"Focus, Takeda." A female voice called out. It came from a woman dressed in a beautiful kimono, but...her face was blocked out, though the strands of her silver colored hair was still seeable. She is watching two young children spar. The first held silver hair like hers, his right eye a bright red color as his left eye is yellow, almost golden. The second boy holds black hair that is unusually spiked upwards, but his face is covered by shadows. He also holds golden earings in both ears.

The two boys both held smirks on their faces as they charged each other again.

"They never listen, do they?" Another voice asked with a sigh. The woman turned to look at the young girl next to her. The girl holds long bright brown haiar. Her face also covered by shadows, as she is dressed in a white and red kimono, with a pair of japanese styled sandals on with white socks.

"Let them have their fun. They finished training for the day either ways." The woman said with a smile. The young girl sighed, but a smile still appeared on her face. The two young boys continued to punch at one another, before they both fell to the grass covered ground with loud sighs.

"They were at it again?" Another voice asked. The silver haired woman turned, seeing Iruku walking closer, arms crossed. The boy with spikey hair heard his voice, feeling energy in himself once again. He jumped up, running over and going for a punch. Iruku caught it with ease, a teasing smirk on his face. "Try again in a few years kid."

"Hmph! I'll get you one of these times." The young boy said as he pulled his fist back. Iruku smiled down at him, rubbing his hair.

"I'm sure of it. That day isn't today though." The young boy growled, before charging again, but Iruku caught him. He lifted him in the air, holding him up by his ankle behind his back.

"Geez, Iruku, always the rough one with the child." A soothing voice spoke, which made the young brunette girl turn. A smile appeared on her face at the person she saw. It is a young woman with a voluptuous figure and very long blonde hair, her face the same as the others. She is a woman with delicate facial features and her eyebrows are cut very short and round a symbol of nobility. Her hair is tied in a loose ponytail, reaching all the way down to her legs that ends in a spiral, with taut bandages to keep it in place.

"It helps him learn. If he can't handle it, he would have told me." Iruku retorted. The young brunette girl got closer to the woman, who held her close.

"Is it time for my training, mother?" She asked, earning a nod in response.

"That's right. I wish I could stay for longer, you two, but as you heard..." The silver haired woman shook her head, as the silver haired boy walked over to her.

"It's fine. I need to get this little knucklehead back home anyways." The woman said as she ruffled the young boys hair.

"H-Hey!" The boy pushed her hand away, crossing his arms with a pout. It only made the woman laugh, as she pulled him closer, his head against her stomach.

"I'm just teasing, little pup. Besides, you wish to see Lady Serafall again, don't you?" She asked. The boys face grew in a heavy blush, as the woman giggled. "What was it you said last time you saw her? 'Ah, Sera, once I'm strong enough, I'll marry you. I promise!'" The woman mimicked the young boys voice, which only made his blush grow.

The three adults laughed, as the young boy ran off.

"Wait up, Tlittle pup." The silver haired woman said through her laughs. "I'll see you all soon." She turned and left with the boy, as the entire area slowly disappeared.

Takeda's eyes quickly opened. He felt sweat fall down his face, as he recalled the dream. Dreams like that, they had been reoccuring ever since the fight with Amatsu. That was a month ago, and things were relatively quiet around Kuoh. Issei had told Takeda about the incident with the excommunicated nuns when he returned, but nothing truly came of it. Rias said they would keep eyes open should anything occur. The advice of keeping an eye on the Astaroth Heir wouldn't be forgotten neither, at least they hope they wouldn't.

Takeda rubbed the sleep out of his eyes, before he tried to sit up, but...he finally took notice of the body laid on top of his own. He would have thought it was Kuroka again, considering she would come into his bed to sleep, but then...he saw flaxen brown hair.

'What the...' He slowly lifted the covers, before his eyes widened in shock, a deep blush covering his face. Laid right on top of him was the mother of his King, Venelana Gremory. She was sleeping soundly on top of him, no clothing on at all. The mere sight of her voluptuous body only made his blush grow, making his face match Rias' hair in color. She softly moaned, as her eyes slowly opened. She rubbed her eyes a bit, before looking up at Takeda. Just seeing the blush on her face, made her smile.

"Good morning, you~" She said as she cupped his cheek.

"L-Lana...what are you doing here?" He asked in a hushed whisper. She giggled a bit, leaning closer against him. Somehow, her body was pressed even closer to his own.

"I just decided to visit. Though I got here when it was already late, and you were already asleep. So, I just decided to jump into bed with you. You don't mind, do you?" She asked with fake shyness. Takeda never thought he would see someone like Venelana able to make such a shy expression look so nice, but here he was seeing just that.

"N-Not at all." He said, getting a smile in response. 'I'm not quite sure how to feel about this right now...I mean, she's Rias' mother...is this just because I remind her so much of Julius?' He thought to himself, not realizing that Venelana's face was getting closer to his. He finally came back to his senses, seeing what she was doing. But her lips found his cheek instead, as he felt her grind a bit against him.

"Such a sweet boy. Perhaps I should spoil you a bit~" She spoke in his ear.

"Takeda, are you awake yet!?" Takeda's eyes widened at the sound of Kuroka's voice. Venelana turned to the door with a cute pout on her face, before she turned back to Takeda with a warm smile.

"I guess I should fix this situation. Act natural." She said, as she got out of the bed. A pair of clothes appeared on her, as she teleported out of the room. Takeda sighed, as the door was opened. Kuroka stood there, fully dressed for the day.

"Oh, you're awake.." Kuroka then heard the doorbell go off. "I'll go see who it is, you should go get ready." Takeda simply nodded, as the Nekoshou left the room. He shook his head, putting a hand to his head as he sighed. He got out of bed, collecting a new set of clothes as he walked towards the bathroom.

'Just what was that all abaout...? I know she was thankful for my help last month...but this far...is it possible, that she...' Takeda got lost in his thoughts, as he stepped in front of the bathroom door. He didn't hear the voices from the other side, as he opened the door. He stopped midway from stepping in, as Seilah was staring right back at him in shock. Takeda grew a blush.

"T-Takeda..." Seilah muttered as she blushed as well, though her face still held it's neutral expression.

"S-Sorry!" He yelled out, slamming the door shut. The woman still held a blush, but smiled overall at his reaction. With Takeda, he shook his head as he made his way to the downstairs bathroom. He made sure to have the door locked as well. 'Just what is going on today?' He thought to himself.

The rest of the morning was quite eventful, as Venelana made the excuse that she came to visit Takeda, stating that they needed to catch up after the last time they saw one another. Thankfully, Kuroka saw nothing wrong with it, as Takeda had to try and forget the...memorable morning he just had. It didn't help that Venelana sat next to him, constantly with her hand on his thigh.

Thankfully, nothing else occured, as it was now back to school for Takeda. He did return after the escorting job for Zeoticus, but it didn't take long before he had another job asked of him to do. This one took a week as well, so now it was back to catching up for Takeda. Currently, he is sat on the school roof, lunch next to him as he is going over the material he had missed.

For the young devil, he didn't mind school all too much. Of course, he didn't enjoy it either. Even though they were gone, he promised his foster parents he would at least finish high school, and he was going to keep that promise, and that included keeping the grades above at least a B.

As he was sat in silence, he heard the door to the roof open. Turning, he looked to see Akeno walking over. She held a bento box in hand, as she stopped in front of him.

"Having any trouble?" She asked, sitting next to him. She looked down, seeing it was an assignment from the previous week.

"Yeah, I suppose not being there to learn it makes it a lot more difficult than it should be." Takeda stated, scratching the back of his head. Akeno giggled, as she took the papers from his hand.

"Thankfully for you, I just so happen to be acing all of my classes right now. " Akeno said, as she began to help him with the assignment. Takeda held a smile the entire time. It had been a while since the two of them had time to themselves. Takeda did enjoy his time with the others as well, but Akeno was always going to be the first person he had gotten attached to. Something about her just urged him closer.

The events of the rest of the day went by rather quickly, as Takeda was walking the streets of Kuoh with Koneko. Apparently, the old school building was having it's annual cleaning, so Issei volunteered his home to hold the club meeting. That being where the two are headed now.

The cute part about it all, is that Koneko was holding onto his arm tightly, which Takeda didn't mind.

"What was your last contract about?" Koneko asked him, as Takeda thought back on it.

"Nothing too troubling. Someone in the Underworld just wanted me to handle some wild boar in their lands. I did get to bring Seilah along, so it wasn't overly difficult." Takeda explained, earning a soft hum from the nekoshou.

Takeda understood well that as he moved up the ranks, the contracts would be much more difficult to accomplish. But he was willing to put up with it.

As he was thinking to himself, he suddenly felt Koneko tug at his sleeve. He looked down, seeing she was pointing at a candy shop just across the road.

"...Can we get some sweets?" She asked. Takeda smiled down at her, petting her head. The action caused her to pur in happiness.

"Sure." The two entered the shop, with Takeda watching Koneko pick out tons of candy. He sweatdropped at the amount she picked out, before she plopped them down on the counter in front of the cashier.

He looked in shock, turning to Takeda who could only laugh as he scratched the back of his head. He pulled out his wallet, before sighing.

"Well...there goes all the money I earned." Koneko didn't make a reaction to his comment, simply staring at her soon to be candy. Takeda handed over the money for it all, mentally crying at all the money he just spent.

The two left, with Takeda carrying the giant bag of candy.

"I know I shouldn't ask, but are you sure you can eat all of this?" Takeda asked, as Koneko had already taken out a piece of chocolate.

"I'll be fine." She simply stated, as she still held onto his arm. The rest of the walk to Issei's house was quiet, with the small sounds of Koneko's chewing. It didn't bother Takeda though, since she was as adorable as she is.

Finally, they found Issei's house, Takeda knocking on the door. Opening the door was a woman in her early to mid thirties, with brown colored hair and matching eyes.

"Hi there, how can I help you?" She asked.

"Yeah, I'm Takeda. This is Koneko, we're here as apart of the Occult Research Club." Takeda explaianed.

"Is that what it's called?" She said, before smiling towards the two. "Well, come on in. The others are all in Issei's room. It's the first room on the right when you go up the stairs." She said.

"Thank you." Takeda nodded in thanks, as did Koneko as they moved into the house.

"Oh, if you could do something for me." Mrs Hyoudou called out.

"Yes, ma'am?"

"I also made some cookies for the group, Would you mind taking them up for me?" She asked, coming out of the kitchen with a large plate of cookies .

"Not at all." Takeda took the large plate from her hands, before he and Koneko moved up the steps. Koneko opened the door for Takeda, as he walked in. "Sorry we're late." Takeda stated.

In the room were Rias and Akeno both sat on the bed. Kiba, Asia, Issei, and Raynare were sat on the floor.

"What caused you to be late?" Takeda simply raised the back of sweets for Koneko. All heads turned to the nekoshou herself, who only shrugged with a pocky stick in her mouth. They all laughed, as Takeda set down the plate of cookies in the middle of everyone.

"Well, we were just about to go over everyone's contracts from last month, so you're right on time."

"Hmm, lucky me." Takeda said as he took a seat in Issei's chair.

"Alright. First, Akeno with 12 contracts."

"That's right."

"Kiba with 9."

"That I did."

"Koneko with 8."

"Mmhmm."

"Asia, you managed 5 contracts." Everyone gave the previous nun her congratulations, as Rias turned to both Takeda and Issei. "Meanwhile, you both were able to get 10 contracts last month. Be it you're both still the newest at beings Devils, but you've both done well." Rias said with a proud smile.

Rias knew how much more difficult Takeda's contracts were becoming. The more he would do at being a Middle-Class Devil, the more challenging they would become. Some of these however, could be life threatening as well. So far, it hadn't come to that, but there was a chance it could.

As Rias was about to speak again, a knock was at the door. The door opened, revealing Mrs. Hyouodou.

"I do hope I'm not interupting anything." She started, making Rias shake her head.

"Not at all, ma'am."

"Well, as a parent, I feel it's my duty to...tease my children whenever I get the chance. So..." She revealed the the photo books from behind her back.

"M-Mom!?" Issei yelled out as he began to blush. Takeda couldn't help but chuckle at the sight.

"Oh, and Takeda. A friend of yours was at the door, so I let her in." Takeda looked in confusion, as Seilah popped her head through the door, though she had her horns hidden away.

"Good afternoon, Takeda." She called out.

"Seilah? Is something wrong?" Takeda asked, but she shook her head before an amused smile came over her face. "I was cleaning the house, when I found this under the TV stand." Seilah revealed a medium sized album book, making Takeda's eyes widen.

"I forgot that survived the fire..." Takeda muttered. The girls began to look through the books, as Takeda took notice of the blush on Rias' face as she looked through Issei's photo album.

"My my, weren't you just cute as a child." Akeno said. Takeda took a look, seeing it as a photo of a ten year old Takeda, wearing a dark red jacket. It was one of the jackets where you could pull the zipper over the face to wear as a mask, with the design of dragon horns on the hood.

"Ise..." Rias muttered, a blush on her face as she looked through Issei's photo album with Asia.

"So cute..." The former nun muttered.

"Little Takeda..." Koneko muttered as she sat in between Rias and Akeno. Takeda groaned, before he turned to Seilah with a slight glare. She only gave a soft laugh and an amused smile.

"Just allow them to have some fun, Takeda. Besides, you were cute...before you became handsome..." Seilah said, a blush appearing on her face nearing the end of her sentence.

"By the way, if you're here, who's watching the house?" Takeda asked.

"I know you don't trust her since she can be lazy at times, but Kuroka said she'll watch it while I'm gone. Just trust her this once." Seilah said. Takeda sighed, but nodded.

"Hey Takeda..." The young Devil turned to see Rias with the photo album turned to him. "Who's this boy?" Takeda looked at the photo, a look of confusion coming over his face. In the photo was the image of a young Takeda, his hair a totally different color. Sat next to him is a boy with spikey black hair and golden colored eyes. Both boys are grinning, as they are sat on a pair of swings in a park.

"I'm...I'm not sure." Takeda answered truthfully, as he took the book from Rias slowly. He looked at it closely, before recognizing his face. 'He...he was in the dream I had last night...' He thought to himself. "W-Well, enjoy the pictures." He said, handing the album back to Rias.

Issei noticed that Kiba was laughing at one of the photos in the album. Issei breathed heavily, as he lunged for Kiba. Though the Gremory knight was able to dodge the lunge, still laughing.

"Oi, Kiba! Give that back!"

"Takeda, catch!"

Kiba threw the photo album towards Takeda, who caught it with ease. Takeda allowed himself to smirk lightly as Issei ran towards him. Takeda didn't bother, simply throwing the album back to Kiba.

"Why!?" Issei yelled out.

"Not my fault you're slow." Takeda said, earning a glare from Issei. The black haired Devil simply put his hands up in mock surrender. Kiba continued to look through the photo album with a smile, but he stopped at one page as the smile left his face.

"Hey, Ise..."

The brunette turned to Kiba, who showed him the image he was looking at. The photo was of young Issei. Sat next to him with a gaming device in hand was a young girl with chestnut brown hair and purple colored eyes. Behind them, is a large European sword held up on a pedastal horizontally."

"'Do you remember this?"

"Yeah. The girls name is Irina, she was one of my few friends when I was younger and her family was super religious. They took me with them a few times too. Other than that, I don't remember much." Issei explained, as Kiba's eyes hardened.

"...A Holy Sword here of all places..." Kiba muttered quietly, but Takeda still heard him. He looked him in the eyes, and recognized the look all too well...the look of revenge. Kiba shook away the look, now holding his usual smile on his face. "It's nothing. Thanks for the great photos."

'Kiba...'

The next day had come, with the annual Kuoh Academy Ball Tournament ready to take place. The ORC were in the gym along with the Baseball Team, playing in a game of dodgeball. The Baseball Team were basically ignoring Rias, Akeno, Koneko, and Asia. Kiba was off standing to the side with an uncaring expression on his face, with both Issei and Takeda being aimed at by everyone on the Baseball Team.

"Get Hyoudou and Nakamura!"

"Screw all of you!" Issei yelled out as he continued to dodge. Takeda dodged the balls with an bored expression on his face.

"How bothersome..." He muttered. Everytime he would dodge a ball, another would come straight after it. Thankfully he had the reflexes to catch it and hand it off to his own team.

As he continued to dodge, his attention went to Asia and Raynare, who were both wearing cheerleader outfits.

"Again, tell me why they listened to Aika again?" Takeda asked Issei as they continued to dodge.

"I'm not quite sure. Well, Raynare is always trying to find ways to get my attention, so I guess this worked in her favor."

"And the same goes for Asia as well. I swear, she just needs to be herself...probably not possible with Aika around..." Takeda muttered, Issei nodding in agreement.

"Stop holding a conversation in the middle of a game!" The Baseball Team captain yelled out in frustration. He threw the ball towards Takeda, who simply grabbed the ball in his hand, before throwing it right back. The Captain coughed up saliva as he fell back against the floor.

Takeda saw that a larger member of the Baseball team were preparing to throw a dodge ball towards Kiba at full force.

"I don't care if I'm hated, take this pretty boy!"

"Kiba!"

"...Huh?"

Before the dodge ball made contact with Kiba, Issei appeared next to him and caught it in his hand. He then sighed slightly as he looked towards Kiba with a confused expression.

"Y'know. For a knight, that was kind of sloppy of you."

"...Sorry, I got sidetracked."

The Ball Tournament soon ended, the ORC coming in 1st place. School had ended, as umbrella's were needed since it began to rain out, as a loud sound echoed throughout the area.

SLAP!

All heads turned to see Rias had slapped Kiba across the face, his face still holding it's uncaring look.

"Did that wake you up?"

"Are you done now? The Ball Tournament has finished. We won't be praciticing anymore so can I take a rest until night comes. I'm a bit tired so I will be taking a break from the usual club activity. I'm sorry for my behavior this noon. Seems like I didn't feel well today."

With those words spoken, Kiba began to walk off, but Issei followed after him.

"Kiba, what's up with you?"

"It's none of your concern."

"Even I'm getting worried about you."

"Worried? Who worries about who? I think it's normal for Devils to live by how they want. Well, I think I'm at fault for not listening to my master this time." Kiba said, his back still turned to Issei.

"It's troublesome in a situation like this when trying to form a proper group. That's how we felt after we went through that bitter experience in the previous match, remember. Don't we have to cover for each other's weak points from now on? We are comrades."

"Comrades..."

"Yes, comrades."

"You are always burning...Ise, lately I started to remember the basic things." Issei looked towards him with a confused expression on his face, as Kiba continued with a solemn expression on his face.

"Basic?"

"Yeah, that's right. The reason why I am fighting."

"Isn't it for the President?"

"No. I'm living so I can seek my revenge. Holy Sword Excalibur. Destroying that is the reason why I am living." Kiba turned his head towards Issei, revealing his hatred filled eyes, before he walked off.

Takeda had been listening in the entire time, as he could only shake his head in disapppointment.

Takeda sat on his bed within his house, the only photo album he has in his hands. The book is turned to the image Rias had asked him about earlier. He stared at the picture for what felt like hours, before a knock was at his door.

"Takeda, dinner's ready." The voice of Seilah called out, but Takeda didn't answer. He was still in his own world.

'Just who are you...?' Takeda thought. He knew that he couldn't remember anything before the age of nine, nothing at all. No matter how hard he tried, nothing would come up. This boy had to be from those memories he could not find. But maybe...maybe they were slowly coming back to him. All of the dreams he was having. They had to be past memories. They had to be.

"Takeda!"

The young male fell backwards, now seeing that Seilah was stood next to his bed, a worried look in her eyes.

"S-Seilah...sorry, I spaced out." He apologized, earning an amused laugh.

"You think? I called you at least 10 times. So, what's on your mind?" Seilah asked, as she sat on the edge of his bed.

"I don't know, it's just...my memories. Some of them have been blocked off, at least I believe they are. No matter how hard I try, I can never see them. But lately...I've been having dreams...all of them of this little boy. Silver hair, mismatched eyes, but at the same time...his energy feels almost like mine. It's all just so confusing." Takeda explained, as Seilah listened closely.

"That does sound like something that would take your mind away from the outside world." The demon stated, as she grabbed onto Takeda's hand. "Wanna tell me of one of them?"

"I suppose..." Takeda thought back, remembering one of the first dreams he had. "It was...in some village. It showed some man...knelt down in front of the rest of the village...They called him tainted, before they killed him. That same young boy I was talking about, the man fell in his lap...blood all over the boy, and then...it ended in darkness..." Takeda recalled the dream, as Seilah listened silently.

Seilah listened to the story closely, as she felt guilt run through her own body. It reminded her too much...of her own past.

"Even then, why would he be called tainted? For what reason? If that little boy is me, is it because I'm a Fallen Angel? And if that's the case, then did I always know of the supernatural...? I just have so many questions, too many questions...with no answers." Takeda said, as he gripped the covers of his bed tightly.

"Takeda, listen." Takeda looked towards Seilah, seeing her giving him her usual small smile. "If you give it time and have patience, perhaps the answer will come to you over time. Don't rush it, allow it to flow like time itself." Seilah stated, shocking Takeda with the words of wisdom. He allowed himself to smile, before gripping her hand tighter.

"...Thank you, Seilah. You've helped calm my nerves. I appreciate it."

"Of course! I'll always be here to help, whenever you need it." Seilah stated, before getting off the bed. "Now come on, I don't need you going to bed on an empty stomach." She said as she slapped his calf, before walking out the door.

Takeda slightly laughed, as he got out of bed, leaving for the dining room.

'There's more to you, Seilah...I can tell...I'll just have to wait for you to tell me...'

In another location, two figures are seen stood atop a large mountain in the human world. The first figure holds spikey black hair, most of it standing upwards while other strands fall down his back, a few others falling down his chest. His eyes are sharp and golden yellow in color. He is wearing a red bow-tied obi around his waste, black baggy trousers on as well. Around his calves, the pants are tucked into matching black boots with grey outlines. He also holds golden yellow earings in each ear, holding on by pieces of string. The most noticable feature of him, is that his arms and stomach are all covered by reddish brown fur.

The second figure is a handsome young man with light silver hair and hazel eyes. He is wearing a dark green V-neck shirt with a high-collared black leather jacket over it. He also wears burgundy jeans with a silver chain drooping down over them and black leather chaps with three bands encircling his right calf, and black shoes with black buckles.

"You sensed it too, didn't you? A month ago?" The second male asked, turning to the black haired male with his arms crossed. The first male took to kneeling down, placing his hand against the ground. He holds a small smirk on his face, as he looks up to the sky above.

"Of course I did. I would sense that aura no matter what." His smirk grew wider, as he stood up straight again. "Tell me, do you think he'll still be as strong as he was? Would you still see him as a rival, just as I once did?" The fur covered male asked. The silver haired male took to smirking as well, as he held out his hand to the skies above.

"That all depends on him." He simply stated, clenching his hand into a fist. "I truly do wonder, old friend...how will you fair now?"

"You done monologuing?" A feminine voice asked. Both turned, seeing a young woman walking their way. Her hair is a dark brown color, her eyes a purple blue color. She is wearing a loose brown and white kimono, the attached ends that reach her calves being dark red. Around her waist is a loose bow, which is brown with golden linings. Her shoes are loose, being white, brown and gold in color. Holding her styled hair together are two seperate pieces of clips, made of pure gold with red sashes attached to the ends. Her overall clothing doesn't do much to hide her voluptuous figure.

The fur covered male laughed at her question, as he walked towards her.

"Just let him...it's the most fun he has when that little girlfriend of his isn't around." The male said, before walking off. The silver haired male scowled at him for a second, before it dropped into an amused smirk.

"That's funny, considering you yourself don't really hold someone you love, do you?" He asked, as the male turned back to him with a smirk.

"I mean...I love my old man, and if I ever get into a relationship, that'll be the day I finally give up on battle and fighting." He stated, before continuing to walk off. The brunette beauty sighed at their usual antics, rubbing her head in annoyance.

"You two never stop, do you?" She asked, before following after the black haired male. The last of the three looked back towards the sky again, a small smile on his face.

"Tell me, old friend. Is your strength still there? I'll be the judge of that myself. I promise you that." He stated, before turning and walking down the trail down the mountain.
