Chapter 27

The older boy was wearing his Hogwarts robes and was calling them towards him with a smile so they assumed it wasn't anything bad but you could never be too careful.

"Hello Mr. and Mrs. Dursley it's nice meeting you all again." said the older wizard pointedly ignoring the people that that made his father's life hell just because he was forced to play nice with them didn't mean he had to like it

"What going on is everything alright?" asked Natalie, she had been worried for the entire year while her daughter had been away and she didn't want anything bad to happen now that she had her daughter with her

James Sirius smiled reassuringly" Yes everything's alright you have nothing to worry about I just want to speak with you and your family for a minute."

"Then speak," said Carter harshly he didn't trust the boy or the way he looked at his little sister it didn't matter to the younger boy that the wizard said he was in a relationship

He shook his head and said" Not here." while walking signaling them to follow all six Dursley and Natalie's parents followed the young man

They walked for a couple of minutes out of the train station and towards an area without too many people around.

While before they wouldn't have noticed now, they were able to see the tail tails signs of magic surrounding them through it wasn't that much so they assumed most people here didn't have magic.

They stopped in front of cozy looking little shop that was kind of hidden away.

The shop was called Lavander's Connor when they entered and looked more closely at the inside of the place.

There were At least twenty small, circular tables that were crammed inside it, all surrounded by chintz armchairs and fat little poufs. Everything was lit with dim, lavender-colored light; the curtains at the windows were all closed, and the many lamps were draped with lavender scarves.

It was stiflingly warm, and the fire which was burning under the crowded mantelpiece was giving off a heavy, sickly sort of perfume as it heated a large kettle.

The shelves running around the circular walls were crammed with dusty-looking feathers, stubs of candles, many packs of tattered playing cards, countless silvery crystal balls and a huge array of teacups.

Everyone was brought back from their shock by a voice from the back of the shop" Hello curious mind welcome to Lavander's Connor." the voice was gravely and mysterious and she had a far off look in her eyes but that immediately changed after she saw who was with them

She smiled and looked more down to earth than she had been before and they finally had the opportunity to look at her more clarity she was of Indian descent with long black hair, in a plait, and dark features and while her neck was covered with scarves, they could see a silver neckless with the letters P and L surrounded by what they assumed was a circle they could also see what appeared to be a burn on the left side of her neck and face going even to her hand which was uncovered.

"Hi James Sirius how have you been?" asked the mysterious woman" How was school?"

"Great as always thank you for asking Parvati." the young wizard said smiling at the woman she was one of his dad's friends and he had grown-up around her his entire life and she was the reason he had never put down Divination despite his aunt Hermione's insistence that It was a waste of time though he himself had no talent for that and hadn't bothered with the subject

"He is in the back you know the way, right?" the younger man nodded and mentioned the others to follow him

"what was that?" asked Liam" And shouldn't her name be Lavender?" he had assumed that was the case because of the name at the entrance

"Parvati is a good friend of my father's and the shop is one of those places where you can see your future," answered James Sirius

"She can see the future?" asked Natalie

"No, she is not a Seer she is just good at reading people through she was great at Divination at school at least that's what my dad says. She just couldn't stay in the Wizarding World after the war and the death of her best friend during the final battle so she moved here and used her abilities towards people who don't know the existence of magic."

"What happened?" asked Natalie a bit afraid of the answer her husband and mother-in-law had told her everything they knew about the wars which wasn't much truth be told wasn't a lot

"Lavender her best friend was attacked by a werewolf during the battle and while they did everything, they could she didn't survive the injuries, unfortunately. You know what's the funny part?" asked James Sirius thought he wasn't expecting an answer" The werewolf that killed her turned both my grandfather's friend and attack my uncle."

No one knew what to say because now the color scheme and the name of the shop made sense even the fact that it was in a nonmagical part of the city.

They entered the back room which compared to the first room was quite empty and simple with only a table and chairs. In the middle of the room was also a man that Dudley and the Dursleys thought they would never meet again.

The man had untidy jet-black hair and almond-shaped startlingly green eyes which were hidden behind a pair of glasses he wore wizarding robes and was sitting in one of the chairs looking at the papers in front of him. When he rose after James Sirius coughed, they saw the man was also very tall.

Those who knew who he was were too shocked to speak while the others didn't know what to say.

"Your Harry Potter," said Violet shocked as she looked at the man, she had heard so much of both from people she knew and those she didn't she then blushed when she realized that she was fangirling over the man

Both father and son chuckled at that and the younger man said" Violet meet my dad Harry Potter. Dad Violet, Carter, and Natalie Dursley as well as Natalie's parents."

"Pleasure," said the man

"What are you doing here boy?" said Vernon because while his opinion on magic had changed when it came to his granddaughter hadn't changed when it came to the boy, he had raised

Before he could answer Natalie looked at her parents-in-law, her daughter, and husband and couldn't help but ask" Who are you?"

"My cousin," said Dudley as he looked at the man his cousin had become and then at the boy that he had met so many times now knowing the reason why the boy looked familiar to him 'He is his son.'
