Check out Naomi's Gift, Melione's Curse by MikaRauch on Wattpad to see an awesome Original Story I am writing. This one comes with a lot of gods from all sorts of myths.

I am writing another epic story called Heirs to Misfortune on Wattpad as well, so check that out too.

And finally, a Hades/Persephone love story called A Dance Among Equals.

P.S. I just got Grammarly, which is really helping my spelling, grammar, and word choice so I hope you notice improvement...

Bryce is supposed to be the Anti Phoebe/foil to Phoebe in a way... passive powers but a struggle to fight physically due to natural pacifism... I hope it comes clear.

His Romantic partner has been chosen and has a lot of his story.

"Wow, this is a lot," Bryce said as they watched the T.V. and saw the rainstorm outside. It was intense, scary, and amazing.

Piper clearly saw the same as him and turned off the T.V. then turned to Mylie the Mermaid. "Now the book says that the sea hag has power over her natural environment, would that be, like, rainstorms?"

Mylie nodded." Yeah. Rainstorms, hurricanes..."

"Hurricanes?"

"Even tidal waves."

Piper started to panic. "Leo, she said tidal waves. How far do tidal waves travel?"

Leo pulled her away. "Excuse us." Bryce watched Piper and Leo talk, feeling a rush of pain ooze from them both but mainly Piper. It felt strange, almost sour though he wasn't sure what that meant. Too new to his power to really tell a darn thing.

After a minute Leo teleported away, just as The front door opens and Paige walked in with a man.

"Hey." He said as soon as he looked at Mylie, a smile and a worried look mixing onto his face.

Mylie looked overjoyed. " You came."

Craig, cause it was clearly Craig her lover, made a strange sound. " Yeah, Paige told me your life was in danger. What's going on?"

"I really need to know how you feel about me."

" I can't believe we're back on this. What, are you two in on this joke or what?"

Paige leaned in." It's no joke, you have to tell her how you feel about her, her life depends on it.

Craig looked annoyed. " What is this? The delusional girls club? Come on. Tell me what's happening."

Mylie looked hurt, almost as hurt as she felt. " I can't."

"You can't? You yank me out of a business meeting, your friend ambushed me at the airport, I miss my plane and you can't tell me why?"

"No.

"You know what, I'm outta here." He starts to leave.

"Craig wait. You wanna know what I'm hiding from you? Okay." Mylie took the flowers out of a vase and sits on the couch."

Piper looked horrified. "Mylie? No, don't!"

Mylie tipped the vase water onto her legs and her legs turned into a mermaid tail, beautiful and golden. "Please don't be afraid. It's still me."

Craig backed away, frightened. "What are you? Geez."

As He raced out the door, a cold gust of wind blew in the living room. A rush of energy filled the room, Bryce groaned and water rushed from nowhere, warping until it turned into what had to be the Sea Hag. Bryce threw himself in front of Mylie, his hands tingling with light. He was terrified, but damn it he would care for this girl that was so freaking nice.

Paige called out. "Did you find a vanquishing spell? Piper, freeze her."

Piper threw her hands out, but nothing happened. " I can't."

The sea hag, a ball of water forming in her hand, threw the water ball at Paige who was surrounded by a tunnel of water in a flash. The sea bitch threw another ball of water, this time at Piper who ducked behind the couch. Then she turned to Mylie and stepped forward. Bryce threw out his hands, and light exploded from them.

"AHHH!" The hag screamed, holding her hands over her eyes. "I WILL KILL YOU!"

Realizing he had no offensive power, Bryce tapped into all of his poetic knowledge and skill and hoped for the best. "Evil had in my sight, I banish with you with heat and light. You cannot have her immorality, now leave us in the name of humanity." His words echoed and the women screamed, writhing in agony, her watery body starting to hiss with rapid steam before, to his shock, exploding into mist and droplets of water that covered everything.

He fell to his knees, the world swirling grey. "OW." He muttered, trying to refocus.

He heard a thud and knew from the smell and sound that it was Mylie. Her cold arms wrapped around him. "Thank you... she's not dead but you hurt her badly. I can feel her, she's still alive.

There was a splash and they both turned around, seeing a stunned and soaked Paige looking at them in shock. "You made a spell up, you just learned you were a witch."

He laughed, ignoring the headache forming. "I'm a writer and poet, it wasn't hard."

After Paige dressed and Phoebe returned to the house, they all sat down in the conservatory and looked at a very tired-looking Piper. Phoebe, oozing annoyance, leaned towards her. "What happened, we almost lost our innocent. If it wasn't for Bryce, a newbie witch, she would have taken Mylie."

Piper shuddered. "I don't know. I think I had a panic attack. I couldn't breathe or move."

"Okay, but she almost took our innocent."

"Let's give Piper a break, okay." Leo said, his tone defensive and worried.

Piper shook her head. "No, she's right, I froze up, Mylie's gone and it's my fault."

"No, it's not your fault. It's your hormones. Your maternal instincts are kicking in."

Paige snarked, "More like taking over."

Leo sighed. " It's natural for a mother to feel protective of her baby."

Phoebe looked at him. "But she's been handling demons ever since she got pregnant. Why the sudden change today?"

Something in Bryce's body ached, like when your legs hurt and you had to move or do something to ease the pain. Without thinking Bryce stood up and pulled Piper into a hug that seemed to stun her. "I can feel your pain, your in so much of it... I wish I could help." Then he started to glow that same soft grey as before and before he knew it, he felt deep, soul deep agony flow into him. The world swayed and he collapsed, trying to remember his name.

He felt Leo's hands on his face, and he was pulled up. "How'd you do that, only Elders have that power?" The man muttered, as they locked eyes he knew it had to do with his unique bloodline.

Somehow, the answer came to Bryce. "My healing, it works with emotional injuries too I guess. I have this instinct I think, to help heal people. I felt it after I saw you rubbing your burned eyes from my light... and I felt it before with Mylie when I took her pain." Shaking his head, he turned back to Piper. "I hope that helps..."

She sniffled. "It did, honey, it really did. Thank you."

"Okay, his weird powers aside, we need to do something to help Mylie. What did you get on the sea hag?" Paige asked, her tone light. "Like Mylie said, she's not dead, she's still out there."

Piper recovered quickly. " There's a vanquishing spell, power of three, I, I have it somewhere."

Paige nodded. Okay, what about a location? Did the book say where we can find her?" All Piper did was shrug.

Leo stepped in. " The Elders say she keeps a cavern on a remote island. She keeps it hidden with charms and spells. The only way to track her is with a mermaid, but that would endanger Mylie."

Bryce smiled. " Maybe she can still help? I mean if she's been there, she can at least tell us that location or give us enough to cast as spell to find the Hag, right?"

Paige nodded with a smile. "Your getting good at this, a natural witch indeed." He laughed. "All jokes aside, we need to get Craig. The Hag will always be a threat if Mylie has her immortality."

Leo nodded. " Alright, I'll find Craig."

"Try the airport, he was headed to New York."

Leo nodded, then orbed out.

Piper started to move away. " I'll try to locate the sea hag."

Phoebe shook her head. "Oh, honey, I'm sorry, I might've been pushing too hard. Why don't you let me and Paige worry about the sea hag?

"No, 'cause I've got to..."

"Rest. If not for your sake then for my niece. All this stress can't be good. Whatever Bryce did help but you still need rest."

Paige nodded. "She's right."

Piper walked over to the couch in that room and laid down, her heart clearly breaking. Bryce wanted to help her, more than anything, but he just had no idea what to do...

"I'll stay with Mylie, watch over her. I have a little bit of defensive power so I can protect her if I need to." He stood up and smiled. "The book said witches protect the innocents, right? I think I'll like being a witch then. I always wanted to help people."

Paige gave him a warm smile. "You're a good kid, you know that? "

"I try... hey, the Hag knows how to get here right? Why not protect it so she can't. I mean injured or not, if she takes Mylie's immortality she would be healed, right?"

The girls nodded. "That's a good idea...hey you did well with the banishing spell... wanna see if you can make a protection spell for the house?" Paige asked, her eyebrows raised for the challenge.

Biting his lip, Bryce, considered his words. "Powers above, I call to thee. Protection on this house, that is my plea. Protect this mermaid, who seeks true love. Wash over this house with all the magic from above?" he said the words, his tone curious and hopeful. Then, to his shock, light particles danced across the roof, twinkling like rain and Christmas lights that exploded and sank into every wall, door, and window they could all see. It was amazing and he could feel it's power. Undeniable, like a magnetic pull on his very skin.

Paige started clapping. " Well done... that should keep her out. I think you are going to be one hell of a witch. " Then she, with Phoebe, hurried upstairs to start on a way to kill the Hag for good.

Before they left the room, Phoebe turned to him. "Magic can be tiring, help yourself to the kitchen. You really did good."

As for Bryce, a wave of exhaustion hit him and he realized that maybe she had the right idea. A snack sounded like a damn good idea...
