Again?

"Remember when Beca thought it'd be a great idea to go to the cemetery at two in the morning?" Emily asked laughing at the memory.

"Yeah, it turned out just like every other time we went with one of her ideas, a disaster." Vanessa, Stacie's sister, said laughing along with Emily.

"Hey, they may have ended up kind of disastrous but at least we all had a blast." Beca said.

"Like the paintball incident?" Stacie asked.

Beca snapped her head towards Stacie "Never speak of that. We all made a deal to never speak of the paintball incident."

Everyone laughed "Ok baby, sure thing." Stacie said with a smile.

"Well at least one of her ideas didn't end up in a disaster." Vanessa said smiling at the two.

"Yeah, marrying your sister might be my brightest decision." Beca said.

Stacie smiled and kissed her wife "Saying yes was the easiest choice."

"So, your anniversary is right around the corner, any plans?" Emily asked.

Hearing this Beca froze, she thought deeply and hard about what she just heard. She looked down towards her phone and saw the date, September 12th.

"Shit." She thought to herself.

Beca and Stacie had gotten married on September 15th, she always hated that their anniversary was on such a random date. Stacie had always wanted a weeding during the fall and when they were planning the wedding, the venue they wanted only had one opening and it was on the 15th. It was such a random date but fell in the middle between both of the girls' birthdays. Stacie's birthday was August 10th while Beca's was October 13th. Not to mention Vanessa was in November with Emily in December, so Beca always seemed to forget their anniversary as bad as it sounds.

It wasn't like she did it on purpose, but can you really blame her with all the birthdays and holidays. Not to mention their busy schedules, Beca of course being the music producer with Vanessa being signed to her label. Stacie was an actress alongside Emily with whom she is currently co-staring with on their hit TV show. Beca knew she needed to come up with a plan and fast.

"Baby any plans?" Stacie asked.

"Uh you know, I got something planned." Beca said a bit awkwardly.

Stacie pinched her nose and took a deep breath "Did you seriously forget again? Rebecca!" Stacie exclaimed.

Beca groaned "No! I told you I have something planned."

Stacie raised her brow "Oh really? Then do tell what exactly you have planned." Stacie said, at this point after Beca had forgotten for the past five years she had no problem putting her on the spot. Besides it was only Emily and her sister in the room.

"If you must know, I made reservations at one of our favorite places to eat. But before that I was planning on us going on a hike since you love it so much where we can watch the sunset together. If that's not what you want, then I can come up with something else." Beca said.

"Awww no baby that's perfect. I love it." Stacie smiled.

"What trail are you going on?" Emily asked.

Beca sent a glare at Emily for putting her on the spot like this.

"Uhhh not sure what it's called. I have it written down; you know I don't really know much about that." Beca said quickly.

"Right of course. Understandable." Vanessa said giving Beca a look letting her know she wasn't buying any of this.

"What restaurant?" Vanessa asked with a smirk.

Now it was her turn to receive a glare "It's a Hispanic restaurant so I couldn't pronounce it even if I tried." Beca answered.

"Oh, but surely you have it written down somewhere, right?" Vanessa asked. She wasn't about to let this opportunity get away from her. After all the times Beca has put her on the spot over the last ten plus years she was about to have her fun.

Beca nodded and put on a fake smile "Of course I did. I'll go look up the name right now." Beca got up and gave Stacie one last kiss before walking to her room. She quickly pulled out her laptop and looked up Hispanic restaurants in the area. Beca looked at their numbers and started calling them trying to quickly set up a reservation. The first three she tried said they were booked, she tried one last restaurant named "Sabor del Castillo". They said they had an open spot for 7pm and she quickly took it. Once everything was confirmed she closed her laptop with a sigh of relief, she went to get up and walk out until she heard a voice.

"Nice try Rebecca." Stacie said from the door with a glare and her arms crossed.

Beca froze and looked like a deer in headlights "Uhh how long have you been there?"

"Long enough time hear you strike out on your first three attempts." Stacie answered.

"So, the whole time?" Beca asked quietly awaiting her impending doom.

Stacie kicked herself off the doorway popping her lips "Oh yeah." She said walking into the room and closing the door.

"Babe I can explain." Beca said quickly.

Stacie nodded "Oh please do, please explain to me how you've managed to once again forget our anniversary." Stacie said.

"Well, you know this time of year is hectic, we have our birthdays, Emily's, Nessa's, not to mention Nessa and I always release our albums around this time plus Emily and you always start filming the next season around this time. It's just tough to keep track with everything, you know I always struggle with these types of things." Beca said trying to defend herself.

Stacie shook her head "You know the first couple of years I understood that because we were all trying to get our foot in our professions. But now this is the sixth year Beca, SIX! I mean how many years till you remember? Our 10 years? 20 years?" Stacie asked.

"Well to be fair we'd all most likely be retired by then so it would make it easier to remember." Beca tried joking.

"See this your problem, you never take anything serious! It's almost a miracle you remembered to show up to the wedding at this point." Stacie said.

"Okay that's kind of low don't you think?" Beca asked a little taken back.

Stacie sighed and took a breath "I just feel like you don't care at this point. Like our marriage isn't important to you." Stacie said sadly.

"Stace, you know that isn't true. You know you're more important than anything. You know how important marrying you was to me." Beca said quickly. She tried to comfort Stacie, but she pulled back.

"Really? Then why can't you remember a single date? A date that signifies our love." Stacie said backing away.

"Babe I honestly have no other reason than what I told you." Beca said.

The two stayed quiet for a few before Beca spoke up "Babe I know I fucked up again but please believe me when I say that I do care about our anniversary. I do care about our marriage. I love you more than life itself and I'll always try to prove that. I'm sorry that I can't seem to remember our anniversary." Beca said as she sat down next to Stacie on their bed.

Stacie nodded "I know you do baby; I'm just upset that you forgot again."

Beca grabbed Stacie's hand "If it makes it any better, the part of the hike and sunset wasn't a total lie." Beca said.

Stacie looked at her "Really?"

Beca nodded "I thought that could be a fun experience and was thinking of actually doing that. I just don't know any trails, so you know." Beca answered.

"Well, I would love that." Stacie smiled.

"Plus, now we actually have reservations." Beca joked.

Stacie chuckled "You're lucky I love you Mitchell."

"I'll forever be grateful that you do." Beca smirked.

The next day Beca called up Emily and Vanessa while Stacie had to meet up with her agent.

"What have you summoned us for?" Vanessa asked as Beca pulled up to her house.

"Well, I have a pre anniversary surprise for your sister." Beca said as they all got into her house.

"Oh yeah? What's that? Buying a notebook so you can write your anniversary in it?" Vanessa joked.

"Ha ha good one Nessa but not quite." Beca answered.

"Not quite?" She asked back.

"You'll see." Beca said as she pulled out the driveway.

Twenty minutes they arrived at the destination.

"You're getting it tatted on?" Emily asked.

Beca nodded "Yup this way I see it every single day."

An hour later Beca was at home waiting for Stacie to arrive. She heard the front door open along with the sound of the alarm beep. Beca made her way to the kitchen where Stacie usually places her keys.

"Hey baby." Stacie smiled.

"Hey babe, I got a surprise for you." Beca smiled.

"I'm listening." Stacie joked.

Beca held out her arm "Lift up the sleeve."

Stacie did as she was instructed and looked at her wife "You didn't."

Beca smirked "Oh but I did, now I'll never forget ever again."

Stacie looked at Beca's forearm and laughed "You are something else Mitchell."

"As are you Mitchell." Beca smirked.
