Spooky Season
"Are you sure about this? Do you really want to do this and risk consequences?" Emily whispered.
"Yes Em, you know I love to scare people and who better to scare then my girlfriend." Beca smirked.
Emily sighed "Alright then, it's all set up."
"Thanks." Beca smiled.
Emily nodded and walked out of the Bella house softly closing the door behind her.
It was the day before Halloween and the rest of the girls were out a party, but Stacie had a paper due in two days that she wanted to finish. This obviously gave Beca the perfect idea, in her mind at least, to scare the life out of Stacie. With the rest of the girls out, Stacie would be alone meaning it'd be the perfect time for a scare prank. So, with the help of Emily and Jessica, Beca set up two Bluetooth speakers in Stacie's room with a video of haunted noises queued up ready to go. She also had rigged the lights to flicker on and off with a remote to add to the effect. She had dressed up in an old white gown like a spirit.
With one last double check, she smiled and slowly walked up the steps allowing the wooden floorboards to creek a bit. Once she made it up the stairs, she hid in the hallway closet where they stored extra towels and sheets.
Stacie who heard the steps creek walked out of her room confused as to who was still home. She walked out of her room and looked around.
"Girls?" Stacie called out "Any of you still here?" She asked.
She waited a few but didn't get a response. Shaking her head, she headed back "We really need to have those boards checked." She said closing the door to her room.
Beca chuckled and quietly exited the closet making her way towards Stacie's room. She took out her phone and pressed play on the video. She placed and ear to the door waiting for the reaction.
Stacie who had gone back to typing out her paper stopped when she heard a low humming.
"The fuck?" She asked looking around.
The humming got progressively louder and more constant.
"Hello?" Stacie called out now getting a bit creeped out. She got off her bed and walked around the room before checking her windows looking outside.
Beca laughed quietly before grabbing the control for the lights making them flicker on and off.
"No this is so not happening right now." Stacie said shakily.
Beca slowly opened the bedroom door making it creek creepily. She saw the tv remote on the girl's computer desk and turned it on but not the cable box so the tv was static.
Stacie snapped her head from the humming to the lights to her door and then to her tv. She was in full on freak mode right now.
"This is not happening." She said closing her eyes tightly.
"Oh, but it is sweetie." Beca said in her head.
Beca stepped in front of the tv and tilted her head in a creepy way staring at Stacie. Beca made sure her hair fell forward covering her face.
"What do you want?" Stacie asked.
Beca simply raised her index finger and pointed at Stacie.
"Why me?" Stacie asked even more frightened.
Beca didn't move or respond. She just kept on pointing at Stacie.
"Just tell me!" Stacie said as tears made their way down her face. She scanned around looking for something to use for defense but was afraid to move.
Just then Beca, who had timed her movements with the video playing the noises, brought her hand down as the video turned to a creepy demonic voice that simply said, "Your soul."
Hearing this caused Stacie to let out a scream combined with a sob as she threw caution to the wind and bolted out her room and down the stairs.
Beca laughed and quickly ran after her.
"Leave me alone!" Stacie shouted reaching the front door.
"Baby!" Beca called out before Stacie can run out the door.
Stacie stopped instantly recognizing that voice. She snapped her head around and let go of the doorknob.
"Are you serious Rebecca!? What the fuck is wrong with you!" Stacie shouted.
Beca laughed "Oh my god Stace, you should have seen your face." Beca said in tears.
Stacie marched towards her girlfriend and shoved her "What was the point of that?"
Beca looked up at her girlfriend and walked in front of her wiping the tears "Don't cry love, it was just a little scare prank." Beca smiled.
"You call that a little prank? I nearly pissed my pants!" Stacie said not sure if she should be angry, scared or relieved.
"I'm sorry for nearly giving you a heart attack but come on baby, it's Halloween eve and this was the perfect time to do this. No one was here except you." Beca said.
Stacie let out a huff. She knew Beca was right about this being the perfect opportunity, but she still wanted to get payback.
She crossed her arms "Fine. I accept your apology."
"This is why you're the best. I can prank you and you still forgive me." Beca smiled.
"Well yes, but that doesn't mean no payback." Stacie said.
Beca laughed "No offense baby but you're not the best pranker."
"No but there are other forms of payback." Stacie said moving past her and walking towards the steps.
"Like what? What's my payback?" Beca asked.
Stacie stopped at the bottom step and looked over her shoulder with a smirk "No sex for two whole weeks." She said before walking up the steps.
Beca was sure her eyes popped out in shock "What? You can't do that! Baby wait!" Beca called out frantically running after Stacie.
