Check out Naomi's Gift, Melione's Curse by MikaRauch on Wattpad to see an awesome Original Story I am writing. This one comes with a lot of gods from all sorts of myths.

I am writing another epic story called Heirs to Misfortune on Wattpad as well, so check that out too.

And finally, a Hades/Persephone love story called A Dance Among Equals.

P.S. I just got Grammarly, which is really helping my spelling, grammar, and word choice so I hope you notice improvement...

In a distant castle, hidden by magic, an elderly man cleaned an ancient mirror with a delicate hand. As he rubbed, a woman appeared before him, blonde and middle-aged, she sneered at him. "Aren't you dead yet?"

The Old man laughed. "Ha, still so bitter after all these centuries. Some things never change." He turned and saw his apprentice, a young Indian boy, rubbing a set of glass slippers with more force than he ought to. " Careful, my boy, those are not just symbols, they're pieces of history."

His apprentice nodded. "I understand."Then he put the slipper back onto the stand, which said Cinderella underneath it.

"Never forget the power of every fairy tale emanates from each of these." Unbeknownst to the man, behind him the nail that held up the mirror began to fall out of its hole, sliding closer and closer to the ground. "Their magic continues to shape every child born, even to this day. Which makes the task of preserving and protecting them much greater. " He turned, finally hearing the mirror as it finally fell from its place. " No, the mirror! Don't let it fall!"

To his horror, the mirror smashed against the hard castle floor causing a white light-filled mist to float out from it. out of it. The mist gathered, forming into the Women from the Mirror. She turned to him, smirking. " Thanks so much. I thought I'd never get out of there." With strength far greater than her size should have allowed, she grabbed the man by his throat. "This is the way to begin a story." Blood oozed from puncture wounds caused by her nails, and then she dropped him like garbage.

She then turned to the Apprentice, who looked confused and afraid. "Who are you?"

"Little rusty on your fairy tales I see. Evil witch, magic mirror, speaks only the truth. Perhaps this would help. Freedoms lost must be unwitting, into the glass to do my bidding." She watched as White light shot from the mirror, collecting the boy and pulling him into the mirror, which was whole once more. With one hand, she used her magic to lift the mirror back into place. Approaching it, she saw the boy in the mirror, looking confused. " Now, amuse me. Not that you have any choice. Mirror, mirror on the wall. Who is the most powerful witch of all."

The magic kicked in, and the Apprentice turned to her. "You're much stronger than most witches it's true... but there are Four witches more powerful than you!"

The Wicked Witch watched as four images formed, showing four witches. A beautiful brown-haired woman reading fairy tales. A confident woman of great beauty working over a computer. A red-haired, fair-skinned beauty working on a potion. A boy, overweight but cute sending blasts of light as a handsome man

Anger overflowed within her heart. "We'll see about that."

"Focus on the magic, work on compressing it. Light magic isn't just for blinding people, if you gather it into a ball you can actually blast people and knock them aside." Cole gathered his own power into an energy ball, demonstrating the magic for Bryce to mimic. "I can't control light so freely as a whitelighter can. I am not even sure you can do it, but if you can you should be able to mimic energy balls. Your light is only a blinder now, if you can do this you should get an attack that can ward off anyone who comes after you for your healing powers."

Nodding, Bryce focused as hard as he could, summoning his light into his palms. It wasn't hard to summon the light, weeks of training with Cole had turned it into second nature at this point, but focusing it into a ball, molding it beyond just blasts of light... that was an entirely different ballpark. He felt the strain, like trying to use a muscle after overstressing it. His head ached from the focus, but he tried.

To his amazement, the magic actually worked... sort of. Instead of creating a massive blast of light, it gathered into loose free-floating energy that was the size of his torso. He couldn't get it to focus enough to turn into an energy ball, not yet anyway. "It isn't an energy ball, yet, but if I can focus it some more I can at least make a nightlight... and maybe I can make a ball that explodes. Should be useful against Vampires from what I studied."

Cole laughed. "Yes, it should." The man stepped forward, putting his hands on Bryce's, a shock and flood of pain washed through him. He always felt pain when Cole touched him, his power to take the pain from others just loved Cole's pain and drank it up freely whenever they made contact. He could never stop it, just reduce the flow. However he enjoyed it, the sheer relief in Cole's eyes and stance made it worth it. More than that, there was a sense of pleasure that came to him with Cole's comforting touch.

Smiling, Bryce leaned into the touch, allowing himself to enjoy the contact. He had come to realize that Cole was a touchy person, at least with him. Cole loved to show affection, and boy did he have a lot to show. "As always, thank you for helping me."

"You've made amazing progress. You can heal on demand and know your limit of five minutes of healing magic, control your pain channeling so you can make contact with others, are able to focus your pain-sensing enough to discover specific ailments, and can teleport without getting too tired so long as you don't teleport too frequently... all within three weeks of education. You have even shown massive improvement in potion making and hand-to-hand combat. You're not burning or overcooking your potions and you can go through a set of strikes both with a sword and with just your body for three minutes before you get too tired. You've lost ten pounds! Really, I have to admit, I am very, very proud of you."

The boy flushed a deep red, nodding. "Thanks, I try... so... what... " He groaned, stumbling. Cole caught him, looking at him cautiously. "I... I feel pain, it's distant and... close. Like we are being watched. I can't explain it." He shuddered, his hand coming to his throat which suddenly burned like nails were digging into his skin. "It feels like a hand is wrapped around my throat."

"No one's here, but maybe you are feeling a far away being, someone whose pain you are meant to help."

"Maybe... I can't focus on it though, it feels sort of fuzzy, like looking at a drawing instead of a picture. I can't really push myself towards it..." Sighing, he looked back up and Cole. "I have a feeling our peaceful time is at an end. We haven't had a demon attack in three weeks... since the Sea Hag."

"All the more reason to work on your combat, prepare yourself for the evils to come. Now, let's work on your light balls. I can't always be near you to protect you."

"Fine... I just hope it's nothing."

Bryce, freshly showered and done with his training at Cole's, teleported out to the Manor. As he appeared in a swirl of light, he was stunned to see the legendary Grams hugging Piper, her body entirely solid.

"But wait, I still don't understand. Who summoned you?" Piper said, her words filled with confusion. Then her eyes caught him. "How did your training go, hun?"

He smiled, thinking of Cole always made him smile. "It went wonderful, Cole is trying to teach me to make energy balls from my light powers so I have a more offensive power." He turned to the legend. "You must be Grams, it is an honor! The sisters told me all about you, and so did Cole."

Grams smiled. "Well, consider me flattered. You must be Bryce. I've heard about you, the Witch who can heal... Patty, that's my daughter, said you had a real talent for the craft."

He flushed. "My turn to be flattered...what are you doing here, Ms. Halliwell?"

"Call me Grams, dear. You live with my girls and you are using your powers to monitor Piper's pregnancy, I think you've earned that much at least."

"Grams it is then."

"As for how I am here...well we were just thinking about that."

Leo had the answer. " The baby?"

Piper turned to him. " No. You think?"

"Maybe you tapped into her powers somehow and made your wish come true."

"Aw, you wished for me? Why?"

"Because I need help, I need your advice. I need to know how to get ready for this baby."

"Oh, well, that's easy. Now, let's see. Have you been exercising your powers daily?"

"Do I need to?"

"Well, you know, only if you don't want to lose control of them. Did you perform a ritual to promote growth?"

"Uh..."

"Did you cast a spell to ward off demonic parasites? Sweetheart, what did you do

Seeing and feeling Piper's pain, the boy stepped forward. " Grams, I checked the book for anything pregnancy related. None of what you said is in there... so perhaps instead of making her feel bad, you can teach her what you know and record it in the Book since this is clearly something passed on through Mother and Child?"

The woman held her hand to her chest. "I never considered that my death would have come at a greater cost, but you're not wrong... I taught Patty and she should have taught the girls. I guess we will have to start now and make sure you know these things too in case you ever have a child."

Together they walked into the Foyer just as Paige came down the stairs. Paige saw Grams and smirked. "Oh, my goodness, don't tell me you're already interviewing nannies." She laughed a little.

"Paige. You're even more beautiful than I imagined."

"And you are?"

"Why, I'm your Grams of course. Come here." She then hugged Paige, who looked deeply uncomfortable.

"No offense, but, uh, aren't you supposed to be dead?"

"Oh, I'm over that. Look at you, I mean you're absolutely gorgeous. You have my mother's eyes. Oh, she was a real looker too. I bet you have plenty of boyfriends, right?"

"Actually, not a problem I'm having right now, Mrs. Halliwell."

"Oh, please, call me Grams. Even Bryce is calling me Grams."

It was then that a crash drew their attention to a massive ax wielding man tearing through the conservatory wall. Everyone was too stunned to move but Bryce's training with Cole kicked in. Without waiting he flashed a light into the man's eyes, making him scream and recoil, giving Bryce the chance to act. Lashing out, he kicked the man's knee, forcing the man to fall forward. Thrusting his leg up, his knee slammed into the man's chin sending him onto his back... but only for a second.

"Piper!" He called out, and within seconds Piper thrust her hands out, blowing the man up entirely. "The hell was that?" Turning to Piper, he saw an impressed look on her face.

"Cole really is teaching you quickly, that was good. I was impressed."

He smirked a little. "Cole is a great and ruthless teacher, it's sink or swim with him... so, shall we identify whatever he was? That was scary and I for one don't want a repeat. Hitting him was like hitting a brick wall."

Back at the Castle of Fairytales, the Wicked Witch was watching the scene through the Mirror until it faded, showing the trapped Apprentice once more. " Try as you like. Fairy tale magic runs out at midnight."

"There's still plenty of time." The Wicked Witch then picked up a shiny red apple. " The Woodsman failed but I won't. I'll split the witches up and make sure none of them live happily ever after. I'll start with that boy, he is in love and has healing powers, he seems more proactive than the woman. Without him, I doubt the others will be aggressive enough to face me. " She then grabbed a set of glass slippers, then a wooden puppet. Glaring at the mirror once more, she waved her hand, vanishing in a swirl of smoke.

Chapter end, tell me what you think in the reviews.
