I never created Fox's Peter Pan and the Pirates.
James Hook glanced from Jasper Hook's smile to the book he read. Scowling, he continued to focus on the book. ''I'm not going to be a pirate now. Even if it is pretend,'' he said. James attempted to forget the toy sword his older brother held. ''Maybe when I finish reading,'' he muttered.
''Captain Jasper Hook orders you to play!''
''Are you going to let me read my book if I'm a pirate for two minutes?''
Jasper nodded. He watched as James placed the book on the bedroom floor. He gave a spare sword to James when the latter stood.
Jasper's weapon clashed with the other sword twice. His eyes remained on James while the latter ducked. ''Very good, little brother.''
James began to glance at the book another time. How could he let the other boy convince him to play instead of reading?
Glowering again, he faced Jasper and lashed out at him. He viewed confusion in Jasper's eyes. He cried out the minute his brother brought his sword down on his wrist. Wincing, he stepped back. His scowl returned.
''Sorry. It was a complete accident,'' Jasper said.
Trembling with anger, James attacked Jasper again. The blade poked Jasper in the eye before he cried out. James smirked and returned to his book.
Years later, Midshipman James Hook glowered when Captain Jasper Hook refused to give him extra gold. He began to battle his older sibling.
Actual swords clashed once more just like the false ones did when they were children.
After Jasper fell, he focused on James with wide eyes. He started to remember when he was poked in the eye as a boy.
The blade descended prior to a shriek.
A past eye poke. The current eye loss.
