I'm back, I wanted to address this story with a great mindset and better skills, both of which I have. I have soooo many ideas, I actually wrote out a whole outline for this story, I never do that. I have a backstory, power scaling, skills, powers, and so many other things... he will be... unique, just wait and see what and why.
His heritage is extremely important and is actually very interesting... the witch part is the boring part... the other part is the fun part.
Sorry for the Delay.
Phoebe smiled at her sister, Piper, as they walked up the stairs to her room. "Okay, Piper, I can't be late getting to the office today. I have a radio interview with those morning guys, Pip and Skeeter."
Piper rolled her eyes at her as they entered the hallway. "That's Skip and Peter. Could you forget about your advice column for two seconds? Come see where we're putting the nursery."
"You're putting it in your closet. I've seen your closet, there's a lot of shoes, honey."
"No, not anymore" Piper said as they walked into Piper's room and into the emptied out closet. "Look, it's perfect."
Leo, Piper's beloved husband, was there making a hole in the wall to fit a window. He was sweating hard, looking all sorts of adorably ruffled making Phoebe smile.
Still, she had her thoughts. " It's a little cramped though, don't you think?"
Leo smiled, proud of himself. " That's why I'm adding a window to bring in the light and create a sense of space."
Together they walked back into Piper's room
Phoebe cooed. "Aww, you guys are very cute but why are you doing all of this now? I mean, your due date is not for months."
Piper sighed. " Well, demon activity has been light, so it's a good time to get ahead."
"Speaking of ahead, I can't believe you guys didn't notice my billboards downtown."
" Oh, honey, of course, we noticed them. You can see them from a passing 747."
They all laughed together.
"We would've told you how proud we are of you, but you never slow down to give us a chance," Leo said.
Phoebe put on a fake smile. "Well, you know, nothing perks up a girl's career like sending her husband straight to hell. Okay, well, I've seen the nursery and it's absolutely beautiful but I really have to go to that interview."
" Uh, honey, I know your work is very important to you but guess what? I'm having a baby."
Phoebe cooed again, her stomach filling with excitement at the reminder. " Aw, I know."
"Yeah, so how about you take a couple of minutes to be Aunt Phoebe."
"Oh my god, you are so right. I'm so sorry. Okay, what do you need?"
"An opinion. Uh, I'm thinking..." Her words were stopped by a sudden swirling of blue orbs and their lovly jingling sound.
Paige formed from the magic and turned to them. "Positions! Bogey in three, two, one... "Suddenly, a demon wearing no shirt and a black and white mask appeared. He blew a dart at Paige with a blowgun and she ducked, it barely missed her. The dart hit a teddy bear and its head shrank.
Piper and Phoebe both gasped. Then Piper flung out her hands, blowing up the demon in a swirl of dark matter.
Paige smirked and started to write something down. "So much for theory that Borneo demons are impervious to magical powers. I can't wait to tell the local witch doctors."
Leo got in the middle, looking worried and annoyed. "Okay, excuse me, can we refrain from blowing up demons in the nursery?"
Piper sighed. "Oh, honey, it was just one."
"Piper, you're going to be a mum, you need to start thinking about the safety of our daughter. "He turned to Paige next." And you, you're getting so caught up with this magical kick, I mean, look at your hair. It's so red from the potion you blew up last night."
Paige gave him a look. " Do you have any idea how much this would cost in the salon?"
Phoebe hugged her sister. " I love your new 'do, honey, I think you look beautiful. Okay, bye." Then ran out of the room.
Paige glimmered with happiness. "Thank you." following her sister out the door.
Piper, sensing an issue, turned to her husband. " Honey, sweets, toots... I appreciate that you're very concerned but I am still a witch and we do still have innocents to protect and demons to fight. I can't just crawl in a hole."
Leo sighed, then stopped, tipping his head to the side. "A charge is calling me... a new one, he's in danger. I have to go." He kissed his wife. "I'll finish he The nursery later." Then orbed away, onward to protect his charge as best he could.

Shaking, Bryce walked away from the Nursing home he had worked in for the last two years. The fear he felt was intense, what he had done was unnatural and strange and... gods what was happening to him. His hands were still glowing that soft grey color, so much so he had to stick them in his hoodie to hide it. Why they were doing this was still a mystery to him, to say he was baffled was such an understatement. Still, he just wished it would stop, the last thing he wanted was to be dissected for having superpowers.
So distracted was he, that Byrce barely noticed the sudden appearance of a man behind him, a silvery knife in his hand and a malicious grin on his face. It was only when the man got close and his shadow crossed Bryce's that the boy looked up and backward, his eyes immediately going to the Silver Knife that glimmered in the morning light. His eyes widened and he started to sprint away, his heavy body slowing him down a lot but damn it he tried. He ran and he ran and he ran, as fast as far as he could. Soon, too soon his lungs and side ached too much and he was forced to stop.
Turning around, searching for his would be attacker, he saw nothing. "Ten blocks, I think he gave up." Shaking, he turned a corner and boom! Ran straight into someone, he had to grab the wall to stop himself from falling. "Sorry, AH!" He called out as he looked up , seeing his attacker and his silver knife somehow in front of him. " How?"
The man smirked, his ugly face oozing excitement. "Who would have guessed, such a power in the hands of a fat, weak mortal boy. Pity... but now it's mine." He jabbed forward, his knife just barely missing Bryce who barely dodged out of the way. Instinctively he raised his hands, maybe to knock the man way or to punch him or something, but his hands were still glowing... and before he knew it they exploded.
Massive light filled the empty street, the man before him shrieked in agony, holding his eyes. "YOU LITTLE SHIT!" He screamed, flailing around with his knife, missing Bryce entirely as the boy started to back up, terrified even more. "I will kill you! I will rip your magic from your body and burn the world with it."
Bryce ran away, in the other direction until once again he slammed into another person. One second they weren't there, then in a swirl of blue he was but Bryce was running too fast to stop. This time he was ready, his hands flailing out and a massive light blasting them once more. The man screamed out, a different man. He was handsome, with dark brown hair and a square middle aged face. Bryce wanted to run away, but the moment he started too the man called out.
Rubbing his eyes, which were seared and red, the man called out. "Bryce, I am not your enemy. My name is Leo, I am here to help you." His words were powerfully desperate, but something in his voice resonated with Bryce. He felt it, a magnetic pull in his chest and somehow he knew Leo was telling the truth.
"A man with a knife is after me, he teleported and was just there... like you. What is going on! First I resuscitated a dead man with this weird light and now I am blinding people." He tried not to sound panicky, but Bryce was terrified. "What is going on, Leo."
"I"ll explain later but we need to go somewhere safe, I think a warlock is after you. Do you trust me?" The man reached out with his hand, and Bryce took it to his own shock.
In an instant, the world swirled blue and white. Time seemed to stretch into infinity... and within what had to be a minute, he found himself in a nice bedroom that smelled of seared wood and dust with a beautiful brown haired women looking at him. "Leo... who's this? What happened to your eyes?" She started, her tone worried as she approached.
Bryce felt another pull, this time towards the woman... or rather, to her stomach. Without meaning to, he blurted out. "Your pregnant!"
The women stopped and turned to him. " How'd you know that?"
"I.. I'm not sure. I just do, I can feel it... like a pull towards your womb and my brain sort of told me what it was. Like instinct I guess..." He cringed, hearing Leo grunting as the man rubbed his eyes. Realizing he felt a buzzing in his hands, a sort of numb glow, an idea blossomed in his mind. Reaching up, he put his hands on Leo's handsome face and his gentle grey light returned. He groaned, nearly collapsed as his own eyes seared horribly, but he did not pull away until he felt the buzzing fade and he knew Leo was healed. Pulling away, he saw the stunned look on Leo's face. " What?"
"You healed me... you are a witch, Witches can't heal, only Whitelighters can."
Sighing, Bryce dropped to the floor and sat on his butt, putting his head in his hands. "What is happening? Someone please tell me."
The woman kneeled down and put her hand on his face. "Honey, I hate to be the one to say it, but like me your a witch. It's a gift, a blessing, one that gives you the power to save a lot of lives."
"Can you do what I can? Heal and make lights blasts and feel pregnancy?"
She chuckled. "No, but I can freeze people and blow things up. My Husband, the man you just healed, he can heal as can my sister... kind of. But she is half whitelighter, which is an angel for your information, so that is part of her power. Witches, pure witches, can't heal... it's just not a power we get. The light thing is a bit odd, but not unheard off... I guess we'll have to see what you can do. Maybe the Book of Shadows, our spell book, has something on you. Wanna check with me?"
He nodded and she helped him off the ground, with him hugging her tight to her shock. " Thank you."
"Not a problem, sweetie... now, let's go check this out."

Piper had a feeling as she looked at his boy, something in her told her he was important and would serve a major role in the years to come. She could just feel it, it burned in her. Like when she met Father Thomas all those years ago. Or when she met Paige, even before she knew her to be her sister she had felt... something. She felt it again, in her soul. "So, what's your name? I'm Piper Halliwell."
"Bryce, Bryce Michael Mathews."
She froze. "Any relation to Paige Mathews?"
He frowned. "Not that I know of... my dad was given his stepdad's name illegally, so my last name should be Hewitt. Why'd you ask?"
"My sister, the half angel, her name is Paige Mathews. I thought you might be cousins."
"Oh..."
They said nothing as they reached the attic, and even less as they reached for the Book. She grabbed it and handed it to the boy, watching for any reaction as he touched it. To her happiness, the book accepted him easily. "Why don't you come with me, we are getting the nursery ready. You can read this while we work."
"Thank you... really... you, you are really amazing. I know this is so weird."
"Not to us, honey, it's pretty typical for this family. Now, come on."
Chapter end, tell me what you think in the reviews.
This was so much fun to write.
Love, your Ninja Overlord,
