Note: I hope that more crossovers with The Raccoons get made, do you guys agree? Anyway, let's put that aside. Before we move on with the new chapter, I want to say something to two reviewers.

King Tutenfoxenkhamen III: Well, you'll find out what General Pepper's reaction is. Also, Krystal did mention that the portal spawns on other planets, not just Corneria, so the others don't have to wait ten to twelve years for the portal to spawn on Corneria again. However, stay tuned for what will happen next.

Ron: Thanks, I hope that you enjoy this chapter as well.

Alrighty then, now thatwe've cleared that up, it's time for chapter two.

Chapter 2: Meet the Raccoons

The door on the house-shaped tree opened up, which caused Fox, Wolf and Krystal to look at the doorway. After that, one of the inhabitants stepped out. The inhabitant in question was a raccoon with a bent nose. He was wearing a red and yellow sweater that had a single yellow "B" on it, having no pants on. In addition to that, he had a curious expression on his face, having a slightly goofy look to it as well.

"Hello there," Krystal spoke, "do you mind if we come into your house?"

The raccoon tilted his head, turning around to face the opposite end of the room.

"I think your words were wasted on him, Krys." Fox stated.

However, the raccoon began to shout inside the house.

"Ralph! Melissa! We have guests!"

"You could've just said 'yes' to us." Wolf said as he rolled his eyes.

"I have to get permission from my friends, though!" The raccoon said to him.

All of a sudden, another raccoon came up to them. She was wearing a pink tank top, having no pants like the other one. In addition to that, she had pretty blue eyes and purple eyeshadow. Like her friend, she looked at Fox, Wolf and Krystal with curiosity. However, her curiosity was mixed with acceptance.

"I see that our new guests are new to the Evergreen Forest." The female raccoon said.

"Yeah," Fox said, "and we're in need of shelter."

"Can we let them in, Melissa?" The taller raccoon asked.

"I'm not sure how Ralph would react to this." Melissa stated.

"React to what?" Another raccoon came up to the doorway. He was wearing a white scarf, but nothing else. However, unlike the other two, his expression changed from curiosity to fear.

"Take a picture, it'll last longer." Wolf stated.

"Who are you guys?" The scarf-wearing raccoon asked.

"We'll explain later," Fox said, "please, let us in!"

"C'mon, Ralph!" The sweater-wearing raccoon said.

Ralph, the scarf-wearing raccoon, struggled with his decision for a moment. However, he looked up at Fox, Wolf and Krystal.

"Alright," he said, "come on in. Just make sure to wipe your feet."

Fox and Wolf did so, helping Krystal into the house. The moment they helped her to her feet, the cobalt vixen winced in pain. Her pained expression did not go unnoticed by Melissa, who looked at the vixen's legs.

"Oh my!" Melissa spoke, looking at Krystal. "Did you break your foot, miss?"

"Close enough," Krystal stated, "I twisted my ankle."

"Well, let's lay you on the couch!" The raccoon said as she walked to a sofa, with Fox and Wolf following her as they carried Krystal over.

"Here you go, sweetie." Wolf said as he lie Krystal on the couch.

"I'll massage your leg." Fox stated as he began to massage Krystal's right ankle.

After Krystal had been put on the couch, Fox and Wolf saw that they were being looked at by the three raccoons.

"Now that you're in," Ralph spoke, "can you tell us who you are?"

"Yeah, fill our heads with information!" The tallest raccoon said.

"Promise that you won't freak out?" Fox asked.

"We'll understand." Melissa said. "Besides, we've had many different house guests."

"Alright," the tod spoke, "I am Fox McCloud, leader of Star Fox. I come from the Lylat System, along with Wolf O'Donnell, the guy standing next to me, and Krystal Bodimead, the girl with the twisted ankle."

"Lylat System?" Ralph asked.

"It's two star systems away from yours." Krystal stated. "Also, we come from the year of 2141."

"Wow!" The tallest raccoon said. "You guys are aliens from the future!"

"To you, we're aliens!" Wolf said as he rolled his eyes.

"You'll have to excuse Bert, he's easily excited." Melissa said.

"Bert?" Fox asked.

"That's me: Bert Raccoon!" The tallest raccoon introduced himself. "I deliver the Evergreen Standard after Ralph and Melissa are done making it!"

"And that's us." Ralph stated. "I'm Ralph Raccoon, the editor and co-owner of the Evergreen Standard."

"Melissa Raccoon," Melissa said, "I'm the photographer for the Standard."

"Nice to meet the three of you." Fox said.

"The feeling's mutual." Ralph said.

"We just didn't expect to have two foxes and a wolf in the Raccoondominium, let alone aliens!" Bert stated.

"Well, we've had a raccoon in our vicinity." Krystal said.

"Really?" Melissa asked.

"Yes," Fox sighed, "but he's a comedian that no one likes, except for Falco."

"His name is Glenn Raccoon, before you ask." Wolf stated. "Chances are, he might be the descendant of one of you."

"Who?" Bert asked.

"We won't tell." Krystal said. "However, I can sense two younger raccoons coming to your house."

"Oh, that's our niece and nephew, Lisa and Bentley!" Melissa said.

"They're probably almost here." Ralph stated.

A knock came on the door.

"They're here!" Krystal said.

Bert went over to the door and opened it. Standing in the doorway was a raccoon with a ponytail who dwarfed her fellow ringtails. She was wearing a pink shirt, overalls and pink sneakers. Next to her was a little boy who was nearly Ralph and Melissa's height. The youngest raccoon was wearing a blue shirt, but no pants like Bert, Ralph and Melissa. These two were the Lisa and Bentley Melissa had mentioned.

"Lisa, Bentley, meet our new house guests!" Bert said as he gestured to Fox, Krystal and Wolf.

Upon seeing the three Lylatians, Bentley was left speechless, while Lisa approached Fox. The young woman had a look of curiosity on her face.

"Andy Mercury?" Lisa asked. "Shouldn't you be working on that movie in Hollywood?"

"Andy Mercury?" Fox spoke. "You must have me confused with someone else. I'm Fox McCloud, leader of Star Fox, kid."

"He's an alien from the future, along with the other two!" Bert explained, before having his mouth covered by Ralph.

"Aliens from the future?" Bentley spoke. "Cool!"

"You're not afraid of us?" Krystal asked.

"Of course not, I've always wanted an alien friend!" The young raccoon said as he walked up to the cobalt vixen.

"Well, don't count on me being your friend." Wolf stated.

"Yeah, Wolf's not the friendliest of people." Fox added.

Lisa came over to Krystal, sitting near the cobalt vixen.

"Why are you laying on the couch?" She asked. "Are you hurt?"

"Yes," Krystal answered, "I twisted my ankle."

"I'm sure it will get better." Lisa stated.

"By the way, how did you get here?" Bentley asked.

"Yeah, that's something I want to know." Ralph stated.

"To make a long story short," Fox spoke, "Krystal, Wolf and I came here through a portal that takes you not only to another planet, but back in time. We're waiting for another portal to spawn so that we can go home."

"Portals that make you travel through time and space?" Lisa asked.

"That's crazy!" Bert stated.

"It's the truth, you primitive ringtails!" Wolf scoffed.

"Oh," Bentley spoke, "hearing you talk about portals reminds me of that scientist who is also visiting the Evergreen Forest!"

"Scientist?" Fox asked.

"Yup," the young raccoon said, "his name is Rowan Bucciarati! I bet that he'll speak to you and your friends, Fox!"

"Really?" The vulpine was surprised.

"All three of you should go see him," Ralph spoke, "he might be able to tell when that portal will come back!"

"I might not be able to meet him at the moment, my ankle needs to heal." Krystal stated.

"And I feel like I'd beat him to a pulp." Wolf said.

"Looks like I'm the one to speak with Dr. Bucciarati." Fox said.

"Well, what are we waiting for?" Bentley went to the door. "Let's go!"

"I'm going, too!" Bert followed the little boy to the door.

"Wait for me, you two!" Fox said as Bentley opened the door.

Back on Corneria, Falco, Peppy, Slippy, Leon and Panther had gotten finished explaining what happened to General Pepper.

"This is terrible!" The hound dog cried. "Not only have three of you gone through that portal, but there is no way to get them back!"

"Calm down," Panther said, "there might be a way to get them back."

"Really?" Slippy asked.

"Yes," the black jungle cat stated, "Corneria isn't the only planet the portal has appeared on. There have also been reports of it appearing on Titania, Katina, Fichina and Fortuna. It can spawn anywhere, even on planets it hasn't appeared on before."

"Do we have anything that can detect where it will spawn?" Falco asked.

"I don't think that the technology we have in the Lylat System can detect a portal like that." Pepper stated. "It's as if the portal in question is made out of magic."

"Magic?!" Leon was baffled. "That's ridiculous! We don't know anyone who can find a magic portal!"

"You seem to be forgetting someone, Leon." Peppy said.

"Oh," the chameleon said, "him."

"Yeah, let's go see if the old guy can do something like that." Falco stated.

"Indeed," Panther said, "hopefully, the others are doing okay, wherever they're at."

The five left the room, leaving General Pepper to speak with Bill.

"Have you seen this portal before, Bill?" Pepper asked.

"No," Bill answered, "I'm actually not sure if I have!"

"Then it looks like we'll have to go where it will spawn next." The hound dog stated. "With help from Randorn, we can find it and save Fox, Krystal and Wolf."

"Yeah," the gray hound said, "I hope that they're somewhere safe."

Note: Welp, Fox and the rest of the team are getting help from different sources. Also, it looks like the Cornerian Army is going to approach the portal when it reappears. Let's just hope that nothing bad happens. Until next time guys, this is Newcomer24, signing off. Peace!
