Biggest Mystery Yet

The train jerked and Ron held onto his pets to keep them from falling. He sighed in relief when the train stopped completely, but all of that feeling left when he heard a flop.
He moved his pets to the side and picked up his fallen bag, trying to remember if there was anything important(that could be damaged from the fall) in it. When he couldn't think of anything, he slowly opened it.
Ron groaned at his unfortunate, then thought of something. "Actually... I kinda like it." The white hoddie he had worn on the train and took off to change into his robes had splatters of black ink on it.
He mentally thanked himself for remembering his luck. Which was horrible, by the way. He had put everything in plastic bags so that if the ink spilled, nothing would be ruined. He had been too tired to remember to put the hoodie in the bag his robes were in.
Though, thinking back on it, he should have just put the ink in a bag. "I should get going." He thought putting the hoodie in a bag to dry. At least something good had come out of his stupidity.
He stood and swung the bigger bag over his shoulder once the smaller one was in and it closed. He whistled short and high, and Noir jumped on his right shoulder. He whistled longer, starting high and ending low, and Yuki flew onto his head.
Ron pulled the curtain on the window back down, dust flying everywhere, and exited the compartment.
"First 'ears!" Called a voice. Ron looked over and saw a big man by the water. "First 'ears over 'ere!"
Ron made his way over. And stopped when the voice called again.

"Hey." Hagrid directed at a red headed boy. "Yet shouldn't 'ave ore stuff." Though, truth be told, he was worried that was all the boy had.
"Don't care." The boy whispered and shrugged. "Girls won't leaving me." He gestured to the cat and owl. The owl seemed to puff out her chest and the cat openly hissed at Hagrid. "And this is all i have." He said, lowly. Hagrid knew he was talking about the bag.
Hagrid said nothing else about it.

"Four to a 'oat!" The man called again.
Ron didn't care who joined him, as long as they didn't bother him. He jumped in a boat at the end and tuned everyone out, just listening to ths flow of the lake.
"Probably a half giant." Ron thought to himself, looking down at the crystal black surfuce(sp?). "Definitely not a full one. Somethings off about him, who would be so happy about this job." Ron raised his eyebrows at the jolly man. "He was probably offered the job and took it. Reason? It could be as simple as no one hires half-breeds. Or it could be the biggest mystery yet."
Ron was snapped out of his thoughts when the boat jerked. He hadn't even realise anyone get in with him or the boat start moving. Ron looked over to see Harry, Neville, and Draco getting out of the boat with him.
As soon as he got on land he looked up at Hogwarts. Beauty. Was the only would he could think of. Most say that if it's pretty at night, think of how it will be in daylight. Ron didn't say that though, no. Ron thought everything was prettier at night then at day. Ron just loved the darkness. And Hogwarts reminded him of fairy lights at night, which was the prettiest thing Ron had seen before this.
Ron, once again, was jolted out of his thoughts by a loud knocking. And he turned to see what it was, the Half giant had knocked on a big oak door.
It flung open and stern women appeared. "Thank you, Hagrid. I'll take it from here."
