Night In LoudLousville

It was quiet in LoudLousville as the sun set and everyone headed off to bed as the crickets started chirping away out the window. Lincant and the little Louds slept soundly in their, all the little Louds except for one, Lilith. She is the dark scary sister of the bunch but she does care for her family and loves poetry and vampires, but tonight she couldn't sleep she tossed and turned but nothing worked so she dragged her herself out of bed and wondered around her little city on her side of the room that she shared with Lou. As she walked around she still didn't get tired so she walked to the ladder that lead to her favorite spot the vents, she climbed up the ladder hoping climbing would tire her out; but it didn't because once she reached the vents she walked to a vent where there was a huge notebook, quill pen and a bottle of ink. Lilith was all to familiar with this vent since this was the notebook she used to write her poems. She could fill one whole page with ten poems, so tonight she decided to write a poem. So she took the large quill in her hands, dipped it in the ink and began to write about her inability to sleep.

Sleep

Black as night

Clock is midnight

Skies turn dark blue

How I long for you

Insomnia is nothing but a scheme

I wish to have dark dreams

Sleep
