Friday the 13th

"Good morning Beca." Emily beamed at the shorter girl.

Beca quickly walked over to her sister and pulled her arm dragging her to the side away from Emily's friends.

"Hey Em, talk to me over here? Ok cool great." Beca said as she dragged her near the stairs.

"Uh looks like I don't have a choice but yeah of course." Emily said.

Emily could see Beca mildly panicked expression and could only imagine what she'd done this time.

"You good B?" She asked.

Beca nodded "Yes. But uh we may have a small problem?" She said making it sound more like a question.

Emily furrowed her eyebrows "What is it?"

Beca was about to respond but a cute, adorable voice beat her to it.

"Bec!" A child like voice said excitedly.

Emily turned her head to the stairs where a precious little girl was sitting in some really oversized clothes that looked awfully familiar.

"Is that Stace?" Emily asked shocked.

"Uhhh yes." Beca said scratching the back of her neck.

"That's me!" The little girl says happily smiling showing her set of baby teeth.

"Awww Beca she's so cute." Emily squeals pinching Stacie's cheeks causing her to giggle.

"Emily." Beca says.

"Sorry, how the hell did this happen?" She asks.

Beca shakes her hands and head like she always does when she's nervous and panicking.

"I don't know, everything was fine last night. We were in bed, she wrapped me up in her arms and then I wake up to a child poking my boob." Beca said.

Emily let out a chuckle "Did anything else happen?"

"No." Beca answered.

"I don't know what to tell you sis." Emily said.

"That's all you got for me?" Beca asked with a groan.

Emily sighed and looked at her older sister "B, I don't what you want me to tell you. This is like something out of a movie."

Beca let out another groan causing child Stacie to laugh.

"Great even as a child you laugh at my misfortunes." Beca mumbled.

"Bec, I hungry." Stacie said.

Beca looked at Emily pleadingly "Please help."

Emily chuckled "Like I'd miss seeing you having to take care of a child."

Beca slapped her arm "I can take of a child. I look after you every day."

Emily gaped at her "Excuse you?"

Beca smirked "Your excused."

"Come on Stace." Beca said and the child quickly got up with a smile and followed Beca into the kitchen as Emily trailed behind.

Emily quickly dismissed her friends leaving the three to themselves.

"What do you want?" Beca asked.

"Cereal." Stacie smiled.

Beca nodded and pulled out the four different types they had "Which one?"

Stacie scanned them and pointed to the one in the middle.

Beca chuckled "Even as a child you still pick coco puffs. I guess some things don't change."

Beca poured her the cereal with milk and placed the bowl in front of her.

"Can you feed yourself?" She asked.

Stacie nodded "Yes."

"Alright." Beca smiled.

"Thank you Bec." Stacie smiled.

Emily who had been watching with a smile I checked her phone and saw the date.

"B?" She asked.

"Sup?" Beca answered serving herself some cereal as well before checking in on Stacie.

"It's Friday the 13th." Emily said.

Beca nodded "I know so?"

"What if that's the reason for this." Emily said.

"Emily that may be the dumbest thing I've heard." Beca chuckled.

"I mean this could be like a freaky Friday situation except the person turns into a kid. Friday the 13th is supposed to be a freaky day after all." Emily said.

Beca looked at her sister raising her eyebrows "Sis, Friday the 13th is a superstitious day. Not some magical age reversing day."

"I mean something has to explain this." Emily said.

Beca shrugged her shoulder but dropped her spoon as she realized something.

"Shit." Beca said.

Stacie gasped "Bad word!" She exclaimed pointing at Beca.

Emily chuckled as Beca rolled her eyes.

"I'm sorry." Beca said patting the girl on the head.

"What?" Emily said.

"The last thing I said to Stacie last night was "Don't be such a child." Because I tried freaking her out." Beca said.

"This is so messed up and fascinating at the same time." Emily said.

"This is crazy." Beca mumbled finishing up her cereal.

At that moment Emily's phone rang and she answered the call.

In the meantime, Beca helped Stacie as the child struggled to drink the milk.

"Hey sis?" Emily said.

"Yeah." Beca said taking the bowls to the sink and giving Stacie a napkin.

"I uh have to go." Emily said.

Beca turned around "What?"

"Dad called. He needs me for something he's planning." Emily answered.

"Em, you can't leave me." Beca said trying not to freak out.

Emily rolled her eyes at her sister "Beca for crying out loud you'll be fine. That is your soulmate after all." She said pointing out that fact.

Beca let out a groan "But-" She started before Emily cut her off.

"Nope. You'll be fine. It's Stacie after all. Child or not, at the end of the day no one is better at taking care of her then you." Emily said as she grabbed her bag and headed towards the door.

Beca watched her sister leave before sighing and facing Stacie who was staring back at her with a big smile.

"I can do this. This is my soulmate." Beca said knowing just how weird that sounded.

It was now 7pm and it had been a tiring day for Beca. She realized that child Stacie was way more energetic then grown Stacie. Beca figured it'd be best to let Stacie do whatever and let her tire herself out. Which actually worked as Stacie was starting to show signs of her wanting to go to bed.

So Beca picked her up and walked her up the stairs to her room. She put on some clean clothes and laid her down.

Beca was about to walk away when she felt a tiny hand wrap around hers

"Stay." Stacie said.

Beca looked at her and nods.

She climbed under the covers and almost instantly Stacie practically crawls on top of Beca's chest and placed her head on Beca's chest right under her chin like she always does.

"Comfy." Stacie said tiredly as she kissed Beca's throat.

Beca smiled and ran her hand through the girl's hair as always.

"I'm glad. Now sleep." Beca whispered.

"I love you." Stacie said before drifting off.

Beca smiled and placed a soft kiss on her head.

"I love you too." She whispered before she drifted off.

The next morning Beca woke up to something poking her boob.

She let out a groan "Not again." She said quietly.

She heard a giggle from besides her.

"Good morning Bec." She heard a childlike voice.

Beca let out a sound between a groan and whimper.

She reluctantly opened her eyes and turned her head to side.

"Oh, thank god." She breathed out as she saw her soulmate. More importantly her fully grown back to normal soulmate.

Stacie pouted playfully "Is child me really that bad?"

"You remember?" Beca asked shocked.

Stacie smiled and nodded "Every bit."

"I love you Stacie, I truly do but I prefer fully developed you over child you. No offense." Beca chuckled.

"Oh yeah? Why's that Mitchell?" Stacie asked.

"Because I couldn't do this." Beca said before bringing the taller girl in for a passionate kiss.
