March 13th Mission Creek High School (Leo's POV)-

I woke up disoriented on the floor with a giant concrete beam pinning my arm down. I heard some voices across the room. "Help!"

"Dooley!" Perry came running over.

"My arm's pinned underneath the beam." Once I started putting everything together I started to feel the pain. It came slowly but it was there. Douglas came over and tried lifting the bean but nothing worked.

"I got this, Dougie. I once lifted a car off a guy's leg. It was the least I could do since I ran him over." Perry explained. She tried lifting the beam and to her credit it did move a bit but she wasn't able to lift it enough. "Oh! Oh, tough to get a grip. My hands keep slipping on what I hope is red paint."

"The firemen are here. I'll go get them." Douglas ran out the door to grab the firemen.

"Okay, I'll stay here and take care of Dooley." She stopped trying to lift the beam and it dropped onto my arm sending a shooting pain.

"Aah!" I winced.

"Oh, I feel so helpless. What to do? What to do? Think, Terry, think." Perry for whatever reason sat down on the beam adding to the pain. Soon it was so bad it was all I could focus on.

"AAAAAH!" I screamed in pain as she sat down.

"Sorry, sorry." She got up and began to pace. I groaned in pain. "Shh. I'm thinking!"

Mission Creek Hospital (No one's POV)-

"They said Leo had some sort of accident. Is he okay?" Tasha entered the hospital with a government agent following close behind.

"He's hurt pretty bad, but he's resting now. Don't worry. I'm making sure they take good care of our precious Leo." Perry explained.

"Our precious Leo?" Tasha asked dryly.

"Yeah, we almost died together. That bonds us. It's like me and the guys I fought with overseas." Perry continued.

"You were in the military?" Tasha asked incredulously.

"No, I was a street fighter in Bangkok." Perry explained and Tasha nodded as that was more fitting.

"That's it, I cannot wait anymore. Where is my son?" Tasha asked anxiously.

"He's right over there." Perry said pointing behind her.

Tasha walks over and pulls the curtain, revealing an empty hospital bed. "He's gone."

"My baby!" Both women cried.

Davenport House (Bree's POV)-

"Agent Graham, you have to let us go to the hospital to see Leo." Chase begged, Tasha had been escorted out after we found out Leo had been hospitalized. We had no clue what had happened since we've been kept here all morning. Chase was getting more anxious because we hadn't seen Maddie since the raid and she was with Leo. They wouldn't tell us if she was in the hospital or not because technically we aren't family.

"Yeah, we don't even know what happened to him." I fought, Leo was our brother and he could be dying but no, this is more important. Notice the sarcasm.

"Yeah, he's injured. And this isn't funny like all the times I hurt Chase." Adam continued but I don't think he was helping our case much.

"You're not going anywhere. Military transport will be here any second. You have seen the last of your friend and each other." I have never wanted to punch someone more than this guy.

"Agent Graham, please don't take them, take me. I'm obviously the brilliant mastermind, the brains behind the brawn, the smart behind the heart." Mr. Davenport tried and honestly it made me laugh.

"Even when he's begging, he finds a way to gloat." I smiled.

"Go ahead, ask me anything. I bet you're wondering how a 43-year-old continues to defy Father Time." We all saw were this would go.

"This is happening, whether you like it or not. And for the record, Father Time caught up with you long before we did." Graham said and Davenport looked offended.

...

"Transport's here." Graham announced.

"Shotgun!" Adam jumped up but was immediately tackled by two agents.

"You know, every now and then, life just gives you a little gift." Chase smiled a bit.

"Hurry up and say your good-byes." Graham groaned.

"I can't believe this. We're never gonna see each other again." I said holding back tears.

"You guys are gonna be okay." Davenport tried.

"You don't know that." Chase fought.

"I know, that's just something you say, you know. What do you want me to say? You're doomed? I mean, obviously, they're gonna conducts experiments on you with probes and-" He kept going making us all more anxious.

"Okay, okay. We get it." I cut him off.

"Look, I know I didn't give you guys a normal childhood, but I hope I at least gave you a happy one." He said sincerely.

"Of course, you did." Chase said with a sad smile.

"Yeah, we can't imagine having a better dad." I added.

"Oh, I can. Guy who is half Tom Brady, half golden retriever. I'd call him...Golden Brady." Adam said as a joke and I actually smiled a bit.

"I love you, guys." He pulled the three of us into a hug. I felt safe for a moment before it was ripped away.

"All right, that's enough. Get them out of here." The agents started pulling us apart and leading us to the door.

"You know what? No, you can't do this. I'm not going." Adam shrugged the agents grip away.

"You heard me. Move!" Graham commanded.

"I said no! Get off of me!" A agent tried grabbing Adam but he threw them off.

"Get the tranquilizer guns." Graham yelled.

"No!" Davenport exclaimed. Chase used his molecular kinesis to send the tranquilizer guns across the room.

"That's it, take them all down!" Graham said but Adam used his blast wave ability to take them all out.

"What now?!" I asked.

"Run!" We all ran out of the house probably for the last time.

Krane Warehouse (Leo's POV)-

"Where am I?" I woke up, laying against a leaning platform. "Wait. This is Krane's warehouse. Help! Help! Somebody help, please!"

Douglas ran over. "Leo, calm down, calm down."

"Where is he? Where is Krane?" I asked nervously.

"He abandoned this place a while ago. The guy's got hideouts everywhere. You should see his torture chamber in Palm Beach. It's gorgeous." Douglas praised.

"Why am I strapped down? Why am I here?" I asked again.

"I had to bring you here. It was the only place I knew with the necessary equipment." He explained vaguely.

"Equipment for what?"

"Take the bandage off." I listened and unwrapped it from my arm.

I was shocked. "It's completely healed. But how?"

"Go ahead, pretend like you're throwing a ball." Douglas smiled.

"Is this really the time to make fun of how uncoordinated I am?" I asked dryly.

"Just do it." I listened and as I threw a laser sphere appeared in my hand and shot out.

"What did you do?" I asked in shock.

"Congratulations, Leo. You're bionic. I threw in some self-defense upgrades, since, you know, you are pretty much the weak link. Your fingers generate laser spheres. And the arm's got bionic strength, so you may wanna shake hands lefty from now on, or maybe just curtsy." He teased me.

"This is awesome!" I threw my arms up but accidentally shot out a laser sphere. I thought about the accident when I remembered. "Where's Maddie?!"

"Leo, she was gone before any of us recovered."

(Maddie's POV)-

I woke up on the floor in a dark cell with a raging headache but as far as I could tell no major injuries. That's nice.

"Ahh, you are finally awake. Welcome home." A creepy scientist said happily.

"Who the hell are you?" I groaned not leaving my spot on the ground.

"You really don't recognize me? Well that hurts. I thought we were closer than that... subject 9264." He smirked and the memories of his lab and my powers flooded back.

"You!" I charged at the door slamming against it, he did flinch a bit.

"You've returned!" He said happily.

"You're insane."

"What looks like insanity to some is genius to others." He said waving me off.

"Or you're just insane."

"Well is that anyway to speak to the man who saved you?" He asked.

"You did not save me." I fought.

"On the contrary. Krane came to me asking for help to make his bionic technology stronger, including the triton app. I told him I'd do it only if you were returned to me safe and sound." He explained like he was proud of himself.

"Sure you did. Now what do you want with me?" I groaned.

"I want my daughter."

"You mean you want me to capture her or something?" I asked.

"No 9264. Why would I do that when she's right in front of me." He smiled menacingly.

"Like I said, you're insane." I said fighting what I could tell was true. "You cut me open and ripped a part of my life away from me, how can you say you're my father?"

"I created you." Before he could continue there was a large explosion and I watched from inside my cell as he got blown across the room.

Krane stormed in and ripped the cell door out of the wall. "You're coming with me." I didn't try to fight him but I did look back to see the scientist, my father bleeding out on the ground.

Mission Creek Hospital (Chase's POV)-

We had made it to the hospital but there were government agent here looking for us so we were all hiding. Adam and I are currently hiding on a cot under some blankets.

"Yay, new water bowl for the kitties. Aw! Poor guy. I wonder if there's any jewelry." I could tell it was Perry and smacked her arm away when she went to grab the sheet.

"Aah! Zombie!" Perry starts hitting the cot with a bedpan. Adam and I came out from the blanket to stop her.

"Ow! Stop it! It's us!" Adam exclaimed.

"Oh, thank goodness. Why did you scare me like that?" She started hitting us again.

"Stop, stop, stop. We don't have much time. Mr. Davenport and Bree are hiding outside. How's Leo? Is Maddie here?" I asked.

"Well, we thought he was gonna be okay, but then, we lost him." She said.

"What?!"

"Oh, sorry, he's not dead, just missing." She explained.

"Oh. What about Maddie?"

"She was gone before we woke up. We think Krane took them, so 50-50."

"Wait, Krane is behind all of this?" She nodded. "We have to find Maddie and Leo."

"Search that corridor." Graham called from outside the hallway.

"Five-o! Five-o!" She rushed to cover us with the sheet and Adam and I stayed quiet.

"Hi." Perry said presumably to the agents.

"Ma'am, have you seen a pasty, middle-aged man traveling with three kids?" Graham asked.

"Can't say that I have, but I'll help you look." She said slowly and it was hard to hold back the gag.

"Oh, excuse me." I could hear his footsteps walking away.

"Yes! Works every time!" Adam and I came out of the sheet when it was clear. "Get down!" Perry said hitting us with the bedpan again.

"Ow! Ow!"

Krane's Warehouse (Leo's POV)-

"Come on, Douglas, we should get out of here." I tried pulling him away from whatever he was doing but he wouldn't budge.

"Yeah, just give me five more minutes. I just want to find some evidence that'll get Krane locked up for good. Aha! Blueprints!... To add a second bathroom." He groaned.

"Come on." I pulled him to the door only to find Krane, S-1, S-7, and Maddie in the way.

"Aah!" Douglas and I shrieked.

"What is it gonna take to finally get rid of you?" Krane asked Douglas.

"Well, now that you mention it, we were just leaving." Douglas tried. My eyes fell to Maddie who S-7 was holding and her hands were in cuffs. She was waiting for the right moment.

"Don't move." Krane growled.

"How did you find us?" He asked,

"I'm always one step ahead of you." Krane smiled, if you could ever call that a smile.

"Yeah? Well, let's see you stay one step ahead of this" I tried firing a laser sphere at them but missed. "Ha! Oops."

"You gave the kid bionics, too?" Krane asked.

"You have got to be kidding me." Maddie groaned.

"Well, it wasn't easy." Douglas exclaimed. "You have to attach bionics to muscle, and, well..."

"Let's do this already." S-1 said.

"All right, bring it, cupcake. You're about to meet my new bionic friend." I flexed my left arm.

"Other hand, Leo." Douglas whispered.

"My new bionic friend." I flexed my right arm.

Krane suddenly blasted Douglas across the room and Maddie used the distraction to step around S-7 and pull her handcuffs around his neck.

"Aah! Not the ribs again! Would it kill you to spread the pain around?" Douglas cried.

I started rapid firing at S-1. "It'd be so much easier to hit you if you would just stop moving."

S-7 threw Maddie off of him and she landed hard against the ground but she got up quickly and used one of my stray blasts to break the cuffs. She found and old pipe and proceeded to use it as a bo staff as the two continued to fight.

"Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Try that with my right hand. I dare you." I said to S-1 as she grabbed my left arm and pulled it against my back. She threw me across the room to land next to Douglas. Maddie followed quickly as S-7 threw her right at me and she crashed into me.

"I'm so sorry, guys. This is all my fault." Douglas apologized as I was groaning.

"If you're waiting for an "It's okay, don't worry about it," it's not coming." Maddie said for the both of us.

I looked up to see Adam, Bree, Chase, and Big D rush in, they're okay.

"Leo!" Big D called.

"Maddie!" Chase smiled.

"And Douglas!" Douglas exclaimed.

"Leo, are you okay?" Big D asked as they rushed over to us.

"I'd be alright if I didn't have to see that." We all looked over to see Chase and Maddie sucking each others faces off.

"Doing fine here, too. Thanks." Douglas added not appreciating the lack of attention.

"That's the girl that filmed us." Chase said as he noticed S-1.

"Let them go." Big D commanded.

"Oh-oh, I'm not letting any of you go." Krane fought.

We all got up and got in a position to fight and Krane and his soldiers did the same.

"Wait!" Adam stopped and walked up to S-1. "I don't think we've met. I'm Adam." She punched him and sent him across the room.

"She's bionic." Chase said dating the obvious.

"And has super strength." Bree added.

"Hey, you wouldn't be interested in making a trade, would you?" Adam asked Krane, gesturing to Chase. Maddie pulled Adam back and rolled her eyes.

"You sure you want to do this? Five against three, hardly seems fair." Chase tried.

"You mean six against three." I added stepping up.

"Oh, come on. What am I, invisible here?" Douglas groaned. Krane laughed as he sent out a shock wave that sent all of us to the ground.

"What do you say, I start with you?" Krane lifted Big D off the ground, choking him in the process before dropping him again. Me, Adam, Bree, Chase, and Maddie got off the floor.

"Bree, you got this?" Adam pushed Bree towards S-1. "Good, thanks."

As I watched to figure out where I should make my move, Bree took on S-1, Maddie fought S-7 again this time exploiting more of his weaknesses, and Adam and Chase went after Krane.

"Too bad this is the last time I see you guys. Your brother's kinda cute." S-1 said to Bree as they fought.

"Adam?" Bree asked as they paused for a second.

"No. The other one." Bree blocked her punch and kicked her.

"Chase?" S-1 nodded. "I wouldn't let Maddie hear you say that."

I found an opening with S-1 so I tried hitting her." Now I got her." I threw the sphere but hit Krane and knocked him out. "Okay, I'll take it.

"Mr. Krane!" S-1 and S-7 ran over to check on him but Bree kicked S-1's feet out from under her and knocked her out with a kick to the head. Maddie waited till his back was to her and did her spinney thing to climb onto his shoulders then used her momentum to flip him over and summersaulted into a standing position before she hit the ground.

"Did you see that? When did Leo learn how to throw?" Adam said completely unfazed by Maddie's move.

"I can't believe you gave bionics to Leo." Big D chastised Douglas.

"Yeah, well it saved your life." Douglas fought.

"No, it didn't. Tasha is gonna kill me!" he wasn't wrong. The agents swarmed into the ware house this time surrounding all of us.

"Okay, guys, round them up. Use your tranquilizer guns if you have to." Graham commanded.

"Wait! You're arresting the wrong people. This is the man you want, Victor Krane. He's a sociopath who's been implanting himself with bionics, and now, he's turned them into bionic soldiers. If you don't stop him now, he could create more and have an entire army." Douglas explained.

"And you are?" Graham asked,

"Douglas Davenport. There's no official record of me because I faked my own death." We all looked at him and gave him looks to stop talking. "But I'm very credible."

"All right! Take these two into custody." Graham said surprisingly.

"I don't think so!" Krane attempted to fire a blast at Graham, but Bree super sped Graham out of the way, and Adam used his heat vision on Krane, knocking him back to the floor.

"You...saved me. Thanks." Graham said in disbelief.

"You're welcome. Like we keep telling you, we help people." Bree said passive aggressively.

"Restrain these two before they wake up." Graham commanded.

"Here, use these to cuff 'em." Douglas pulled out his bionic destabilizing cuffs. "They've got a bionic signal interrupter."

"Why would you have these?" Graham asked and we all didn't know what to answer without getting Douglas in trouble.

"Uh...I help people, too." He said sheepishly.

March 20th Davenport House (Maddie's POV)-

We were at the Davenport house waiting for Adam, Bree, and Chase's press conference to start. They invited me but I didn't really feel like dressing up or being there to stop the fight that would inevitably break out between the three.

"That beam weighed hundreds of pounds, and there's not even a scar. How is that possible?" Tasha asked and I laughed but she ignored me.

"Well, first, I used a..." Leo sent Douglas a look that said do not speak another word.

"I moisturize." Leo lied. Someone knocked at the door and Tasha went to grab it. "She will freak out. Do not tell her I'm bionic." Leo said to Douglas and I, for like the twentieth time this week.

"Principal Perry, come on in. And for the first time, I actually mean it." Tasha smiled.

"Just came to check on my little fella." Perry said, please tell me she's not talking about Leo.

"Aw." Leo smiled.

"Not you." She walked past Leo and shoved him back onto the couch. "This little fella. I brought you a gift from the hospital to make you feel better." She said to Douglas and I could barely contain my laughter at this point.

""Get well, Grandma"?" He asked as he read what was written on the balloon.

"Yeah, it didn't work for her, but maybe it will bring you some luck." Perry explained.

"Oh, hey, guys, the press conference is starting." Tasha turned on the TV and we watched Adam, Bree, Chase, Davenport, and Graham on stage.

"The rumors you've been hearing are true. There are bionic humans living among us. But after a thorough investigation, I, agent Graham, that's with an "H", have determined they are not to be feared. They are just like us." Graham explained, man he sucks.

"Hi. I'm Chase. This is my brother, Adam, and my sister, Bree. And yes, we are bionic super humans. For years, we've been going on top-secret missions." Chase explained taking his spot at the podium.

"Yeah, remember that runaway train full of nuclonium that almost blew up Welkerville? That was us." Adam said and the crowd gasped. I let my head fall into my hands. Were they even prepared for this?

"No, no, no, we didn't cause it, we stopped it." Chase said, fixing Adam's mistake.

"You didn't know about these missions because we weren't sure if the world was ready for us, but now that our secret's out-" Bree said gracefully but Adam cut in.

"Let's get to know me. I enjoy long walks on the beach, eating stuff, and punching this guy." He said punching Chase.

"Ow! Why do you always do that?" Chase groaned. I knew this wasn't going anywhere so I got off the couch and went to grab a water bottle.

"Were you not listening, it's what I like to do." Adam explained.

"That's it." Chase said before he did something to fight back, I assume. The boys continued to fight as Graham tried to stop them.

"So...Any questions?" Bree asked, trying to save the press conference. Tasha just settled on turning of the TV.

" Enough of this junk. Let's see if there's a romantic comedy on, like, maybe something about a rugged bad-boy inventor and his suburban ginger-haired princess with legs that just won't quit." Perry put her leg on top of Douglas's before he pushed it off.

"Why don't I just give you the remote?" Tasha said, trying to get away from Perry.

"About time." Perry groaned.

"Good luck with that, Dougie." Tasha to her brother in-law before joining me in the kitchen.

"Hey, Principal Perry. I just want to say thanks for looking out for me." Leo said to Perry.

"Yeah, yeah. I'll admit maybe I care for you a little bit. Put her there, Dooley." Perry offered her hand and Leo shook it with his bionic hand forgetting about his new strength. Perry shrieked in pain.

"Not that hand!" Douglas exclaimed as Tasha ran over.

"Aah!" Perry's hand was throbbing and red.

"Did someone give my son bionics?" Tasha asked in rage. I'm glad I'm on her good side.

"I can explain." Douglas said but pushed Leo in front of him. "But it'd be better coming from him." He ran out the front door.

Conference Hall (Chase's POV)-

"Well, that went well. All right, guys, get ready. As soon as you walk out the door, your lives are gonna change forever. It's about time you guys got credit for all the good that you do." Mr. Davenport smiled.

"Thank you, Mr. Davenport, but we'll always be a four-person team." I said to him and meant it.

Graham entered the room coming to talk with us, "Oh, Agent Graham, I just want to thank you for letting the kids come home and hearing us out."

"Actually, I'm the one who should be thanking you. Without you, we wouldn't be in control of the ultimate weapon." What?

""We", what do you mean "we"?" Mr. Davenport asked.

"You're not in charge of these three anymore. This is my show now. From this point forward, they work for me." Graham said seriously.

This is gonna suck.
