Chapter 26
The next few months were interesting for the young Muggleborn girl, she learned so much and had so much fun during the last year she had lived in this new and amazing world she was now a part of.
She had become much closer than she thought possible to her new friends and even to their families that were at school with her during that time for the most part though that was mostly because they were much older than her.
Violet had started wrote to her parents only once a week as to not overwhelm them with information as well as the fact she started having less time, as the school workload had become much bigger through hers wasn't as much as those older than her for which she was thankful for at the moment.
Violet even loved the teachers which she had never thought possible she especially loved Professor Lupin and Longbottom they were just as funny as they were informative and interesting and she had even had the chance to meet them outside of class because of how close her friends were with both of them in different ways.
She had even met Mrs. Longbottom (whom she was allowed to call Hannah) again while she was at school and she was such an amazing woman and a very good Healer which she thankfully didn't have to witness first hand but had been there when Lily's brother and cousins had a prank that had gone wrong for them.
While she had expected some interesting things to happen to her, she had noticed something that was just plain wearied like whenever she found either James Sirius or Professor Lupin around school and she seemed to have caught them off guard, something would always brush over her shoulder but there was nothing there while at first, she had considered being part of the magical school she went to, now she had her doubts.
Or like the fact that sometimes when her new friends would be talking and she would enter the room they would immediately change the subject which she didn't understand why they did that because they usually told her everything and she thought they didn't have any secrets between them.
Violet for the first time in her life had good grades and was loving what she was learning which had surprised not only her but even her parents and she couldn't wait to show them her report card at the end of school which she was sure would be her best yet.
Even her grades in Potions had improved with the help of the books her friend had given her and with the help of Scorpius Malfoy whom she had come to like very much and like others thought there was something between him and Rose which they both seemed to deny at every chance they had.
She surprising herself had even finished the books Lily had given her and her friend had been right to warn her as apparently being close to them was very hard to achieve and everyone wanted to be close to her so they could be close to them which she knew very well that they didn't like it without being told.
And while she loved the world, she was now a part off she couldn't help but be excited at the fact that school was ending and that she would have three uninterrupted months with her family.
"Are you excited?" asked Lily Potter looking at her friend with curious brown eyes
Violet was shaken out of her thoughts by that and she turned to look at her friend" Yeah it will be nice to stay at home and not have so much work to do anymore." she then turned towards her friends and said," What are you all the most excited for?"
"Our birthday? "said Hugo
"You of course are invited," said Lily looking at her cousin
"Thanks." said the Muggleborn smiling through the feeling she had had for a while didn't leave her still
The last days were spent packing and having fun with friends and getting the last bits of magic before she was unable to use it again until September.
When Violet got off the train and jumped in her parents' arms, she couldn't help but look back one more time before she was ready to leave her world.
"Are you ready to go?" asked her dad
The redhaired girl was about to answer when someone called them from behind making all of them turn to see James Sirius.
