cade adds.
"Continue as we always do, but we'll need to be prepared for meltdowns since Jamie can't talk," Vegeta advises, "are you going to be ok?" He asks, looking at Drift, but also worried Crosshairs will also have a hard time.
"I have to be; she needs me."

Bulma, Crosshairs, and Drift go back into the room to talk about the next stage in Jamie's care as she sleeps.
"I'm keeping the feeding tube in for now, but I can remove the catheter, and we can use diapers," Bulma explains as she gets one of the adult diapers she put in the cabinet.
"We should Drift," Crosshairs suggests, "better for her not to stay in bed. How long would you have kept the catheter in if we said no?"
"A few days; we do need to begin physical therapy, but now I'm not sure with Jamie's mental state. I'm hoping that she'll be easy to deal with you two with her like she usually is. The occupational and speech therapy can begin while she's in bed."
"You deal with the diapers," Crosshairs tells Drift, "I don't think she'll like I'll see her nude down there."
Crosshairs looks at the rest of the supplies Bulma brought in as Bulma teaches Drift how to put a diaper on and what to do to change the diaper.
"Well, you'll be set if you ever have kids," Bulma jokes though it might be the wrong time to say this; Drift gets the joke, "I'll let you guys decide when to take her out of the room. I'm waiting at least a day to attempt physical therapy."
She shows them the oxygen concentrator and wheelchair she brought into the room.
"It's easy to connect the tube to the concentrator and vice versa. You can put it in the basket in the back. I advise using the chest straps for now."
Bulma explains how being bedridden for two months worsens the muscles and needs to be strengthened. The inability to talk is also due to the long coma.

While Jamie is asleep, Bulma, Crosshairs, and Drift check to see if Jayce and J.R. are awake.
Cade is taking care of J.R., but they know he's waiting for them to tell J.R. the good news.
J.R. is happy Jamie is awake from the coma. She knows Jamie still feels tired and is likely asleep. It's Jayce's health she's more worried about and how it'll affect Jamie mentally if she finds out.
"You two are not seeing Jamie for a few days," Crosshairs explains.
"I don't care if I have to wait until she's fully recovered. It's Jayce I worry about," she tells them.
"I think we'll let her see Jamie through the viewing window when Jamie is awake. That might help her, or she needs to watch Jamie for a few days," Crosshairs explains.
J.R. asks to see Jayce. The two mechs take her to the medbay.

Vegeta is still with Jayce when they get there. Jayce is happy to see J.R., who sits on the bed next to her, unable to avoid crying as Jayce hugs her.
"I'll be ok," Jayce assures her.
"J.R., don't we have something to tell Jayce?" Drift asks, smiling, which does give it away, but Jayce knows what Drift is trying to do.
"What's he talking about, J.R.?" She asks.
"Jamie woke up," J.R. replies, wiping her eyes.
Jayce smiles, though she knows there's still a little way to go before Jamie is fully recovered.
"You need to get better yourself," Drift tells Jayce, "you need to eat more."
The four of them decide to let Drift spend the day with Jamie.
"She'll likely only be awake for a couple of hours at a time; I'll come here when she is asleep, but I need to talk to Bulma," Drift assures Jayce before leaving.

"It could be a couple of weeks or a month, but you know we can't be completely sure," Bulma tells Drift, "you know how to make her happy. I'm hoping it'll help her recover mentally."
"I know she hates we have to watch her deal with this damn illness, but I didn't think she'd be this upset."
"Because she loves you," Bulma smiles, "people are different when it's the one they love watching them go through shit, even if she was unconscious; she knows we've been watching her go through this."
Bulma goes over the therapy plan for Jamie before leaving the room. Drift sits by the bed.
"I know you worry I'll walk away, but I love you so much and will help you recover," Drift says as he holds Jamie's hand.
